Oct 5 03:40:26 Gun Mantis Arrival ♥ 1 Interesting idea, having guns change, and the stage fall apart, but I felt the game had too little feedback to really be satisfying to play. Aside from their death, I didn't have enough feedback on whether I hit the enemy, or how much damage my gun was doing. I also felt like it should be more notable when I get hit. Finally, some enemies felt kind of impossible to avoid, which wasn't very fun for me. I really liked the tie in to the theme though, interesting take on unstable!
Oct 5 03:57:06 16m 40s Boat History ♥ 2 I found the boat physics really really difficult to deal with. The way it randomly stuck to surfaces, randomly got stuck, randomly kept velocity, became very difficult to manage in later levels.
Oct 5 04:02:03 4m 57s Swing Gobang ♥ 0 I like it! I wish there was more... and that the physics were a bit less... jumbly! There just wasn't much for a single player like me to do. The music selection was fun too!
Oct 5 04:03:43 1m 40s Sitter ♥ 1 Makes me kind of uncomfortable...
Oct 5 04:13:30 9m 47s Fractured Space ♥ 0 The movement was a bit slow. I dunno if I didn't get it, but it didn't really do much for me. I was just floatin' out in space, collecting keys, passing doors... was that it?
Oct 5 04:17:56 4m 26s Wurst Angst Apple Joy ♥ 1 I found the dialogue sound rather grating, as many times as you have to talk in this game.
Oct 5 04:20:40 2m 44s CHEMYKAL ♥ 1 On my webgl version, I had a bug(?) where this was what happened when I hit play. Let me know if you fix it!Capture.PNG
Oct 5 04:35:33 14m 53s Destructo ♥ 1 Really fun little roguelike! The biggest thing I found was getting locked from the end kinda sucked. It's fine if I dilly dally around, but I should at least have a chance I think. I found the sound effects really really satisfying, especially when a lot of blocks were destroyed! Good job!
Oct 5 04:48:46 13m 13s Edge of Entropy ♥ 2 The art was really nice, and the music set the mood really well. I just found the gameplay kind of unengaging. I didn't find a lot of like, important, hard decisions in the game, where I thought maybe that would've been fun.
Oct 5 05:05:01 16m 15s The Volunteer ♥ 4 Great moody game1 I found the level design a bit unclear at times - I think an "F" prompt would help clear a lot up! I really liked the story! Great job!
Oct 5 05:15:29 10m 28s Hammer Keep ♥ 1 I found the core gameplay loop really satisfying after getting the hang of it. The indicator on the ground for healing was kind of annoying, as it made me think "thing is falling" a lot. There's already differentiation, but maybe a little more would help. I really liked the boss fight, and I think it could be made harder with adds during it! Overall good job!
Oct 6 00:19:18 19h 03m Runtime Exception ♥ 1 Funny little game! I wish there was an endpoint. Also, there's a lot of elements of the game that you can just kinda skip. I wanted to be forced to interact with the buttons and sliders more!
Oct 6 00:36:58 17m 40s JUNK NUNS ♥ 2 Super cool little game! The tires are sooooooo hard to deal with! I loved the rest of the stacking, I just couldn't figure out how to manage those pesky tires. I also found the crane arm a bit hard to control, and the truck area was really frustrating when items got stuck there. Good job!
Oct 6 01:03:36 26m 38s Mysterious Mine ♥ 1 The maze was suuuuuper hard to navigate - some help would be appreciated. You absolutely nailed the creepy vibes!
Oct 6 01:20:55 17m 19s BrawlQuest ♥ 0 Really charming little game, I really liked messing with the people I came across! The music and art was really charming. Interesting use of the theme as well, having the game crash a bunch! Well done!
Oct 6 01:32:04 11m 09s Cowabunga ♥ 1 This one really felt like an old NES game or something, well done! I kind of wish the milk regenerated a little faster, so I could fly more, and that you respawned with more milk. Otherwise, really fun!
