LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Pipe Dream by aa4z2 2021-04-28T01:54:00Z

I wish you could swap out pipes for an additional cost to help manage new incoming pipes. I also thought the music was a bit loud and I'd love to be able to adjust that, but that's super minor.

Into Debt by darqweful 2021-04-30T00:38:27Z

I think the manual was a touch overwhelming at first, but I was able to meet all the goals! It was fun and a very complete experience. I also liked the way the everything way laid out!

Darwings by Solweak 2021-04-27T03:20:03Z

What a fun concept! It would be really nice to expand this out with more prompts. I loved the sound effects on the text boxes. I do with that the items you were supposed to remember we're interrupted, I was feeling the slightest bit stressed to make sure I recalled everything!

screen_1920x1080_0.jpg screen_1920x1080_1.jpg screen_1920x1080_2.jpg

Down Whale by notpjriavs 2021-04-27T03:43:16Z

Absolutely stunning art and very fun to play. I wasn't quite able to piece together how to efficiently refuel, but it was very fun anyway. If anyone gets a good strat, let me know! Over all, this game has a crazy amount of polish.

Graphite Journey by pnkvrt 2021-04-28T01:41:57Z

I loved the graphite drawings and how they were integrated. And the design of the main character was really cool. I do agree with some others that the music maybe doesn't fit. My main complaint is that I also got stuck into clumps of plants and had to restart to get out! All in all, though, great drawings and game!

Extreme Pizza Delivery by nicholassoen 2021-04-28T02:07:17Z

I personally wasn't a big fan of the floating, but this was fun! I had a good chuckle at the bird poop.

Lost Shrimp by Falcon_Lc 2021-04-27T03:26:14Z

I got a little confused with the inverted controls at the beginning and then was shocked to learn I could fight back! It was fun and cute, but a controls guide would be a good addition.

LD49 — Unstable

First Flight by defectivemelon 2021-10-09T00:44:33Z

This had the feeling of a very highly polished game. Great work.

Bad Ball Blob by huntthewumpus 2021-10-06T00:51:20Z

It was extremely playable and I liked the satisfying feeling of everything tumbling. I do think I technically knocked the blob over many times, but it wasn't counted within the 5 seconds. Maybe a longer settling time?

Cloudlands by Infraxion 2021-10-06T00:33:09Z

You really had me there. I busted out laughing. Love the sound effects, too. Looking forward to the full release. :P

Agnosia by Ziamor 2021-10-06T02:59:29Z

This was a fun one! I really liked it. A simple concept done well.

Horse Pile by Big Play Ben 2021-10-09T00:52:19Z

I'm fully in love with this fever dream of a game.

Arranging The Deckchairs by Jibberwocky 2021-10-06T23:25:22Z

I like the idea a lot. It was a bit frustrating to no be able to change directions once you pick up the chair, but this was fun!

Witch of the Warren by krummja 2021-10-06T01:20:01Z

@ljol3 The hints are in the story sections! Our apologies for the slow text. It was one of those things we meant to get to, but didn't.

Ludum Dare 49 - Wizard Typist by Cyber Puffin 2021-10-06T00:56:18Z

What a clever idea. Maybe to add some variation, you have to spell some of the objects backwards like Zatanna! I liked the charming art style as well.

UR TNT by ADerpyChickenStudios 2021-10-06T00:43:16Z

I also kept blowing myself up... But I loved the art. The actual explosion animation was cute, so I didn't mind triggering it constantly. :P

WHERE AM I by Guilherme Alt 2021-10-06T00:36:47Z

I did not see the do not play if easily spooked and got jump scared multiple times! Truly spooky.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

The Coup by Darylsteak 2022-04-05T23:36:07Z

This is such an interesting game. I really liked the military-intel theming. Be sure you survey everyone well, future players!

Sandwich Drop by Renge 2022-04-07T00:10:45Z

I had a lot of issues with the camera (stuttering and it seemed like my wasd and the mouse ones were fighting each other), but this game was fun as heck and above all: Very funny.

Bloons by Vindigo Black 2022-04-07T00:01:06Z

What a clever way to add personality with graphics without giving yourself too much to do! I also really liked the song. I wish that the intervals the bar moved with one key press was a bit smaller, it felt like I was in charge of an out of control car at times! Maybe that just adds to the vibe. :P

Space Ninja by mhorth 2022-04-09T01:18:57Z

I could only play once since this is so hard on my wrist, but it was so fun! Simple, fun and really slick looking. Also loved the Halo-inspired combo names. I thought I was doing so well until I looked a the leaderboard. @antoined73 You are a beast!!!

