Good concept, great graphics.. Well done
The graphics were good! I got lost embarrassingly fast, and it was a bit hard to tell what was interactable and what wasn't, but I might just be dumb. From what I saw, the monsters design was kinda basic, but it was made really well.
I couldn't tell what was interactable and what was not. Also I wasn't quite sure how this relates to the theme.
I can say however the graphics are beautiful so I'm giving you a 5 :star: on that one.
Graphics are impressive truly impressive for 72 hours! I don't know how you did that  Performance is quite bad and on my (older) laptop it's next to unplayable (on PC it's fine).
I liked the monster and the sounds it made were just scary enough to give me the creeps! Definitely a good job on that.
Wow the graphics are outstanding for such a short time! I had some performance issues, but i guess optimisation for older laptops shouldn't be required
The graphics and lighting are well done. The creature design looks fantastic with the legs on the wall and floor. I agree with a previous comment that the boxes should stand out a little from everything else.
The game is a bit easy, but very pretty. The monster seems to run into the wrong direction sometimes, which makes it even easier.
I had no major problems identifying the buttons, I just clicked everything that looked interactive and found the 3 pretty fast.
simply awesome graphics.. and well designed.
Nice graphics and creepy vibe. I, too, did not really know what was interactable, but I guess that part of finding out what to do. Tentacle Monster was cool, and he did sneak up on me once.
Well that was scary!Great graphics, could not find the loop concept but great looking game.
I love the visuals! There didn't seem to be a "loop" mechanic apart from the level itself, but good job!
Congrats on the art, pretty impressive for a 72h game jam!
Very gorgeous. You definitely nailed the horror mood and sound design. I always know it's horror when at some point I find myself saying "NOPE" aloud as I turn my character around and start running. Great job!
This is great even when my computer can't apparently render all the textures. (The levels are even darker) Was definitely like "Nope! Nope Nope and Nope! On the nope train to Nopesville!" I was briefly confused at first and then the ... whatever that is... appeared out of nowhere.
Very impressive art and overall mood of the game! The model and sfx of the monster is well done! I really like the maze of the level and appreciate the detail you put into it. Making it so some walls can be seen through with the cracks was a great design decision. I think the game could have benefited from some music to accompany the monster when it sees you to build that level of suspension. Additionally I think you guys decided to increase the usage of stamina while increasing the speed of the enemy it would definitely add to the suspense. Great job!
What an incredible game! I loved it, great job
gg -- graphics were absolutely beautiful like others mentioned, and personally I didn't have too hard of a time finding the interactables. I'll focus more on the graphics, since that seems like what you optimized your time for: If you end up extending this into something else, IMHO it would look awesome if the monster's tentacles' IK points stayed static on the walls within some range of the creature, and then when it moves out of range they arc forward onto a new point on the wall, giving a crawling kind of effect :D
Was it here that they asked for rating? = P great job with the graphics!
Great graphics and atmosphere! My only gripes: I think the monster was a bit too easy to maneuver around. I also spent a lot of time looking for a third lever not realizing it was actually a button. Other than that amazing work!
Yes, very good 3D art and audio atmosphere. Even if the theme is not really present (A close labyrinth is a standard), The ambience is very grim and the presence of the monster add a bit of stress at the beginning (But after figured out there's only one, it's easy to escape from him). First I didn't see very well the buttons. But once I activated one, the others were easy to find. So not really in the theme, but good work on the art for a Jam ;-)
@drprettypatty thanks for the review. Yes, having IK move like you describe was the initial intention. The monster even does this to a certain extent, but making this look organic proved to be quite challenging. The arcing forward motion is kinda difficult with a spider shaped creature. We kept the legs bright so this IK effect remains visible, but yeah there is always a next time. :)
It's a bit short once you figure out what you are looking for, but I was genuinely scared all the time.
I don't know what happens when the monster gets you and I don't want to know :D
Graphics look stunning. Some more atmospheric light would immerse me even more.
Hope to see more of it!
Wow, the graphics are incredible! The monster almost never left the area around its initial spot though, I had to go right up to it and then run away at the same speed as it to make it go anywhere.
