Really artistic and great mood! Atmosphere is top notch, I just could not figure out what I should do with these towers. But great game after all! :]

Really artistic and great mood! Atmosphere is top notch, I just could not figure out what I should do with these towers. But great game after all! :]
The parallax background is really artistic and the style overall is great :) I also like the general gameplay(Mouse Controls are sweet!) and the soundtrack(a lot). Sound Effects would have been sweet, also a point-system :) But anyway, great game! Well done.
Aweeeesome! :) The art is super sweet, and the gameplay is really satisfying. You two did a great job! "Have you met, Ted"? xD
What an awesome idea :) Well designed "Tentacle Game" ; )
Great gfx and pacing. I think the Soundtrack could be a bit more "evil" and not that friendly but that is my only critic :)
A bit buggy/itchy(Input mainly), and I think it would be better if the tower won't miss their targets. Anyways sweet gfx and sound :)
I don't see the theme, but great idea : ) Also really fun to play for a while!
Too bad you were not able to finish this game :) It looks really cool. The music is great!
I like the mood and the 3d assets :) SFX are fine, I think you could make something decent out of this :D Good job!
Not really the theme, but it is fun to play :) Music would be really nice! And some engine-sounds.
The art is very lovecraft-ish :) I like that. Also really interesting concept!
The idea is strong, and also the audio :) Good job!
Presentation is cute! Gameplay is nothing special, but well executed :)
Seems inspired by Papers, Please but anyhow, a good and well designed game :) Pixelart is all righty and the sound is good, too!
Super cute, super funny :)
Great job, man! Love the mechanic, the gfx and the theme :) Release the .. Game :D
Humor is great :D Gameplay is a bit too easy, but I liked it. The gfx is rough but appealing :D
It is a bit confusing, but the idea is sweet : ) Art is okay, Music is good!
Controls are a bit weird. Space would have been better for shoot, I believe, but the game is well made and trippin :) Good job!
The art and graphics are top notch :) Great atmosphere!
Sweet idea :) If the graphics would work better as an unit, it would be even more fun!
Graphics - Amazing. Soundtrack - Over the top! Gameplay - Polished and nice idea with the rhytm factor! Just awesome :]
The bunny really gave me a hard time :D But it was satisfying to catch him after all. The gameplay is well polished and the art is super cute! Don't think the theme is really strong in here, but the game is fun! : )
Great idea xD Innovation and Humor really high ; )
Great art, great dialogs, sweet music and multiple endings = love :) Totally like it! Good job.
Somehow icky controls around the tables, but really cute and fun :)
Oh my god :D This is so funny.. Burn them with fire!
Sound would have been really really awesome! And i couldn't figure out how to use the bomb. But it is so much fun to watch them cute little monsters populate and then burn xD Nice one!
Not quite finished, but the artwork is nice :)
Site is offline for me :/ Can't play..
The idea is great :) Also the gfx is cute and not too bad! Only critic, it is kinda easy. Maybe it is getting much harder after some time, but the first five minutes were pretty easy.
Walking speed is a bit too slow and it would be nice to have feedback when you hit a monster. Gfx and Audio are good! :)
Haha :D That was really fun! Like the pixel art and the sounds are great for an arcade game like this.
Super sweet :) Great concept, good gameplay and nice graphics :D Could be nice if there is one enemy ship right at the beginning, but that's cherrypicking.
Dear lord, what a crazy ride :D
The intro was cool, but it is a bit annoying that you have to wait until you can read the text.
The game itself is really funny and I especially like the Music :)
What an awesome idea :) Well designed "Tentacle Game" ; )
Great gfx and pacing. I think the Soundtrack could be a bit more "evil" and not that friendly but that is my only critic :)
Uh.. Wrong post, managed to confuse the tabs. .. ^^ Corrected Rating. I like your game, lauged a lot when I saw the Tardis :D Good job! Only the SFX when someone is talking is a bit annoying. Otherwise really big in humor!