Oct 6 01:43:43 11m 39s Escape From DIABOLACORP ♥ 2 Really charming art! I found the robot and battery a bit hard to control. Also, being able to kill enemies via hitting their heads wasn't well communicated. Overall fun though!
Oct 6 01:53:56 10m 13s Manicat ♥ 1 Very video game. My favorite part was clipping outside of the world and finding cabbage, then taking it to the edge of the earth!
Oct 6 02:30:08 36m 12s Neon Saber ♥ 3 Really good looking game! I found everything a bit fast. The bullets and the lightsabre both often moved too fast to really react to. A bit more slowness would make the player feel like they have more agency I think. The story was really charming, and the music as well. Overall great job!
Oct 6 02:35:39 5m 31s Proton Pilferer vs. The Particle Police ♥ 1 Fun little idea, but the bugs kinda broke it from me. I kept clipping into walls while small. I found the art really nice, but with the franticness of the gameplay, I wasn't able to appreciate it all that much. Maybe slowing it down a little would be nice!
Oct 6 02:42:00 6m 21s Eclipse ♥ 3 Very cool art! I really liked the switching from dark to light, but I couldn't figure out if it really changed anything big gameplay-wise. The collecting sparks to progress wasn't super well communicated, but I liked it when I figured it out. Well done!
Oct 6 03:08:47 26m 47s Buzzing Orchard ♥ 1 Amazingly solid game. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, with the bees needing trees, trees needing bees, and how the stands worked, but once I did, I felt kind of dissatisfied. It was a little too easy then to just place stuff down and win. It'd have been nice to have a bit of progression or something.
Oct 6 03:44:04 35m 17s Ark ♥ 2 Really well polished! The last few puzzles got really really hard! It would've been nice to have a way to reroute the beginning of a line without having to also redo the whole end.
Oct 6 03:51:50 7m 46s Trailer Trials ♥ 1 Really well presented game, but I found the driving really too touchy. It would've been nice if it was kinda more like a real truck, where the wheels stay where you left them, so you don't have to make the same corrections over and over and over. The steering was also really sensitive. If these were fixed, it'd be a lot more satisfying for me to play.
Oct 6 03:59:23 7m 33s Instability ♥ 1 High score was 68.8! I found the ropes really frustrating, the way they could wrap around the bottom of the character. It'd be nice if jumping off kind of phased you through the current rope rather than making you still collide with it
Oct 6 04:09:42 10m 19s Lacalaca Ripstaurant ♥ 4 The graphics were really well polished! I found the audio a bit annoying, with the same voice lines repeating over and over without variation. I also found the controls a bit frustrating. Particularly the way it was very hard to select the dish you wanted to pick up, but also hard to get multiple of them. I also found the way you had to get very very close to the guest to serve them annoying, given the way the game controlled. I really liked the way you'd drop plates though, that was very fun!
Oct 6 04:36:09 26m 27s Baserackcanball ♥ 1 Really really fun game. I got to level 5! I found the way you had to switch between keys interesting, but not very easy. Moving my eyes between the ball and the key thing was kind of hard. Additionally, the angles bits at the left of the field really made it hard to hit the ball in certain situations. Really really beautiful game though. I love the waving trees and the art and sound design in general.
Oct 6 04:44:14 8m 05s First Flight ♥ 2 Really nice short game! I didn't think there were too few levels, I found it a really nice number, really something that demonstrated the idea well! I liked the attention to detail in the animation really really nice. I think at the beginning, a little indication that you're trying to get the bird out the hole would be nice.
Oct 6 04:56:32 12m 18s Un-Stabled ♥ 2 What the heck was that??? Amazing horse action. The voice over was perfect. So many games, I have something to say about them, but things like this just leave me speechless. I found the movement on kickable stuff a little glitchy, and the horse sliding on wobbly things kinda sucked, but that didn't detract from the pure horsexperience. Great job.
