LD49 — Unstable

Unstable Way Home by limered 2021-10-05T18:40:51Z

I couldn't quite figure out how to finish the game, I kept getting arrested :( I had a great time though, the artwork, sound and the silly physics made it a really hilarious experience :)

Pistolman by lekaleksay 2021-10-04T22:53:42Z

Quite a bizare experience, took me a minute to figure out what I was supposed to be doing (and also stop laughing at how hilarious the gun looks running around). Could definitely have done with some kind of instructions or tutorial, but was still entertaining to play through

Driving Blind by MildlyDisturbing 2021-10-05T18:22:32Z

First level seemed like the hardest, the rest were plenty of fun though! I really like the handling of the car, it's very satisfying when you really nail a corner. One of the levels (the one with 3 reflection barriers) I kinda cheesed by just driving out of the track and around to the finish :P Very neat concept though! Managed to finish all the levels :D

Weasel Words by eldogg 2021-10-05T21:10:48Z

I absolutely loved every second of this, I honestly can't give you guys enough praise! I got an F, I'm gonna blame me getting lost at one point and missing the painting in the first area :P

Baby Panda by publicidadeba 2021-10-06T12:15:34Z

Gameplay is super simple, but very addictive! Spent a good while playing, my high score was 1 minute 20 seconds :D My only suggestions would be have the game wait until the player presses a key to start the game, and then at the end show the player their high score until they press a key to play again. Great game though, love it :)

Wine Guy by johanhelsing 2021-10-04T22:42:51Z

Really neat concept and very well realised! I like the overall aesthetic, and I love that little glass clinking noise when the glass starts to wobble :P

Mech Mapper by theStoff 2021-10-06T11:19:16Z

Really fantastic concept and very well executed! I had a few physics stability issues from either building too big, think it was 15+ blocks, and I had a vehicle(?) with 2 flippers on which would clip into the ground when activated. Maybe the collision detection needs changing to continuous dynamic? Not sure, there should be an easy fix though! Other suggestions would be: make it so resetting keeps your creation so you can iterate on the design, maybe make it so you can set any key for activating the parts, the pause menu didn't seem to work for me for some reason? Other than that, everything comes across as really well polished and the overall presentation is great!

Alchemeow by Robert Li 2021-10-04T22:35:45Z

Definitely coming back to check this one out when the build works, the artwork looks fantastic!

Reactor Symphony by Strynion 2021-10-04T23:04:18Z

Absolutely love the aesthetic, has a really great feel to it! Gameplay is very challenging, or maybe my typing just sucks. As Surfa said above, definitely would benefit from having some kind of score tracking system or stats screen at the end to show how well(bad) you did

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

We Stole Aliens by grizeldi 2022-10-05T16:15:42Z

Love how you worked with the theme here, really awesome idea! After 5-6 tries I managed to get 2249 meters :D Really great work! If I was to suggest one feature, it would be a handbrake. Feel like some of the sharp corners would really benefit from it, and it'd feel badass doing slides too

It moved?.. by MadHumster 2022-10-03T22:38:22Z

Scared the Christ out of me this one did! Very well thought out and the atmosphere is great! I must be better at games than @mistagiggles 'cause I did it on my first try 😂

Choo Choo Crossing by Hydezeke 2022-10-05T15:16:51Z

This is an incredible piece of work right here! Wow, where do I start? Visually beautiful, fantastic audio, fun and frantic gameplay.. I could go on! 10/10

Get The Last Spot! by Russ Moonbase 2022-10-05T14:45:48Z

Fun little game! Didn't take me too long to complete. Feel like there's plenty of ideas for other levels with this, would be nice to see it fleshed out a little into a more complete title :) My main criticism would be having to wait for the replay to retry a level or go to the next level. Having space as skip and R as reset would be much appreciated! Other than that though, really enjoyed playing :)

Orb Golem by Filip Vannfält 2022-10-03T22:52:14Z

Really neat concept, I like it! I think it feels like it could have done with some extra time to be polished and the mechanics really nailed down. Found it a tad too difficult to complete, sadly. Definitely feels like an idea worth working on further though!

Grim Light by Forik 2022-10-05T16:36:47Z

Fantastic work, really enjoyed playing this :) I expected a charming and whimsical experience, but instead got something that looks charming and whimsical but is actually quite tense! Had a few moments where I was JUST on the edge of dying and managed to refill my lantern!

Please don't litter by KenForest 2022-10-05T15:49:41Z

That was incredible! Seriously dig the whole PS1 aesthetic and you really nailed it here, the whole mood of the game is fantastic, everything feels so ominous. Loved the boss battle, that was really unexpected, and the goose gave me a good chuckle. I expected the credits to feature more names, came as a shock when I saw you were the sole developer of this! Really incredible work! My only complaint would be that the movement feels a little too slidey, other than that though, loved every second of it!

