| Oct 19 08:44:50 | Pinball Mechanic Mania | ♥ 1 | Love the idea of a pinball deckbuilder: building your own table between runs is a great hook. A couple of things held me back. The game took quite a while to load, and the first screen drops you straight into the shop with 6 coins, so I didn't really know what I was buying or why. Letting the player launch a first ball right away and opening the shop after it would make the loop click much faster. The pixel art is clean and readable. Nice entry, good luck! | |
| Oct 19 08:50:39 | 5m 49s | Full Steam Ahead! | ♥ 1 | Really charming! The captain's lines made me smile, the pixel art is clean and the shovel-and-steer loop is easy to get into. It's a lovely little clicker, I kept wanting to shovel just a bit more. The moment the game reveals what it really is was a great surprise. Solid, polished compo entry, well done! |
| Oct 19 08:52:32 | 1m 53s | Snake Boy | ♥ 1 | Clean Game Boy look and the snake controls feel right. The power-downs are the most interesting part: trading a bigger score for inverted controls or extra speed is a nice risk-reward idea. I'd push it much further, because right now it still plays mostly like classic Snake, and more and weirder power-downs could make it feel like its own game. Nice work for a compo! |
| Oct 19 08:53:38 | 1m 06s | HOLLERITH | ♥ 1 | Love the historical premise, punch cards and the 1890 census are a perfect fit for the theme, and the machine with all its dials looks great. For me the sorting itself felt like pure arithmetic under time pressure, though, and I was missing a reason to care about each card. Tying the cards to the people behind them, a story beat or a consequence for a wrong sort could turn the math into tension. A cool, well-researched idea! |
| Oct 19 08:57:39 | 4m 01s | Old Man Playing Old Game | ♥ 0 | The framing is the star here: Mr. Oldman lying there with his belly out, finally trying to beat the game from his childhood, is genuinely funny and a lovely take on Old Tech. The style and humor carry it. The platformer inside felt fairly familiar to me, though, so it reads more like a great little performance than a game I'd keep playing. If the old man's world and the game on the screen influenced each other more, it could really sing. Great job on your 2nd Compo! |
| Oct 19 10:54:59 | 1h 57m | Skyrail Postmaster | ♥ 2 | This is so charming and so polished! The art, the UI and the little characters feel like a finished cozy game, not a jam entry. Sorting the post by stamp color is simple, but the gossip and the islanders make every bag feel personal, and the unsigned lavender letter is a lovely hook. One of my favorites so far, great job! |
| Oct 19 10:56:00 | 1m 01s | Merry & Bright & CRI ≥ 95 | ♥ 0 | Loved this one! The hand-drawn notebook style is gorgeous and has so much personality, and the premise of replacing garish blue LEDs with warm vintage bulbs made me laugh. The puzzle is clever: it looks like a simple coloring task, but limited bulbs make you actually think. Easily one of the most memorable compo entries I've played. Great work! |
| Oct 19 10:56:48 | 48s | Hotline BBS | ♥ 1 | What a look! The amber CRT glow gives it a real Hotline Miami vibe, and the whole screen feels like a machine from 1992. As an idle game it's calm and easy to read, though the start is a bit slow: it takes a while before the first purchase, so an early cheap upgrade or a faster first minute would hook players sooner. Gorgeous pixel work, well done! |
| Oct 19 10:57:37 | 49s | DECLIVIS | ♥ 1 | A really original puzzle idea: elevation as the cost of every step, one trip to gather all the stone, and aqueducts that must always flow downhill is a smart, very Roman set of rules. My main struggle was reading the map: heights are shown only by tile color, so it took me a while to see what was higher or lower. A legend, height numbers on hover or a tiny tutorial map would make it click much faster. Cool take on the theme! |
| Oct 19 10:58:18 | 41s | Sound of Night | ♥ 1 | Learning Morse code to unravel a mystery is a great fit for Old Tech, and I love that the game actually teaches it from scratch. I could only play the opening without sound, so I've left Fun and Audio unrated rather than guess. From what I saw, the tutorial text types out quite slowly; letting a click finish the line would make the first minutes snappier. Nice idea! |
