| Apr 27 02:07:07 | Mandahlia | ♥ 3 | Echoing the previous commenter, absolutely beautiful looking game! I also had the problem with the start button but it wasn't much of an issue. I got 40 on my first run though. I kind of expected the blobs that were moving in a circle to kill me, but they didn't seem to. Just a beautiful relaxing stroll to the center. Just what I needed after the LD! Great job! | |
| Apr 27 03:16:52 | 1h 09m | Time Tourist | ♥ 3 | When I go to run the file it says "Failed to load mono". I believe this is because you didn't include the "MonoBleedingEdge" folder from unity. Please @ me in the comment if you update it so I can try it! |
| Apr 27 03:28:08 | 11m 16s | SLING-MAN AND THE CHASM OF 1000 WORRIES | ♥ 3 | High score was 6640! Try as I might I couldn't get through the first round or two of spike enemies. I always slung myself on em! I do wish there was more feedback for the "slinging", I couldn't tell how far the guy was planning on going. |
| Apr 27 04:21:27 | 53m 19s | Y-Sokombanator | ♥ 3 | What a sokoban game! If you could've watched me play it, many explitives of excitement and gratification were said. What a sokoban game again! Even the music with the different colors. What an amazing game! |
| Apr 27 04:55:08 | 33m 41s | We Have to Go Deeper! | ♥ 1 | What a speedrunnable game! I appreciate the online leaderboards, I'm the "100" that fell short of 100. The art's beautiful! While I wasn't a big fan of the uncontrolability of the controls I found they worked *for* me when I realized that while "charging" I slowed down. Beyond that - the speedrunning was really fun - and props to the writer! I found the lines super fun to voice! |
| Apr 27 06:02:45 | 1h 07m | Penguin Paradise | ♥ 2 | Interesting townbuilder but the kind of friction to play put me off. I waited time to build things then I waited to research then I could play. I really don't like the "this is a jam" but I played this like an idle game and idle games are things that I play while working, not while trying to intentionally enjoy games. It just didn't work for me. Also, I finally got to the igloo penguins and couldn't figure out how to proceede. Now - the art was great - though the hitboxes were a bit off. I think with a bit of graphical interest and a bit of tuning this could be an interesting little townbuilder. As it stands - I think it kinda rides the line between townbuilder and idle game |
| Apr 27 06:12:38 | 9m 53s | Pedro | ♥ 4 | Really cute graphics! At the speed I wanted to play it, I could barely avoid the obstacles. My best depth was 186m! |
| Apr 27 06:30:23 | 17m 45s | Oiligarch | ♥ 1 | As much as an anti-oil person as I am, interesting game! I felt the lulls in truck shipment times might be better smoother over by smooth production but overall great entry. |
| Apr 27 06:38:26 | 8m 03s | One-Butt Alien Corridor | ♥ 1 | The management was way more challenging than I expected! As I tried to focus all fire on the largest of the large, I had trouble defending my sides and my back. A bit faster control and a bit more feedback and this has the bones of a great game! |
| Apr 27 07:11:41 | 33m 15s | Swing Shroom | ♥ 1 | The graphics and theme were super cute, but the controls felt clunky and imprecise. There was a specific part where you swung from one platform into a "hidden" pocket, but then there wasn't any way out of that pocket other than to attempt to climb with your rope, which was extremely frustrating and may have been impossible. The level design was also rather confusing and felt like it should have been more open-ended than it actually was. You could clearly see future areas of the map that you could theoretically get to easily, and even that I did occasionally reach, but half the time you try there's a mysterious kill plane or the camera stops and lets you fall to your death. |
| Apr 27 14:51:15 | 7h 39m | Deep Randomizer | ♥ 1 | I've gotta say, the time limit really tested my reading comprehension skills. Reading, figuring out what it means, and then figuring out where to put the mouse was a lot for just 6 or 7 seconds. I think a little help parsing the instructions might be nice, highlighting key works like "Right", "Left", "Laser" and so on. Otherwise fun little game! The stars always killed me, dang going through walls. |
| Apr 27 15:06:07 | 14m 52s | WordGeddon | ♥ 0 | Hard little word-finder! I tried hard a few times but had a lot of trouble getting past 4 rounds, so I played easy. I do wish that after you reached the required score you could skip to the next round, it took a lot of waiting to get further down. The animations were super fun though, I really appreciate em! |
