a platformer inside a CRT where the electron beam is part of the level, very nerdy in the best way. short and rough like you said, but one of the more original ideas i've seen here

Great concept and a clever way to integrate old tech into a platformer! The slowdown mechanic is cool, and the reflection is a nice addition. Short but sweet!

I think there is an issue with procedural/random generation of platforms, which I encountered couple of times, when the next platform spawn too high for you.

Seems like a nice cute concept, but I couldn't figure out how to fight / skip the monster appearing after a few platforms.

@NTMalichi Fight the monster using slowdown and hit the beam to reflect it into the monster. You'll need to hit it 3 times.

What you have feels good, especially the jump physics. I'd like to see more, like ramping difficulty (smaller platforms, bigger gaps) as the game progressed, and more mechanics.

It kills me that the electron beam is going the other way round, didn't it move top-left to bottom-right? XDD Nice idea! Maybe you could interact with the beam somehow to alter what it produces or deviate it or something like that, so it's not just a visual fx?

Reminded me of Jump King but you added disappearing platforms. Liked it!

Player movement feels crisp and responsive. Slowdown was cool to use. At first I thought I had to avoid the beam. Would have liked to see more mechanics (e.g. maybe a movement option using the deflect, or screen wrapping like in pac-man), but nice entry overall.

A really interesting idea with controlling the speed of the beam and appearance of the platforms. I unfortunately couldn't work out what to do with the monster you encounter so was unable to progress from there, but a fun take on the theme nevertheless! Nice work!

Nice Doodle Jump-style game! Really liked the CRT TV aesthetic, it gives the game a cool retro vibe!

A fun game initially, though the monster was too difficult for me to beat - at first it wasn't clear how to fight it, and then after reading the comments I still struggled to hit it with the reflected beam and never hit it more than once in any game.

Visually its really good, but first boss is kind of difficult. I've read comments and tried to hit it with a beam, but it felt impossible haha! If I try to stand on platform below - it just disappears, if I try to fight it head on, even with slow time its quite tricky to avoid the boss... Really step learning curve.

But damn, doing this as compo - really well done! It has this old-game feel for sure!

Took me a few attempts to kill the boss, it should be easy but somehow it's relatively tricky lol. Movement is instant so a couple of times I'd move past the beam instead of bouncing it, which would throw me off and then I got jumped on. Or sometimes the hitbox of the enemy didn't get hit. But I did finally defeat it and climbed a few minutes further until I accidentally fell to my death. It was quite enjoyable, so good job!