| Oct 19 11:10:45 | 12m 27s | Stitch, Snip, Ship | ♥ 2 | The presentation is fantastic: the menu where you literally cut your order out of the cloth, the hand, the thread and the bold cartoon style all feel great. Gameplay-wise it reminded me a lot of the recent dress-making games, so it didn't feel very new to me, and like others I found the orders a bit tight on time. A twist of your own on the sewing loop would make it stand out more. Very polished compo entry! |
| Oct 19 11:11:42 | 57s | Polasnap | ♥ 1 | A nice spin on Pokemon Snap: eight shots of film, clear assignments and a secret SS ending is a great little loop for a jam. The pixel art meadow and monsters are charming and the brief makes it instantly clear what to do. For me it was pleasant rather than gripping, a bit more surprise from the monsters or the meadow could make each run feel different. Cute entry, good job! |
| Oct 19 11:12:40 | 58s | Scrap Treasure | ♥ 0 | Love the idea of a workshop where you take old gadgets apart and rebuild something new, it's a great fit for Old Tech and the voxel workbench looks nice. Unfortunately I got stuck at the very start: clicking and dragging the remote didn't seem to do anything and I couldn't work out the first step. A short guided first order or a hint on what to click would help a lot. There's a cool game in here! |
| Oct 19 11:15:14 | 2m 34s | Medieval Hotline | ♥ 1 | A medieval telephone operator is such a witty idea, and the hand-drawn kingdom map is lovely. The calls made me smile ("Poor people are too wealthy, rich people are unhappy!"). One problem on my side: on a 1366x768 laptop screen the game is taller than the browser window, so the switchboard ended up below the visible area and I couldn't connect a single call, even after zooming the page out. Scaling the game to fit the window would make sure everyone can play it. Looking forward to trying it properly! |
| Oct 19 11:26:02 | 10m 48s | Payphone | ♥ 1 | Wonderful atmosphere: a red phone box in thick fog, seven coins, an address book and the Yellow Pages is such an evocative Old Tech setup. I struggled with the controls in the browser though: the mouse-look grabbed my cursor and flipped the view, so I never really settled in to dial a number. An option to look around without pointer lock, or a fixed close-up of the phone, would help a lot. Love the mood! |
| Oct 19 11:31:32 | 5m 30s | Punch Card Patterns | ♥ 0 | Neat little puzzle! Building a pattern that repeats down the card is a smart way to make punch cards into a game, and the second level with alternating rows made it click for me right away. The card flying past and printing looks nice, but waiting for the whole animation between levels slowed the flow, a way to skip it would help. Clean and easy to understand, nice work! |
| Oct 19 11:34:19 | 2m 47s | Blokia Designer | ♥ 2 | This is amazing for a jam! The BIOS boot and the Fenestra 98 desktop with e-mail, finance and market windows nail the year-2000 vibe, and the phone designer is genuinely deep: dragging keys and speakers onto the body while the design checker tells you "the speaker must be above the screen (teens don't mind)" is great feedback. The 3310-style ringtone composer and pixel wallpaper editor are lovely touches. One of the most complete entries I've seen, great job! |
| Oct 19 11:36:07 | 1m 48s | Die, Next Die | ♥ 1 | Solid dice roguelike core: left-click to attack, right-click to defend and discarding at an AP cost is easy to learn and gives real choices each turn, and the initiative roll is a nice touch. The CRT dungeon look fits the old-tech mood. The pace between turns felt slow for me, so speeding up the enemy turn by default would help. The connection to the Old Tech theme isn't very clear in the game itself. Good work! |
| Oct 19 11:38:07 | 2m 00s | Primitive Logistics | ♥ 1 | Love the joke at the heart of this: moving an old robot with the oldest logistics tech there is, logs as rollers. The hand-drawn look with the swirly sun and ruined city is gorgeous and the menu-as-a-board fits perfectly. I only got through the very start: on my side tapping Space didn't seem to move the pallet much, so a clearer hint on whether to hold or tap (and where to drag the logs) on the first checkpoint would help. Lovely idea! |
| Oct 19 11:39:41 | 1m 34s | Tech Tree the Game : Car edition | ♥ 0 | Nice concept: prototyping a car from a tech tree, where each part pushes stats up and down and building a model reveals new technologies, is a fun little design puzzle. The +++/- notation is clear once the tutorial explains it. Visually it's very bare right now, and some feedback on the car itself (a drawing that changes with the parts, or a short review after each prototype) would make each build feel more rewarding. Good base to expand! |
