Oct 4 19:45:31 8m 59s Astroboi ♥ 2 Astroboi is great! A little difficult until you get the hang of the controls, but I couldn't stop playing!
Oct 4 20:03:38 18m 07s WhileLoops ♥ 1 Genius!
Oct 4 20:09:41 6m 03s Hyperbolic Space Fighters Extreme! ♥ 1 Fantastic! The gameplay is simple enough to learn it quick, but the art is mind-boggling. Great job!
Oct 4 20:28:50 19m 09s Raccoon in a Loop ♥ 4 Well-made! The controls are nice and simple.
Oct 4 20:56:04 27m 14s STUCK? ♥ 1 Do not play. The only way to close it is Windows Task Manager. (thanks, @king-cacti !!)
Oct 6 02:57:19 30h 01m Time Saver ♥ 4 Hmm, the Windows file doesn't seem to work.
Oct 6 03:08:30 11m 11s Stuck In Paris ♥ 4 HAHAHA, explosions everywhere!
Oct 6 03:12:54 4m 24s Sisyphus Beetle Takes His Daughter to Work ♥ 3 That was immensely fun!
Oct 6 03:31:19 18m 25s Dolen Days ♥ 1 Fantastic!
Oct 6 04:19:38 48m 19s I'm not sick!! ♥ 1 Fun, but the enemies quickly get too overwhelming.
Oct 6 04:34:02 14m 24s Lunar Loop ♥ 1 Lunar Loop is one of the best games this Ludum Dare!
Oct 6 04:40:23 6m 21s Fish Balls ♥ 0 Very calming!
Oct 6 04:45:43 5m 20s A Game of Chance ♥ 0 Ha ha, I love the narration! This is a great game, using the same doors over and over again really stumped me!
Oct 6 05:00:16 14m 33s Purgatory is a Music Store ♥ 3 Fantastic!
Oct 6 05:07:31 7m 15s a nice place ♥ 1 I'd love to play a full, even longer version! This game is heartwarming!
Oct 6 05:23:37 16m 06s A Loop to Save The World ♥ 1 Really good for only three days of development!
Oct 6 05:34:07 10m 30s Suicidal Boyfriend ♥ 5 Considering making a friendly version for more age-diverse audiences? That would be a great way to get additional popularity and votes.
Oct 6 23:18:34 17h 44m Froot Loops Delivery Job ♥ 1 Fun, but it has a bit of bugs.
Oct 6 23:35:36 17m 02s It Makes Plants... ♥ 1 Fun game, but there are some growth problems with the sprinklers and suction issues with the vacuuming.
Oct 9 02:20:25 50h 44m Woofice Chair! ♥ 4 Fantastic! Who knew beating up bodybuilding cats, birds, and squirrels was so fun!
Oct 9 02:23:22 2m 57s Escape From The Loop! ♥ 2 Nicely done! I wish there were more levels!
Oct 9 03:31:59 1h 08m The Basement ♥ 2 Very disorienting (but immensely fun)!
Oct 9 03:47:08 15m 09s Skycrawler ♥ 1 Wow, that really challenged my mind to think outside the box! Well done!
Oct 9 03:53:01 5m 53s Redneck Raceway ♥ 1 Nicely made! The steering is a bit laggy though.
Oct 9 04:00:37 7m 36s Dr. Needles and the Nightclub ♥ 2 What are the menu controls? Using the newest version I can't get past the menu.
Oct 9 04:05:59 5m 22s Stuck in a Soup Loop ♥ 5 In my opinion, this is one of the best games this jam!
Oct 9 04:21:54 15m 55s The Curse of Cattenburg ♥ 2 Wow! This is great! It does run a bit slow on my PC, but that's my CPU's fault. Maybe if it was on something with high-power CPU and GPU, say, an Xbox One, it would run faster. (hint hint)(I'd love to have an extended version of this on my Xbox One!)
Oct 9 04:32:37 10m 43s Save The Prince ♥ 2 Nice game! I like the added touch of making different boards.
Oct 9 04:38:50 6m 13s Ringchaser ♥ 2 Nice and fun! I got 8th place before Chrome rejected the game. (I'm Kirito2031) Great game!
Oct 9 04:56:36 17m 46s Loopamonium ♥ 2 Wow, this is great! I hope you hit 20 ratings! This is really impressive, I never could have done something like this when I was 12!
