| Apr 5 05:00:11 | Extreme Plant Sitter | ♥ 2 | Really hectic little game! I didn't expect it to be so hard nor the conclusion so inevitable. I only wish the physics were a bit more consistent... | |
| Apr 5 05:13:19 | 13m 08s | IBYH!? | ♥ 4 | I got 6! Some of the minigames were hard! They took me a little while to figure out but once I did they were all pretty fair... if you knew the trick. |
| Apr 5 05:28:11 | 14m 52s | 25 Vikings | ♥ 1 | Very fun concept! I felt mechnically the game might be made a little more playable by things like allowing click-and-hold to ease clicking, and a little more friendliness in unit selection. I often found myself struggling to do the action I wanted to. The hoardes did indeed quickly becoming overwhelning, and death, ineveitable. |
| Apr 5 05:40:37 | 12m 26s | STAY | ♥ 1 | Very pretty visuals! I found the pacing pretty fun, though the combat seemed a bit luck-based. When they decided to punch me there was little I could do to stop it. Regardless, I did make it to the end, and it was great! |
| Apr 5 05:56:15 | 15m 38s | Kalopsia | ♥ 2 | What the heck was going on!? Super innovative way to kill things. I found the movement patterns I adopted becoming quite regular, but the gameplay remained super super fun. Perhaps making sliding a bit easier on the hands would be nice... |
| Apr 5 06:27:46 | 31m 31s | Bitboy | ♥ 1 | To avoid spoilers and really leave anything here of note would be impossible, but I do want to say, particularly to other commenters, that these kinds of games are awesome and it'd be nice to see more of em |
| Apr 5 06:38:34 | 10m 48s | You Are A Bomb | ♥ 1 | I did it!!! Nearly 3 minutes!!! I had some sketchy moments. Such a simple, pure game! Capture.PNG |
| Apr 5 07:10:52 | 32m 18s | PRESSURE | ♥ 2 | What a cool game! I'm super impressed with the file size. I got 70200! I was really impressed with how smoothly it controlled. There's very little jank in a game smaller than many, many janky games. Sometimes it was difficult to grab onto ladders, but overall, very good. |
| Apr 5 20:05:16 | 12h 54m | Orbles | ♥ 4 | Really impressive game, took my a while to beat it! The art and just like, general setting was so cute! I love AoT style monsters. The music as well was really nice and fitting. I found it was kinda lopsided in its difficulty. Getting started was very difficult but once you built an economy and secured some land you were pretty set. I think a lot of the difficulty in the beginning was just getting the dang things to do what I wanted. I ended up on my winning run deleting all of the starting buildings to build something more efficient. At the very end I was having a lot of lag spikes. It wasn't impossible to play but it did make it sort of annoying. |
| Apr 5 20:22:02 | 16m 46s | Earworm Jam | ♥ 6 | Do I win Capture.PNG |
| Apr 5 20:29:44 | 7m 42s | Circuits | ♥ 1 | @mira I came here to ask the same question about the countdown. It felt like it should've killed the program, it's too bad you can't do that in WebGL the same! The minigames were well done and the dialogue was entertaining, enjoyed it! |
| Apr 5 20:39:06 | 9m 22s | Myst the Alchemist | ♥ 2 | Nice piggy! I think for me there were kinda just too many things. The text was also fairly difficult to read so processing a lot of items was kinda difficult. If there were fewer items I think it'd be easier to get in to trying stuff, as right now there's just thousands of combinations and I have no idea where to start. |
| Apr 5 20:47:09 | 8m 03s | The Scraps of Victory | ♥ 1 | Really cool little game! I found actually* avoiding* the animals pretty difficult. I was kinda making it until the bird came in, but after that it was game over. Maybe a little more friendly sandwich physics while moving the plate around would be nice? I super respect the hecticness of recovering when the sandwich is hit, but I want a *little* more maneuverability |
| Apr 5 20:54:26 | 7m 17s | Day-leave-ry | ♥ 2 | Really effective environmental storytelling. It felt like kind of a visual novel style game. I only wish my choices had more of an impact... |
| Apr 5 21:16:16 | 21m 50s | Fountain of youth | ♥ 2 | Really interesting take on the puzzle platformer concept! There was a goal Kirill! The fountain of youth! I though movement could start a bit faster. The age mechanic was kind of bad-feeling because of the giant movement speed penalty. As well I think the layrinth was a bit difficult to navigate, oweing to the same-ness of everywhere. The little posters were a lot of fun though! |
