Wonderful atmosphere: a red phone box in thick fog, seven coins, an address book and the Yellow Pages is such an evocative Old Tech setup. I struggled with the controls in the browser though: the mouse-look grabbed my cursor and flipped the view, so I never really settled in to dial a number. An option to look around without pointer lock, or a fixed close-up of the phone, would help a lot. Love the mood!

It has a great atmosphere, but I didn’t grasp the objective, and I got confused by the phone numbers—there are just too many of them. Also, the numbers feel too long; it gets tiresome to dial them.

This was great! I really loved this! The atmosphere first of all was perfect, but then it became kind of a puzzle. The first round I was just calling my mom and others to try and get me out, but this didnt really seem to work. Then when you start the second try you see the hint on the glass, so I started looking around me. Eventually I figured I should figure out what the numbers on the outside of the phone booth are, and I think the pizza place gave me the first few, so I spent the rest of my time calling places that might be able to see the phone booth. I didnt solve it in the end, but it was a lot of fun to try!
I am just curious, am I right in thinking that there is a solution? A way to get out? I would love it if there was :D
Well, either way, even if there isnt this came really caught my attention. It felt very unique. Really well done :D

@wuppos yes, there's a way out! Try calling the citytell issue helpline 🫡
@kremlebot if it helps, you can type numbers on your keyboard - but I totally understand the frustration. It was a little bit intentional, definitely not something everyone will enjoy 😊
@depression ah it requires webGPU support for the volumetric fog. What browser are you using?

So, what are we supposed to do in the game? How do we figure out exactly who to call?
Yeaaahhh this takes me back! I could almost smell it. Really captured the pay phone experience!

The quest is not hard, but it took a bit of thinking and looking around to get out the booth. Overall the idea of such a quest in a limited space is very cool. Graphics, atmosphere, especially sound, everything works great.
It would be even cooler to have a rotary dial, but you can't have everything at once. Great job, congrats!

Best game on this jam I played so far. I really liked all that detective stuff, heavy mood, mystery, anxiety of the situation, graphics, just some useless but fun to dial numbers... Got out on 4th loop, but looking at the environment at the time felt that I won't get good ending, heh. Perfect execution of the idea, especially for such short time. Great job.