Oct 9 05:03:23 6m 47s Fancy Trash ♥ 3 Ha ha ha! The graphics, the story, the itch.io mouse cursor, everything is great and hilarious!
Oct 9 05:10:50 7m 27s Defuse in under 5 ♥ 0 This is great! And to think you did it with C2 amazes me. How did you make the ghosts of yourself work? (As a fellow Construct developer, I'm curious!) I agree with @grizzliusmaximus , we could have a winner right here! Way to represent Construct!
Oct 9 05:26:27 15m 37s minotorus ♥ 1 Well-made! It is really jumpy, but don't worry, it's just my PC. Nicely done!
Oct 9 05:57:47 31m 20s Creed ♥ 1 Nice job! The AI was fun to listen to, the gameplay was flawless, and the graphics are great!
Oct 9 06:29:22 31m 35s Anything For You ♥ 5 Wow. Just, wow. The music. The story. The art. The voice acting. The code. Forget being my new predicted winner of LD47, this is one of the greatest games I have ever played. I don't think there is a way I can express how proud I am of everyone who made this game. I'd love to see more games tying into Anything For You, or an extended version. I have never been this moved by a game before. Too bad there's no feature to ultra-boost your ratings for one specific game!
Oct 9 16:44:51 10h 15m Stuck In a Hoard (While Looping) ♥ 2 Nicely made! The walls do have a bit too much friction, and it would be nice if the death screen said your score, but overall it's fantastic!
Oct 9 17:20:24 35m 33s Box Hole ♥ 2 Ha ha ha! Congratulations, this got on my favorite games list!
Oct 9 18:37:51 1h 17m The Titan's grave ♥ 2 Fun! However, I think the controls aren't responsive enough for the final stage to be cleared without an hour or so of gaming.
Oct 9 18:45:20 7m 29s System Reboot ♥ 2 Nice game, but I do agree with a lot of other players that the wrench swinging could be better.
Oct 9 19:28:56 43m 36s Punpkin Loops ♥ 2 Nice job for your first game!
Oct 9 19:32:45 3m 49s Clound loop ♥ 1 Nice game! The player definitely needs some better deceleration though.
Oct 9 21:36:24 2h 03m Hyperloop ♥ 2 Wow! The graphics and soundtrack are really captivating! After two games that ended in quick failures, I managed to get 292.88 seconds. Well done, @r3l0ad1 !
Oct 9 23:30:17 1h 53m Phil Alone ♥ 2 Ha ha ha! I love how cheerful and innocent the music is when you die in your sleep! It never fails to amuse me!
Oct 10 02:35:52 3h 05m Time Loop ♥ 1 Fun game! The use of the theme is great, because time is a never-ending loop. Great job!
Oct 10 02:49:01 13m 09s GravLoop ♥ 3 NOTE: Xbox controllers are frequently used with PCs, so I'll provide a control translation. Left Stick: same X: B button on Xbox controllers R2: Right Trigger (RT) Options: Press Right Stick
Oct 10 03:54:04 1h 05m Office Dating Simulator 2020 ♥ 2 Well, that was crazily fun! I like the option of six endings, everything from blowing the office up, to living in an anime afterlife, to getting food poisoning. Well done! This is one of my favorite games this jam! I'm also going to note, you should put a note on the Ludum Dare or itch.io page warning younger players about the language.
Oct 11 01:55:37 22h 01m Never End ♥ 2 Nice game, but it would be better if Up Arrow and W were jump instead of Space. It's really hard to play when the jump button is awkwardly placed!
Oct 11 02:35:38 40m 01s Dude Ranch ♥ 4 Ha ha! This is probably the craziest game I have ever played! Good job!
Oct 11 02:48:04 12m 26s Derps 'n' Dergs - One shot to save the world! ♥ 1 I'd love to see a whole fantasy game like this! The music and art were great! And Peter B. Paladin makes me laugh! I get the obvious reference.
Oct 11 03:04:20 16m 16s Re:Live ♥ 3 Nice job!
Oct 11 03:12:59 8m 39s Lucky Lefty Loves Loops ♥ 3 Well done!
Oct 11 05:12:03 1h 59m Escape from LAB 2635 ♥ 1 Very nice! It took me a while to get the hang of the controls, but once I figured them out I fully enjoyed this game!