The art is reeeeeally cute :) The gameplay is fun, too!
@A_K, press Enter so start the game :)
Well balanced and a lot of different enemies/cards|weapons to use :) The "Quack" of the ducks is super funny :D Nice Game!
Sweet idea :) Could be a great casual game if you will continue developing! The colours could be a bit more friendly/appealing. But totally fun to play!
Can i interest you.. in an open mouth kiss? :D Funny game, super sweet gfx!
Great concept! I love the idea. Graphics are beautiful. <3
Fun game! Could need some music and tighter controls! Anyways, well done :)
Really impressive for a rpg maker entry :) Mostly I don't like RPG Maker Jam-Games but this really is something else <3 Gfx and Sound is awesome, story is well written and funny!
I like the "experimental" art-Style : ) Gameplay is quite repetitive, but the game has style and mood :)
Awesome gfx and music! :)
I totally love these kind of riddles.
Great game, really fun to play :D I searched a long time for easter eags, while pushing with my finger around.
The gfx is amazing, the animations are rad. But I also stuck at the door, with no idea how to continue :( Anyways, my respects to the artist!
Greeat game :D I wrote a review (on german) about this game: http://www.dernerdpol.de/wordpress/?p=316#more-316
Great art, content, etc. :) Some music and it would be perfect!
Really cute and sweet little game :) Good job!
Funny game : ) Graphics are neat, but the gameplay is not that complex or innovative.
Good base game, I like, that it's getting more and more challenging. Music didn't really fit, though
Really fun short game! Some points though:
Cons:
- triangle control is really weird under water; you get stuck on the walls fairly easy
- remembering the transformations was tough at the beginning -> introduce player to the shapes on the go
- framerate was kinda low
Pros:
- great humor
- tutorial was great
- SPEEDRUN STRATS (seriously, could be a good speedgame)
- I like platformers
Very solid entry! Because of time constraints (lunch break) I wasn't able to play THAT much but I had a lot of fun! Propably going back to it again after work.
Cons:
- controls are very slippery, it has an "ice surface" feel to it, which isn't bad in itself, but here it's too much. I kept sliding into enemies
- super weapon is missing some kind of "punch". What I mean is, that there's no real feedback. Enemies just go through it with out knackback or any hit indication
Good things:
- super easy to pick up
- audio is great. Sets a nice mood and is very nice to listen to
- visuals are minimalistic and fit very well
- different enemy types and AI make it more challenging, because you have to remember how enemies act
So overall: Great job!
The idea is super cool :) I like the art, the sound and the pacing! Feels like I'm a super cool baby.
Do I event need to say anything?
Great graphics and music, solid gameplay. Has great potential! Keep it up :)
Great game, really tough in the beginning though. Have to admit, I got stuck on the second level :P
Cool little game. Unfortunately I got lost a couple times, because everything looks exactly the same.
But overall pretty cool, keep up the good work :)
Great entry! Shaving SFX are the best :)
It took me couple of tries to find out what to do. Then I got to 24.
I like the concept. Some sound whould have been nice :)
COUCH MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
Great work! Really had fun finishing this game :) The more I played it, the more I liked it!
I had a great time playing your game! Especially liked the last infinite survival level (though you can cheese it to bits).
Great game! Keep up the good work :)
Overall really FANTASTIC game. Loved everything about it. Sorry for breaking the last room though :P
wow, you got me. I'm laughing my ass off. I'll propably go to hell
Nice concept, fun little game.
Cons:
- audio too loud and didn't fit
- towers can't get destroyed
Pros:
- good controls
- gets more challenging over time
- nice map
Overall good job :) Keep it up
I really like the concept, but there's a lot of polish missing to make this a really fun game.
