Combat feels kind of "weak", needs more screenshake! Graphics look nice, but the mechanics get repetetive really fast, needed some collectable upgrades or something?
Art and animation is amazing. I really missed some information about my gold and the training units ui was no fun to use.
Great depth though! Killing thieves and forgiving murderers is fun :3
About perfomance: Yea, HTML5 does not run great with this, the windows client works better. (not great either)
Thx for all the comments and tips for improvement, lots of usefull stuff!
It has potential, but at the moment it's kind of repetitive (see other comments). Pushed the box against the wall too, so I couldn't finish.
But: For a first game, this is good. Keep on dev'ing! :)
Technically, this is really clean. Very nice art style. Sounds and music would really add to the experience. Mechanically, the jump seems a bit off and could be higher.
Nice game. Nice graphics. Cool audio. The missed attacks are too random for my taste but otherwise you got your mechanics down pretty good. :)
This is a lot like this ninja game on xbox360 (mechanics and gameplay wise), which is a fine game, but i prefer more innovative games for a jam. Art looks good and pretty funny theme all arround.
Controls could be a bit tighter and the rate of fire much higher. I know there are skill points, but you could start at a much higher pace and exaggerate from there.
Overall a solid game nonetheless. :)
So I figured out four endings on my own without the guide you provided. After that, I was pretty much clueless. Then I used the guide and I must say that there are clues on screen, but your way of thinking is kind of complicated. :p
On the other hand, I really loved the atmosphere. It reminded me of "Papers, Please". Great art and great sound!
Cool game. I really liked the atmosphere. :)
I liked your game for its mood audiovisually. You captured a great atmosphere, which is your strong point here.
Other than that, from a mechanical point of view, I'm not quite sure what jumping is good for...
Nice game, but really hard. The color switch should come gradually, not all of a sudden.
It's a good effort, keep dev'ing! :)
Controlls felt really awkward. Great use of the theme though.
In the beginning it was not really clear what the goal is. Snowman is +1
Not a fan of those cookie clicker type games. Interesting combination with tower defense though.
Blood is cool, art is really programmer style art. Shooting doesn't feel great (watch this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJdEqssNZ-U ) and enemys don't offer any varity, so the game has no tactical variance. sadly this makes it boring after
Highscore: 200-ish.
This one's hard. First off, you should state in your description that the resolution to be chosen should be of the ratio 16:9.
The ending was a bit abrupt. Controls were good, but I think it would be more fun if you could actually turn in different directions while shooting.
Other than that, I liked your game. :)