| Apr 27 15:20:08 | 14m 01s | Crumbling Caves | ♥ 2 | Definitely super polished! It took me a second to figure out what the timer meant, but by the time I reached depth 16 the cave collapses killed me! I felt the movement was a bit sluggish and at a certain point it felt like I couldn't take the time to kill enough enemies to get blueprints, but aside from that super fun game! |
| Apr 27 16:57:27 | 1h 37m | blank | ♥ 1 | Made it to the first boss but couldn't kill it, great entry! The music was awesome. I had some problems with some of the enemies being kind of unavoidable, if you were moving fast enough. The fish sometimes got stuck inside the ship, but overall it was a lot of fun! |
| Apr 27 23:58:50 | 7h 01m | The Deep Woods is finish and you can play it !!!! | ♥ 1 | I liked the theming, but once it got dark I totally lost the road even with the torch. The amount of assets made it run rather slow, and a lot of them were floating. |
| Apr 28 00:14:33 | 15m 43s | Frog | ♥ 2 | Absolutely wild that you all made a great NES game in 72 hours! The music was great - I missed it on my first playthrough and had to restart to hear it, had my emulator muted. Once I got the hang of the controls it was a ton of fun! I hope you develop it into a longer game. Keep the clipping bug, seems like it might be useful for speedruns 👀 |
| Apr 28 00:23:41 | 9m 08s | Woompers' Ice Age | ♥ 3 | Cute game, fun concept. Really easy to get stuck and for the woompers to get stuck, although that might be because I didn't realize you could move the mushrooms at first. |
| Apr 28 00:30:49 | 7m 08s | Nightbear | ♥ 5 | Super difficult and stressful to keep track of, but in a fun way. Once you figure it out and you're both scrambling to protect each other, it's a good time. |
| Apr 28 01:22:37 | 51m 48s | Work In Progress | ♥ 2 | @aquarii The link currently points at the user's own computer, which presumably doesn't have your game installed. The best way to host HTML 5 games is through itch.io. It provides free hosting, all you have to do is zip up the files and upload them! I look forward to playing this when it's playable. |
| Apr 28 01:34:20 | 11m 43s | Reza's Story | ♥ 1 | Interesting entry, you don't see too many story-based games. I was really interested in what happened to Reza, though I'm not sure if I understood the end. If anything, the only thing I'd add is a little crosshair - watering the garden was tough. |
| Apr 28 01:45:05 | 10m 45s | Oumuamua - From Outer Space to Deeper and Deepr Down the Well | ♥ 0 | Interesting little orbital mechanics sim. I found myself wanting some goal to reach, as I felt kinda aimless without. Setting up weird paths was fun though, and the audio was good! I did notice the prediction integration didn't quite match the result sometimes, was that intended or a result of the method used? |
| Apr 28 01:53:21 | 8m 16s | Line | ♥ 2 | I got to 400 meters! I have to say, in that 400 m the music did get a bit repetitive. I liked the simple gameplay, but I found the deaths a bit cheap. That said, there were a few really nice moments when I barely got away, which were really fun. |
| Apr 28 01:59:47 | 6m 26s | An Unexpected Mishap in Naval Mine Cove | ♥ 2 | Really fun game! I loved the running around trying to get the ship out of the way, then realizing you were too late and deciding to just get some bailing in. I thought I was smart, I tried to just stay at the bailing station and see if I could bail fast enough to make it. Nope! I got to six or seven water holes and it filled right up. Really cool entry! |
| Apr 28 02:29:35 | 29m 48s | Kerene | ♥ 2 | Really well done game. The controls took some getting used to but by the time I reached the DARK LORD I figured it out. The boss fights were fun, but kinda cheeseable. I found myself trying to safe-spot a lot of enemies, I dunno if that was intended but it worked out for me. Good game! |
| Apr 28 02:48:30 | 18m 55s | MineSystem | ♥ 1 | Fun little clicker, I wish there were some "events" to incentivise looking at the game a bit more, but otherwise well-done! |
| Apr 28 03:18:07 | 29m 37s | What Lies Below | ♥ 1 | What a great game, extremely atmospheric. I'll echo the bits about it being a bit slow at first, but with enough upgrades it was nice. The ending was.... something. Great game. I do wish there were different mechanics as you went down, I was hoping the eyes were enemies or something. |
