Cute art :) The embedded version doesn't quite fit the window. The movement seems pretty good, though.
Interesting, missing a sound
Pretty big map for a small game jam! Great work :)
I found the game very interesting. One of the things that bothered me and got in the way is the npc talking to the collision, it ends up getting stuck. It would be nice if you only talk when you have interaction. The graphics are very simple, the opening screen could be better done. It would be nice if it had a logo and text that matches the art. But congratulations are in order, basically a postman from the Middle Ages. lol
@marcos-tulio-cavalcante thanks! yeah alot of those are just stuff I gave up on due to the fact I was tired out from working on the game that wasn't all that interesting in the first place so I just throw out a quick verison, which I do kinda regret
@lonelygamedev The idea is pretty cool, if better crafted and create an interesting plot it will be awesome.
Cool game! You nailed the Zelda style. Impressed with the size of the map for the amount of time given.
True to your word, it is indeed a fetch quest simulator lol. Having G be the key to press to use items was a bit inconvenient, maybe would have been better on spacebar or mouse click? Also there were a few times during the screen transition that an enemy spawned on top of the tile I was on which resulted in taking damage. All that being said, even though it's pretty simple, it still totally has Zelda vibes, so nice job in that regard.
What a huge amount of work done for this jam! I did often get lost wandering around and died a great many times before I realized I could buy things. I wish when I when I talked to someone they would remind me of what I was doing, lol. It needs some nice background music because without it, the attack noises are quite jarring. Great work, though! Impressive, given the time constraints.
@kinart thanks. During the game jam I turned off my internet to help me practically worked on it constantly without distraction's. So it sorta surprised my self more then anything especially considering how I made worse games in game jams that have a time limit of 1 week or longer. Feels really strange knowing I did all this in just 3 day's at most
Cool zelda like, i suggest you to use a pixellated/retro font, to make the all more homogenic and authentic. And add a music you can use free music in jam game if you credits the author and opt out the audio category (and it's already the case).
This is a neat Zelda clone! The map is surprisingly large. It needs a bit of polish, but this was really fun to play. Some music might be nice.