| Oct 19 11:41:46 | 2m 05s | Reinvent the Wheel | ♥ 1 | The synthwave grid with a wooden wheel rolling across it is a great clash of old and new, and "FLATTENED - The wheel isn't THAT great. Invent something better!" made me laugh. I got flattened very quickly though and wasn't sure what I was supposed to do to keep the wheel stable, so a short explanation of the controls and the stability bar before the first run would help a lot. Fun idea! |
| Oct 19 11:43:02 | 1m 16s | JIJI TD | ♥ 2 | Really pretty art: the desert ruins, the carved glyphs that light up on the ground and the big mask panel give it a strong identity, and the little intro dialogue sets the scene nicely. I struggled with the controls though: I couldn't figure out how to place the stone pieces on the slots before the first wave arrived. A highlighted first placement or a one-line hint would make the start much smoother. Nice look! |
| Oct 19 11:48:23 | 5m 21s | Virus Killer | ♥ 1 | Loved this! Clippy as the helpful assistant, the Minesweeper mine as the virus, the terminal where you actually type touch helloworld.txt, and the Windows 95 "Level Completed" dialog with folders all land perfectly. Typing real commands to defend the CPU is a really fresh take on tower defense. One small thing: my first touch got "unknown command" because I hadn't selected a tile yet, a hint in the terminal message itself would avoid that. Great entry! |
| Oct 19 11:49:17 | 54s | Answer with Light | ♥ 0 | Really moody opening: the stormy window with your friend's lighthouse far across the water, his voice on the radio and "let's try the old way" pulls you in right away, and answering with colored light signals is a lovely Old Tech idea. I only played the opening, the scene is quite dark on a laptop screen and the subtitles are very small, so a brightness option and bigger text would help. Beautiful premise! |
| Oct 19 11:52:46 | 3m 29s | Zombie Apocalypse | ♥ 1 | Funny setup: your fancy turrets are useless because someone pulled the chips out, so you're back to medieval swords. The pixel art is clean and readable. I lost very fast though, the zombies reached me before I understood which items to grab and where the computer was, so a few calm seconds at the start or an arrow pointing to the first part would really help newcomers. Fun twist on the theme! |
| Oct 19 12:04:49 | 12m 03s | HELL TOOLKIT | ♥ 1 | that single lamp over a circuit board in the dark, with HELL TOOLKIT hanging above it, is a great opening. it took a while to load for me and then i couldnt find my way around the dark room, so a bit more light or one highlighted thing to click first would help a lot |
| Oct 19 12:06:12 | 1m 23s | The Last Show | ♥ 1 | the broken projector beam and the stained-glass beasts bursting off the glass are gorgeous. painting bridges and ladders with light fits the theme really well. i only saw the intro and the first moments, but the art direction is one of the strongest in this jam |
| Oct 19 12:08:14 | 2m 02s | Blackwater | ♥ 3 | that stormy sea looks lovely, the waves, the rain, the lighthouse and the little lit sailboat. i only got into the first wave so cant say much about the fight. wasnt sure where the old tech part comes in though |
| Oct 19 12:10:32 | 2m 18s | Across The Meridian | ♥ 0 | never heard of a merkhet before, telling time by the stars with it is a cool thing to learn from a game. the first-person scene was very dark on my screen and i didnt know where to go first, a brighter start or one prompt would get people to the star reading faster |
| Oct 19 12:15:39 | 5m 07s | Ancient Tech | ♥ 1 | rebuilding civilisation from memory with a useless phone is a fun premise, and the tech tree is way bigger than i expected for a compo. hard to tell early on how fast research is coming in, a progress bar on the current research would help |
| Oct 19 12:16:42 | 1m 03s | Magic Abacus | ♥ 1 | learning the soroban by running a market stall, love that. flicking beads feels good and the first lesson is clear. the top bead was a bit fiddly to hit for me, maybe a bigger click area |
| Oct 19 12:19:51 | 3m 09s | GRANNY TECH SUPPORT | ♥ 0 | G.R.A.N.N.Y. got a real laugh out of me. the onboarding chat is slow though, a skip or fast-forward would get you to the first granny sooner |
| Oct 19 12:20:24 | 33s | Radio Active Wear | ♥ 1 | the VHS look is spot on, feels like a cursed tape from the 80s. and the title pun is great. only did the first anomaly hunt but the mood is eerie in a good way |