Oct 11 14:23:52 9h 11m Beyond Death ♥ 5 Extremely well-done! The world is very nice-looking, the animations are smooth and flawless, and not many 3D games can boast that the infamous "wall bug" doesn't exist! ("Wall bug" example: like in the game NHL 20, the hockey player's sticks often go through the walls or other players) I'd love to see a much longer version of this! My only complaint is the lack of using Right Stick (or some keyboard keys) to rotate the camera. You got the camera at the perfect angle so this wasn't much of an issue though.
Oct 11 17:45:13 3h 21m MUGEN ♥ 1 Nicely done! The gameplay was very smooth and fast and challenged my touchpad abilities.
Oct 12 02:59:36 9h 14m Hold "A" To Win! ♥ 3 Ha ha! Nice job! (Also, go Construct 3!) @trexxak Ha ha! Yeah, more or less!
Oct 12 23:03:12 20h 03m Minotaur's Labyrinth ♥ 2 Nicely done! I like the contrast between the simplicity of the graphics and the difficulty of the game. Unless you know the trick to the game (which I won't reveal), it's a very challenging game! It's still mind-bending and fun anyway. If you make a full version of this, I say that everything is already great and nothing needs to be changed!
Oct 12 23:30:25 27m 13s HONK II ♥ 2 Nicely made! There is a problem though: after I hit the "send to message center" button on my low battery alert (poor computer), all of the game UI went away! Unsurprisingly I died quickly since I couldn't see my HP or ammo.
Oct 13 14:07:59 14h 37m Looped ♥ 2 Nicely done! The bullets do need to be way faster though, because the enemies are a bit fast for the number that there are, and the bullets are incredibly slow.
Oct 14 13:04:03 22h 56m Gorilla Taxi ♥ 2 Great job! I'd love to see the drifting experiment added to this!
Oct 14 13:13:29 9m 26s Bhoot && Toobh ♥ 2 Well done! For me, trying to figure out how to do it was like: "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Congratulations! You made a puzzle game that could really stump me!
Oct 15 11:18:51 22h 05m The Looping Legend ♥ 1 Nice work! I wish the player's shooting ability was better, the shooting worked about 5% of the time.
Oct 15 11:54:10 35m 19s Witch Loop ♥ 1 Nicely done! However, it's frustrating how there are no instructions, no HP UI, the different potions are not explained, you can fly offscreen, and the enemies can shoot at you from offscreen. The game needs a little work, but I'll go ahead and blame Unity since the export didn't work right. It sure seems to have happened to a lot of people, Unity not exporting right!
Oct 15 20:20:27 8h 26m Stuck in a Hoop! ♥ 2 Ha ha! Well done! I love the game story!
Oct 15 20:30:34 10m 07s Roll your Dough ♥ 1 Hmm, how do you get past the alarm clock? I just snooze it and when it should be 6:00 it jumps to past 9 and I'm fired.
Oct 15 21:21:40 51m 06s Boris the Bear Hunter ♥ 2 Nice game! Every time I find the bear the camera zooms in and then no scrolling, cutscenes, unzooming, or anything happens. Then I immediately get killed when I can't even see myself. Is this a bug, or just something I'm supposed to avoid?
Oct 15 21:38:35 16m 55s Project R.O.O.M ♥ 2 Could you export this as WebGL/HTML5 or .exe? Some people, including me, can't get this to work.
Oct 15 21:42:36 4m 01s Time Loop ♥ 1 Nicely done! However, the bullets definitely need to be faster. They are so slow I can't ever shoot anything without it already hitting my energy field!
Oct 15 22:47:54 1h 05m Stuck in the Clock ♥ 2 Nice! There are problems with jumping though: a. The jumping is incredibly unreliable b. I can move the player with a controller's left stick, but there's no way to jump!
Oct 15 22:56:56 9m 02s Loading... ♥ 1 Very well done! Reminds me of "There Is No Game" on the Scirra Arcade (it won a game jam a while back). However, the circle minigame is WAY too fast for someone who uses a touchpad and not a mouse. (Because I don't own a mouse)
Oct 15 23:14:24 17m 28s The Dumb Robot ♥ 2 I agree that the losing comments are sometimes a bit rude, and the graphics seem too static, but good job with everything else!
Oct 15 23:43:56 29m 32s Routine ♥ 3 Good job! After calling trying to call Mary like ten times it still wouldn't work though. The music is great, but gave out after a few days. I guess the music isn't looping?