Please don't litter by KenForest 2022-10-24T21:33:17Z

Well done my dude! Glad to see you got high ratings :D Very well deserved

Midnight Game Child by MistaGiggles 2022-10-05T16:05:46Z

Thank you so much for all the kind words and feedback, everyone! I'm glad people are enjoying my daft voice acting :joy: To address some of the feedback; the platformer was primarily my area of focus and I'd never made one before. I definitely agree that it could have controlled better, and the difficulty might be a bit too much at times. A little note though, the second and third level have some shortcuts in them by design, so once you've learnt the levels a bit you can skip some of it. Second level shortcut is kinda difficult though. I wanted the boss to be a bit more interesting but we really didn't have time to design an interesting fight, and a last minute change was to slow him down to try and keep the tension up with hiding from grandpa, but in hindsight it's just too slow now.

Dichotomy by StudioCherno 2022-10-03T23:05:39Z

What a unique concept, very well executed! Little bit difficult, and slightly annoying if you wanna take it slow but have to wait for the timer. Otherwise, really enjoyed it! Aesthetic is fantastic, and the sounds are amazing; they both complement each other really well!

There's a little bug if you press space when you're in control of your cube by the way, no biggie though, doesn't break gameplay I don't think

Lights Out by Zakroutil 2022-10-05T16:48:04Z

You owe me some fresh underwear

Perihelion by Fuse in a Bowl 2022-10-03T22:29:57Z

Amazing work! Really enjoyed playing this :) Art style is great, the movement feels great, and I love how you worked with the theme. Those particle effects are beautiful <3

Finished in 2:21.284 with 6 of the collectables. Are there more to find?

LD52 — Harvest

the farmer by haztro 2023-01-09T20:17:17Z

Really great atmosphere, love the sense of scale and the aesthetics :)

Harvest Doom by Sparrowson 2023-01-09T21:05:44Z

Incredibly ambitious, very impressed you guys pulled this off! Had fun doing the 2 playthroughs I did. First one we all won because we didn't know what was happening, second one I cracked on farming and luckily only got shot once so I managed to win :P

Honey Harvest by Lukas Boersma 2023-01-09T20:32:56Z

Really interesting game mechanics here; very much enjoy the challenge that comes from using your nectar to fly, and not being able to fly so well when you've got a lot of nectar. Very well thought out! Not so sure about the sound effects; the bee flap noise sounds like a wet quack, but it does keep me chuckling so thumbs up

Deep Harvest VII by Bloodfin 2023-01-09T21:35:07Z

I enjoyed playing this, very nice work :) Got some strong Iron Lung vibes from it! My main complaints would be the lack of subtitles and the lack of any sort of pay off at the end. Just feels like it kinda ends?

LD53 — Delivery

The Courier of Cobblecove by SleepyStudios 2023-05-13T16:42:49Z

Not a bad little game! Really like the pixel art :) Managed 7 deliveries before I got stumped and then accidentally deleted my inventory items by putting them on top of each other haha!

Good work though, really like it :)

Build-A-Delivery by shp 2023-05-13T16:54:26Z

Them some real satisfying vehicle physics right there! Core mechanics are great, had a blast playing! Don't really have any criticism apart from I wish there was just more content really, but given the time constraints I think you did an awesome job!

Rocket Fast Delivery by garlic 2023-05-13T17:12:48Z

Very fun movement mechanics! Had a lot of fun with this one :) Made it to round 17. Counters at the end are broken though, said I only made 125 coins and killed 0 robots?

I feel like the later stages had too many robots; nothing to do with it being too hard, but being too easy. They all sort of started to break down when there were over a certain amount. Not sure if it was the pathfinding that was buggered or something else, but it got to a point where I could stand still and not worry because pretty much all of them were stuck.

Really great game though!

LD54 — Limited Space

Little Cart of Junk by auxC 2023-10-04T10:22:08Z

Really solid little game! Great aesthetic, sound, and design! Everything feels incredibly polished, well done :) My only gripe was I REALLY struggled to throw things. Sometimes I could proper yeet things out of the way, other times (particularly when there was a pile of bath tubs) I couldn't get them to clear the cart. Maybe the difficulty ramps up a little too quickly too? The amount of junk in your path seems to increase faster than I could learn how to throw things, but maybe that's just a skill issue haha.

Overall, really great game though! I could easily see this becoming a fully fledged game with more objects, different carts, environments, and all that etc.