Oct 6 05:53:21 56m 49s Crybaby-sitter ♥ 3 The movement was a bit rough. I also found avoiding obstacles a bit hard away from the baby. You definitely captured the franticness I think you were going for!
Oct 6 06:15:02 21m 41s Blast Blocks ♥ 1 Really interesting mechanic, I haven't seen anything like it before. I found some of the avoid puzzles rather frustrating, as they were so particular. It'd be nice if it was allowed to go in them just a little, to avoid little corner cases ruining a run. Otherwise really good!
Oct 6 06:25:02 10m 00s Fickle Forest ♥ 1 Really polished-looking game. Sadly, I don't think there was quite enough feedback to give the player what they needed to succeed. As well, the super small click limit kind of limits the experimentation you can do in one run. It'd be nice if something was changed there so it was easier to figure out the game.
Oct 6 06:38:32 13m 30s Solar Colonies ♥ 2 What a beautiful little game! I also found it kind of simple, but it was still very worth playing. I wish there was something more to progression beyond colonization (and maybe a little consciousness around the colonization thing rather than glossing over, but it is a jam game). Anyway, well polished game, good job!
Oct 6 06:42:20 3m 48s Hexy Unstable ♥ 2 Pretty little game! I think the transitions really made the game feel a lot better. I found avoiding enemy damage rather hard. The hit stun was really short and without knockback, and you could easily get too close. As such, I didn't really get very far. It was fun anyway, good job!
Oct 6 18:41:41 11h 59m Ines Table's Unstable Potion Factory ♥ 5 Well polished game! I found the potions kind of hard to click on, and it wasn't all that challenging, but it was really well executed. I wish it got more challenging as it went on, with more combinations or more potions, but it worked okay as is. Good job!
Oct 6 19:06:34 24m 53s A bad day to harvest ♥ 1 Cool little game! I got a high score of 563! I found the arrows overlapping eachother really frustrating, as it made it very difficult to tell where the next one was coming from. Additionally, sometimes the game glitched and let me overlap things, which was nice, but I don't think it was what you were going for.
Oct 6 19:14:39 8m 05s Volatile Defender ♥ 1 Nice game! I got 550! I found it kind of annoying that you could get in situations where it (at least seemed) impossible to beat everything. It just felt like the randomness kinda got you sometimes. All of the enemy types felt nice though! Overall well done!
Oct 6 20:32:04 1h 17m The Wizardless Tower ♥ 2 I really liked the idea of the game, but I found it to get difficult too fast. I couldn't really engage with a lot of the more interesting mechanics as I didn't get the time to set them up. As well, the physics simulation was a little unstable itself, and that made it hard to exactly position blocks as I'd have liked to, so I could fit in more stuff. Finally, it'd be really really nice to have a way to rotate pieces. I wanted to tetris things in! Had a lot of fun anyway!
Oct 6 20:36:54 4m 50s Soviet Office Simulator ♥ 1 Interesting little game. After I did the first two tasks, tasks stopped telling me what to do and I couldn't really figure it out. I liked the environment and voice lines though!
Oct 6 20:40:33 3m 39s AstroJump ♥ 2 High score of 16000! I found the movement a bit slow, it was hard to get across the screen, so I couldn't really get where I wanted to go. Aside from that, really clean game.
Oct 6 20:45:12 4m 39s Equilibrium ♥ 1 Really fun little concept, though I think the "restart at level 1" wasn't very fun. I'd rather have a kind of "streak" and "completed total" kinda thing. As well, I also found the controls a bit cumbersome. It'd be nice if the rotations were always "from the player's" perspective rather than relative to the current orientation of the board. Finally, handcrafted levels would be really interesting!
Oct 6 20:50:31 5m 19s Chaos Theory ♥ 1 Really cool use of the theme! I made a pendulum solver for my game as well, but only ended up using a single pendulum. I thought the damping was a bit much, energy decayed very rapidly.
