Ohh no the spirit is writing this comment... Booooooo....
very interesting take on the theme!
Very well made and the graphics are very good. I like the innovative gameplay that allows many development paths what also provoke a lot of fun playing. very well done success further
The gameplay here was surprisingly novel; I can't think of a lot of other contexts off the top of my head where you're "fighting" the game for precise placement of a cursor like this, and it's a pretty fun implementation of mouse controls for what's otherwise a narrative-focused game. I ended up developing some pretty dramatic strategies for swinging the planchette around to ensure it ended up where I wanted it to; anybody using a Ouija board in real life would probably have been scared stiff by how furiously it was moving around, but it made for a fun experience. Nice work!
The mechanics is pretty unusual and somehow innovative. Never seen games like this before. But the controls are too inconvenient.
How fun! I liked that we had to wrestle with the people to actually communicate. It took me a minute to catch on to the indicator, but that's mostly on me. Great little game.
Pretty original concept, frustrating to control - but then, I bet communicating from beyond this mortal realm is difficult! Well done.
I like the concept, it is very innovative. I also like the controls but I think there is something missing to make the game more interesting/fun
I had a lot of fun playing as bacccbdulehramanaltl from MffsqqpomiahNOYESesopppotamia! Quite hard to master on a phone, because your finger hides the screen, but it worked
This is my favorite submission for ld55. Good job!
Interesting idea! Was very tricky on a touchpad. I liked the audio - very atmospheric.
This is a solid entry! Very creative, well done!
This game was hard to play in the touchpad but was a hell-lotta fun.Fighting against the hands force was really tricky and the sound creates such a great atmosphere. Hope you get all the ratings you need before the deadline
That was a fun little experience!
When I got the date wrong and it said I was from the future I cracked a good laugh! I loved it. Hope you get the ratings in time! I'll try to **summon** a few friends to help!
Very cool! It's typical that this is the first game I play after moving from the stationary computer with a mouse to the laptop with a mousepad, but I powered through it anyway :')
Equal parts moody and humorous, with the silly dialogue and how messed up the words can get combined with atmospheric music and dark silhouettes.
Felt pretty good to play. I guess it would've been nice if the sudden resistance was telegraphed a bit more ahead of time as it went from being easy to move to immediately super difficult.
I didn't get the future year on my playthrough but I'm glad I saw the comment about it. Cool that you accounted for that as well.
Overall very cool, nicely done!
Loved the ambiance. The gameplay actually felt what I'd imagine a spirit would experience trying to move the damn thing while some of the kids are trolling each other xD. Very stylistic entry with a well executed concept, great work!
This is a great fun concept, I loved the stretchy arms and the sense of humor when you answered incorrectlyScreenshot from 2024-05-03 23-04-32.pngScreenshot from 2024-05-03 23-07-12.png
All round Great Work!
Cute little game, a bit frustrating to reach the outer letters but that adds to the experience for a short one-shot experience. Fun and well done.
Great work!
Oh, just something I forgot to add: Fullscreen would have prevented a few wrong clicks when near the edges. I did some wrong stuff while playing. In any case great work!