| Apr 5 21:22:43 | 6m 27s | CABBAGE DEFENSE | ♥ 1 | Very cute little game, I agree that it seemed a bit unbalanced. I had a hard time progressing very far as the mean knights kept trying to kill me! |
| Apr 5 21:29:25 | 6m 42s | Enlit | ♥ 1 | More of these types of games in jams, please! I really loved it, so simple but executed really well. I also don't really care about the pixel stuff. The environment was effective, the bar mechanic communicated difficulty really well, it was very effective storytelling through mechanics. |
| Apr 5 21:40:07 | 10m 42s | Rage Against The Cocoon | ♥ 2 | Interesting little game. The movement was really difficult to use, I felt it really didn't want me to be under something. I like the idea though. Once I got a bit further the uhh, *other* movement felt better to use. I also found the mouse camera really sensative, maybe that led to my difficulty with the movement. Overall it was really cute though! |
| Apr 5 22:48:36 | 1h 08m | Dead Stars | ♥ 1 | I really like the interpretation of the theme. Mechanically I felt what was going on must be interesting, as evidenced in your post explaining it, but I felt a little more of it should be exposed to the player so we can feel more of what we're doing. I got 2005, probably not particularly good. |
| Apr 5 23:11:34 | 22m 58s | The Fire Will Die | ♥ 1 | Really pretty little game. While I didn't enjoy the writing, I appreciated the time put into it, it just wasn't really my thing so I can't really comment much on it. I did like the aesthetics of the fire scenes at night. I felt the game was at its best while I struggled to bring back scraps surrounded by wolves. A lot of the time it kinda just felt like I was wandering though, trying to find stuff. That bit didn't feel quite as fun. I also found the final sequence a bit clunky. Putting her down and trying to maneuver around her and grab rocks was a bit annoying. |
| Apr 6 02:28:05 | 3h 16m | Rising Tide | ♥ 1 | Really interesting take on the minesweeper stuff. I'm not personally a fan of a ruleset that doesn't provide perfect information, but it was done in a really interesting way. I liked the strategic aspect of spending extra clicks on tiles you *knew* couldn't be jellies to look for the nice fishies when you were near the top. I got to 46, and that already felt rather lucky (though I died in a very silly way). I agree than an extra rule would be nice. Once you get to rows with 4 or 5 where there are no hints you could have it's kind of eh. |
| Apr 6 03:55:22 | 1h 27m | Highrail to hell | ♥ 1 | I wish I saw more combat! What was in there was really fun! I liked the puzzle aspect as well. Well polished! |
| Apr 6 04:05:47 | 10m 25s | Life Finds a Way | ♥ 1 | Oh my gosh that was a fun time. Only thing, make selection of tools like, nicer? And make it easier to click small things. Otherwise it was perfect! |
| Apr 6 04:17:01 | 11m 14s | Taoreta Mura | ♥ 1 | Super nice looking scene! I set the world record, as of this post. Beyond 1:40! You all can do it! It was simple yet effective, I just wish there were more types of enemies beyond the bow users. Maybe magic... |
| Apr 6 04:36:09 | 19m 08s | Bussin | ♥ 1 | Aside from some weird physics bugs, with the spinning, it was really cool. The goals were far out of reach for me, but I still enjoyed the fun of stacking weird objects. Needs more insults by customers toward the player! |
| Apr 6 04:48:25 | 12m 16s | Death's Gambit | ♥ 1 | Really cool idea! I don't know if I was just unlucky, but 77 seems so out of reach! I even teleportito'd once into death! I like the idea though, and the graphics remind me of tactics games, which I love |
| Apr 6 04:53:37 | 5m 12s | Save the Planet!! | ♥ 1 | How did you get 111!? My best was 56 and it was so hard! |
| Apr 6 05:01:27 | 7m 50s | Nyan Tower | ♥ 4 | Capture.PNG 1251! Really nice game. I found the gameplay really engaging but kind of spikey. After a certain point my brain just kind of shut off and I typed all the letters. The art and music were very very nice, overall a really nice experience! |
| Apr 6 05:11:21 | 9m 54s | If you try hard enough, you can win. | ♥ 1 | Super fun little shooter! I don't know how the world record's 2:44, that seems absolutely impossible! My best was 2:22, which, while satisfying, was already really really hard. I think at the end the scaling is a bit wonky, and maybe some of the upgrades could be communicated to the player better, but overall really good |