Oct 16 13:16:44 13h 32m Led Astray ♥ 4 Wow, this is really good! Now my "Favorite 11 Games Of LD47" list gets to be changed to "Favorite Dozen Games Of LD47". I love the adventurous/tragic music, I love the sad story, and I love the graphics! (I have made it well-known on several posts and my own game that I have a soft spot for hand-drawn style graphics.)
Oct 16 13:38:33 21m 49s Ribbon ♥ 2 Really good game! I hope there's a post-Ludum Dare version, because I wish this was longer!
Oct 16 13:58:07 19m 34s I've Been Busy Being Dead ♥ 2 Very fun game! I was unsurprised that the art was so good when I saw who the artist is for this game.
Oct 16 21:34:11 7h 36m Loop Frogs ♥ 3 Nice work! There have been multiple platformers with the same basic design as this, but nothing has had these challenges and obstacles! Plus no one ever thought to use frogs.
Oct 16 21:59:28 25m 17s Reincarnation ♥ 2 Good job! The audio, story, and world design were all nice. I disagree with the above comment and think that you did the best possible controls. Aside from my game, all other platformers I've seen use Space to jump, and I think it's a bad key because you have to have two hands controlling what could be done with three keys all right beside each other. There were a few problems with the game though: the spikes weren't quite aligned with the ground, and the camera wasn't positioned good at all. I couldn't even see the bottoms of the character's legs most of the time, so I could never see where to jump next. Also, the ground is very uneven and it makes it impossible to jump unless you stand still. Other than those issues, fantastic job on your game!
Oct 16 22:04:33 5m 05s Backpack Hero ♥ 2 Fun game! I beat every level monster and probably set a speed record. The trick: stand under an eye, hold Up Arrow, and GO CRAZY WITH THE X BUTTON!!!!!! You'll kill the boss before it kills you.
Oct 16 23:59:33 1h 55m Roller Riches ♥ 2 Well, at the time I'm typing this, I just hit 1.380E + 8. I've got the peanut butter, loops and banks everywhere, and just one ride gets me millions of dollars. And there are countless cars at the same time. Well done! I've been going for 45+ minutes now, and I haven't stopped. That's saying something! This is definitely worthy of a computer or mobile game! You'll need to add savegame support though.
Oct 17 00:55:28 55m 55s CONTRAST ♥ 2 Fantastic! This is the power of Construct 3! Fighting game, puzzle game, both! As a long-time Construct 2/3 user, I'm happy to see something so good made with the world's best engine! (I seriously typed a whole ton of C3's advantages over other engines earlier. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/evo-loop-tion-ludum-dare-47/what-should-i-choose-unity-godot-corona-cocos it's somewhere in there. Just look for the biggest comment ever.) Two things: It would be nice to have HP bars, and you should probably change the link to HTML5 and not Windows. I expected yet another itch.io download link but was instead surprised to see the same arcade where I uploaded my game.
Oct 17 01:48:17 52m 49s Loop Lock Malfunction ♥ 2 Wow, this is fantastic! It took me a while to figure out how to not stink at combat, but the multiple games were worth it!
Oct 18 20:45:14 42h 56m Solivagant ♥ 2 Very fun! Personally, I think the graphics are well done and don't need changing. (Then again, a couple other developers have noted how they hate how I respect simplicity in graphics.) I haven't gotten to the real ending yet because a gate snapped shut on top of me and I became permanently stuck, but this is definitely one of the games that needs to get more ratings!
Oct 19 22:52:38 26h 07m App-ocalypse ♥ 1 Hey @reddarkwh , can you fix the screen issues? For those with 1366 x 768 screens, like me and @eduardo-yukio , we can't see the score, motivation bar, combo count, and all of the other edges of the screen. It's kind of hard to play when you can see almost nothing.
Oct 19 23:06:21 13m 43s The Nightmare ♥ 2 I downloaded this game like "Oh, another horror game. Whoopee. Time for some slightly edgy music and a weird-looking monster or whatever." . . . . My mistake. . . . . I think I had a heart attack. . . . . I'm still on edge. . . . . After my first monster attack I was like "I want to climb the walls! I don't want to die!" Darn, that was the scariest thing I have ever played. It would be nice to be able to save the clues you've already found, because I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK IN!! and yet I want to beat the game!
Oct 19 23:29:36 23m 15s TimeBot ♥ 2 Nicely done! The text was a little blurry, and the collision of the player was extremely unreliable, but I really enjoyed it! The first eight levels were easy for me, but the last level... good puzzle. That really got me until I figured out the perfect sequencing and the clue in the name.
