A building game in a Jam? What an epic game :D

A building game in a Jam? What an epic game :D
I love the setting of this game! My main critique is that I would sometimes get a game over and it was unclear why I lost.
Really interesting idea! I love the thought of eventually building a cavity empire and taking over the mouth in a full version of this. I also love the character's animations! Nice work!
Did I just... build a colony... inside a tooth?
My big critique would be that it feels like the threat mechanic was too harsh. Because digging increases threat, you cant dig or explore as much as I wanted. I spent a lot of time just waiting for the next brush or meal.
I couldn't tell the difference between the buildings really. Once I had one each of the first two, I started winning, and then it didn't really matter what I did as long as I didn't dig too much.
Neat idea, clever use of the theme!
Interesting fusion of the usual miner style and a builder/idle game.
For some reason I spent a lot of time trying to build with m1 instead of m2, and thought the game was broken. Might just be post-LD brain drain, but once I realized m2 places everything worked as expected.
The threat mechanic isn't super well explained, I sorta felt it out but it's not super clear to me why it goes down.
I would have liked to see the buildings expanded upon a bit more. For example, maybe making sugar more of a necessary resource, and buildings become more or less required to start scaling outward. In the current design I found by the time I built one of everything I just won.
Graphics are cute. Overall pretty neat!
art was quite nice on the eyes, and your idea is very original! nice work
Not sure how I won but I did it haha, great art and cool idea!
I really liked the setting and the artwork, building a colony inside a person's mouth is just an awesome idea. The mechanics were a little fuzzy to me and it took trial and error to figure out what I was doing, and why I was dying haha, but hey, tutorials can't really be the first priority in a game made in 72 hours. Overall I thought this was a really fun idea. Good job!
Really out of the box concept, I dig the creativity! The screen got super shaky for ~5 seconds once, is that an event that was triggered or ?? something going awry-- I wasn't sure. Fun game and neat take on the jam's theme. Well done.
This was great! The only problem really is having the game suddenly tell I won, the "win" rate grows up too fast while I wanted to keep playing (I actually played 4 or 5 times in a row trying to explore but got disappointed every time I won too fast). Make the game more long lasting, maybe tweaking how the victory condition works (change it to population?) and this is a winner. Also, you could implement a full view of the map once you win/lose so you could see all the structures you built on some poor soul's cavity filled teeth.
Cool game! I liked the digging bit moreso than the building, I wish there was more need to dig! The setting was really creative too!
Interesting concept. Felt a bit like simcity in a tooth. Good effects such as when brushing etc.
Really nice game, although the end goal could be more pronounced, i had no idea what am i supposed to do, and why am i even losing if i get too much threat
Gameplay could be faster, but I like it overall
I didn't get to see the Timmy's or the Office which is a little sad, but I thought the concept of creating a cavity population was fun! I think a different method to alleviate threat would be great in addition to having the win be a little harder, but overall really cool for a jam entry!
Nifty game! Would be nice if we could hold down the mouse button to mine. It also felt like there was never any threats in the game? I think it could use some kind of mechanic that made the game harder, or at least something to build towards (other than just buildings to get win points), but i liked the overall concept!
