Very cool mechanic. One of my favorite games I've played so far. Good job!

Very fun game, I love the sound effects. The movement Controls feel a little loose though.

georgebroussard 2015-04-21 03:23

This was great. Always enjoy your work. The mechanic was fun as hell. Took me a bit to realize to finish the level I had to gather all the robot parts and put them in the trash bin, but that was fine :) Well done for 48 hours. Love the art, style and music.

Awesome, thanks George :) I realized after submitting that the goal could have been made more obvious - probably should have put some tutorial text in the UI to that effect. Appreciate the feedback!

Nice game and very well polished. I am amazed that you could do this much within game jam.

dix 2015-04-21 09:51

Ahhaha nice idea :D The art is pretty awesome too :D Very funny :D

shimage 2015-04-21 09:54

I really like this! I think the idea that collecting robots is very neat. It motivates me.

detocroix 2015-04-21 09:58

Very polished feeling. Needs a bit more motivator / reasoning for robot part collection. I did realize that very fast when playing, but while killing robots and bringing their remains to the boxes, it didn't really reward you wish anything or so it felt. It was great to watch on screen and overral playability was really good too! Congrats :)

This is simply amazing! Great game mechanics, very smooth controls and perfect connection with the theme! I've recycled whole planet and had a lot of fun doing that :)

stevesalmond 2015-04-21 10:18

Thanks Tommy! Detocroix, I agree with you about the robot part collection feeling a bit arbitrary at the moment. Perhaps I should have made a 'trash compactor' that turned robot parts into special bullets or armor pieces! :D Thanks for the feedback, it all helps.

It "sucks" in a good way :D The idea is cool, never seen such a game before. Hope it's longer.

eregaia 2015-04-22 13:42

suck, blow, XD fantastic game

agmcleod 2015-04-25 00:17

Very well done!

herniewise 2015-04-25 20:14

peecestudios 2015-04-27 00:09

Love the game, really neat idea!

Nice Job! Very fun with the physics. The graphics and animations are really cool!

geckoo1337 2015-05-01 12:11

This is an interesting concept with a cool aesthetic. It's good enough. Very cool mechanic ++

huvaakoodia 2015-05-01 12:43

"Well Done, you're a recycling MACHINE!"
What have I become!!!

split82 2015-05-01 13:28

Excellent. One of my favourites.

madball 2015-05-01 13:29

Nice idea! I also liked robotic sounds and music. The walking animation is a bit weird, it's the same whether you run or jump.

The idea of being able to shoot different items is good, but I think it would be better if I had a simpler way to recycle, like bins only taking robot parts. Also, enemy projectiles can accidentally hurt you when you try to pick them up. And I think you should limit their maximum amount, a lot of physic objects leads to lag.

Overall, this game is fun and cool, but it feels unfinished. Similar environment, similar enemies.

leaghorn 2015-05-01 13:54

Very cool. One of my favourites. Very well executed. (if anything, walking animation could be better)

recursor 2015-05-01 14:05

This has some of the best art I've seen so far.

pi_pi3 2015-05-01 14:44

This is great! Now stop doing whatever you're doind and go make a full game based on this.

ethanwebster 2015-05-01 15:51

Really good game, nicely done!

barkergames 2015-05-02 03:01

Wow, I love the game mechanic.
Great job!

daredevildave 2015-05-02 10:43

Nice mechanic, well polished. Not sure quite what I had to do after I killed all the robots though...

skiddings 2015-05-02 23:12

This is really professional and very impressive!

deltaf1 2015-05-11 23:44

This is an *awesome* mechanic. The art style is awesome, and I love how everything is physics based, and you can use the enemies' bullets against them. Well done!

(It took me a while to realize that the level extended to the right as well as to the left, but I figured it out eventually.)