Packing by homeworld 2023-10-04T13:13:00Z

That was fantastic! Sadly had a bug on day 9 which left me with a missing box. It might have been around somewhere, but I didn't realise I could open doors until I started again so I could see the end :P

Really amazing atmosphere, voice acting fits the game nicely, the puzzles were just complicated enough to be satisfying without being frustrating (apart from day 9, I ended up squishing the boxes in until the game let me finish haha). Really love this PS1 style aesthetic too <3

Think it was day 5? The ~thing~ on that level... got me both times 😅

Seagull Island | L'île aux Goélands by Seb_degraff 2023-10-04T13:57:29Z

Wow, this game is beautiful. Very relaxing and incredibly enjoyable. I really love the attention to detail in this. Like the little seagulls landing on buildings, the grocer making a fruit and veg ship arrive, and my favourite that I found at the end of my last playthrough, the satellite dish adding more depth to the music.

Absolutely incredible entry to the game jam! Really impressive <3

Rafty Crab by kuviman 2023-10-04T18:50:18Z

I just played this on stream with you and it was hilarious 😂

Cosmic Cargo Chaos by Surfa 2023-10-04T19:55:46Z

Thank you for all of the feedback! It's nice to see so many positive comments :)

@frib I agree that the gameplay can become quite monotonous sometimes. I think its due to the random generation as it can make things too easy sometimes. Other times it can become incredibly frantic, which I feel is a lot more engaging and fun.

@baturinsky I've never played SS13 but I have seen quite a few videos in the past. I can see why it gives you those vibes! As for the tutorial, I threw it together in half an hour, and it was an hour before the deadline 😅 Definitely could have been worded better, but the gist of it is supposed to be that you will get a strike for disposing of cargo relevant to your current mission, but not other cargo or junk. You still lose wages for getting rid of other cargo though.

@tomknocker44 I like that it doesn't update, makes sure you're paying attention and not just playing on auto-pilot. I'm not sure if @surfa intended to make it update and just didn't get around to it. We didn't feel it was necessary for it to always be visible as you can see the objectives on the signs too.

Dogeon Survivor by Henno 2023-10-04T13:21:05Z

Wave 7 was my best after playing a good few times!

Really like the concept here, and the way the cards affect the arena size is a cool mechanic. Graphics are great, loving the art style!

Need for Space by Coro_yy 2023-10-04T13:38:50Z

I really like the core concept here, I think it's a great idea! Visuals are quite nice too. I feel like it would have looked nicer if you had slapped a skybox texture in, just like some cartoony looking clouds or something to make it feel a bit more cohesive. I couldn't finish the game unfortunately, and I think it just boils down to the fact that the cars physics are a little weird and unpredictable. I've only ever played around with vehicle physics in Unity before, and they were very difficult to get feeling good there, so I don't know what it's like for Unreal. The main issue I had was that as soon as one of my wheels went over an edge, for example one wheel leaves the edge of a flat tile, the car was basically stuck and couldn't be recovered in any way. I believe the game would be a lot more enjoyable if that one little thing was fixed. I say little, but I don't know how hard it would be to fix that!

Good game though, you folks have done a good job :)

Absolutely fantastic entry! I literally have zero criticisms for this one, really amazing work :D

Feng Shui Struggles by Nozomu57 2023-10-04T11:05:55Z

This is fantastic, loved every second of this! I would absolutely love to see a full game come out of this! I would definitely pay for a longer version.

I appreciate how intuitive the controls are once you get used to them. Really amazing work :)

"How the hell am I going to get that piano over there?! Unless I can... OH!" 🤣

FELL OUT by daveranan 2023-10-03T15:47:53Z

Really lovely little game! Visual style is great, really nice atmosphere, enjoyed the dialog with their little animations and the "voice acting" haha. I really appreciate these style of little adventures. My main criticisms would really just be small tweaks that could have been made that would make this game a lot easier to enjoy. I felt like the islands were a little too far apart, and some way of navigating in game would be nice. I would have given up if the map wasn't on the itchio page. I think just having a key bring up that exact picture of the map would have made a huge difference. Sprinting wouldn't have gone amiss either. I think my other feedback could most likely be chalked up to a lack of time really. Like some more sound effects would make everything feel a lot more polished, and the ending felt like you didn't have enough time to do what you wanted to.

I definitely enjoyed playing though! Well done on this one :)

LD55 — Summoning

Virtua Bob by MSolomon 2024-04-21T12:00:25Z

God damn, that was great! Really well polished, great game feel, and the humour is spot on! Love the voice acting

Crazy Court Summons by MistaGiggles 2024-04-16T09:48:46Z

Thanks for playing @hongqianh and thanks for the feedback :) We've adjusted the camera so it doesn't lurch around so extremely anymore, we don't want anyone to feel sick or dizzy playing our game!

