Well the first time the maw ran at me I almost crapped my pants. I had the same issue as above, the 'R' key wasn't working but the space key was. Interesting concept!
Movement was much too fast and linear (in terms of the speed, it just hit full speed instead of having any accel to feel more natural).
Game bugged out for me as well, froze.
Moving around to pick up objects to place is a very reasonable concept though.
@who @markymark @jovialknoll Thanks for the feedback so far! The "R" key not working must be because the ability is unlocked at ~3000 points, something that I should have stated from the beginning. As for the game freezing, that was a last-minute issue that I only had a sloppy fix for, so it happening again for someone seems to be... inevitavle...
The maw is quite a frightening villain. It would be nice if there was a way to gain time back, as this would give it an actual 'delay' element. Also, I believe I experienced a bug where pickup up the creatures fails after restarting the game. I would press space, but they would just crumple on the ground.
I love the creepy atmosphere of this game! Also this game fits in quite well with the theme. Though the player's movement does feel a little jittery.
Nice game! I liked the mix of 2D and 3D effects, and the screenshake + sound near death. It took me a long time to realize I could stack the point dudes in order to increase the timer once feeding the Maw. I got stuck in walls multiple times, and one time even passed through the Maw, but otherwise, good entry! I managed to reach a score of 2525.
I like the Maw's design.
Seems like the speed boost never stops when I activate it. The area on the right is difficult to access, having more time would be nice.
Juro que tentei jogar mas não consegui entender o que fazer...
I mostly roamed the main area as the area to the right costs a lot of time to access. The game is simple but fun - good job :)
Nice job! I like how spooky the maw is, and it's fun to stack up a ton of guys. Didn't get anywhere close to unlocking the powerup though...
Wow, did not expect this to be a HORROR GAME! I had the same reaction as @markymark :joy: the game was fun, albeit a bit too difficult imo. Did not make it very far any round. The effect that starts when you're under 10 seconds is great, really makes you feel the pressure. I also really like how you carry the dudes, it looks quite funny. For some reason I couldn't pick the dudes up after a few rounds, when I clicked space they just laid on the ground. Restarting the game fixed it.
Nice job with the game! I was not expecting for The Maw to lunch at me suddenly :)

I think the theme of the game really works well with the theme of the jam, and it was pretty fun.
Sadly I had a few bugs where sometimes space would only flatten points instead of picking them up, and also the boost never ran out even after the timer did (though that worked in my favor so I'm not complaining).
Great entry! works really well with the theme it tooks me time to understand i can grab multiples guys at the same time
that was a REALLY fast speed boost. I found it so fast that it was hard to control lol. Fun concept, well done for 48 hours!
That was really interesting. It took a few tries for me to figure it out but it was hectic has heck. Never got to 3000 points, somehow I just fell off and couldn't get it at some points. The effects and all really made it feel hectic as well, nice job on that.
