testing if the game is posted
*first time participating, simply anxious as my game is not shown in the overall collection :( -> researched a bit online, seems like this can be common for those who submit a bit late (will submit earlier next time)

Love the joke at the heart of this: moving an old robot with the oldest logistics tech there is, logs as rollers. The hand-drawn look with the swirly sun and ruined city is gorgeous and the menu-as-a-board fits perfectly. I only got through the very start: on my side tapping Space didn't seem to move the pallet much, so a clearer hint on whether to hold or tap (and where to drag the logs) on the first checkpoint would help. Lovely idea!

The art looks really unique, love the style! Funny and unusual take on the theme, and the game itself is a lot of fun. The controls take a bit of getting used to though

I love the ambience of the game. Graphics are good, music fits well. And wood logs are definitly old tech !
@gevernus Thank you so much for your comments!! Really helpful advice. (And glad you like the sun, I kinda spent half an hour on it but it is my favourite)
@rekk1d Thank you for your comment!!! Yes I will try to tune the controls a bit more. Thanks for the advice!
@helagos Tried to illustrate a slight dumb but casual waste land environment. Glad you liked it. Thanks a lot for your comments!!
I like it! I’m very bad at delivery. I’ve pushed the robot with the pile of wood straight into the head so many times... It was very funny, thanks for building that!

A very challenging game; it would be great if it started with a very simple level to help players get the hang of things, with the difficulty then increasing as they come to understand the mechanics.
@gamescodedogs haha during dev I sent the robot flying across the sky for a couple times. It is after I finished modeling the bot before I realized I keep hitting its head due to it's height, but decided to let it be for the fun. Thank for playing!
@shikaka29 The game seems to be more challenging then I initially wished to design. I was thinking like, three logs and a cart, ok how hard can that be. Ended up trying to make hills smoother and the ground easier to cross. Thanks for your advice, will try to add a more detailed tutorial for my game next time.
using logs as rollers to move a giant fragile robot is such a great joke, and it's a genuinely clever bit of old tech problem solving. the hand drawn ruined city with the swirly sun looks gorgeous, the whole thing has a really strong visual identity. the controls take a little getting used to, but the rolling concept itself is great. how long did it take to tune the log physics? lovely work.
Terrible balancing skills lmao 96DA496BFE8A95453E044E49EADEA295.png

48c6973c635a961bac045856ea9b5e01.png I got stuck here hahaha. Really fun interpretation of the theme, and such a cool idea! I love the post-apocalyptic art style, and the foreground, midground, and background all work really well together.
When I tipped over, I was wondering why I couldn't just lift the cargo back onto the platform. Then I realized it was probably because it's too heavy lol.
I guess making the robot feel even heavier and more cumbersome, like something that absolutely needs logs to move around, would help sell that idea even better.Anyway, great job!
I think this is one of my favorite games in terms of theme out of all the ones I've tried. I've never been so happy about the invention of the wheel or appreciated it so much. This has been absolute torture, especially going uphill, which made me suffer way more than I'd like to admit!
That said, it's been a really entertaining experience. The graphics are charming, and I found the gameplay really fun despite its high difficulty. During the first few minutes, I had to learn how to handle the logs and the platform, which was already quite a challenge. But just when you finally get the hang of it... everything becomes even more difficult and painful!
Despite all that, I had a great time playing it. My sincerest congratulations on the game. Great job!
@perrarancino Thank you so much!! Took me a couple hours trying to make the logs work smoother (even a bit of time after I handed in as I got from some feedback suggesting that the worker / player is a bit weak and not showing much use in the pushing). Encountered issues such as the robot's head colliding with the player's hand and spiral into the sky together. First time trying 3d sim games, still struggling a bit with the ctrls and how to make things easier for everyone.
@yibirabbit007 Hahaha, well, it is indeed quite balanced on the floor, isn't it :P
@yanruyi Thank you so much for trying my hard game!! Yes the steep hill is among the hardest level in my game, even took me a while each time to pass it. My trick with it is to use the first log to sort of pull the cart up the slope or slow it down when going down hills. Great advice about the robot and how it should look a bit clumsier and heavier!!
@hagamosvideojuegos omg thank you!!!! Your comment really gives me the feeling that all the work is worth it. Circles and spheres are all so common in geometric questions and thus often tricky with the knowledge, but I am always grateful for the circle shape and how they are soooo useful in real life. sry that the hill seems a bit of a torture (ok I admit, maybe a lot of torture), but I'm glad it brought some fun!!

