Lovely concept, the color coding helps a lot. I would consider a bit of a warning as to which tiles were going to move so that players can plan a bit.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD49 → Hexy Unstable

Nice concept, but it would be nice to have at least couple of weapons and for progress :)
Like they said, a nice concept, i really enjoy the idea to split them ! Your attack animation is too small i think. Well played for this game !
cool game! i like the graphics and hex maps
Pretty little game! I think the transitions really made the game feel a lot better. I found avoiding enemy damage rather hard. The hit stun was really short and without knockback, and you could easily get too close. As such, I didn't really get very far. It was fun anyway, good job!
Nice game. I liked the concept of enemies. It turned out interesting
Simple but interesting idea. Good job!
Nice graphics. The game would greatly benefit of any sort of progression system.
Nice idea and I like your characters sunglasses and mohawk!
Simple and fun!
Interesting concept, but there was no real advantage or disadvantage to the ground changing, or did I miss something? The art was nice, especially the ground transitions. Attacks could need more impact and effects, I safely killed all enemies by running from them while spamming attack. Some of my enemies also just disappeared and then some "shadows" started flying around outside the map. Overall pretty good.
There's potential here, but I'd echo what other commenters already said. Larger attack animation, knockback, and the addition of sound effects as well as music would be ideal. For your first jam though, you did well! A working game with a decent level of visual polish is more than some can say!
its interesting, but there was no objective.
Nice game with pretty cool art.
The mechanics of space shifting makes some interesting possibilities for the player to interact with the enemy. Also the splitting and joining of the enemy is very smooth and quite juicy!
However, while playing I really wished for the ability to shift the land on my own command instead of being able to simply attack. It would create a totally different kind of challenge and move beyond simple hacking and slashing. Also a dash or run could be useful features considering that the enemy in the game is moving faster than the player.
