Solar Trucker by peremily 2023-10-02T23:30:20Z
Idea of being space trucker is very cool, would be cool to mine the asteroids/ice in space too

This is a very fun one! Got only to a hundred score
Loved the stylish vehicle designs!
My mouse won't forgive me for what I did. Finger too ;D
It was quite fun, but I also was getting stuck sometimes
A funny self-harm game lol
It's easier when you fly backwards btw, for all my fellow self-harm ship commanders ;D
Very nice player feedback, idea is unique and implemented perfectly! I had fun while playing it and would like to see some more variation in the future :D (in Steam :D)
Mechanics in this game are really cool, as I love simulation games it just flows Great game to spend a ton of time in ;D
That was really fun, took me some time to figure out how to pickup stationary dudes ;D Visuals bring nice memories from the past Very nice!
Puzzle with very interesting mechanics, I had genuine fun playing it
I loved to strategize how to use the movement in the most safe ways, audio fits it very well
Sometimes game just flows easily, but randomly you can get clapped when 3 huge packs of enemies spawn at the same time around you
Great entry!
The final joke is funny.
My only complain is about controls. When in the menu you have to use the mouse to click buttons, but in the game you have to use keys to control the cursor. Would be nice to have consistency here
Otherwise a great idea and good implementation!
Moebius and tetris? Sounds nice indeed. Great visuals and chill gameplay. Would be great to have some interactions between building blocks too. Like imagine when you place block on top of another block - they are getting connected by some tubes
This auto-battler idea is fun.
I was lost for a bit wondering if my guns even do anything, as there is no VFX, but then saw the health numbers go down.
Cat gifs were unexpected, but I don't complain ;D
The characters and animations look awesome My gun stopped shooting after the first wave 3 times. Wondering if I missed something? WebGL player in ldjam didn't work properly (it cuts off some parts of the screen), but on itch everything worked perfectly
Hey, I think your link is broken " HTML5 (web) $$embed-23103.zip"
Damn thats a quite unique gameplay! And the cozy style fits it very well. I was getting stuck quite a lot, but it's a very good feeling when you finish the level
Fun idea and nice atmosphere, just a good experience all around
Very addictive game, haven't noticed how I got to the Victory ;D
Cool idea, I was ending up stuck way too many times!
Nice character model you got there! Due to spinning camera on platforms it was real complicated to speed run ;D
That was a lot of sweating for such small amount of pixels :D I enjoyed playing it! The gameover screen is to funny to get disappointed (I saw it too many times ngl)
Ahaahah, such a cool idea Game was very hard when I tried to play on this page without fullscreen, it just cut-off part of the playable area ;D
After I went into fullscreen, game became very fun! I like the popping sound when placing the road too!
A bit of guidance in game would help a lot I was quite lost when fish decided to sit on my farming land ;D It was a while until I figured out that I can remove fishe and get coins for that.
Once I figured how the game works I had fun there laughting about fishe attacking my weed Game idea is cool.
It feels very polished! I liked to play it so much that I returned here three times ;D
Woa, visuals are amazing! It got very repetative very soon, I would've liked to play this for longer
This is a very addictive game, love it.
I also was damaged when standing in the only empty square
But apart from this, game is very well made
Visuals, gameplay and voice lines are amazing Had a lot of fun here
WebGL version on this page is "404 Not Found" :( On windows gameplay is fun tho.
I really like the visuals here. And terrain editing is one of my favorite features in every game :D
Wow amazing game! Visuals and music/sound fit together really well
If progression could be a bit slower I would have even more fun
Would play in full version!
Your itch link is still password protected
This was a quite fun sumo idea ;D
First 5 runs I tried to evade enemies and it was kinda hard to win like that. Once I figured out that I can push enemies too - it became a lot more enjoyable ;D
Oh wow, it was so satisfying to spin very fast and still capture required objects :D I would've loved to play it longer if you would add more levels
And maybe some more object<>object interactions to add more complexity to later levels
The style of the game is awesome!
It was kinda complicated to navigate in all different UIs The idea and the visuals outweight everything tho :D
This was cool I wanted to play more, sadly there is only one level
Visuals are nice
Oh damn, I can spend infinite time here :O
Action game with puzzle game design is a very cool idea! Great execution also! The sound of cutting things is so satisfying
Woah the SFX when map tiles are tweening to final positions is just right, tickles the brain :D Great feedback on player actions, I missed what I needed to do, so I was just aimlessly clicking on the map placing thing after thing
But once I understood that I have to cover the full map - it clicked and I found such puzzle gameplay very fun
I had fun playing it. After 20 minutes it got quite repetative Would be cool to have different abilities from the chests (Maybe I just didn't make it far enough?)
Small bug when enemy wizard stays together with you in a cell is lil funny ;D
Idea is cool too, involves just enough strategy to keep interest
Oh damn, that was fun sliding around on the edge of the playfield :D I really wanted to fly out of the pit and slide my way on the open fields.