| Apr 6 05:35:56 | 24m 35s | Evacuate Immediately | ♥ 1 | I cut it down to the wire, 18k miles left! I felt the game was a bit long for the amount of content it had, and that the end kind of dragged on, but like others I liked the down-to-the-wire balance. Good job! |
| Apr 6 05:46:48 | 10m 52s | Did I Just Poop Myself by the Produce Section | ♥ 2 | Woah, what an entry! I can't believe someone made a mini-undertale with genuinely awesome humor ABOUT POOP in ludum dare. Great job! |
| Apr 6 06:14:59 | 28m 11s | Don't protest me! | ♥ 2 | I don't know how you got 502 days, my record was just over 150! I think a little bit more feedback on your decisions would be nice. A lot of things weren't really felt. |
| Apr 6 06:19:54 | 4m 55s | The End Is Coming | ♥ 1 | It's really interesting how making it a rotational game changes it so much. High score was 103! |
| Apr 6 16:11:41 | 9h 51m | Destination Station | ♥ 2 | Fun little take on clicker games. I liked the theme and the audio a lot! I found the upgrades a bit unclear to start, the dude told me to upgrade my things and I couldn't find the upgrade button, and didn't notice the thing in the bottom right when I hovered things. I also found a few things hard to click on, I kept misclicking the teleport button and instead clicking a road, wasting money. |
| Apr 6 16:19:20 | 7m 39s | Dr. Jan Itor | ♥ 0 | Fun concept! I found it a bit unclear what makes the doctors unhappy with you, sometimes my meter just shot down and I wasn't sure why. |
| Apr 6 16:26:03 | 6m 43s | Death Will Find A Way | ♥ 2 | I like the chase platformer idea! I found the controls pretty difficult with relation to the game. The jump was too floaty to really be able to land on platforms, and especially when on a moving platform, to land back on it. If things were tightened up I could see this being a really engaging platformer |
| Apr 6 16:34:21 | 8m 18s | Helly Belly | ♥ 1 | What a pretty game! I really love the simple design, and the themes are great! I love how smooth everything is as well, I'd love to poke into your source for the way you render the circle! Everything just looked great! Super fun gameplay as well. I *almost* wanted more control over the shooting, but I dunno. When it got hard it felt very right. I got 232, but I may have to come back for the record! |
| Apr 6 16:41:55 | 7m 34s | Peter and the Pesky Puppets | ♥ 4 | The mood and the audio were really well done. I found the gameplay kind of at odds with the candle mechanic. As others have said, it made it very hard to see what was going on. Additionally, the level design made it kind of unclear what was what in general. I think fixing either of these would make it much easier to traverse the world. |
| Apr 6 16:55:29 | 13m 34s | Cheap Blue | ♥ 6 | The game is really nice looking! I felt the controls were a bit at odds with fun. I really liked how the game felt with the boat going fast, but to turn I nearly needed to stop. A liiiittle bit more help with turning would be super appreciated. I also really wanted more feedback on how badly damaged my boat was! I was collecting all of these planks but I couldn't really tell how much they were helping. But overall it was pretty nice. The water rendering was super super good! |
| Apr 6 17:05:21 | 9m 52s | Wizardfall | ♥ 1 | The graphics were really fun! They reminded me a lot of cuphead. I found the combat a bit rough to play sometimes my inputs didn't work and sometimes I moved further than I wanted, but I enjoyed the idea, it was pretty engaging. The writing was really fun, and I only wanted more, but we're in a short jam so I understand. Really good entry! |
| Apr 6 17:13:02 | 7m 41s | Keep Me Alive | ♥ 4 | Super super cute little game, super impressive amount of writing! It was all very nice! I really wanted some more choice in selecting my future lives. I think limiting the number you can have to 3 was good, but maybe give us more than 3 to choose from. I replayed a couple of times to see the others and try and get further down the paths but the choices are hard! Good job! |