Cons:
- As others said before: controls. A control scheme like Hotline Miami would be a perfect fit
- missing feedback: At the beginning I didn't really know why I died. It took me a while to figure out, that there security guards in front of me but outside the visible area who shot me. Some sounds or maybe showing the player what killed them would be nice
- every room is basically the same concept: shapeshift into someone who can proceed -> done. Could use some more environmental things like "You need to shapeshift into that guy, but you have to lure him out first"
Pros:
- I like the hitman vibe
- basic concept is nice
So overall it just needs some more polish and content and this could become a solid game. Good job :)
Really lovely art and music! There are a few issues though. I accidentally clipped through the wall in the first level and was able to just walk around to the exit, and the second level seems to be broken unfortunately. Great looking game though.
- randomhuman
Nice and juicy, I like it! The music is really good, it's a shame you can't be rated on that. The controls seem a bit unusual, but since there's not really any reason to stop firing, they work fine. Good game!
- randomhuman
Really great art and atmospheric sound, and I like the laying of traps. The doom-esque UI is also pretty fun, but I think the character should have been centred in the visible area of the screen.
- randomhuman
Exciting gameplay, but there are a few problems which make it also quite frustrating - getting stuck on walls, a fussy action button, and inconsistent jump height. With those issues fixed this would be an excellent game. The art and music are great.
- randomhuman
The gameplay is a tough balancing act, but I think that just adds to the tension, which is impressive. The writing is really excellent. I only managed to get a full confession out of one person, and my incompetent assistant killed most of my victims!
- randomhuman
Gruesome. I didn't realise the chair was even interactable until after my first playthrough! I played it again and it seems he really did like that chair a lot... I liked the way the story was told through interactions with various objects around them because I think in that situation those things would take on a lot of significance, but I think Link would have been a better choice of "victim" than chair :P
- randomhuman
Oooh compelling... But I can't figure out how to get that damn second goat! Anyway, really well designed and fun game :)
- randomhuman
The controller is not great. It was a pretty cool moment when I picked up the room and realised that it was actually the same room I was standing in though!
- randomhuman
Solid puzzle design with a perfect difficulty curve. There's a bit of trial and error involved in determining what works, but the art does communicate the concepts well in retrospect. My only criticism is that getting the tiles pointing the way you want can be a bit fiddly sometimes, and sometimes tiles seemed to flip direction without me going near them (or so I thought). It's a great game overall anyway.
- randomhuman
Really beautiful game with well crafted puzzles. Took me a while to get that last one! I'd love to play a few more levels, but it is just the right length for a jam really.
- randomhuman
Wow, very interesting game, I was hooked from the start! Good job!
Fantastic! Very creative gameplay that switched things up every time I was on the verge of getting bored of a mechanic. Difficult in parts, but not insurmountably so, you've just really got to get your route down tight. I adore the simplicity of the art. My only quibble is that the jump control could be a bit more forgiving when trying to jump immediately on landing. - randomhuman
Frantic and ridiculous, I love it! I especially loved the little indignant "please don't touch me" when you pick units up, funny stuff :) The sound effects in general were really fitting and well done, like children playing, and that worked really well contrasted with the implication that these are serious people doing serious things.
My only criticism is that later on it becomes difficult to flick things because the input is interpreted as a pick-up. Really great game though!
- randomhuman
Pretty cool idea, but a bit lacking in variety. I think it could have done with different use cases for the spells maybe, different strengths and weaknesses for the enemies, that kind of thing. As it is the only one that seems to work differently is the brain spell. The monster art is cute.
- randomhuman
I was a bit disappointed that I didn't end up walking on the walls or ceiling at any point. However, this is a great concept, executed with a bold visual style, and a lot of fun to play, so I really can't fault it.
- randomhuman
Really nice art and music! The gameplay could do with having a bit more to it though. Maybe you could only have a certain number of failures allowed, and some sort of ambiguous clues to follow regarding the pixie locations...
- randomhuman
I don't see the connection to the theme, but it is a neat game nonetheless. I liked the music especially.
- randomhuman
Pretty cool, but not enough guests showed up on either of my playthroughs, and I just ended up frittering away my money on the nightly bills. Some of the guests don't even cover their costs either, which is a bit weird. Fun though, I might give it another go now and see if I get lucky!
