The page reload doesn\'t seem to reset the scroll offset. I keep looking at the tower ;)
That tower is really really far away, and the ball travels really slow..
Interesting concept. But at least you could have more shots per game. It was kinda anoing when trying to hit the castle, when it kept moving. It realy feels unfinished.
Sorry to hear about your troubles with Flex. Well its very playable for an hour's work, and the graphics are nice
I liked the trebuchet animation.
More than one chance is really just necessary... as it is, it's just endless guesswork. I started to learn what numbers reached what distance, but I gave up before ever actually hitting the tower. Started getting kinda close, though.
Could have done with a distance-travelled-o-meter too. Heh, could have done with many things. ;)
Still, for an hour time (especially considering WHICH hour..) it's a pretty decent result. :)
Nice graphics (good backgrounds, nice clean sprites, shadows !). No sound ? Good effort for a two hour hack. Not super original, but nice catapult animation.
If you had specified things in SI units and displayed the gravity and so, I could have actually hit. On the first try.
But yeah, where's the challenge in that, eh? But easier retry would have helped. A lot.
This game is said to have been made in two hours, and it kind of shows. I'm impressed considering the short time used, but it's not all that much fun. Altering trajectory isn't needed since the ground is flat. There's no re-trying on the same distance, which makes the learning curve much longer.
Graphics are pretty nice :)
You have my sympathy. I hate wrestling with tools. This is a pretty nice product for 2 hours.