Always Dying by eggsscrambled 2022-04-09T01:43:11Z

I just wanted to say the jump sounds were incredibly satisfying.

SHUTTLECOCK: ARMAGEDDON by Nick Saulnier 2022-04-05T23:25:43Z

Your game is so fun, even if it reminded me I can't even be athletic in video games. I ended up playing several rounds. I highly enjoyed the alien trash talk. The name was also amusing.

The Gallows by Burn Tree 2022-04-09T01:27:27Z

Short and bittersweet. It kind of reminded me of Omori in some ways.

MOUSE&CAT by SethNerd 2022-04-06T00:05:11Z

Cute idea! I did notice that it would often hop on top of the box I made around the cheese. Since it doesn't eat down, I was able to "win". I don't know if that was intended!

Linda, it's time to go by DustyA29 2022-04-06T23:45:48Z

Pretty fun! After a few tries I got a decent strategy going. Felt great to cheat death! I personally saw the barriers as other souls I was sacrificing for my own survival!

LD53 — Delivery

Cannonball Courier 💥 by thomz12 2023-05-03T04:49:25Z

Once I got the hang of the timing of dropping packages, I have a lot of fun trying to upgrade everything to the max. Unfortunately, it kept crashing when trying to bring up the upgrade screen. I managed to max out 3 things and unlock 3 skins before I got a little frustrated with it. If that bug can be fixed, I can see myself getting sucked into this game for some time.

Theater of the Dead by bmacintosh 2023-05-09T04:29:20Z

I could have kept delivering orders for hours, honestly. I wish there was a garbage can. Instead, I had to make a pile of my mistakes and was forced to confront it every time I walked past, haha. The first time the rooms shuffled really threw me for a loop, but I ended up really liking how it kept the experience fresher. I agree with others that this could be fleshed out to something even more robust! I also enjoyed your voice contributions. I wish the music kept going, the silence was kind of a bummer after I was jamming along before.

Snail Mail by MartensCedric 2023-05-09T04:54:09Z

A fun puzzle game! The timers get real stressful, real fast, so it might not be suitable for the Sudoku kind of crowd. I really liked coordinating my various slime trails and repeating each level to ensure I don't miss a single delivery. I found the specifics of the puzzle solving very refreshing.

Finicky Delivery AI - ChatGPT Powers This Game! by DGSpitzer 2023-05-02T04:40:01Z

This was really fun! I used my microphone and it was able to pick the words up pretty good (there was one error that cost s tip, oh no!). I did notice that it wouldn't display the words of the recording if it was longer than the box, but it didn't end up mattering. Looks like the customer service voice has another use.

Perfect Pizza Pinball L(a)unch by Hybitous 2023-05-05T01:49:57Z

The laser is a lie! Don't let it fool you! In all seriousness, this was a pleasant way to pass some time. I think the ping pong nature of the pizza is a bit much. Some of my runs lasted minutes of pinball madness. I really liked the inclusion of the seagulls and pick off ingredients!

Daily-very by Fersyvanderzee 2023-05-09T05:05:22Z

Really cute little game. I managed a perfect score! I like the art quite a bit, but I'm partial to vector-y graphics. I wish that there was a 'Don't Deliver' button so I could proceed faster. For a more expanded version of the game, introducing more item types as you hit the store and partial deliveries could add complexity. I enjoyed my time testing this entry.

Storky McStorkface Express by Flying Dog Fish 2023-05-02T05:09:00Z

I'm not great at these types of games, but dang, the size of the course is quite unforgiving. It did give me plenty of opportunities to hear the incredible sound design. Honestly, people should try this game just for the sound effects. OWWAH!

Don't Chute the Messenger by DecadeDecaf 2023-05-06T05:40:20Z

I'm impressed at what art you were able to get out under your time constraints. Truly remarkable. I really liked the chutes and ladder concept. If I had a criticism, it would be and the RNG would often work out that I wasn't getting a lot of action with the chutes and ladders. All in all, a fantastic entry.