Nice game. The controls felt really intuitive so I think you nailed that. Loved details such as accidentally hitting the stone creature had an effect 😄 The graphics style was neat as well. Cool game!
@cogcomp Thank you!! Yep for controls of the wood I was actually fearing that it might be hard to get, cause we now have much better carts with fixed wheels :P. Hitting the "stone creature" is part of the fun, I agree~
That was fun. I did not have the patience to get all the way through it (the steep hill was tough!), but I like the idea and I felt a real sense of accomplishment when I got past an obstacle. I was taking the slow and steady approach, but I got the sense that if I played with it some more, I would have found some strategies to help speed up the process. Like using the logs to push the cart and stuff like that. There's probably lots of little tricks you could find. And the art is great! Well done for your first submission!

Pretty fun! For some reason, I really enjoyed watching the robot get bonked on the head by a log. I love the idea of combining Old Tech (logs) with New Tech (a robot). Such a clever take on the theme. Great job!
I liked this. It's a great concept. I have to admit I couldn't get down the hill and had to give up in the end. It's surprisingly hard. I love the graphics for this, they are spot on, and the bonk sound when I kept hitting the robots head with a log had me laughing. Alround a great entry 🎱

I tried fiddling with the tree trunks to get the robot back in place, but I couldn't do it. Crossing the first bridge is tough. 👍
@the3rdhunter Really glad you liked it!! yes I admit the game is harder than I intent. I tried to ease it down but seems like hills are just hard to get past. My own strategy is to use a log to help push or "pull" the cart, and to nudge the leading log under the cart, using friction to get moving, but I know that such tricks might need better guidance to be revealed to the player (and that even with them the game still might be hard) Thanks for your comments!
@notnasiul Eyy you played to the end!!! Really flattered that ppl are willing to go through all these obstacles and reach the ending animation (its dumb but I wanted a twist so yea). Thanks for playing and all the patience!!
@vorondesan lol the '' became a part of the markdown. I'm actually sweating a bit with the difficulty but I'm glad it somehow provides satisfaction. Thank you for playing!
@willops ahahah first glance an abstract dumb 3d game? Thanks for playing! glad it brought some fun
@sanechekz Agreed, I also like bonking the robot (so I definitely remembered to add a sound effect for it). And yes, the contrast of old and new tech is intentional and really glad you like it!! Thank you ———
@oddballdave Yes the hill does indeed seem like one of the "ok I have to stop here but I've tried" parts (sigh). Will try to make a more friendly game next time, thank you for your comments!!! 😄
@fifut I didn't have the time to figure out how to make the robot seem heavy yet does not hinder overall gameplay, but indeed out of design it is pretty much not possible to pick up a robot and put it back onto the cart. What's funny about the first bridge is that I myself dig a big hole at first and then got stuck there, adding from 1 extra log to a couple more fixed logs so it is more realistic to pass.

