What a great game! Scratchy's challenges add a layer of thought to your fishing, the graphics are delightful, and it has all that fun rhythm of cast and catch that fishing games do so well. Loved getting to go deeper with my fancy new rods ;D

I thought this game was really good. The sound gets better the deeper you go.
One problem to me is that fish at deeper levels just don't yield enough money for the time it takes to get down there.
Very relaxing game and fun to look out for new species of fish!
Adorable game! I especially loved the cat-fish :laughing: If I had to suggest something, I would recommend having the splash animation not cover the entire screen, but that's just a nitpick.

The game looks and feels great! I would really love to see a downloadable PC version though - the WebGL version lags way too much for me to be able to experience it properly =\
This game reminds me of a lot of classic Flash/Newgrounds games with the incremental shop mechanic, which was cool! I also like how the soundtrack changes as you go deeper.
Loved art style and really enjoyed the calming atmosphere of the game. The gameplay was simple but fun. If I could make a suggestion though, I would've liked to be able to speed up the reeling up of the rod if I hooked the max amount of fish for my rod.
Wow this is adorable! I loved every fish's design, though ran into some trouble as scratchy was looking for a fish that I believe was in the third section, but the money was moving in so slowly I gave up before getting that far. The music was absolutely perfect, and I could easily imagine a younger version of myself sinking hours upon hours into this. Well done.
Wow the game looks really beautiful, I do like how the fisher and fish look in general, those arts are tiiiiight!!! Hope you guys keep the good work coming. It does lag a bit to be honest, but those efficiency problems take time to fix...
Definitely one of my favorites of the games I've played this jam! I love the art so much, and the scratchy's stall and the fishpedia were really nice touches!! The way the hook is controlled by the mouse was a little tough to get used to, but it got better with speed upgrades and I got used to it. Really great game, awesome job!! :)
The art is amazing and the fish designs are extremely good. But the gameplay could probably be tightened up a little with more money for fish and a faster reel from the start. Otherwise rly relaxing game.
A very calming and peaceful game. There's quite a lot of fun content with so many new and cool fish to find! The progression is a little slow for my taste, but in the right mood I could easily see myself spending a few hours playing just to relax. The music is very lovely and I love how it changes instrumentation as you get deeper!
The fish look great! I would have liked a slightly faster pace (maybe just a faster rod at the beginning).I liked the collection aspect with the fishipedia as well.
I agree with others that the pace is maybe a bit too slow. Hook speed and fish spawn rates would probably benefit from a boost. Scratchy's stall being combined with the shop panel would make for a nice UI optimization.
But the core loop is really solid! I spent way longer playing this than expected :) The fishpedia is a really good touch to keep the player interested. The art is super charming (some of the fish designs are really funny and cute), and the music changing as you go deeper is a super nice touch. Really, really good overall!
This game is just so cute! The art is great in general and I was really impressed with the music. The sound effects give the game a goofy vibe.
The collection aspect is right up my alley, and I found myself playing for quite a while! I do agree that it takes a while to get going, but fishing games are about patience, right? The reel sound got a little grating after a while, but that's my only real complaint. Very nice job!
Super fun game, I almost filled out the fishpedia! I agree with the hook being a bit slow, I got kind of frustrated with barely being able to get my hook to fish. Aside from that, I had a couple of bugs. The jellyfish's hitbox was weird, it was like, down and to the left of it. As well, scratchy asked for a catfish and over the span of 5 or 10 minutes there were no catfish, never saw one again. With that said, I had a lot of fun playing it, and enjoyed the surprise at the end.
This is such a good time. I watched a streamer play it for quite a bit and still found huge enjoyment in playing it myself. I ended up missing out on 4 fish. For some reason the clown fish, crab, marlin, and blue tang never appeared. I really enjoyed this. Also found a possible bug (web build) - when using bait, the bait total doesn't update unless you buy from the shop. For example, it showed I had 10 bait until I bought something else and then it updated to 2 or something.

I really, really love the graphics combination of 3D and 2d. The game itself was a lot of fun. I like the upgrades and different fish sprites.
There were a *ton* of fish :fish: :blowfish: :tropical_fish: :sushi: congrats on making so many :smile: Must have been fun.
It was cool that the music changed as you went deeper! It helped keep the game fresh as you progressed!
I also appreciated getting a fat pay day from rare fish :sunglasses:

Well done :smile_cat: I like the variety and creativity of the fish. I managed to get all but one type. The flash light option was not purchasable not sure if that was a bug or it just got cut for time. I broke the music transition a few times trying to dodge fish at the split point.