Pack 'Em Up by OgelGames 2023-05-02T05:18:18Z

I had headphones on and the truck sound was amazing with them. The game stressed me out! I didn't have any concept of how much time I actually had on the clock. I think something more obvious would be nice. That being said, I had a lot of fun desperately stacking as fast as I could.

Grav-O-Delivery by XeduR 2023-05-06T00:22:16Z

Similar to fabula, I was able to go from 9% to 45%. The first time I was just constantly hitting satellites. I never really did get a good feel for that timing, but I did get a lot better at navigating the planets. I wish the planets/orbiting bodies were a bit smaller in the window, since I got some false clicks on the web version from exiting the bounds of the game, whoops! All in all, though, I fun, relaxing game, just like it was on the tin!

DEVILivery by Blue Pin Studio 2023-05-02T04:25:36Z

I wish I had a bit more space to move around, but I enjoyed the ramp up in difficulty! I also loved the nerf gun darts.

DECRYPTOR by Bastinus Rex 2023-05-05T01:29:23Z

This was certainly going for mood! I also really enjoyed the final pylon puzzle. The stepping mechanic was very taxing. I found it aggravated some physical issues I have in my clicking arm at the end. I did like the little stomp in each step. Overall, the vibe was creepy and I enjoyed that.

Rail Blazer by alanxoc3 2023-05-03T03:36:18Z

What a fun time! It took me an incredibly dumb amount of time to realize some tiles cost more than others, which led to a lot of bankrupts while my map challenged mind tried to find places. But the game itself was interesting to play and I enjoyed playing it. We also used Godot 4 for our project and just abandoned the idea of a web build all together. It worked great on web on Windows in Firefox.

Stroke Stork by spyranteros 2023-05-06T05:03:39Z

Quite a high difficulty level here! I found the control of the stork a bit cumbersome. Perhaps this is on purpose for a glider feel! I did notice that when I full screened the game, it would not recognize the arrow keys. Simple and clean.

Order Up! by Fractal Flower Girl 2023-05-02T05:00:24Z

My goodness, the first couple levels made me think I was hot shit! The real killer was not accidentally brushing a table on your way to the right one. I loved the art style, it was so charming.

DO NOT OPEN THE LETTER by MarcoDeevil 2023-05-05T00:49:36Z

I followed the instructions to the letter! It was moody to walk around, I liked the lighting especially. When I was writing my letter, I was still walking around and talking when I used wasdf. Whoops! I used the desktop version so my letter might be properly passed on.

The Blind Pig 🐷 by LittleBlackDog 2023-05-03T03:21:20Z

I played the patched version. What a fun idea! I had a great time running around, filling orders. I wish the suspicion meter filled a bit more slowly or that the items were more centralized so I could hand out more items. The art was lovely. A good time in all!

Hear Ye! by krummja 2023-05-02T04:50:02Z

@mlists We have been calling those "no-toot" or "tootless" runs.

Hear Ye! by krummja 2023-05-02T04:52:10Z

@gerd The toots were inspired by some goofy panels in a historical romance webtoon. I just found it so funny. I'm glad you like it.

Hear Ye! by krummja 2023-05-03T04:23:04Z

Thank you all for your great comments and compliments on the art!

@ha-kuro Man, I did not realize it was possible to do that, but several people have hopped onto a bandit and tooted him away. A valid strat.

@rabbitaddix Thanks for the feedback on the toot range! We had toyed with the idea of holding down the toot for a bigger/longer range/stronger toot, but it ended up on the cutting room floor. Maybe in a future version of this game, we'll adjust that!

@jhax If you toot the enemies thrice, you can eliminate them. >:)

@jaffy Another piggy backer!

@braveskin We tried to ensure you could backtrack through the course to pick up missing pieces, but let us know where you got stuck and we can take a look at what went wrong.

@blue-pin-studio You should try tooting at the bandits! Some folks have enjoying riding them as well.

@alec-viera I'm so glad you enjoyed the tooting. We truly crafting the game around that idea, so it's very satisfying to know people are enjoying that aspect so much!

Hear Ye! by krummja 2023-05-06T05:45:21Z

@benskca I'm glad you enjoyed it! I hadn't thought about an indicator, but the programmer really wanted one. Turns out they were right!

@arsher Thanks for your feedback! When you say impact, do you mean visually or in some other indication? From the art standpoint, I'm curious how I can improve that.

@yusp Thanks for playing!