Oct 7 00:02:55 3h 12m The Landscape Hates You! ♥ 1 Interesting. I think the idea was good, but it'd have been nice if blocks indicated which kind they were. Don't be so hard on yourself!
Oct 7 00:17:29 14m 34s Magmanimal Island ♥ 1 Really interesting games! I liked the little bits of story along with the resource management! I made it quite a few months, but I found it kind of annoying that there were so few cards. Often I was forced into making a certain decision because I only had an up or a down card. I think a feeewww more cards would be nice to allow a little more player expression.
Oct 7 04:11:41 3h 54m Unstable City ♥ 0 Seemed like a really deep and well-polished game for the jam! I liked the interactions, but I didn't find a lot of need to increase taxes. Perhaps I got lucky, or it was too easy. Didn't take long to get to 100/ everything!
Oct 7 04:19:26 7m 45s The Automation Department ♥ 2 Really nice little art! One thing I found with the game is it got harder and harder to start, but then once you started automating, it got easier. It seemed it was only really possible to lose in the mid-game, which was kind of weird. I dunno if that's the design intent.
Oct 7 04:45:43 26m 17s Unstable Valley ♥ 0 Really interesting game. I would appreciate a bit more feedback as to what's going on. It took me a while to realize the enemy was just acting so far before me, but once I did, it got much more fun. It would also be nice if voice lines interrupted eachother rather than playing sequentially.
Oct 7 06:09:01 1h 23m Unstable Situation ♥ 2 I agree with a lot of the feedback and a way to force-go-back. I also think the game could use a few more dead ends! I had fun exploring, and I wanted more, even if there weren't going to be rewards. I also think a little more non-linearity would be nice.
Oct 7 06:17:34 8m 33s The Show Must Go Down ♥ 2 Really interesting concept! I also found it kinda unintuitive interacting with the objects, but I figured it out. I think I did produce a bug where I kept picking up the package everywhere!
Oct 7 06:23:48 6m 14s Paper Route ♥ 1 Fun little game, reminded me of the old flash and mobile bike games!
Oct 7 06:35:42 11m 54s Midnight Maintenance ♥ 1 Really good aesthetic, made me think of the old PS2 games! I appreciated the zombies staying dead - it made the game really nice to progress though! I feel like I kind of expected some momentum with the jumping. Without it, I often underestimated them.
Oct 7 06:40:34 4m 52s Critical Mass ♥ 1 Well polished game! When it got really fast it was really hard! I appreciate the way different parts of the ship took damage and affected how it flew. It would've just been nice to have a bit more variation in the game.
Oct 8 00:48:44 18h 08m BALANCE-PARKOUR ♥ 2 Really interesting idea! I found the movement a bit slow, and the score seemed kinda weird. I dunno if I'm just not noticing it, but it seemed to go up randomly, and very slow. I'd like to have reached 1000 but that seemed so out of reach, and like it'd take so long.
Oct 8 00:57:28 8m 44s Rickety Ranch ♥ 0 The game was super funny! I found the graphics charming, even though they weren't like, the best. The difficulty curve seemed a bit off. The final level was way beyond the others. Also, the spikes could hide in other elements.
Oct 8 01:17:13 19m 45s Alchemeow ♥ 0 Really fun mastermindish game! I really loved the art style. I did think 3 rounds was a bit short to figure out a combo that worked, especially with the way things grew over time, but it was fun anyway!
Oct 8 01:26:51 9m 38s Hungry Myshka ♥ 1 Really really good looking game, but I found the gameplay kind of lackluster. It seemed the intended paths were extremely tight, while just getting out of the intended path made everything really easy.
Oct 8 01:34:04 7m 13s Bob's Monday Morning ♥ 0 Interesting cutscenes. God - that alarm bell was horrible. The gameplay was really unclear. When I succeeded I had no idea why.