| Oct 19 12:21:38 | 1m 14s | The Athanor Estate | ♥ 0 | the parser just works, look and directions do exactly what i expect, which is not a given in jam text adventures. orange on black, the dithered skull on the title, nice spooky mood. only explored the first couple of rooms so far |
| Oct 19 12:23:02 | 1m 24s | Tiny Technician | ♥ 1 | "Dad is opening LegitMP3Player.exe" is such a good opener, and the BSOD as game over made me laugh. teaching binary by flipping bits is neat. i crashed fast and didnt really know why, too high or too slow? a line about the reason would help |
| Oct 19 12:23:54 | 52s | The Night Clerk | ♥ 1 | the wobbly hand-drawn room with the CRT and the VCR shelf is nicely unsettling, and a horror about an overdue rental is a great hook. only got to the first call from the video store, so no scares yet for me |
| Oct 19 12:25:37 | 1m 43s | Old Nums 老数字们 | ♥ 0 | old number systems as the old tech, smart. solved the roman MDCLIII one, and his face lighting up plus the scale tipping works as a hint system without feeling like one |
| Oct 19 12:26:21 | 44s | The Time Lost Legionnaire | ♥ 0 | a legionnaire who thinks the gun is jupiter's thunder, ha. blocking bullets with the shield is a good mechanic, but while strafing i couldnt tell which way the shield was facing. a small arc showing it would fix that. visually still very bare |
| Oct 19 12:41:08 | 14m 47s | Like Clockwork | ♥ 1 | cozy gear puzzle, and keeping the gear count low gives it a nice goal. on my first try i couldnt tell which axle is the driver or if gears in between have to mesh, highlighting meshed gears would clear that up |
| Oct 19 12:42:12 | 1m 04s | Tuny and Volty | ♥ 2 | swapping between the cassette and the battery is instantly clear, and the music notes lighting up the path at the end of a level is a really sweet touch. 20 levels in a compo is a lot. only did the first one so far |
| Oct 19 12:43:02 | 50s | Linear Data Recovery | ♥ 0 | restoring vector images on an old CRT by drawing the missing lines, nice and minimal. finishing the fish was a good little aha. after enter i wasnt sure if it counted, a success or fail flash would help |
| Oct 19 12:43:45 | 43s | No Matter | ♥ 1 | a walking sim made only of particles is a brave experiment, and it has a dreamy, eerie feel. i couldnt orient myself though, couldnt tell where i was facing or if i was moving. even a faint ground plane would help |
| Oct 19 12:44:06 | 21s | Shmatari Shmidden Gems | ♥ 0 | a collection of the shmatari games that werent good enough for the hits compilation is a very funny idea, and the parody logo and (c)1981 footer nail it. only tried ping so far |
| Oct 19 12:44:53 | 47s | BIN.EXE | ♥ 0 | the neon vector look with the curved CRT edges is striking, and sorting old gadgets into recycle bins is a fun twist. a quick line on what goes where before the first item drops would help, i only saw the start of level 1 |
| Oct 19 12:45:49 | 56s | ZERO_DAY | ♥ 0 | green phosphor terminal, scanlines, the typed-out "hard drive corruption 97%" intro, good tension. only got through the intro so i cant talk about the shooting. letting a click finish the text would help on replays |
| Oct 19 12:46:13 | 24s | Hadal Station | ♥ 1 | 7000 meters down with a failing pressure regulator is a tense setup, and the little sub with its headlight in the black water really sells it. only got as far as taking the controls |
| Oct 19 12:46:54 | 41s | Dirigible | ♥ 0 | juggling power, buoyancy and rudder feels nicely sim-like, and the colour-coded height map is a readable way to show terrain. the first level was slow to get going for me, a clear goal line would help |
| Oct 19 12:47:57 | 1m 03s | The Cybersaga | ♥ 0 | running a retro console blog and getting an email about a console that never came out is such a good hook. the power-on boot and the desktop inbox make it feel like your own old pc. only read the first email but i want to dig in |
| Oct 19 12:48:48 | 51s | While the Lantern Burns | ♥ 1 | hand-operating the lantern in total darkness until the light finally spills over the cave floor is a great moment. finicky lantern plus musket as your only tools is a smart take on the theme. only took a few steps, want to see more |
| Oct 19 12:49:15 | 27s | Use the Shovel | ♥ 1 | the red and black corridor looks great. heads-up on a bug though: in chrome on mac, right after i pressed E to listen to the announcement, the emscripten bar showed "Exception thrown, see JavaScript console" and the game stopped responding |
