Huh, that's strange. I was in a rush during testing, I must've missed something. Sorry about that!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to play the game, it wouldn't launch :<
Upon starting, the game drops you in and gets straight to the point. The waves are quite hard as lots spawn in at once.
Overall good submission.
At first I was confused as to what to do, got the hang of it, get fish.
I love the art style, the physics are strange but can be twisted to aid you can be quite fun.
Overall: good entry.
Alos, @edgelord I have Mac/Linux builds avalible: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/we-need-space
Hey, godda get the entry around some how :joy:
Very addictive, this game is amazing! I highly recommend you check this out, the level really make you think and the gameplay is geniously designed!
Great job, I mean it!!
3D Teteris! Personally I actually enjoyed playing this, something about it satisfys apart of me.
Only issue: Music is very loud
Other than that, give it a try!
Very addictive! The cartoonic shader was nice too, unfortunately I encountered a bug more than once, I had to push the opposite way to which the bug dragged me to stand still, if I let go it would push me off the edge :<
Other than that, I recommend this game to kill some time! My highscore standing still due to bug: 2581
Challenging, makes you think. Great game, love the art style. I recommend giving this a go!
If you like reading, this is the game for you. Nice story and interesting idea.
"I am from the city of Bradford" - Ghandi 1230BC
Updated the link, sorry about that!
The point is the colonise as many planets as possible, I wanted to make the goal more in-depth but I was out of time and was hoping the PG would make up for it, I always find myself wondering what might be in the next system...
A bunch of colliding planets? A strange planet? etc.
Thanks for your feeback though :D
Wish I had more time, there's so much more I could've/wanted to do, thanks for the feedback though :D
If the Mac/Linux versions aren't working, send me any errors over on Discord @ BigJiggly#1124, I'll get them fixed asap so you can try this game out!
I had to cut back a lot, I put most of my time in to the code, the UI could defo use some re-working, and as I finished for the compo, I had the idea of better gameplay but had 0 time to do any of it.
Thanks for playing this though, I really appriciate it : D
Space is lonely my friend...I had to cut back a lot which sucks, thanks for your feedback though, I really appriciate it
On it now @cookiengineer
@cookiengineer Updated the linux version to support both 32 bit and 64 bit.

Woah...Why is there 6 versions of that comment?
Ahh! I know the issue, it's on my end, I've built the mac/linux version for a different version of Unity! Thanks for sharing that error message, I'll fix it and we'll see if it fixes both versions! :D
@cookiengineer try it now, I've re-built them in to correct version :fingers_crossed:
@tuism try the mac version now
The cursor should be a taget looking thing, it's small but there, that red arrow is indicating that you should press "Credits and information"
Sorry if the arrow looked like the cursor, probably should've made it more apaprent that it was an indicator xD
I did the cursor last minute and it was being fidgety, sorry about that :joy:
Yeah, after the jam's done, I'll let everyone download the full project, I have a reason but don't worry I'm not a selfish-dev, I believe that helping others learn can make way for better products :D
Screw it, you can now download it.
Oh damn, that was a long time ago...My steam name is BigJigglyNutSack2, that weebly thing was well, a phase.
I'm probably going to change a LOT of what the game is now if I do work on it outside of LD, but whatever state it's in now, feel free to do whatever with it.
Credit me if you re-use things though, don't have to but it would be highly appriciated :D
Also @cookiengineer thanks for playing the game, if it wasn't for you I probably wouldn't have gotten the Linux/Mac version working!

@borjan1peovski Wish I could've added that tutorial, unfortunately I made it with 8 minutes left of the compo
@cookiengineer @edgelord working on the WebGL version for simplicity, I hate downloading things so I want it to be as streamline as possible for all.
I've fixed the cursor and an issue with the dynamic actions menu, and I think some scaling issues.
Sorry for the inconvenience, Unity for some reason offsetted the cursor in the Editor which is why I did that :grinning:
@djibess the Web version ran fine for myself, though I did only one test which worked fine, I'll test it again, though I do HIGHLY recommend downloading a build.
@mshopf I had to cut features a lot, and I published it with 8 minutes of the compo left...Terraforming does what it does in real life, makes the planet habitable for life, which would allow you to colonise it.
I apologise for the bad scaling of the UI, I spent most of my time on the code and scaling slipped my mind.
The goal is to colonise as many planets as possible. I'll edit the desc and make it clear