Oct 8 01:39:44 5m 40s Atomic Pool ♥ 1 Interesting game, I found the gun a bit slow, It was really hard to hit other particles with your gun, as they were moving many times the speed of it. Due to that, and the way you had to predict multiple deflections ahead, it did seem almost random. My best run was the run I just shot as many times as I could.
Oct 8 01:56:42 16m 58s Magic Knight Out!!! ♥ 3 Really interesting looking game, reminded me of old rotoscoped game! I found the gameplay kind of annoying, as if you blocked too late, it felt very difficult to hit the enemy. A little more forgiveness on the hit window would be really appreciated
Oct 8 02:12:00 15m 18s The Bomb Office ♥ 0 Very interesting concept. I found it really hard to click on the wires as the dynamite rotated. Also, it'd be nice to have some indication of what movement causes them to insta-explode. Overall fun game!
Oct 8 02:19:33 7m 33s Bitrot ♥ 3 Really interesting game, I like glitches being the interpretation of the theme. The camera was kind of tough to deal with. On the backward level, it didn't show enough in front of you, as it still aligned the player to the left of the screen. As well, it was kind of annoying how it "stuck" to your vertical position. With a little camera work, this could be a great platformer!
Oct 8 02:33:32 13m 59s Ziggy Bungus: Pizza Delivery Simulator ♥ 0 Suuuper cool idea! I found the balancing a bit... unbalanced :p. A bit difficult anyway. The level design was great though!
Oct 8 02:43:50 10m 18s The Score ♥ 1 Really fun little heist game! It'd be nice to have more indication on how much ammo you have left and all.
Oct 8 03:01:30 17m 40s Don Muchacho: Vigilante ♥ 3 Amazingly funny game! Treads very close to being a meme game, while still taking itself seriously, and I love that. Great job!
Oct 8 03:08:51 7m 21s Reliance (Working Title: ~Generating Cosmic Forces ♥ 1 It was definitely really interesting. I couldn't say why I picked the answers I did, but I felt like they had some logic to them, and they did what I wanted. Really really interesting writing as well. I do the the color choice for backgrounds was kind of eh, but overall, well done.
Oct 8 03:19:06 10m 15s Snake Using Windows ♥ 1 What a unique take on snake! It worked well for the most part. There were some bugs, but nothing a restart didn't fix! I wish there was a score screen!
Oct 8 03:25:49 6m 43s This Is A Stable Game ♥ 1 The jumps were too precise to really be practical, I couldn't get past the second level, despite 20-30 attempts.
Oct 8 03:40:07 14m 18s Quantum Split ♥ 2 Really really thought provoking game! The number and quality of levels was great. I thought the second to last level was kind of a difficulty spike compared to the last, but it wasn't bad!
Oct 9 03:28:05 23h 47m The Door of Illusions ♥ 1 I really liked the idea, it was cool and really moody to have this kind of puzzleish thing. I think the music, and the way the music slowed down at the end, was really really fitting. Really nice!
Oct 9 03:38:55 10m 50s The Stabilizer ♥ 1 Really cool idea. At first, the presentation kind of looked difficult to understand and weird, and it wasn't great, but the gameplay underneath was really cool! I liked the pathing and tradeoffs between time and getting where you needed to go. Great job!
Oct 9 03:46:14 7m 19s penguin.exe ♥ 1 Really cool idea, I really appreciated the windows XP theming! I don't know if it's me being weird or the game, but it seemed I had to click on files then click again to drag them. If that were fixed, it'd be a lot more fun to play!
Oct 9 03:50:21 4m 07s Defence Extraction ♥ 1 Interesting idea, but I had a lot of trouble feeling agency in the game. I couldn't move the ball very quickly, and once a piece of debris hit my bar thing, I couldn't get it off of it without dropping the ball.
