I like this power grid concept. You all did a great job on this.

Love the aesthetic and atmosphere!

The first round I had no clue what I was doing, second round I actually read the instruction and it all made sense. Really nice mechanic with the grid ^^!

On my laptop I did need to actually click (tapping wasn't enough) in order for Q/E to work, but that's probably just a Unity issue. Really nice polished game :)!

Super cool idea. It was a little hard to correctly manage the rock+paper+scissors attack sequences, but I really like the notion of using the puzzle board as the "controls" for a space battle. Nicely done!

Nice work. Your parallax background and menu were well done, and the graphics/combat/sound were nicely polished. Your take on the theme is very interesting, - I enjoyed the sci-fi paper/rock/scissors approach.

I didn't quite fully grasp the grid concept.. well I think I did, but I think I cheated it. I had loaded up the grid with all the pieces, and would just put them back in the same spot when they were ejected, even on top of red power grid spots - the ship held up fine during this, and the mission was completed. Maybe a penalty for having parts on top of the red grid spots would prevent this type of play.

All in all though, cool little game that was well executed, thank you for sharing!

@redhermit If you put the piece back over a red spot on the power grid, it doesn't power the piece. I think really what is happening is that the game is easy enough that you don't have to power many of your ship systems to win. I played the game without changing up the pieces as they were knocked off and I won. I think the difficulty just needs to be ramped up a bit. Thanks for playing!!

Awesome game! I enjoy the art and mood of it. Keep up the good work!

@kurt-roembke Ah, makes sense - thank you for that explanation of the mechanic! I think you're right.. just a slight tweak to the difficulty to prevent someone from doing that would do the trick.

I was mostly confused about the game overall. I understood that I had to place pieces on the grid, but it wasn't clear to me how the pieces affected gameplay, since I had no idea why my ship was doing anything, or how it defended me from the enemies. I noticed that the enemies were different colors, but if I was meant to be able to change my block placement strategy to react to them, then there was definitely not enough time, because new waves of enemies come in very quickly. I "won" the first time I played, but I'm not even sure how or why. Besides that, the graphics and music were alright. I think this game needed clearer instructions.

I felt like I was confused, and yet I won... so either I understood or it was too easy. It would be great if the power grid didn't let pieces on that didn't fit, because it's hard to notice that a piece went red in one spot. I also would like to see the 3 ship stats above the power grid because I got confused thinking that the right-side panel was the important one. Neat concept though -- I could see it working well as a mini-game that's part of a larger game.