| Apr 28 03:31:47 | 13m 40s | Deep Dish Delivery | ♥ 2 | Generally pretty nice game! The controls felt kind of slow, and for some reason in the last section my health bar was invisible? But other than that really nice. |
| Apr 28 03:43:19 | 11m 32s | The Undergroundies | ♥ 0 | Interesting theme, the little character was pretty cute. The slowness of the camera was pretty annoying, though. |
| Apr 28 04:14:47 | 31m 28s | Gone Fishing | ♥ 2 | Super fun game, I almost filled out the fishpedia! I agree with the hook being a bit slow, I got kind of frustrated with barely being able to get my hook to fish. Aside from that, I had a couple of bugs. The jellyfish's hitbox was weird, it was like, down and to the left of it. As well, scratchy asked for a catfish and over the span of 5 or 10 minutes there were no catfish, never saw one again. With that said, I had a lot of fun playing it, and enjoyed the surprise at the end. |
| Apr 28 04:23:21 | 8m 34s | Cavity Tycoon | ♥ 1 | Cool game! I liked the digging bit moreso than the building, I wish there was more need to dig! The setting was really creative too! |
| Apr 28 04:34:41 | 11m 20s | Into The Depth | ♥ 2 | Best I got was 3446 m! The basic loop was really good, I found a lot of the time when I died it was as a result of a chain of thing where I got hit, so I tried to get to a health pickup, so I got hit more, and so on. Perfectly stressful! I did think it was a bit slow and the depth counter was a bit too long, but overall well done! |
| Apr 28 04:55:50 | 21m 09s | Deep molatoes | ♥ 3 | I made it to the end! I had trouble keeping all of the molatoes alive, so I decided to just work with one. With the one he was still a bit of a struggle, but slowly, he made his way around, until I ran out of cash. Then I just heard him mining, slowly and steadily, in the darkness. Then I seen rocks falling - once, twice, three times. But he survived. And he came out of the darkness to the diamond. Really really fun game. If their AI was tightened up a bit it'd be perfect! |
| Apr 28 05:08:00 | 12m 10s | Dwoblins | ♥ 1 | Fun little mining game. I also found it pretty easy to evade the zombies once I got the hang of it, I always used the spikes. A little balance and I think it'd be a lot of fun! |
| Apr 28 05:16:26 | 8m 26s | Morning Shift | ♥ 1 | Extremely pretty game, great job on that! Super polished as well! I'll echo the "more!" sentiment from others, I wanted to see more lore, a second stage to the tasks, or perhaps a twist at the end. Great job anyway, I liked the cheeky flavor text when mining too! |
| Apr 28 05:23:09 | 6m 43s | Cliffhanger | ♥ 2 | Fun little game, the AI was really crazy strong! I had a lot of trouble aiming, and it wasn't quite clear at first what I had to hit. Once I figured it out... I managed to kill the AI enemy exactly once! |
| Apr 28 06:03:44 | 40m 35s | Ariel Cleanomancer and the Eldritch Sweep | ♥ 4 | What a cool take on block pushing puzzles! As a connoisseur of sokoban, I was missing an "undo" button, but the puzzles themselves were outstanding. I really liked the ones that made you interweave normal vacuums, pushing, and big vacuums, instead of just setting up then vacuuming. Great game! |
| Apr 28 06:11:02 | 7m 18s | Selkö | ♥ 4 | Really pretty game, the twist at the end was really fun! The puzzles took me a second to figure out but they were fun as well. I just wanted a bit more feedback on whether what I was doing was wrong, or if a thing was possible to get past. |
| Apr 28 06:21:47 | 10m 45s | Crashdown | ♥ 2 | I found the basic gameplay a lot of fun but had some issue with the presentation. Visually it was kind of confusing trying to distinguish between the floor I was on and the floors below, and the enemies below. The tilting was also kind of nauseating. I did beat it though! Only took me three tries. With a little graphical work it would be great! |
| Apr 28 06:31:06 | 9m 19s | Kicks'n'Relics | ♥ 4 | The characters were really cute! I wish there was more to the combat, after a while every combat became "mash D" because the punching and kicking were the best. Really fun looking combat though! |
| Apr 28 06:41:45 | 10m 39s | Deep Magic | ♥ 3 | I liked the idea of an RPG deck builder, looking back fondly on Pokemon TCG from the GBC. I found the battles a bit unengaging though, as most of the time you just spammed whatever cards you got, and the text was a bit slow. With a deeper card system and a text skip it could be great! |
