LD42 — Running out of space

Quadrofall by g12345 2018-08-21T20:25:58Z

Worked well, especially for the amount of time you put into it. Nice color/art style. It would've been nice to see a score, which (by looking at the code) you did add partially? As well as a lot of other things?

All in all, good job and I hope you're happy with it as well, finally building tetris ;)

Fruit Vendor by Rialgar 2018-08-21T19:34:05Z

Very nice game mechanic! Having the choice between two items to buy/sell is simple yet effective, it allows just enough room for management, but doesn't make it a management hell.

It was nice to play, almost made it to 150 points. On one hand I think the game could be sped up since sometimes the board was empty, but on the other hand it was quite tricky at some moments to arrange the inventory!

Good job, keep it up :)

Escape the Big Rip by godsboss 2018-08-21T20:16:00Z

Nice parallax effect with the different layers and the start screen was done very well too :) Also the green and pink orbs were a cool way to show certain stats.

The game could use an increase in speed/difficulty over time, after a score of 10000 I stopped because it kept feeling the same.

Nicely done though ^^!

Anti-Automata by thegunmaster 2018-08-31T19:11:22Z

Good simple idea, I like how polished it felt. Good job!

Golden Shackles by FuriousWitch 2018-08-31T19:17:30Z

I like the style of graphics you used for this. The gameplay itself wasn't really my cup of tea, but that's just me :).

I did notice a bug where you could just buy the recipes even if you didn't have the funds for it.

Good job making it!

Tricky Truck by Number6406 2018-08-21T19:45:15Z

Nice game! Made it till day 34 :) Really liked the graphics and it is a nice addition that the truck becomes slower when it's carrying more trash ^^!

W a l l i f o r n i c a t i o n by psychead 2018-08-21T20:03:28Z

Nicely done and amazingly polished in terms of graphics! At first I thought it was simply a putt putt golf game but with a space theme. However, having to make sure you don't crash into walls too hard gives it a whole new dimension! And pausing the game while aiming was nicely done, even the explosions froze :D

The second level was too steep of a learning curve in my opinion, but eventually I managed!

I noticed one small glitch which you might want to fix at some point to make the game feel even more polished. After crashing (and dying) the enemy can hit my dead ships hit box and dies as well. This looked a bit strange :)

Anyway, great game, really something to be proud about ^^!

Captain Starbeard and the Curse of the Wonky Equipment by those-30-ninjas 2018-08-15T19:51:33Z

The first round I had no clue what I was doing, second round I actually read the instruction and it all made sense. Really nice mechanic with the grid ^^!

On my laptop I did need to actually click (tapping wasn't enough) in order for Q/E to work, but that's probably just a Unity issue. Really nice polished game :)!

Drown Drown Revolution by Sibi 2018-08-15T20:01:01Z

You did a great job with this game. Keep it up!

It's a simple concept, yet effective concept and that's the strength of it :)! Really nice work with the graphics, it looks and feels polished :D! I did found the font a bit hard to read, but that's maybe just me :3

Misadventures of Crowley Flatcheeks by detectiveLosos 2018-09-02T14:19:12Z

This game was very relaxing, until I vanished into space on a floating piece of earth. Very polished and like the graphical effects that were used. Good job all!

Poisoned Palace by jordantanner 2018-09-02T14:06:36Z

Nice entry, reminds me of some old megadrive classics. Good job!

Spaced Out by thislooksfun 2018-08-31T19:22:17Z

Kudos for making this in html5 using newer browser features. The icons were a bit unclear which could be improved by some tooltips. Good job creating this game!

Space Defender 2000 by Sambi 2018-08-15T20:12:29Z

Liked the game :)! It wasn't too easy, so that gives it good replay value ^^! Really liked the art style and that you could buy updates, that motivated me to keep on playing even though I'm not that good at it, just to try them all out c:

Space Invasion by Nam Nguyen 2018-08-31T19:26:41Z

Very polished and enjoyable. The web build felt laggy but that might just be my system. Good job guys!

Crystal Invasion by Nelson William 2018-09-02T14:21:15Z

Simple idea that is well executed. I like the sprites in this one and the music is relaxing. Good job!

California Jane by fivenamefivesocks 2018-09-02T14:30:19Z

Impressive game. I like how you guys introduced new elements in a simple level and then expanded upon it in later. And the graphics and music are awesome. Great job!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

FAST CRASH by tweedle 2018-04-28T19:50:01Z

Impressive game with great mood and theme. Questions were all about American state laws so I failed those :)

Remote Bot by Yngvarr 2018-04-25T12:13:46Z

Awesome entry. Reminds me of old dos games like zman. Good job!

Nightclub Showdown by deepnight 2018-04-29T10:19:46Z

Very polished. Loved the graphics and the overall vibe. Having this incorperated in a fleshed out game with more gameplay elements would be excellent

Similize the Savages by silkworm_sweatshop 2018-04-28T20:10:01Z

This reminded me of a classic SNES game called Actraiser, which is good :)

BeMused by Dixonary 2018-04-23T11:34:13Z

Original and well implemented. I think you matched the theme quite well. Good job !

Gradioid by BeamKirby 2018-04-29T13:01:50Z

Impressive game, love the old school look of it. Good job!

BatBall: The Debut by OhFiddleDiddle 2018-04-28T20:03:42Z

Couldn't hit the ball at all, which was fine since I enjoyed finding all the other possible endings. Reminded me a lot of the stanley parable. Good job you all.

Math Drag Racer - First Ludum Dare and First Game Ever. by marioman68 2018-04-28T19:41:46Z

Getting 8 as a final score each time somehow. Nice basis and could see this being expanded upon into some educational game

Rockin' Horse by niterich 2018-04-29T10:27:38Z

Nice! I had fun with the actual game because of the sense of speed and the level itself, but keeping the rhythm felt kind off random at point.

Deck of the Dead by Balance686 2018-04-29T10:12:27Z

The mix of the two genres worked out quite well. I felt that the delay in picking new cards was a bit too long, but it was fun anyway.

Cyclevania by Allen Oliver 2018-04-29T12:53:38Z

2 of my favorite childhood games combined can never be a bad thing. Good job!

SPORTS by Forest 2018-04-28T20:18:36Z

Plays good, looks good an actual working(ish) AI. Good job. The music reminded me a lot of the punchout theme :)

Beat Boxer by jaredmercer 2018-04-28T20:14:07Z

The various characters were fun (even the audience). Would have like to see some actual feedback from the arrow input.

Don't Fry Michel ! by Vladadamm 2018-04-28T19:38:01Z

Tried playing it on my own, which made it more of a 2 player survival game. But it was interesting and worked well, so good job :)

Block Destroyer by ShinyTurtle 2018-04-29T12:27:29Z

I enjoyed this more then I thought I would. Add some faster movement and jumping and it would be even greater. Good job on your first ludumdare