Gameplay is quite catchy, sound of sliding around is funny. Apart from one annoying thing (when you lose all your velocity when touch map border) it's addictive. Got up to score of 40!
I liked the athmosphere!
If there would be just a little bit of direction of what my mission is - that would help to get into the athmosphere even more
Monster looks cool also :D
I really wanted for the ship to take me on a journey ;D Nice idea and implementation. The voiceover felt right in place too
Woa, the athmosphere here is phenomenal, art is amazing
Controls are good once you figure it out A very solid game, loved it
Haha I loved the way you handled the case of player going away from the playing field ;D Cool rotation animation on the ship too
I would've added that when player crashes into obstacle, then camera doesn't stop immediately. It would dampen to 0 over a second
What a lovely personality of that antagonist (can it even be called like that? :D) And cool character designs (even for the sheeps!)
(What is the thing I'm pushing in the puzzle part? It looks kinda sus)
Looks great, dialogues are funny. When I found out that I can use my mouse the game became much more fun
Sounds are great, platformer mechanics are nice too ;D
Oh damn, this is very complicated, but too fun when you clap a ton of monsters in one sweep At first I was trying to survive without using the gun (I couldn't find the input for it).. it was not very good runs ;D
Cool version of idea of open-ish world with dungeons!
When I tried first time I thought I have to pick that instant stop upgrade and the game became really boring.
Second time it was way more fun and I could solve puzzles much faster! Great that the player can choose when and how to do challenges!
Same, "We couldn't find your page" on itch
Visuals are adorable! I was just looking at the bird all the time ;D
I loved the context dependent phrases too
I never knew I wanted some trippy racoon in my life But I did
A bit more defined visual style would help I imagine.
Awesome game, the controls for flying racoon are fun 4 distinct character types is great for variaty of situations you can throw at them
A very cool puzzle idea! Lovely visuals and a theme.
I noticed when playing for a long time - you end up placing the same seeds on the same places over and over. Also would be great to have a preview of which cells will get the ceeds, it's a bit of a guess game when you rotate the pattern right now.
I had a great time in the game anyway, this is really well done!
Those 2 pigeons were unexpected, but I don't disagree with the decision to put them there.
Loved the variaty of mechanics in the game, that green-red area got me quite stressed and pigeons helped me relax (I won't say what happened to them, maybe they survived)
Cool graphics and dialogues! Audio was a bit load, but is cool too!
I ended up dying very fast each run. A bit more breathe space would be nice, maybe that player could do something else between catastrophes?
Fellow lighthouse enjoyers! :D I think I am stuck in the itch version of the game, nothing was happening after I took control over the turret I liked the style tho!
Wooow, this is incredible Such a cool idea and implementation, this art style, music and the athmosphere in the game is just right
I had a big brain moment, where I had no use for the edit mode on one point due to how I placed some blocks before. This felt reaally good :D I also really like that you don't reset the world on character respawn, this would ruin the flow for me for sure.
Please make a full game out of it, I would play the hell out of it!
Ohhh, the idea that moving things can interact between each other is very cool. It took me quite some time until I found out about putting things into acid(?) Would love to play something like this on the steam deck
@antarian thanks for such comprehensive review!
I would say 30% of negative things are related to the last-hour optimizations (we had to rotate camera a bit more downwards, otherwise it would have just too much performance cost on WebGL on Macbooks, and make details toggled on islands by distance)
Other 30% is overscoping (so many characters with dialogues which you can start in any order, it was a lot of time to test how they work with each other, sounds and music came in literally 2 hours before we had to publish :D)
We are definetely thinking about expanding the game and improving player UX. Your comment goes on top of the feedback we collected!
@zubspace Thanks for the feedback!
The way how we came up with the idea was "island sounds like a limited space... what if ... there is a set of such limited spaces in a limited space?"
So we have a set of islands which are separated from the world by a broken lighthouse
WebGL version doesn't seem to react to any key presses after I clicked on play button in game. Windows version is working tho. That was interesting! I would continue playing it if it had more levels. Maybe with some traps/moving obstacles in the later levels? And maybe some more interactions between animals?
A very chill game with some good looking fishe.
I had a lot of fun toying with fishe :D
I had a good laugh, sadly I'm dead very soon after suicide ;D
Deep atmosphere (hehe), crispy visuals and some simple gameplay Good way to relax
The art style is great, sadly I got stuck at the first step :v I stepped on top of the quest mark and nothing happened, walked around the shop and came back to the quest mark and still nothing. Inventory screenshot looks too good, I would like to look at that fish over and over ;D
Wow! I loved the idea Fast paced shooter-puzzle is my jam :D UI style is great. Sounds fit it pretty well.
I just was quite lost when my battery went to 0 and I couldn't shoot. But then I found out that if I ride on the laser beam, then it's recharging. Also it was hard to understand what is a button in the game ;D Once I figured it out - it was a very nice experience. A bit of guidance would've helped with introduction
Cool idea and implementation