I fixed it yesterday but due to rules I can't upload more than bug fixes
@agecaf :heart:
@bloodyaugust damn that sucks! I really enjoyed making this, but as others are commenting, it's missing a bit of stuff due to me having to cut a lot of stuff out, hope you're able to look past that and enjoy it! :grimacing:
Well, in the beginning it was confusing but I got the hang of it quickly! Apparently the Mars colony really want my researchers, they wouldn't stop pestering me.
Overall: Good game, confusing but you get used to it.
I love this game, the gameplay is very addictive! I love the idea and everything is just so smooth!!
Overall: great game, please give it a try!!!
Fun game, addctive and unique! I love the gameplay and think it's actually hilarious :joy:
Gameplay was fun, controls feel great and combat is addictive, great work!
Love the art style, as Ng said, it's hard to depict where it's going to shoot as the z axis is none existent on the character.
Other than that, great game!
Tutorial is quick and you can swiftyly get a hang of what the controls are.
Takes a while to progress, if you have time to spare, play this. It's more of a click-sim than anything, click at the right time and the game will progress.
The movement feels icy, in other words, very slippery. The goal of the game is a tad boring and I'm not sure how it fits with the theme.
This is just my opinion, I recommend giving the game a try for yourself.
I didn't need planks lol, I just ran and only got killed when I missed the path and hit a wall
Movement feels very off, art is aight, overall: great idea, with more time it could've been executed a bit better.
I completed the game in under a minute apparently? Not sure how it fits with the theme.
The camera is strange, the combat feels okay.
With some polishing this game could become something amazing!
Ahh, I just held W+D and realised you didn't normalize it so I got a speed boost and was able to defeat the boss without dying.
The art is beautifully done. It bugged me having to restart from the beginning each death but meh.
Overall, this game is worth a play.
Can get repetitive, love the art style.
Overall: Alright.
Sea didn't rise? I just stood there and watched things fall...
Bugs:
R fails game instantly.
Overall:
Broken.
...Where do I start? The art is amazing quality, gameplay makes sense, background music is soothing and the characters voice fits?
I enjoyed playing this, please give this game a try!!
Umm, I think we had the same idea lmao https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/we-need-space
Good job though, I noticed our gas planet textures are very similar, I knew I should've made more but the compo ended :joy:
I published it with 8 minutes of the Compo left, right after it was done I got a great idea for new gameplay mechanics but no time to implement them.
I got my inspiriation from Saturn :joy:
Game crashed on death lol, other than that I was a tad confused, but if this game had more time, it could become something amazing!
Relaxing, confusing at first but you get the hang of it. Love the art style, great work!
If space raiders was on LSD this would be the resulting trip. I recommend giving this a try.
Movement is a tad janky but other than that it's a good submission! Great job
Chill game, love the pick up sound, very satisfying.
The screen tearing was a bit of an iusue though.
Overall: great submission, very chilled.
Was confused about what to do but eventually got the hang of it. The placing was a bit buggy, overall it's okay, with time and a bit mor epolish, it could've been really entertaining.
No way to avoid enclosure, no health reference.
Overall the game was good, could use some polishing!
for a first entry you did a great job! :D
Couldn't get past the first part, I tried and tried and tried...
Art is great, loving the style.
Gameplay is alright.
Overall, if it had more time, it could've been better, I had no idea what I was doing at first glance and couldn't make it out of the start area even after a good ammount of attempts :<
At first I was confused as I didn't see any controls/help but after a few button spams I got it.
The game is simple yet addictive, I love how you can stack and move boxes around, you really have to manage where you put them and pay attention to one of them dropping on the road.
My highscore was close to Gruni's, great game, consider downloading and playing!
Great concept, I encountered a lot of bugs:
"Next Level" broke after a couple levels I couldnt change the gfx quality on a 1920x1080p monitor (scaling is off) installer wouldn't run till the 5th try.
other than that, the game, if given more time, would actually be a pretty neat game! Great job man!!
Hope my feedback is helpful!
Glad I could be of help :D
Art style is very smooth looking, the gameplay at first was confusing but eventually I got it.
I experienced a overlapping issue with the white-boc thing and the closing in walls.
The Red team stood there and did nothing, I couldn't play it because I had no idea what was going on...
Very confusing, not exactly sure what I was supposed to do.
The picel art is animated very nicely, the gameplay is to th epoint and fits the theme greatly, overall the key feature is that you can...Turn down the volume...I listen to music all the time so when I have to pause it I get annoyed.
In all seriousness though, great entry, worth checking out.
Start was funny, I'll give you that.
I had no idea what I was doing, I spammed buttons and eventually learned the controls, I stood there and spammed W and it seemed to work :joy:
Overall: Strange yet funny game, I recommend giving it a try.
Actually pretty addictive, the music was loud but other than that great job! I might keep this one on my desktop to kill some time with.
Love the movement, very bouncy and smooth, the retro sounds sound really nice, though I wish you could 'dispose' of the alien bodies
Simple game yet fun, not sure why but there's omething satisfying about deleting files...
Interesting game!
Quite addictive, destroying the asteroids is surprisingly satisfying, unfortunately, once the spawn delay reaches aroun 20/sec there's no possible way to win.
I enjoyed this and given more time to polish, it would be a very addictive game!
Strange but fun entry, not seen anything like this so far.
Though at first I was pretty confused...BUT, eventually I got the gist of it.
Great game, fun to play. I love the idea of flying junk in to the sun!