Oct 20 01:08:31 1h 38m Aboard ♥ 2 Wow, well done! The first time I played Day 4 glitched and I got to do unlimited days, once I hit Day 10 I figured out what should have happened and replayed. The message at the end is very nice, and I like the nice simple graphics. You really need to add a warning about the extreme language on Day 4 though, people of all ages play and develop on ldjam.com.
Oct 20 01:23:01 14m 30s LaserLoop ♥ 2 Very good job! After spending quite a while analyzing laser angles I'm now smarter when it comes to Laserangleology.
Oct 20 03:07:14 1h 44m Troubled Mind: A Life of Torture ♥ 2 Wow, that was... an intense end. Ha ha, I'm glad I read the comments first, with my volume at 2% and my headset master volume at 30% or so, all of the sounds were still so loud!
Oct 20 03:19:44 12m 30s Spaghetti Quest ♥ 2 This was fun! Good job!
Oct 20 03:32:09 12m 25s Cyber Blob ♥ 2 Wow, the graphics are incredible! The monster almost never left the area around its initial spot though, I had to go right up to it and then run away at the same speed as it to make it go anywhere.
Oct 21 04:22:30 24h 50m Hamster Simulator ♥ 2 Wow, this is a fantastic take on incremental games! The Right Arrow and leveling up encourages the player to stay and play, and the music really makes you feel the intensity of the running. I love how the "play" and "support" itch.io buttons refer to the game as "The Awesomeness"! Thanks for recommending this game to me!
Oct 21 21:52:00 17h 29m Super Jump Guy ♥ 2 Nicely done! The dialogue could be a bit more out of the way though, and the dialogue popped up at weird points. (Like, I was right at the end and the player was like "poor zombie..." even though there were exactly 0.)
Oct 22 03:12:05 5h 20m Blip ♥ 1 Nice relaxing game! The music definitely fits in well.
Oct 22 03:19:26 7m 21s The Pongs ♥ 2 This game is great! I love the "annoying" chiptune music, it really set the mood. I also like 10 Pongs/Normal Speed/Double Rings. Took me 154 nudges to get two out!
Oct 22 03:23:26 4m 00s QLOOP ♥ 2 Well done! I wish it were turn-based with choosing the action's orders each round though, the game went a bit too fast for me to even hit 1000.
Oct 22 04:03:44 40m 18s Mobodo ♥ 3 Wow, this is extremely good! Another game on the yet-to-be-rereleased "Favorites Of LD47" list. I love the variety of different musics, and I know some people will disagree with me, but the graphics are fantastic! There's character and style in the simplicity of the art.
Oct 22 04:18:24 14m 40s Chicxulub ♥ 2 Wow, who knew dinosaurs flew spaceships to protect the Earth from asteroids?!? This game is incredibly educational!
Oct 22 05:01:23 42m 59s Hide and Seek ♥ 1 Wow, that was very scary! Great job! Gung fhqqra gjvfg ng gur raq ernyyl znxrf zr jnag gb cynl zber! Zr naq bgure qrirybcref naq tnzref ernyyl jnag gb frr zber, rfcrpvnyyl fbzr vasb nobhg gung gjvfg ng gur raq. Cyrnfr znxr n frdhry be rkgraqrq irefvba! Jr arrq gb xabj zber nobhg gur enira-yvxr perngher!
Oct 22 05:11:46 10m 23s Bullet planet ♥ 2 Ha ha, this game is so fun! I love how when you kill an enemy they just topple over. I managed to get 31000 the first time I ever played, and I'm wondering: do the collectible objects do anything?
Oct 22 05:36:39 24m 53s LoopBots ♥ 2 I've lost count of how many platformers with looping clones I've seen and played this jam. Just an estimate: dozens. Results time. (drumroll...) . . . . . . . . . Congratulations! Your game is by far the most unique among the "loop clone platformers"! The strategy of mining ores, the need to harvest power, this game is amazingly creative and original! I love the voice acting for the robots!
Oct 22 05:37:56 1m 17s WoodStone_02 ♥ 1 Very cool!
Oct 23 03:13:17 21h 35m Paper Planes ♥ 1 It's short, it's simple, it's immense fun! Great job!
Oct 23 03:32:25 19m 08s Hyperloop ♥ 4 Great job! It's so polished it seems like a full game that got worked on for months, not something a group put together in a few days!