@rocktavious My inspiration was a mix of medieval drawings and playing cards. My thought was that it would have a lot of parchment vibes for the drawings to come to life on. I might've gone a but overboard on that! Thanks for your feedback.

Apocalypse Prime by ADerpyChickenStudios 2023-05-03T23:35:18Z

I had a fun time with this! I agree with the points by Colin about the stoppage at the beginning. I think this was probably out of scope, but a GPS kind of map would be cool. Also, when I ran out of stuff on the bars, the game just ended abruptly. I wasn't sure if it was crashing at first, so a game over screen would be great in future versions. All in all, though, I felt the frantic pacing of a delivery driver.

DreamLoom by lillatorp 2023-05-02T17:27:44Z

I made sure to play on mobile for this. It fit my phone nicely and felt like a nice way to pass time. I do wish there were more pictures instead of patterns. If you only got to see one line at a time, it would be quite satisfying to see the end result. The weaving version of an adult coloring book.

Stand and Deliver by rohanmoon 2023-05-02T04:48:42Z

An interesting idea, but I really feel like I should have bombed a lot more! That being said, this is a really fun spin on the prompt and I spent way too long crafting lame comebacks.

Rain On Their Parade! by TomasPraestholm 2023-05-05T00:32:30Z

Was a sweet and cozy game! Everything felt very polished. A hell of a curve ball when I had to start dodging carrots! A simple concept with simple gameplay that is highly elevated by the artwork.

Snail Mail by rkeele 2023-05-06T00:10:54Z

Straightforward, but well-made game. It was extremely frantic, the first round expertly lures you into a false sense of security. I could take or leave the stamping aspect, but it certainly compounds the crazy energy.

"I Do Extra Good!" by Flightyfelon 2023-05-03T03:51:12Z

I made a lot of people angry and set even more buildings on fire. I was terrible at steering, but a had a lot of fun shooting around and avoiding the huge crowds that wanted to explode me. I wish it was a bit easier to find my way back to the hub for more pickups, but eventually I made a big enough fire that I used that for a landmark. Great fun.

Lexicon by John Kisner 2023-05-03T04:04:38Z

This is such a cool game, but I got extremely frustrated restarting everything, every time. There would be a lot of clicking through just to get to the gameplay and back to clicking again if I messed up. But the actual drawing of the sounds and such was really interesting.

Mailman madness by Sebastiaan Wouters 2023-05-03T23:44:05Z

Man, those sound effects were so charming. I enjoyed playing this game, but I couldn't get past the second false wall level. I just couldn't turn around. Maybe I'm missing something? In any case, this game was super cute.

Fetch Quest Simulator by LonelyGameDev 2023-05-06T05:20:48Z

What a huge amount of work done for this jam! I did often get lost wandering around and died a great many times before I realized I could buy things. I wish when I when I talked to someone they would remind me of what I was doing, lol. It needs some nice background music because without it, the attack noises are quite jarring. Great work, though! Impressive, given the time constraints.

Dear Yekate by ohfacts 2023-05-09T03:54:08Z

A short and sweet experience. It took me a moment to realize I was not meant to use the trash cans, haha, but only a brief moment. Some gentle music would elevate this a lot. The opening/ending scenes were the more exceptional parts! Very enjoyable.

LD55 — Summoning

Summoning Circle Specialist by Jimbly 2024-04-20T04:11:36Z

Very cool idea, wish I was better at it! I wasn't really sure what I was doing at any point. I found myself wishing that there was some kind of tool tip (maybe I missed it? I got really tunnel visioned there, haha) for what each component was would have been nice. I had fun playing it, though and it felt very complete!

Spectral Fingers by boddiul 2024-04-22T04:08:01Z

How fun! I liked that we had to wrestle with the people to actually communicate. It took me a minute to catch on to the indicator, but that's mostly on me. Great little game.

The Magic Flute: Bee Proud of Me, Dad! by Carraka 2024-04-20T03:53:14Z

I ended up playing this game over half an hour, haha. I had a lot of fun! I wish I could have made more complex melodies as I gained more notes. I could have really given my dad a show! I'm not familiar with this genre of game, but I do wish the summons were gathered in some way that was more pleasing than the mass you sort of end up with. Awesome work, though.

Cooking Mana by Roitchie 2024-04-20T02:47:43Z

I was instantly attracted to a cooking mama style game! I had a hard time figuring out what the task was or how to complete it for a few of them, but I managed to clear all the levels anyhow. Maybe some more direction in what should be done would serve the game. I did enjoy it overall.