| Apr 6 17:26:42 | 13m 40s | GrimTide: Delay the Inevitable | ♥ 2 | I really liked the like, feel of the setting, it was very nice. Additionally I thought it was really satisfying getting wins against the... thing. I do think the source cells could be better communicated. It took me a while on my first playthrough to realize what they were and I wasted quite a few resources on them, as well, once there's a big mass they just are unfindable. I felt the missiles were super difficult to target, but getting a hit felt really good. Maybe a little bit of help there would be nice - tracking or something. Finally I kind of got frustrated when the factories just exploded when misplaced. That's a lot of resources! Cool game though, really enjoyed it! |
| Apr 6 17:30:49 | 4m 07s | My happy weedy farm | ♥ 1 | Another farming type game, so cute too! The theming and all was really really nice, the music really fitting as well. My only real complaint is it was kind of hard to get the game to do the action I wanted. I wanted to weed and it wanted me to water! If I could manually select "weed" I think I'd have a lot more fun with the game. Good job overall though. The moving trees were especially a nice touch! |
| Apr 6 17:59:31 | 28m 42s | Last Bastion | ♥ 1 | Woah, that was a lot. I felt the scaling with relation to the player was a little wonky. I was level 90 and still dying instantly. I got to wave 37 though! Overall really cool. |
| Apr 6 18:10:06 | 10m 35s | Arrow's Theorem | ♥ 2 | Arrows impossibility theorem! Very cool stuff! I found the way the text came up every time I reset pretty annoying, but the gameplay was really cool. Really good way to show how each voting system has a downside, though FPTP is perhaps the most easily exploitable. |
| Apr 7 03:22:28 | 9h 12m | WE ARE DOOMED | ♥ 1 | Made it to 20 BC! Really fun gameplay for a bit but it kind of got to a point where there wasn't really anything new. I think maybe speeding up the progression would make individual runs more fun. The composition of the setting worked well. I didn't really have the problems with the camera but maybe that's because I just spun the earth and let it go... |
| Apr 7 19:24:37 | 16h 02m | Descending | ♥ 2 | Very cute little game. I like the premise but I couldn't figure out what prompted the little guys to run off the side of the island. I tried a few strategies and it seemed they just kind of randomly decided to fall. A little more feedback on why that's happening would be nice |
| Apr 7 20:26:47 | 1h 02m | Evacuate the city | ♥ 1 | Were the levels looping or random? It kind of felt that way. Fun little concept though! |
| Apr 7 20:48:16 | 21m 29s | Dig Dig Joy | ♥ 0 | What an addictive little game! Super big fan of the replayability. I wish it'd be more possible to get away from monsters but I suppose that adds to the struggle! |
| Apr 7 20:57:30 | 9m 14s | Stallar | ♥ 1 | What a wild game, I didn't expect any of that. Can't believe it was actually for NES! |
| Apr 7 21:06:42 | 9m 12s | Doomsday Run | ♥ 2 | Super fun little game! It got really wild really quickly! The only real criticism I have are the few little bits of jank in the graphics, otherwise it was great! |
| Apr 7 21:30:29 | 23m 47s | Void Prison | ♥ 2 | I really loved the way there was no health, only the barrier. I think maybe a little more forgiveness with getting pushed out would be nice but overall great job, especially on the graphics. |
| Apr 7 21:39:40 | 9m 11s | Diamond in the Rough | ♥ 2 | Really well put together game. I'd almost want more time pressure, I got 32200 and barely broke a sweat! I really loved the particle effects! Well done! |
| Apr 7 21:56:18 | 16m 38s | I'm on a boat - Anxiety Simulator | ♥ 2 | That was kinda of a heck of a lot. I really liked the idea but it was just like, too much to process at once. The water was also a bit bright compared to everything else so it was a bit hard to focus. Overall like, really cool! |
| Apr 7 22:06:35 | 10m 17s | Cosmic Contact | ♥ 2 | That was scary as heck! The writing was a bit awkward, but overall the experience was on-point! |
| Apr 7 22:16:11 | 9m 36s | plant. | ♥ 1 | Super cute little game! I wanted a day counter to see how well I was doing, but it kinda felt like I was trimmin a little bonsai and that was nice. Very good job! |
| Apr 7 22:39:54 | 23m 43s | Eschaton, Dark Forest of the | ♥ 1 | Absolutely great game. Got 1:11 on the eschaton! I really really enjoyed the wild atmosphere! |
| Apr 7 22:52:48 | 12m 54s | AstroPhysical | ♥ 1 | Really cool idea, though I thought a few things were a little more difficult to manage than I wanted. The circles had pretty low contrast and the timing on the solar collector was very very tight. In addition, the really repetitive music made is kind of hard for me to play a long time. I really like the idea and the presentation overall though! |