| Apr 28 06:58:47 | 17m 02s | BLAST MINER | ♥ 1 | The blasting and mining around is really fun. I'll echo the concerns about difficulty, I found the infinite spawners to make everything kind of either too easy or almost impossible. I like the idea of having to dig wells to stop them but in practice I found that to not work very well due to the movement. Perhaps that could work with a bit of change to level design, but it was really fun. |
| Apr 29 06:58:12 | 23h 59m | Aquarius | ♥ 1 | Really beautiful game! If anything, I wish the creatures reacted to me a bit more, I wanted to get on the whale's back! |
| Apr 29 07:19:16 | 21m 04s | Subterplane | ♥ 1 | What a cool game! I got 644 meters. I'm kind of an aviation nerd so I really appreciated the mechanics. The way the plane kept an attitude was kind of weird from a mechanics standpoint, meaning if I got in a stall it was very hard to recover, because I'd have to control the plane's pitch all the way down instead of the dynamics of flight doing some of the work. I understand it's a balancing game between feeling player controlled and feeling like a paper airplane, but I think a little bit of pitch variation with speed and stalling would be nice. Other than that, I felt there was a bit too much momentum in pitching up and down. It was super easy to get into an unrecoverable oscillation. Perhaps a bit more fine control would help. I still played the game like 20 times, so don't take the criticism too harshly, I'm talking this much because I liked it a lot! |
| Apr 29 07:29:44 | 10m 28s | Deeper Than You Think | ♥ 1 | I also made too many O2 purchases and didn't have the flashlight for the dark exploration, though I soldiered on and got enough! I found once I got down to flashlight depths, I really didn't want to come back up because of the time involved. Movement was just very slow and tedious. Having a bit more speed, and a bit more direction on when the flashlight is required would be nice! |
| May 18 05:50:59 | 454h 21m | Mine Flower | ♥ 1 | I might've broken the game 😅. Somehow about halfway down, after collecting a few crystals, I fell into spikes and didn't get hurt. Then I got to the end and fought the skeletons and still didn't take any damage. I honestly kinda appreciated it because it let me try a hard jump a few times over. I found the controls for the wall-climb stuff a little awkward, mostly the way you had to hold X and wait a second before jumping. I like the idea though! Fun little entry, if a little buggy. |
| May 18 06:01:26 | 10m 27s | Caves of the Forgotten | ♥ 0 | The graphics and bits of story were really fun, the twist at the end was great! I found the gameplay a bit slow, I wanted a dash or something. I also kind of wanted some more puzzling. Everything I had to do was a bit too straightforward and not technically challenging, though not quite calm enough for a walking simulator. |
| May 18 06:10:04 | 8m 38s | The Before Times | ♥ 1 | Absolutely expected it to be a horror game. After getting past that, it was a fun little experience. The way the character explained it was sunny outside while it was black was a bit off. I think if that was fixed it might've helped the creepy atmosphere a little. Otherwise good job! |
| May 18 06:32:40 | 22m 36s | Into the Deep | ♥ 0 | Fun little game. The biggest criticism I have is the text was hard to read, seemed like some kind of bilinear filtering thing. Aside from that, I found the difficulty to be a little spikey. I'd be cruising down the level and then BAM, bullet hell. The little shakey things that shot two projectiles were bit in that, shooting a ton of stuff directly at me. It was still fun, just maybe a little out of pace with the player's power. |
| May 18 06:39:09 | 6m 29s | Will and Testament | ♥ 0 | The digging looked and felt great! I also liked the fun little blurbs at the beginning of each level. It was just a bit slow and boring, nothing surprising in the level besides the goal. With a little more content this could be a nice relaxing little game! |
| May 18 06:55:52 | 16m 43s | The Tree | ♥ 1 | Really quality game! I noticed some of the problems with the root graphics but they were really no issue while playing. I did find the water/sun thing kind of imbalanced though. It was hard to grow fast enough to use all of my water without falling, but I always needed more sun. With a little balance and polish this could already be a fun mobile game! |