Oct 9 03:59:24 9m 03s JennyBee ♥ 1 Really creative use of the theme. It'd be nice if ants couldn't get stuck where you can't get to them. Those kind of felt bad, as there was no way to stop them after a certain point. Otherwise, the concept was really fun!
Oct 9 04:09:59 10m 35s Crazy Cauldron ♥ 1 I got 1657! Really really pretty game! I think a little more differentation in colors would be nice. Sometimes it was hard to tell if the color I got was right, or close enough. Otherwise, well done!
Oct 9 19:56:45 15h 46m Beat Server ♥ 2 Really cool take on rhythm games! I found the voiceover charming, and the graphics fit the mood really well! The music was easy to follow, and the feel of hitting each note was really good! The inclusion of a high score board is really nice, the streak is nice as well. I found the way each note presented itself kind of hard to follow. I had to look back and forth. The green overlay on the screens wasn't quite eyecatching enough to follow in my peripheral vision. I found when I was able to maintain fast streaks, it wasn't because I was reading the notes, but because I could follow them already knowing them from previous patterns. I think maybe a more eyecatching graphic on the screens would make following them more about reading, and less about instinct. They were also quite far apart, which lent to this effect. Even with that issue, it was a really satisfying game! Well done!
Oct 20 02:22:50 246h 26m Crysterra ♥ 1 Very interesting tactics-like game! After learning the mechanics, I really enjoyed it. The graphics were really charming and smooth, especially the way it transitioned between different board-states. The sound effects were fitting, and everything was fairly charming! I did feel like it was kind of limited by the ways it presented information to the player. I never really knew where I could move, or how much it would cost, without mousing over tiles. An overlay would really help in communicating this. As well, with my ranged units, I didn't know where they could shoot, and it took me a while to figure out I could shoot as far as I wanted, so long as nothing was in the way. Communicating this would really improve the game feel. As well, I wanted to be able to click on the units vs only being able to click on their names.
Oct 20 02:28:40 5m 50s Asterogunner ♥ 0 The art was really nice! I found the way you shoot rather unintuitive, I didn't realize it was point-to-shoot an area, I kind of expected the gun to move. I thought the recoil pattern was a bit much, I couldn't hit many of the asteroids even when they were very large. Having it cross the center of where you're shooting sometimes would be nice. As well, I thought the way some asteroids would be larger than others, even when further away, was kind of confusing. I didn't mind the distance text, but communicating some other way how close the asteroids were could be nice!
Oct 20 02:54:07 25m 27s Black Ice Fracture ♥ 0 The levels were really fun! I liked the take on the traditional failing ice puzzle! I found the movement a bit weird, I dunno that tank controls really added much. I often found myself accidentally skimming the edges of tiles in normal motion. Overall really fun though! I do think it could've done with some music as well.
Oct 20 03:14:11 20m 04s fixOS ♥ 1 Really cool! It felt really detective-like to me. Things were a bit cryptic sometimes, but I figured it out, so really no critique overall!
Oct 20 03:27:10 12m 59s STORM HARVEST ♥ 0 Really cool game - the amount of missions was really impressive. Shooting was kind of undercommunicated. I didn't understand the lock on mechanic, then didn't know I could shoot later. I also found the amount of hits the enemies took kind of excessive, especially with how hard it was to hit them. Overall pretty cool!
Oct 20 03:47:56 20m 46s Doc. Noggin ♥ 1 Really loved the game! It really reminded me of some of the jank of NES/SNES era games! The music was great, and the simple mechanics fit very nicely. I thought the travel-back timer on some levels was really really hard, and it's be nice if that was a little easier. Avoiding hits was really hard due to the way the weapon worked, which also made that travel-back level even harder. Overall it was really nice - great job!
Oct 21 02:22:33 22h 34m A boat in the storm ♥ 1 Really cool idea, I was impressed at how well the simple art style worked! The motion of the boat was really effective, but I did feel the end came rather surprisingly. A bit more indication of how far is too far to tip would be nice.
