Gj on making it!
My initial strategy was to just avoid the enemies as much as possible since I found it a bit harsh that my player dies after a single shot while I seemingly have to shoot them numerous times. That only worked for so long though.. Other than being a bit too difficult, the game mechanics were fun otherwise.
The gameplay drew me in, and the music felt like a good fit. The difficulty felt a little high to me, with quite a few attempts needed to reach something new. A bit more variety in the grey walls could also be nice, while keeping the simple visual style.
I love the difficulty with one hit and you are dead. Unfortunately the level design made it too easy to cheese by getting the robots stuck against a wall and then shoot them around the corner. More rounded walls should solve that issue. A minimap would also be kinda nice, though the straight forward layout doesn't make it strickly needed. Since the player looks like a reskin of the opponent that I assume are robots, it wasn't until I completed the game that I realized he was human. It might be worth making him slightly more distinct. Overall a good game.