Tom Has Joined a Cult by LCStark 2024-04-22T03:48:02Z

A surprisingly steep learning curve for such a simple concept! You'd think the mouse buttons for movement would be intuitive, but I found it difficult instead. The toggles, as others have said, made it much better. And better still when I realized that I was meant to color in the line and not mark points, lol. It was fun once I got the hang of it. Great job, man!

Jim Brimstone: Devil Advocate by AploveStudio 2024-04-20T03:01:18Z

I was following this during the jam, excited to give it a try! Glad this popped up for me. Love the art. There was something a little funky to me personally about the rate of the text, but that could just be my particular reading speed. I also found the answers to be a little too easy. It would be neat if if tied up somehow at the verdict, rather than the same question BUT that seems like a huge ask in 72 hours. I had a great time running through this though, great job!

Chief Ghost Crazy Cooking Bonanza by yohadams 2024-04-22T03:53:48Z

This was so cute! A time or two I noticed it didn't pick up a key (it -shouldn't- be my keyboard, but I'm not above ruling that out), but mostly I was dinged for my poor typing skills. I think this would be a hit to expand out into a kid's education game.

Summoner Training Simulator by Brainbetter 2024-04-20T03:16:17Z

Man, what a tight little puzzle game. I can't say that I figured out the logic, but I enjoyed brute forcing each puzzle so much. I think it was really the sound design that made it so satisfying. That was a great thought.

LD57 — Depths

Depth of Field by Gao Ming 2025-04-09T04:30:16Z

That was so cute! Sorry that the poor woman had such a powerful bee allergy. I found it hard to track the little sucker, too. I did have a little bit of trouble seeing how fast the depth of field was changing, but this could be a skill issue. Great entry.

Scrab the Scrabbler by schadocalex 2025-04-09T04:44:14Z

Man, I wish I were good enough at words for the last level, it was quite the jump in points! But a fun idea and the diver was so cute. I didn't run into any errors and it played smoothly as well.

Depths: From the Crust to the Core by kr4ft3r 2025-04-08T03:35:41Z

Initially, I loved the idea. The sound suddenly kicking in and changing as you got deeper, the particles moving with the rock getting hotter, the factoids. However, the further you go, a few things happen. It starts to get pretty tedious with the scroll being your only interaction and the vast distances making the factoids that eventually drop off all together make the experience feel a bit unsatisfying. I do have, however, an even greater appreciation for how we live on the skin of an onion, though! Great effort.

Granny's Gotcha by Joscco 2025-04-10T03:37:12Z

A cute and sweet little puzzle game! I am not sure if you implemented the hotfix, but I was still able to break the puzzle by pulling things out of the top. I also agree with the comments wishing you could hold down down/up and for a more satisfying SFX. I enjoyed it overall, though, and I hope no one gets sick from the dead rat sweets!

Apnea by JulienLussiez 2025-04-09T04:26:10Z

What a smart idea. I was trying my hardest, but I don't think I have a very good lung capacity after all. I was so close to the 50 mark, but had to breathe just before surfacing. Great job.

Hole Punch by Michael Parrish 2025-04-07T19:16:52Z

This game was simple, but effective! It was such a a joy to play. Feeling panic from the audio as you get higher and higher and higher and then I forget how to type and dive-bomb! I attempted the keyboard smash method mentioned in these comments and I locked my computer and turned on my graphics card overlay, so maybe not the strat after all. :P

GUTS! by Jack12342 2025-04-08T03:51:12Z

I didn't think I'd be digested today! A very fun idea. Sometimes the camera would angle in such a way that I could only see inside the sushi model, but I was able to push through. Great entry. On a side note, I'm so worried that this dude has so many popsicle sticks and bottle caps in their stomach. And worms?! Very Osmosis Jones of you.

Stolen Heart by LyaMgtt 2025-04-07T20:54:06Z

I was confused a bit on how the enemy damages you since it happens so fast without accompanying notification. I did put it together by the end! I wasn't able to beat the last level with Magical Boy, but I might try again with others. The art style is super cute and fun.

A Call from the Void by Oinkle 2025-04-09T05:21:26Z

It took a while but I managed to beat it! It you get stuck the book has everything you need to solve everything, just run through the tool kit until it hits you. I think I'm def the audience for this game and I loved it!