- randomhuman
The bounce angle of the ball seems a bit unrealistic to me, and that seems to be what causes it to become stuck bouncing between two points out of reach of the paddle. A corridor might have been a better type of room to use for this game!
- randomhuman
Great concept about legitimately horrifying trends in gaming, and also quite hilarious!
So stylish, and the mood is perfect! I really enjoyed the main mechanic, I think there is a lot that could be done with that in a longer game.
- randomhuman
Really beautiful art, an interesting story, and a lot of fun to play. The combat is a little off though, not enough forward motion in the attack and the enemies seem to always be just out of reach - and too unpredictable and dangerous to hook! Great game though!
- randomhuman
Really interesting take on the theme, like a vision of hell! I wasn't really sure what I actually did to get through some of the levels, but I found the whole thing fascinating and enjoyable. I actually even enjoyed doing up the rooms! Good job!
- randomhuman
Neat idea. The art is a bit bargain-bin, which I guess you realise, but the gameplay is quite fun. I'm not sure why there is an option to throw away the notes, because all it seems to have done is made me miss out on content...
- randomhuman
@UltraRat Ok, that makes sense. I mean it was my first instinct to throw the first note away, but then I really wanted to see the reply :)
- randomhuman
Is the name a reference to Darkest Dungeon? I like it! The game looks nice and sounds great, but I'm not really sure where to go after depleting the three obvious food stores. It seems like the cold doesn't leave you enough range to find whatever else might be out there, especially as warming up takes so long I think you only get one shot at it. Fun game though, it is very satisfying blasting the snow guys to bits.
- randomhuman
Damn, it's quite tough to generate diversity! My highest so far is 23 colours. Good game, I like it! I think I will play it again in fact...
- randomhuman
If by "work" you mean mindlessly paw at a keyboard while reading twitter on my phone, then can do!
Seriously though, interesting interpretation with a depressingly austere implementation.
That was really fun :) I like the combination of puzzling with timing/reflexes, and I like how unassuming the room looks before you start clicking on things :)
- randomhuman
Really juicy and well polished. The art is gorgeous, the sound is excellent, and the gameplay is frantic and fun. Good job all around!
- randomhuman
Great fun! I couldn't figure out how to use the bombs, but I was able to use a rocket launcher to knock the enemy base off the bookshelf in the last level, and then I was able to destroy it. Great concept and well executed.
- randomhuman
Great little puzzle game, with really lovely pixel art. The puzzle mechanics build up quite well, but towards the end some of the puzzles become solvable with only a few of the provided pieces. For example, the last puzzle I think you can solve with just the two blocks from the start of the game! I imagine that is down to time constraints though, and overall it is a really fun game.
- randomhuman
Non-runner for me on MacOS, and no logs seem to have been generated. Sorry :(
Great game! I especially like the energetic soundtrack. I think one of the patterns is a bit unfair - I can't be certain because there is so much to take in, but I think the only free squares were on the other side of the board. I've made it to 52 seconds after a few attempts anyway, and it is a lot of fun :)
- randomhuman
Really well polished with gorgeous art and music. Really captured the atmosphere of a dank engineer's lair. The gameplay was short but sweet - I completed my masterpiece on the second try. Great game!
Not bad, I like it! The water producer didn't seem to work though, so I only survived by the skin of my teeth when I ran out of water, and the oxygenator didn't seem to be required... Anyway it is a cool concept - I liked that the robot controls were a set it and forget it thing.
- randomhuman
I adore the art and music, but I haven't a clue what is going on! I mean I get that it is four views on the same room, but the effects of my inputs seem to keep changing? Great character design and visual style and everything, but too trippy for me man...
- randomhuman
Oh wow, this is the field I want to get into? I don't wanna die of exposure!