Oct 23 03:58:42 26m 17s Amusement Shark ♥ 2 The gameplay: nailed! The story: nailed! The graphics: nailed! The audio: nailed! You nailed it, No Grapes Games! This game is very professional-level!
Oct 23 04:32:31 33m 49s Divine Drifter ♥ 4 OH YEAH, RECKLESS DRIVING!! This is the perfect game for anyone who has ever wanted to go way above the speed limit! Just add a few more features to this game and port it to Xbox One, and this'll be an instant hit! (Yes! I made it on four or so of the leaderboards! Kirito2031 does not give up!)
Oct 23 05:41:56 1h 09m Loophole Kingdom ♥ 2 @mateusboga , I think this'll be ranked #1 in Humor when the results are in! I kept laughing out loud a lot! I love how when you kick the bucket, you really "kick the bucket" and you get to argue against the results. And I don't think I've ever seen a game where you get to die at the menu! Fantastic job! It was really a fun challenge getting every ending, and I love how every object has a purpose! (I managed to figure out all of the items, and almost every possible dialogue combination. I got all six endings!)
Oct 23 05:53:54 11m 58s Terror of the Lazy River ♥ 2 What with the simple controls, the graphics, and the music, if you had made this a few dozen years ago this would have been a hit on the Super Nintendo!
Oct 23 20:21:43 14h 27m Loop City ♥ 2 Wow, great job! I love the art.
Oct 23 20:43:08 21m 25s Stranded ♥ 1 Nice job! It would definitely be better if you could see more, though. The flashlight covered almost nothing when aiming it vertically.
Oct 24 03:38:43 6h 55m The Good, The Bad and The Fluffy ♥ 3 Wow, this is very professional! Port this to a console and I bet it'll be a hit!
Oct 24 03:59:08 20m 25s Clockwork ♥ 1 Very fascinating! Great job!
Oct 24 15:59:13 12h 00m Blank Tape ♥ 1 Nice work!
Oct 25 15:43:35 23h 44m Radical Rails ♥ 2 Nice job! Those yellow cars really got me! The AI coding was perfect. I hope you get to 20 ratings, you're almost there!
Oct 26 04:33:46 12h 50m Evo-loop-tion | Ludum Dare 47 ♥ 2 Well done! For your first time using C3, you did really good! (I'm not afraid to admit it, the first game I ever made with C3's ancestor, Construct 2, was really basic and not as good as this game!)
Oct 26 14:47:24 10h 13m Around ♥ 1 Fascinating! The gameplay never fails to bore me, but the red cubes definitely need a warning, because every time I died it was because a red cube appeared at my current coordinates.
Oct 26 23:17:00 8h 29m Janky Marble ♥ 2 Great job! I've seen a lot of games built like this (this is the 100th game I've played this jam), but nobody has done anything quite like this! Even though there was no scoring or anything, I'm still addicted to the gameplay! Relaxing, simple, and creative. 👍
Oct 26 23:25:14 8m 14s Edge of Ludum Dare ♥ 2 Ha ha, I tried every possible combo! This is almost an exact recreation of how my scheduling was this jam! I managed to not have time for art or dialogue too. Exceptions: I didn't try a team and I didn't have a hangover.
Oct 26 23:30:08 4m 54s Hyper Hamster ♥ 2 I managed to make it to space! Great job making this!
Oct 27 03:06:47 3h 36m Progress. ♥ 2 Fantastic job! The graphics were very lifelike, the ending message was inspirational, and I've never seen a game where you have to strategically buy movement!
Oct 27 03:24:09 17m 22s Plague Friend's Deathly Journey ♥ 2 Darn, I want to play an even longer version so much! Your story, dialogue, gameplay, everything was spot-on!
Oct 27 03:54:14 30m 05s Lives you can save ♥ 2 Spectacularly made! I managed to kill off two people in the first two turns, oops! After 9 turns I had to stop to give my PC a charging break. This is really well-made, and I love the hand-drawn looking graphics! (I've made it known that I have a soft spot for games with a hand-drawn look) "Lives You Can Save" - how about "this game, we can save!" You just need one more rating! (Whenever mine go through...)
Oct 27 14:46:04 10h 51m The Loopy Wheel ♥ 2 Nicely done! There were some previously mentioned issues with spikes making a wall of guaranteed death, but the game was still fun!