| Oct 19 12:49:27 | 12s | The Basilisk | ♥ 0 | that teal and magenta dithering, the spotlight cones and the specimen tank look like a cult 90s game. only saw the opening scene, and the old tech connection wasnt clear to me from there |
| Oct 19 12:50:08 | 41s | da Vinci's WAR MACHINE | ♥ 1 | driving leonardo's wooden tank is a good pick, and the countdown to the giant sets a clear goal. the field felt empty in the first seconds, a landmark or a pointer to the first upgrade would help |
| Oct 19 12:50:50 | 42s | BOONGA BONKER: A Paleolithic Technology Simulator Now Featuring Authentic Ca... | ♥ 1 | "TOO UGLEE" made me laugh, and cave paintings as the oldest tech is a lovely idea. my quick strokes didnt register on the wall, maybe it needs slower drawing? a tiny hint would help |
| Oct 19 12:51:38 | 48s | Broken Arcade | ♥ 1 | the 3D cabinet around a slightly off pac-man maze is a neat frame. only played the first maze briefly, a line on what's broken about each game would make the idea land harder |
| Oct 19 12:52:14 | 36s | Connect me, Please! | ♥ 0 | a switchboard operator working "for the good of the Motherland", nicely ominous. the jacks, the cables and the paper-note tutorial look great in that warm pixel art. only got into the tutorial but it feels like papers please on a switchboard, which i'd play more of |
| Oct 19 12:55:25 | 3m 11s | My First Game Ever | ♥ 1 | congrats on a first game after three weeks of learning! the gear train idea is a good fit for the theme. one practical thing: the build is fixed 1920x1080, so on a normal laptop the itch embed cuts off the bottom and i couldnt see the end of the tutorial. a fullscreen button or smaller embed size would fix it |
| Oct 19 12:55:56 | 31s | Real Intelligence | ♥ 3 | a cleaning robot waking up in the library of a vanished civilization, "Remove dust. Sort waste." quiet and moody. the UI feels polished. only saw the first chapter so cant judge the puzzles yet |
| Oct 19 12:57:16 | 1m 20s | The little bot who could... SAVE THE WORLD! | ♥ 0 | the title screen with the TV-headed robot has a fun saturday morning vibe. in the 3D level the camera sat close behind a wall and it was very dark, so i couldnt see the bot or where to go. pulling the camera back a bit would help |
| Oct 19 12:57:42 | 26s | The Power Glove Odyssey | ♥ 1 | the power glove saving the video game universe is a good joke. the shooter works, but the grey placeholder panels make it feel unfinished and theres no glove in the playfield yet, even a glove sprite for the ship would sell it |
| Oct 19 12:58:16 | 34s | SnakeSketch | ♥ 1 | snake on an etch a sketch is a neat mashup and the red frame looks great. couldnt get going though, the knobs and key hints were cut off at the bottom of the embed on my laptop and tapping keys didnt move the snake. a "press X to start" would help |
| Oct 19 12:58:58 | 42s | No country for old men | ♥ 1 | love the title pun. the shooting and manual reload work, but my first room was empty with no enemies, so it felt quiet. starting with a small fight would help |
| Oct 19 12:59:36 | 38s | Runscilloscope | ♥ 0 | running along a live oscilloscope trace is a really clever idea, and it reads instantly. solid hook for a first solo game. a line on what NOISE and FIX do would help, but i had fun |
| Oct 19 13:00:12 | 36s | The Mushroom Boy | ♥ 0 | the low-res PS1 forest with the pixel-shaded hand and the basket is genuinely unsettling, great look. a countdown with a mushroom quota is a simple tense loop. didnt see the old tech link beyond the retro rendering |
| Oct 19 13:02:30 | 2m 18s | Old Tech Village | ♥ 0 | flipping the theme so the machines took over and you keep a village that fled tech is a nice idea. the dusk village looks great and the tutorial eases you in. only played the opening |
| Oct 19 13:02:56 | 26s | Beam Racer | ♥ 1 | a platformer inside a CRT where the electron beam is part of the level, very nerdy in the best way. short and rough like you said, but one of the more original ideas i've seen here |
| Oct 19 13:04:06 | 1m 10s | Plug & Play | ♥ 0 | plugging RCA cables into the TV to switch the colour of the whole level is brilliant. the moment the blue cable went in and the grey world turned blue was a real aha. only played the start but this is one of the smartest takes on the theme |
| Oct 19 13:04:53 | 47s | REDUT-7: Radar in the Forest | ♥ 1 | a lone radar operator in july 1941 telling friend from foe, very grounded premise, and the room, the rain and the night forest build a lonely mood. the pointer lock kept dropping me back to the menu in the embed though, so i didnt get to the radar itself |
