Great Game! I actually think that I will be keeping this on my computor!
Had a lot of fun with this one! Feels like there's potential for a rhythm element too.
@devparty Thanks so much! I hope you will! :) @somn So glad you enjoyed it man. Yes I'm looking into adding a rhythm element for the post jam version. Great suggestion!
Dig the minimal aesthetic! Everything feels very clean and smooth. I did have an issue running the web build in both Chrome and Firefox (on Windows) but the Windows build worked. I really like the concept, however I found that in practice, having the extra bottom two numpad rows made things really awkward since my keyboard doesn't have any bumps to identify which row you're on by feel. Even just using two rows would be better in my opinion, but honestly you could get by with even the top 3 only. As for the music, it was simple but fitting. I only made it to level 5, so idk if it changes at some point, but if it did change every X levels to show your progression, that would be really cool.
@guitarbro Thanks for the detailed feedback man, glad you enjoyed playing it. Sorry the Web version is having issues, I'll have to pin down why. Thanks for downloading the PC version though. I did toy with the idea of not using the full numpad; maybe I'll explore that for the post-jam version. And i'd definitely like to add some camera angle changes, changes in lighting, etc for when you move up in level. Hopefully I'll get all of that in during the next two weeks when I'm working on the post jam version. Thanks again for the feedback, I'll be sure to play your game asap!
Before anything, let me tell you I'm giving this project a good rating. Loved the game, very zen. But I want to adress some complications I had with the windows build, which I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end or in general.
Graphically, this is how the downloaded version looks to me:

And the web one looks like this instead:

The downloaded version is forever blooming and it was borderline impossible for me to tell the timing or even the colors of things. The web version was a lot more smooth in comparison. I enjoyed the looping theme a lot, the overall setting was a great combination of graphics and sound. Certainly enjoyable and calming! I ranked the game based on my best experience.
But yeah, otherwise, consider checking out what happens on the windows version. Who knows? It may be a problem on my own, but some other people might actually encounter similar problems. Anyhow, great work with it still! 🐳
Awesome game man, loved how something so simple could be so fun. Hope you continue working on this :D
Wow that was very difficult, quite relaxing just to focus on one color but trying to get all of them in only 2 loops was borderline impossible. I had the same blooming issue above in the browser but it only happened when I exited a run and replayed. Good job, enjoyed the calm atmosphere!
Nice and fun! I got 8th place before Chrome rejected the game. (I'm Kirito2031) Great game!
Nice! Looked beautiful, played nicely! Interesting mechanic, might indeed work better with some rhythm aspect as right now it felt like finger twister  . Unfortunately web version crashed (it was running fine before the crash though). Nonetheless, pretty nice!
Nice game, the minimalist look suits it well, the music is nice. It's a bit hard on the fingers to those combos in rapid succession. I got to 4th place. If you want more ratings, you should really rate other games and not just post on the front page.
This proved surprisingly difficult. Trying to keep track of all nine zones at once was a little too much for me to juggle and I kept pressing the wrong combinations, especially when trying to deal with the triples, but that's probably just me. The graphics and music were all very well done, and for a jam game, this is extremely well-presented. It even has what looks like a global high score board!
I think there might be some timing/detection issues: sometimes I was certain I'd pressed the right buttons, but the game said I hadn't and lowered my accuracy multiplier, and other times it looked like I'd pressed the right ones and my accuracy multiplier went up, but the blocks didn't disappear. It made it even worse for me to keep track of things. Nonetheless, I made it to Level 7 and 75,000pts before the game suffered a WebGL error and crashed on me.
Despite the niggling little issues, this is a very good game. It just needs some bug fixes and it'll be there.
Oh, and you should really rate other people's games as well. It'll give your own game much greater visibility, and allow you to reach 20 ratings much more easily. (I was also under the impression that you *needed* to rate 20 other games in order for your own to count in the final standings, but looking at your LD46 game, that no longer seems to be a requirement...)
Cool game.. looking at the thumbnail i thought it was similar to mine but it turned to be very different.. cool game though.. loved it man.. very hard keeping the precision up man
This is a really cool idea! Having 9 squares to keep track of made it challenging to plan but also allowed me to catch some squares and combinations that I might have otherwise missed. I played on a laptop without a numpad though, and I'm sure it would have been much easier if I had one. The presentation is great over all, really slick looking. with the music and minimal feedback I found the game almost meditative or relaxing, but I could also see how, with some tweaks to the speed and player feedback this could feel entirely the opposite and be quite frantic! Varying between those two feelings would be pretty interesting. I'm impressed you even have a leaderboard, it was fun to see where I ranked on it.
