As some others have mentioned, the graphics are literally eye-hurting. And after walking for what felt like ages, I only found the wizard dude, two laundry-people next to each toher and two huts. You say that there are 16 items and who knows how many people, but the game doesn't try to make the player want to look for them. Imo the map is too big for anyone to be willing to walk for an hour to find just 3 items. I think this game would've been better with a tight map that had everything within, say, a 100 block radius or less, possibly with multiple levels (dungeons, caves, etc.). Now, I don't have anything against exploration. Quite contrary. But let's see how Skyrim nailed exploration. It had a living ecosystem everywhere. I'm not saying you should make Skyrim in Ludum Dare, I'm just saying the world lacks life, i.e it doesn't have depth
