plugging RCA cables into the TV to switch the colour of the whole level is brilliant. the moment the blue cable went in and the grey world turned blue was a real aha. only played the start but this is one of the smartest takes on the theme
Really cool entry! I played through it and had a great time. Here is a quick breakdown of my thoughts: • Gameplay & Design: The core mechanics feel solid and intuitive right from the start. The gameplay loop is engaging, and the controls feel responsive and fair. • Visuals & Art Style: The visual direction fits the overall mood really well. Everything looks cohesive, and the presentation makes it very clean to follow what's happening on screen. • Audio: The sound effects and audio design add a lot of punch to the experience and help build the atmosphere. • Theme Interpretation: You did a fantastic job incorporating the jam's theme into the core loop in a creative and clever way! Constructive Polish Idea: If you decide to update or expand this after the jam, adding a few extra feedback cues (like juice/particles or subtle screen shake) or expanding on a few mechanics could make it feel even more polished! Overall, awesome job for a jam project! Left you a high score/rating. Keep up the great work! 🚀
I enjoyed the game and think the concept is cool, but the controls were pretty difficult for me to use. I think the game would've been a lot smoother to play if while you have the red cable plugged in, the dash replaces the jump so that they use the same button, and if instead of (or in addition to) having the 3 buttons to change the color, you have a single button that cycles through the colors. Atmosphere was pretty good and the audio enhanced the experience. I also really liked the character physics with the slow jump and faster fall, it felt unique.

Great game, feels like a really interesting take on a platformer, but it gets really hard in the later parts, got a few scenes past the blue cable sign, but couldn't get throu everything x.x I can imagine that controller is the way to play this, on keyboard its a bit hard to get used to the color swapping, especially if you need multiple color changes mid jump to get past a hurdle.
Graphics feel really fitting for an old TV setup, sounds and music also felt ideal!
Overall really good entry!

Nice game! Just like the others, I feel like some rooms get *really* difficult and the techniques get pretty hard... Otherwise I noted it really well because it is engaging and embracing the theme! Well done!

Nice, I found green color very hard, challenging, but fun. Good job!

Fun game with the color change puzzle and platformjumping. it's a bit difficult for me to change with jumping, but it's really fun:)
This was a really cool idea! It was definitely challenging though, I struggled with having to change the cables to combine techniques. It was fun to guess what the blue power was early and use that to cheese a couple of the earlier jumps :D Really nice job!

Nice concept! I couldn’t figure out how to swap colors in midair, but I liked how each plugged-in color gave you different abilities. Unlimited retries made the challenge less frustrating. Good job!

Very nice idea! But the WASD + arrow keys controls are too hard and confusing for me to really enjoy the gameplay. With a gamepad, switching and dashing would surely be much easier!
(also it took me some time to find the arrows to switch color :s)
This is a clever idea. It's like a lightly salted potato crisp. Simple, yet somehow leaves you craving more. It brought back fond memories of my childhood, fiddling with RCA cables to hook things up. Maybe it's just my lack of coordination, but I found it a little tricky to control the movement with my left hand. It would be nice to have an option to switch the movement controls to the right-hand side, color controls to the left-hand side!
And I'm secretly guessing you're left-handed, haha

Awesome idea. I would have liked the red action button to be on more convenient key, button it added a little more chellenge to fight with my brain. Your graphics are simple but clean and the little cube animation add something to the whole vibe. Great job !
Interesting idea! My skills weren't quite up to it, though. I struggled through several rooms with red and green before getting completely stuck, without even meeting blue.
I also sometimes accidentally went back to the previous screen and lost sight of my "protagonist".
A neat platformer with thematic different modes, it's been so long since I saw a scart cable! Although I didn't get very far I did play around with all 3 colours. I'm not too good at precision platformers like this but I'd love to see someone experienced at them give it a try.

Great use of RGB component cables to switch modes. Fits really well with the hands-on, plug-and-play Old Tech theme.
Would love to see a command-palette-like slow mode switcher for each mode.
Got stuck in a few places while getting used to the mechanics, probably because I'm so used to arrow keys for movement, just like WASD.
Loved the simplicity of the graphics and the banners that gave clear instructions. A few nitpicks: moving across the screen sometimes sent me back to the previous scene, and I had to fiddle around to get back the other way, with the player not visible at that point.
Overall, a solid game. Well done!

I liked it, The concept of only having one "power" at a time is pretty dope!
As many people are saying, the controls are a bit difficult to deal with, but they just gotta git gud 😎 Jokes aside,
Great job for a jam, there's a lot to deal with being a solo dev, you did a good job :))