Screenshot 2026-10-23 200242.png Some of the physics was really odd, the character and cart seem to move backwards on downward slopes more often than upward slopes, and slows down more often on flat terrain. I also had one of those instances of the character just randomly exploding.
@maakole Thank you so much for playing!!! And great you passed it!!!!! Yes the physics is a bit weird, I tried to let the worker auto pull the cart a bit back when it slips downwards, so might have the effect of a seemingly movement backwards. And the exploding effect I still didn't quite catch what the source reason is, seems like a bit different on different platforms, but indeed possible to occur (sry if that caused some inconveniences) Thanks for the comments!! will try to enhance the physics in my next game! (if there is still something to do with physics
I like the concept of this game. Having to physically drag the logs around fits with the vibe of being given this thankless, difficult robot pushing job.
I might've enjoyed smacking the robot in the head with the logs a bit too much. It makes such a satisfying sound!
It does seem the physics needs tweaking. Sometimes the platform would move forward only very very slowly, despite being on flat ground. Other times, the platform would move backwards for seemingly no reason. Some jankiness fits with the mood (it's supposed to be difficult), but at times things felt unfair / too difficult.
As others have said, the hand-drawn art is very nice. I would even have liked to see that art reflected in the robot and main character. Maybe as simple 2D figures, maybe as hand-drawn puppets. But that's all artistic choice on your part.

Somewhat frustrating, especially with the wonky gravity-defying physics, I but managed to make it to the end.
I think there's some sort of latency problem. Logs trail very far behind the mouse cursor when dragging them, and I would very frequently notice a log start to roll away and try to catch it only to find my click not registering.
@mikemikemakes Hii!! Thanks a lot for your advice and comments!! The reason platforms might move slower is probably because of the friction. When 4 logs are placed underneath it tends to be harder to prove due to the friction between the logs and the cart. Usually it moves pretty fluent with 3 logs on flat ground (at least from my perspective during dev and from a couple friends who I asked for detailed experiences). Platforms tend to move backwards when it is traveling too fast, since the worker is set to "hold on to" the cart, therefore pulling a bit when the cart is a bit out of control. And yes, I will try to make something more smooth in means of difficulty next time, thanks again for the comments!
@henk Thank you for your comment! Really great job for passing the game!! May I ask on which platform are you playing the game? For me, playing with touch pad on windows computer seems to work fine with the clicks (a bit hard to catch the logs in midair but once they are on the ground I can usually catch them). Logs also tend to follow to the mouse cursor really quickly (at least this is what I intend, so that unless you try to draw circles in the sky it usually get to the cursor in like 0.5 sec) Judging from some earlier comments, I wasn't aware of such bugs / misbehavior, so thanks a lot for pointing them out! I guess I won't be tweeking the physics a lot for now, just to keep the ratings fair, but I will learn from all the advice and enhance my game in the future :P

@cupofcuppuccino I'm playing in firefox on linux. Yes, the .5 seconds it takes for the log to reach the cursor is what I'm referring to by it trailing behind the cursor. Based on your comment it sounds like that behavior was intentional.
When I toss the log and try to grab the center of the circle mid-air, it noticeably doesn't grab until the circle has moved past the mouse cursor. It'll still catch because I guess the upper part of the log outside the circle still counts as a clickable area, but when the log is rolling horizontally down slopes that doesn't work.
@henk Ahhh icic. Yes the log does not teleport to the cursor, and that was intentional, so I guess thx for pointing that out, seems like it hinders the playing experience. Ok then, seems not to be a platform issue, then I guess just something worth tweaking a bit more based on gamer feedback. Also very detailed testing for the "catching log" part. A slightly larger area than the log's cut-face is able to be clicked, and usually at least for me on win I can catch the logs rolling down the hill (but for higher chance of catching it, slightly guessing where it will be in a couple frames in advance might be helpful). Maybe allowing a slight delayed-click area will enhance the acceptance of a reasonable click to save the logs. Overall now I understand where the issue is, thank you for your very kind comments! 😄

Game is really fun, but for some reason my fps dropped down (:
@qmdev Eyyy thank you for your very nice comment!!!
@singer Thanks for playing!! Hmmm first time getting a feedback on fps though, may I ask which platform? It is indeed a 3d game but it is supposed to be light (at least I intend for it to be *sob)