Great story well told, and the art is really great :)
- randomhuman
I feel like I learned something about packing algorithms today... But not very much, because I could only do half the rooms! Very clever and well executed game though, it looks and feels great :)
Oh yeah I forgot to mention it's-a me! randomhuman!
Excellent, fun and addictive. I love the art, especially the effects.
- randomhuman
That's pretty tough! The escalating music is really good at ramping up the tension and the graphics are gorgeous. I gat a D by just shoving things wherever, I'm not sure how I would do better!
Very satisfying when you get a nice clean line of the targets :) Not so much when you miss one! I would maybe like variable speed control instead of just pause/go states? But it's a really cool concept and well executed.
- randomhuman
Those damn kittehs! Took me a while to get the hang of it, but after I did it was quite fun :)
- randomhuman
Very pretty, great music. I think there could be more to the "companions" and the tones that they produce when they bump into you. It seems like they currently try to play along with the music, but often miss? And all they really achieve when they hit you is annoyance. Good game though!
"And by strap in I mean quit the game.." xD This gave me a good laugh. Man, the visual style is super nice :) Also the music and the atmosphere/mood overall. I would love to see a more fleshy version :D Good job!!
Super funny and super goofy entry :D The mechanics are well implemented, the graphics are obviously a bit cheesy. But that makes it charming :) Sound Effects are well done. Mayeb you could work on a post-jam version with more polished animations :) Otherwise, a super game for a game jam. Great entry and good job!
Super cute and challenging :D The graphics are nice, I really like the animations of the mouse character. Music is a bit repetitive but charming. Good job!
Very impressive game! [Graphics] - The highlight, the graphics and colors(!) are super cute and high polished. Looks like a game that could be on steam, maybe just a bit more details would be nice but hey.. game jam! Also the animations are superduper cute. [Music & SFX] - Also very well done! The music is fun and kind of pushing/uplifting. The sound effects are very on point. [Gameplay] - The game is not super easy. There is a skill/learning curve you have to master but after that I was able to play the game very well. What I "discovered", it is possible to wall jump a wall up to the top. (Keep the direction to the wall pressed and then just press jumpjumpjump). Needs some time but I was able to skip a part of the level, not sure if that was on purpose. The gameplay is a lot of fun, I have to say! Jumping on enemies is very satisfying :)
Really good job, there is a lot of potential for this game to become a very fun platformer!
Everything that is there is really good and well made :) Good controls - it is fun to fly around and the art is really good. I hope you are going for a post jam version :)
Phew, the axe-party was reeally! difficult :D The idea is super awesome, and I especially adore the art/level design. I like these small world with a lot of different stuff in them. I guess you can improve on movement and platform controls, but you should totally do a post-jam version! There is a lot of potential to this idea :)
Really solid game :) The concept is not that new, but you implemented it really well. I guess there could be some improvement on the art side and also the controls are a bit icky from time to time. But for a jam game? Really good job :)
Nice concept, had a lot of fun playing it :) The art is a bit stiff, but the gameplay works quite good. Always had a good time shoot some of those evil UFOs!!
The whaaat :D That was a really crazy experience. I did not fully understand what I did, but my planet shrinked down and then there was just water everywhere :D The game looks and feels super polished and it is super interresting to see what you can achieve with different cards. Only downside, I had some performance issues with the web build.
Nice, this game really makes fun :) The gameplay is really well implemented - it makes fun to figure out how to not become crushed by the red enemies. I guess a local multiplyer would be super nice!
Wow :D Was a bit hard to understand exactly how to control my player, but after that I had a lot of fun :D The idea is shiny and great - Really good job!