| Apr 7 23:19:23 | 26m 35s | Hymenoptera King | ♥ 1 | I found the weight mechanics really difficult to manage. I really liked the feel of riding a hornet and I loved the look of the ant and hornets but I think overall it was just a bit unbalanced. |
| Apr 7 23:24:50 | 5m 27s | Will There Bee Another? | ♥ 2 | Super super super cute game! Really cool sapphic dating VN. The dialogue was really fun and I kind of liked how like, you didn't only learn about the other character but you own as well. Really nice! |
| Apr 8 18:30:31 | 19h 05m | Dilate the time! | ♥ 0 | Well-done precision platformer, though the time mechanics kind of feel at odds with the rest of the stuff. I did find the acceleration faster than the deceleration, which made the movement feel kind of snappy-yet-floaty in a difficult way. Anyway, I didn't really understand why I'd want to dilate time if it meant my loved one's time didn't slow down. Just kind of a thematic nitpick. I guess also the physics are not *quite* right, with the time at the bottom *really* being your loved one's view of your clock, and not your view of your clock, but I can let that slide! |
| Apr 8 20:53:44 | 2h 23m | Eggspiration Date | ♥ 1 | I really liked the mood of the game, very cute! I thought the character controller was a bit wonky. I didn't quite understand why sometimes I jumped so much higher, but I eventually got everywhere. The lighting on the arch was a bit wonky so it took my quite a while to figure out where was safe to stand. Now about the chicken model - it was cute as heck! I really liked the material choice as well, it worked really well with the world! I thought the animations didn't quite match the gameplay, but aside from that it was awesome! |
| Apr 8 21:10:02 | 16m 18s | [Don't] Prune the Money Tree | ♥ 2 | Really unique game, I really liked the yoshi's valley-esque background. The initial gameplay was interesting, though I don't know how much I liked the way when you pruned a branch, the values of all of the others reset. I also found the end a bit sad. Branches becoming locked made some sense, but it also just kind of felt bad. I dunno if that was just me. Cute game! |
| Apr 8 21:34:41 | 24m 39s | Corgi, Protecc! | ♥ 3 | I really liked the pixel art! I *really* wanted to be able to just click and hold to shoot - it'd really help accessibility. The only other lil nitpick I had with it was the minimap. I think it'd be a little more usable if it kind of followed you around, that way the angles all matched up with the angle you have to shoot. |
| Apr 8 22:50:26 | 1h 15m | Lavapocalypse | ♥ 2 | Woah, super super cool RTS! I agree the drones running into eachother was cumbersome, but it didn't detract too much. I found the rate of sinking to be a bit unbalanced. It seemed like the time between "oh I need to do something" and "I'm dead" was a bit short - I wanted to play more! I found the randomly spawning enemies a bit annoying as well. It was sometimes difficult to select and disperse attack drones to deal with them, though I suppose this might be a me issue. I got to 19,300 on my final attempt, compared to somewhere in the 13000s on my second attempt, and I guess I just wanted to be able to get better! Really cool though and I liked the aesthetic a lot! |
| Apr 8 23:55:00 | 1h 04m | Keep It Steaming | ♥ 4 | I found the game fairly fun until I realized how the parts decided how to break. It was really frustrating having things I just fixed instantly break again - my performance felt far more determined by RNG than by my skill. The broken indicator made this fairly difficult as well. I liked the individual minigames, though their differing lengths were kind of punishing. I liked how most of them, you could tell whether they were broken without having to click on them. Overall pretty fun, especially if these things are fixed |
| Apr 8 23:58:44 | 3m 44s | Cthulhu Survivors | ♥ 0 | It's a very nice looking game, and I love the mood, but I feel the movement speed is a bit slow. I don't feel like I'm juking so much as shuffling out of the way. |