Oct 30 04:08:23 61h 22m Dreamin' Cat ♥ 2 Fantastic! I love the cat and the fish, makes me think of Happy the Cat. Aye! The wall jumping in the very last room was almost impossible because of the cat's rectangular collision, but I managed to clear it eventually. I love how getting hurt has almost no penalty! And I need to know what's up with the jumpscare monster in the pitch-black hallway!!! That really got me, I didn't expect a sudden jumpscare! I need to know more of the story......... Too bad I'd never heard of your game until after the ratings period! I'll just rate now, 5/5 for everything. @oaksguard that is so true! This game was basically made for that emoji.
Oct 30 18:34:24 14h 26m Eloi's Adventure ♥ 3 Speedrun 5:30-ish. Can't upload the clip directly to ldjam.com
Nov 1 02:40:15 32h 05m Virtual Chicken Staring Contest ♥ 2 Take that, chicken! Effortless Easy win, eventually on Hard it got dark and didn't become bright again, five-ish minutes later still nothing has happened. I did like three minutes (total) on Hard without blinking before I realized it broke. (Well done! I don't know why the heck you only got 2.75 in Innovation.)
Nov 3 04:09:49 49h 29m Space Wrangler ♥ 1 I love this!
Nov 3 04:28:29 18m 40s Get in the Loop! ♥ 1 Holy cow. The happy and encouraging music, the rainbows and fish, the fantastic art, and yet... the objective is to kill yourself. Oh, the irony! That's some dark ironic humor. (Well done!)
Nov 3 04:53:58 25m 29s Heaven Slash ♥ 1 Fantastic! I really felt like I was playing a game from an old PC or perhaps something similar to a Famicom or Super Famicom! Too bad I never got to play this during the jam, I'll just say that it was 5/5 for everything. Please make sure to post a post about this if you make something like this next jam! I love these sort of retro games. Also, two questions. What's up with the missing .gif? And why can I start the game and advance through dialogue with a controller's A button, but I cannot use a controller for gameplay?
Nov 3 05:03:25 9m 27s Quantum Split ♥ 2 Fantastic! It really made me think. The game was short though, I want more!
Nov 3 05:13:05 9m 40s If you think about it, ain't a sling a murder loop? ♥ 1 Spectacular! Could use a leaderboard, I got 162.
Nov 3 06:18:47 1h 05m WHAT I SAW ♥ 1 Wow, this is unbelievable! The story is fantastic, the characters seem real, and you got some real good jumps out of me with the mirror jumpscares! At first I thought this would be yet another platformer. (Seriously, they're so easy to make. I made one, I played several dozen others...) And then, I got the horror vibes with those little floating guys. (AARRGGHH!! GO AWAY!!) And then you scared the life out of me when I learned that the slightly relaxed horror platformer ***happened TO HAVE A BOSS FIGHT!!*** 😱 Seriously, one of the best games I've ever played. You need to make a way longer version and get rich off of it. Too bad I didn't know this existed until after the jam! I noticed you have four gold trophies already, just go ahead and get another for creating this. 5/5! Expect to find a "you were mentioned..." notification in a day or so. (Still shaken from the boss fight. This is probably the second-scariest thing I've ever played/watched. I spent 10-20 minutes on the boss fight, and that much time later I'm still on edge.)
Nov 4 00:07:21 17h 48m Gravitron - 2047 ♥ 2 Fantastic! Too bad I didn't find this until after the jam. Very creative! The controller controls are perfect! The right stick camera adjustment felt like it could be slower at lower tilt angles though. Mt. Olympus was a bit too hard, you really challenged my FPS skills!
Nov 5 02:57:29 26h 50m Hell Glider ♥ 3 Great job in the rankings! The gameplay, concept, etc, was fantastic! However, I feel that the controls are horrid: WASD does nothing for the rope when you can use the mouse, wall jump was useless, and spreading your hand across the keyboard for Space jump was just awful compared to the possibility of W jump. Otherwise, great job
Nov 7 05:50:24 50h 52m Resurrection ♥ 2 I'm just going to note something. You've received countless comments making fun of your copy-and-paste game links, claiming you did nothing. Plus several people anonymously posted rude duplicates of your link comments just to make fun of you. It seems to people you're just being a rude spammer, but if they'd just scroll up, they'd see a little something that proves them all wrong... 128.5 Ratings Given!! I'd just like to say, I'm proud of how you really did go and play those games where you posted comments! It really ticks me off seeing those accusative comments that just insult you, and each one has like 20+ hearts. You were telling the truth and you really did use your comments as bookmarks. And you made a good game! I used Construct 2 Free Edition for a few years to hone my gamedev skills, I'm actually still a Construct user. (C3 upgrade) You did a really good job, and your art was superb!