Quite difficult, specially these moon enemies. But I like it difficult, so great for me xD The animations of the main character were really good! Also the music is super sweet and the enemies are really different from each other. Just a small idea, I would try to align the tiles via vertex-clipping. Atm the world feels kind of "icky" for me, because the tiles/pieces are very random placed. I hope you get what I mean :D Great job anyways! Cool game :)
This is a super unique and cute idea :) I guess the Space input is quite not necessary since pressing up works just fine. The difficulty is a bit high but after you figure it out it is possible to beat some checkpoints :D I totally like the fly art, this is super cute. Great job! Totally worth a post jam version with a bit of music and maybe a tutorial or something like that :)
@GhostAndShell, for a specific reason? Itch.io not okay for you? I would like to keep it on one site, at the moment. Maybe if I'll do a post-jam version, I may think about it.
@RealityCheck The strategy is to get as many people as possible to dance. Depending on how many are dancing and how many are not, you get more or less Points per Second. I should have made that more clear :& But thanks for the feedback anyways!
@xavier-indie-gamedev HA :D thanks man! I "wrote" the music in three hours but it was more like "let's put some drum beats together.. okay and now two hour jamming with the guitar, no mixing etc. export and go". I want to improve music and sounds for a post jam version and also improve the score-mechanic. Thanks for the feedback!
@devpaul a leaderboard is already in the pipeline :) I'll just wait till voting is finished, before I publish it.
Super sweet game :) "The earthlings have escaped" :O I guess I was too bad, but I made it till ~2020. Some music would be nice, otherwise well done! Good job.
I'm really impressed about the quite polished level choose scene and then there is still this complete game behind it :) I guess there are some obvious things which could be added to make the levelbuild process more fluid(maybe rightclick to undo, or just an undo function), but for a jam game awesome job!! Also the levels have a good increase of difficulty. :) Music is awesome - graphics are functional and well done too.
This game is cute and relaxing at the same time <3 :)
The artstyle is amazing! Super stylized and it works really well to generate a nice atmosphere. Just you and your dog on a lonely island/watchtower. Also the final thing (no spoilers here) is super nice visually :)
Obviously there is not a lot of gameplay, except trigger all the events. But it is still a funny and relaxing game with a story which allows a lot of interpretation.
Good job!
The idea is cute :) Graphics, Sound etc. really good. Not my kind of game mechanics, but great job anyways :)
Very relaxing game with a lot of features well implemented. Good job!! I guess what would be good, if you try to decide on one kind of pixel resolution for all the pixel art. FunFact: You can still craft after you died :D
Sweet :D I totally dig the art style, it feels super oldschoolish/90s-like. The gameplay is well done :) Good job man!!
The graphics are awesome :) Just the controls are a bit icky, I had problems to keep the camera where I wanted. Otherwise a really nice idea with great potential! Looking forward for a post-jam version.
Controls are a bit difficult, but the game overall is great. Pretty nice idea with the permanently changing level.
I'm impressed with the pixel art and the idea is quite creative. It was a bit hard to figure out how to play it actually, and sometimes I wasn't sure were the 'click area' is now when I want to go left or right. Except these minor issues, the game is really enjoyable and the atmosphere is chilly. I like this game alot :D
Great idea :) You should totally keep working on this game. I guess there are some balance problems, with ordering food needs maybe a bit too long? The graphics are really nice and I had a lot of fun finding out all the different things to do.
I do like the art and the idea :) The controlls are a bit buggy, but a jam game is a jam game :D Also I'm not sure how to get a bullet out of the game once it has been shot. You can just jump again and again, right? Maybe you could work a bit on the core gameplay to make it possible to block/or destroy the projectiles. Otherwise really good job, you just could have used more time :D
Liked the game alot :) It gets really interessting when there are at least two mice :) I like the music, the graphics are really nice.
I totally like the visual style, it looks very retro/sci-fi. The controls are a bit confusing, because down does not mean down, if you get what I mean :D I would change it, so when I press down, the player moves down and not down/right. I think you could polish this game a bit and then it would be really good :) Good job anyways!
Nice puzzle/physics game :) The graphics are super stylized but that fits the genre and I like it. Also the atmosphere is quite relaxing and helps to figure out the solution for the levels. Great job :) Well done! Had some problems with the mouse speed, it was a lot to slow for me.