Crazy Court Summons by MistaGiggles 2024-04-21T13:36:19Z

Thank you so much for the feedback, everyone! It's amazing to hear folks are having fun

Apologies to anyone who had a hard time finishing the game either due to difficulty or bugs. We didn't do as much play testing as we would have liked due to the game being rather ambitious for 3 amateur devs.

Given a bit more time, we definitely would have done more to prevent escaping the level and ensuring that everyone can at least finish. Other polish would have included improved handling and general feedback for what's happening ie. changing gears, and UI/menu improvements. Also I think showing the controls after you press play would have probably helped since some didn't realise there's a reset/reverse key

GOBLIN VS FROG by omphh 2024-04-16T10:11:55Z

Really enjoyed this, had a good laugh :D Impressive work for a solo project, well done! That drawing minigame is brutal! The first shape it asked me to draw was the pentagram  Also, the duelling minigame, I misunderstood the rules and just shot straight away and it said I won, pretty sure it's bugged. I played it properly the next 2 times it showed up, but after that I just started firing as soon as I could haha! Nice game though :)

TANKZ by Funday Games 2024-04-16T10:03:23Z

Absolutely phenomenal entry! Love the aesthetic, from the models and lighting to the shaders and animations. Sound design is well thought out too, and the gameplay is simple but very satisfying. I could easily see this as a complete game with a more fleshed out building summoning mechanic and more content. Absolutely amazing for only 3 days work!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Nano - Nautica by nopogo 2024-10-11T17:50:53Z

Took me a little bit to get used to the controls and how everything worked, but once I got the hang of it, I found it quite satisfying to control! Very neat little game, I like it :) I would say it is a little bare-bones, but you definitely made up for that in how polished it all feels.

Re-Bot by Iluvatar 2024-10-11T18:05:46Z

That was awesome, I loved it

HAIRDIVERS by Surfa 2024-10-08T15:17:26Z

Thank you all so much for the feedback! It's really amazing to hear how much people like our game

@alyxx116 Yeah, it definitely is very frustrating when you get surrounded. I wish we had a bit more time to add some sort of pushback powerup or something as a last ditch effort to not die in a mosh pit of headlice

@obliterine The care package DEFINITELY can go out of bounds... We should have done something about this but felt it wasn't quite as high priority as some of the other tasks at the time.

@martta Is it definitely shader compilation? We noticed the hangs when loading but presumed it was when new sounds were being loaded in. We tried to fix the problem but couldn't dedicate any more time to it unfortunately :frowning2:

@bobap The difficulty definitely is quite RNG. I was responsible for trying to balance difficulty and I tried very hard to make sure you would always get useful supply drops. It's almost there but sadly sometimes it seems you're just destined to not be able to win...

LD59 — Signal

The Hunt for Red April by XeduR 2026-04-22T11:28:26Z

I really really REALLY tried but I find the game too difficult :(

The art, sounds and atmosphere are great though, and I really love the whole concept! It's quite tense trying to balance pinging to see your environment with sneaking through and avoiding the other subs. It's also a little frustrating that they can go right through obstacles.

I would LOVE to see a polished and fleshed out version of this though, the core gameplay is awesome

Dicebound by Derly 2026-04-22T11:52:03Z

Wow, that was incredibly satisfying! Great art, sound and gameplay. I only really have one genuine complaint: I really wish there was a stats screen at the end so I could see, at least, how many rounds I played. Would have been cool to see everyone sharing how far they got etc. Amazing work though!

DROWNED OUTPOST by SHU WEN 2026-04-22T11:10:51Z

Very awesome game! The art, atmosphere, sounds, music and gameplay all compliment each other incredibly well. I felt very spooked! There is very little to criticize here, but if I had to; I basically never touched the signal wave at the bottom left, I wasn't entirely sure how to use it to be honest, and I think the ending cinematic was probably the weakest part of all the artwork, even though it was still very well done (also the music felt a little out of place considering how dark and eerie everything else was). But that's me trying to be critical, because everything else is so well done. I would genuinely love to see how this concept could be fleshed out some more, it feels like it has a lot of potential!

Overall, genuinely incredible work, had a blast playing through it twice :) Night 3 is hard, wanted to get 0 mistakes but still ended with 2

Flaglot by CodeAprèsMinuit 2026-04-22T10:35:02Z

Very cool to see a Pico8 game on here! Interesting concept, I like the art and the sounds :) I was a little confused to begin with but I managed to figure it out. It's a shame you couldn't get the goblins implemented, it feels like it would have made grabbing the flags much more engaging!