Nov 11 20:25:44 110h 35m Pillars of Anguish ♥ 2 Hey everyone! I had a great time playing this game and ignoring the narrator's "press esc" trick. Here's an abstract-ish artwork I whipped up to celebrate 46th in Humor! (I have now learned I can draw with a controller in Paint 3D. I can actually draw a straight line! 😅😆) Pillars Of Anguish - Sketch.png
Nov 11 20:46:02 20m 18s Hoop Knight ♥ 2 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 9th?!? Congrats! Here's a gift for you! I'm no @doctorhummer , but I hope you still like this! Hoop Knight - Sketch.png
Nov 11 20:58:02 12m 00s Cycle Breakdown ♥ 2 1st in Fun sure isn't easy to get! I hope you like this sketch I made as a congratulatory gift! Cycle Breakdown - Sketch.png
Nov 17 05:41:41 128h 43m Action Loop ♥ 2 I wish this was longer... 😢 everything was perfect, it makes me sad I can complete it in a mere 2 to 3 minutes. PLEASE make a longer version!! A big thanks to @trexxak for recommending this!
Dec 1 04:59:49 335h 18m Loop ♥ 1 Is there actually a Lap 124 reward? (Fantastic game by the way, the 1st in Theme is well-deserved!) @moski tells the truth: that box really is pretty sus. I bet it killed Red and stuffed the corpse in the vent where no one can find it.
Dec 5 16:17:37 107h 17m Ace of Rope ♥ 2 Okay, I saw your post and now I've played through the whole post-jam version, and here are my thoughts. Wow. This is incredible. Unique mechanics, hilarious Super Paper Mario-style jokes and running gags, fantastic graphics, well-thought-out story, and a nice combination of bullet hells, RPGs, and shooting games. The bosses were very fun to fight, and you can tell the bosses are perfect when I ragequit but come back to Ace Of Rope just a few minutes later. (Honestly, I think Death was the hardest. That was the first point where I turned off self-damage.) The caribou were both flawlessly frustrating and very original, they made all sorts of fun puzzles. Also, I don't know if hiding off to the side in the Time Mansion fight to avoid every single vertical projectile was intentionally added as a cheat or not. I love all of the little details in the world, from seemingly useless jokes that turn up later, to the fact that the base of the save points actually turns into a software save button when you save. (And I didn't know that in her spare time Death plays Mario Kart and does DJ-ing. This game is educational.) My only complaint: I need a longer version! This is too good for me to stop playing! (So I'll probably go through the whole game again.) I beat this in probably no more than two and a half hours, and getting a cutscene of what happens after the game would be nice. I also suggest a Super Paper Mario-style approach, when you beat the game there are optional places you can go to for fighting and exploring, and some side quests just to help people out. (Because, honestly, I liked having to run around and fetch stuff. Strategic fighting is fun, too, too bad I can't do any more of it after clearing the game.) If I had found this game during the rating period, you would have scored some easy fives!
Dec 7 05:21:41 37h 04m Back And Forth ♥ 1 Goin' through some games to try to make the wait until April more bearable... > ...and please for everyone whos going to comment here don't tell me about copying vimlark idea thank you. You made a game inspired by Make The Way with some levels paying tribute to it. Yes, it does mean that Innovation took a hard hit, and people said you should have left Graphics since the graphics are from a free asset pack. You did leave credit, though. But this does not justify people posting anonymously just so they can make fun of you without being discovered. > ...This is a scam you made. - Anonymous > ...you knew this... - Anonymous > ...ripped off... - Anonymous The above quotes: that's just overly harsh hypocrisy. I mean, most game developers started out making some sort of remix of an existing game to learn how games work, and then they mock those who do/did the same. You're new to this, I get that! I mean, my first decent games were remixes of things such as Pong, Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros, etc. Saying that this is a guiltless ripoff of Make The Way is inaccurate, that's like saying that every platformer ever is a ripoff of Super Mario Bros if it has a world, enemies, and a goal. And I like how you paid tribute to Make The Way by recreating some levels. My advice: ignore that garbage from people who are trying to mock you and make you unhappy. **You made a game all by yourself.** I sincerely hope you continue to do game development! (Just maybe try changing things up a little if you pay tribute to a game. It's not like it's a crime to do it though.)