| Oct 19 13:05:19 | 26s | Gnome Grown | ♥ 1 | an incremental in a jam, bold. gnomes harvesting, gold ticking up and that rickety crane in the back with "UPGRADE! (click)" keep you clicking. would be nice to see which old tech each upgrade unlocks |
| Oct 19 13:06:11 | 52s | Semaphore | ♥ 0 | a semaphore telegraph as the main mechanic, read the codebook, set the arms, pull the send lever, clear loop. the hand-drawn codebook is a nice touch. went through the tutorial only |
| Oct 19 13:06:45 | 34s | Logo Rogue-O | ♥ 1 | steering the LOGO turtle by typing FORWARD 180 / RIGHT 90 took me straight back to school computer class. the beige "orange II" with the green CRT looks fantastic. did the first few commands and want to see how the rooms get harder |
| Oct 19 13:07:40 | 55s | Iceman Ascending | ♥ 0 | an iceman hauling melting ice to the 35th floor with radium snacks on the way, very funny, and the art is gorgeous. i couldnt get him to move with WASD, arrows or space in the web build, probably missed the controls, a controls line on the first screen would help |
| Oct 19 13:08:05 | 25s | Rotary Phone Game (Unfinished) | ♥ 0 | a lady with a rutabaga head calming ghosts with a four-number rotary phone is wonderfully weird, and holding space for a bigger dial is a fun idea. hope you finish it |
| Oct 19 13:09:24 | 1m 19s | Old Varnish-The Technology of the Old Masters | ♥ 0 | oil painting restoration as old tech is unexpected and lovely. three real commissions in gilded frames, and the line about old varnish yellowing like a photo left in the sun is great. only did the first tutorial |
| Oct 19 13:09:52 | 28s | Rocket Championship | ♥ 0 | football pushed with rocket blasts, chaotic fun, and 1v1 up to 4v4 with bots is a lot for a compo. the mouse look kept fighting the page in the embed so i only got a few shots in. didnt see the old tech link |
| Oct 19 13:10:38 | 46s | Piece of Ship! | ♥ 1 | janitor of the party barge in a ship falling apart, "left thruster broke, can't turn left anymore" plus the barge crew's chatter, very funny. clear and chaotic from the first second |
| Oct 19 13:10:59 | 21s | A Little Piece of You | ♥ 0 | the line art is beautiful, and the office full of fax machines and a photocopier feels warm, like being a kid at a parent's work. leaving copy art for other players is a sweet idea. only got through the intro |
| Oct 19 13:11:54 | 55s | OLD TECH IS DEAD | ♥ 1 | online co-op for up to 4 in a jam is ambitious. in practice mode the build-and-defend loop is clear, but the HUD text is small and dense, and the old tech tie felt loose to me. only tried it solo |
| Oct 19 13:12:56 | 1m 02s | No Kissing in the Dark | ♥ 0 | a projectionist cranking the reel while catching kissing couples with a flashlight, great premise. the rubber-hose black and white art nails the 1920s, and juggling the crank against the hunt is good two-handed tension |
| Oct 19 13:13:18 | 22s | TGISSTOGWLT (This Game Is Somewhat Similar To Other Games With Long Titles) | ♥ 1 | that cold war fire-control panel is gorgeous. printing the keys right on every control makes a busy panel readable, smart. only powered it up and looked around so far, and great title |
| Oct 19 13:14:14 | 56s | VirusBusters | ♥ 0 | the virus arena shooter works right away and stays readable. pretty plain visually, the old computer flavour could go a lot further, CRT look, file icons, DOS text |
| Oct 19 13:14:47 | 33s | Nitro Lancer | ♥ 0 | lancing targets and chaining a streak is a fun arcade hook, and the scribbled paper UI next to the gritty asphalt has charm. chill mode is a nice touch. didnt see the old tech link in the first level |
| Oct 19 13:15:43 | 56s | Magic Kaleidoscope | ♥ 1 | a kaleidoscope is a gentle pick and turning the dials is pleasant. i wasnt sure what the goal was though, the shape changed only a little, a one-line prompt would help |
| Oct 19 13:18:21 | 2m 38s | The Telegraphist | ♥ 1 | a morse rhythm game that sneakily teaches you letters, neat. the play area is narrow on desktop and the notes are small, a bit of scale-up would help |
| Oct 19 13:18:58 | 37s | Old Wash Laundry | ♥ 1 | the grandma going from content to furious made me smile. my run ended fast and i didnt really get what the blue gauge wanted, a one-line hint before the first round would help |
| Oct 19 13:20:08 | 1m 10s | Prayday | ♥ 1 | channelling prayers to the gods by placing items on a grid, fresh setting, and the nile with the felucca looks lovely. only got through the intro so cant judge the combos yet. old tech link could be clearer |