| Apr 9 00:09:42 | 10m 58s | Mankind Sorrow | ♥ 2 | Fairly cool idea, I liked the setting you chose! I really appreciated the audio work and voiceover, it was very immersive. I found the way you limited where the player could go until they did *something* kind of unsatisfying. What if I didn't want to go to the pub, you know? Additionally, the way when you go into a new area it just kind of placed you somewhere made navigation initially kind of weird. |
| Apr 9 00:24:52 | 15m 10s | The Final Day | ♥ 1 | It feels like a really complete RPG, though I think maybe the RNG could be lessened a bit. As others have said, getting 0 gp from a giant monster and 1000 from something small was a bit odd. I liked the monsters though, everything was very cute! I also did not beat the game, I saw the giant damage sponge and assumed it wasn't to be beaten, but I had fun playing! |
| Apr 20 22:56:16 | 286h 31m | The Flower of Marasca | ♥ 0 | Really cool game - finished in about 3:10 on my best play, with ample death abuse! I also echo the concerns about the way things can run out, but overall it wasn't a big deal - I made it though on my first try. I think a bigger thing is the way you sometimes die to enemies you can't really see, with blind jumps and falls. I think a little more friendliness here would be super appreciated. I really liked the tiny game aesthetic and the sounds! |
| Apr 21 03:31:16 | 4h 35m | Moon Base EVAC | ♥ 1 | Really cool game. I did get lucky and not have an early invasion on my first few moons, but even if I did I think it'd still have been fun. The building is a bit clunky, not being able to build under my UI sucked, but it was kind of refreshingly simple. I liked all of the module's mechanics, though I think perhaps the turrets were a bit strong! With the turrets I felt like I wanted to keep building! |
| Apr 21 17:36:47 | 14h 05m | Crash Defense | ♥ 0 | Fun little tower defense, but the gameplay felt a bit uninteresting to me. Instead of choosing between different tower types, or where to place them, I was just running back and forth. I also think some more UI feedback would be nice, but as is it was mostly fine once I realized the things appeared on your back. Good job on the audio and mood though! |
| Apr 21 17:45:21 | 8m 34s | Everything's Fine | ♥ 0 | Really cool project - love rust! Really cool to make something without like, bevy, in 48 hours. It's a little on the slim side for a game but that's fine. I found the different patterns in the level really disparate in difficulty. The stair step one ALWAYS killed me. I got around 4800, showing the players high score would be nice. Overall good job! |
| Apr 21 17:59:12 | 13m 51s | Island Management | ♥ 1 | After kind of figuring out I had to think of it as a card game, I had a lot of fun with this. Sadly the game broke on me, but at 146 pollution I had 306 happiness. The break happened kind of oddly, I think one of the dice fell off the table and it never resolved the roll. The console didn't print the results of the roll either. I honestly don't think showing the states would make it better, I think having to figure them out yourself is really satisfying. Good job! |
| Apr 21 18:51:29 | 52m 17s | Camp Demise | ♥ 0 | Really nice moody game! I played it several times but I couldn't make it to the end. The areas with no batteries were just too difficult. I think a bit of help on the battery life of the flashlight would be nice. |
| Apr 21 18:58:42 | 7m 13s | Stupidly Inevitable | ♥ 0 | I didn't really understand what was going on. I think the idea of protecting a main character is solid, but having to deal with the slidiness and the way the others pushed you around made it really difficult to do, |
| Apr 21 19:10:41 | 11m 59s | Monster Dungeon Defenders | ♥ 1 | Super cute little game! I didn't see one of the cards in the screenshot during my playthrough, which was kind of sad. I wanted the level of cards available to grow as I did! I really really really liked the graphics, a few little animations in a post-jam version would make it perfect. I also ran into the issue with the final round but overall great entry! |
| Apr 21 19:15:49 | 5m 08s | Countdown | ♥ 1 | At first I was like - "this is simple", but as I played I realized it was actually really really cool! I liked the kind of silly meta-ness of the NPC. I do have to ask though, is the "insatiable greed" scene the final end, or if I was more tame, could I have gone further? |

Never got to 3000 points, somehow I just fell off and couldn't get it at some points. The effects and all really made it feel hectic as well, nice job on that. |
