|---|---|---|---|
| Artifact Hunt | There's not much to do here, but the visuals are simply amazing! | ||
| Arks of Mercy | I found it a bit hard to grasp what I was supposed to be doing. The teleports were cool, but are the big buildings supposed to take that long to be built? The game felt very stable and solid. | ||
| Hockey Island | Great fun! I doubt many would've thought of the theme this way. x) | ||
| Islands of the Stone God | Interesting idea. There were some technical flaws here and there (scrolling), but nothing too bad. I couldn't totally figure out what I was supposed to do in the later levels, though. | ||
| Keytrader | Interesting mechanic! I didn't quite grasp how everything was supposed to work, and I'm sure holding down the letters wasn't really necessary, but I certainly felt the potential here. :) | ||
| Traffic Island | Couldn't get this to run without crashing. :( | ||
| A Fishing Adventure | Interesting mechanic! The movement was a bit slippery, but the puzzles were sure fun. | ||
| Whales of Aelia | I think I managed to grasp the gameplay, and it was quite fun. However, the font was very hard to read, I had problems understanding what everything said. ;) | ||
| Isolated | I couldn't figure the talking mechanism out, either. | ||
| Pleochorism | I really would recommend adding the possibility to hold the arrow buttons! The puzzle idea was mind-bending in a very good way. | ||
| BRAVE ISLAND DIVER | Excellent game mechanic! The scanlines made my eyes bleed because the resize was a bit off on my computer, but otherwise I enjoyed it a lot! | ||
| You are me now | Nice gameplay mechanics! I think you could've done the same with much smaller game area, though... | ||
| Larma and the Missing Island | Amazing stuff, apart from the ripped music! I couldn't entirely figure how I was supposed to do the drumming, but the animation tool was really cool. | ||
| ICELAND, OR: How I learned to stop caring and love Eyjafjallajokull | So simple, yet so addictive. I really liked this entry, and the water effects, while seemingly decorative, added a great lot of immersion! | ||
| Beebop The Island Hopper | Simple but addictive. Very good. | ||
| Hungry for Island | This was very fun to play! It was really satisfying to see the forks take pieces of the islands. The targetting was quite awkward, though. | ||
| Tiny Armada | This is really wonderful. I couldn't get very far myself, but it's really a mark of a good game if just watching the computer players is entertaining! Certainly a very polished and promising game - I hope you'll continue to work on this. | ||
| Island Hopping | Great idea and implementation, apart from one thing - why do I jump with space and restart with Enter? Unintuitive. | ||
| Deep Under an Island | You didn't really use the mechanic at it's best, but graphics are superb and the gameplay is definitely fun nonetheless! | ||
| Wow, Islands And Stuff!! | Very enjoyable! The level design was mostly very good, and you had managed to make the game feel fun to play. :) | ||
| Island Defender | good and simple idea. The "noise" -effect looks great, and the soundtrack is very cool! There could have been a bit more variety in the gameplay, perhaps. | ||
| Roller-Derby 20XX: Mega Islands of Awesome | Interesting! There seems to be something slightly fishy with the collisions between the player and the enemies, but otherwise this was very enjoyable! | ||
| Rocket Bike To Space | Very cool, but a tad bit too hard for my tastes. ;) | ||
| ROW, FUCK!!! | Excellent fun! The boat was a bit too fast to be controlled, but the Dino Run-esque advancing wall of doom made the game real fun! | ||
| I HATE ISLANDS | Haha, this was very funny! The controls were a bit dodgy, though | ||
| Nuclear Test | Wow! I really loved this! The idea was cool, and the ending actually had a pretty big impact on me. :) | ||
| Pee Wee Pirates | Simple, but very fun to play! If only controlling the ship was a bit more fluid! | ||
| The Lost Hebrides | Excellent atmosphere! In the end the game was not much else but looking for the ship upgrade and then getting there, but during the first playthrough it was very cool. | ||
| Jealous Gods | This was great fun to play! Add some more strategy and you've got an excellent game! :) The island people added greatly to the experience. | ||
| Super Island Colonizer | I got a very strange error message upon opening, which allowed me to try to continue by ignoring. Doing this made the game crash. It's hard to translate the contents of the error from Finnish. | ||
| Rescue the Stranded! | triplefox quite much said everything I had in mind. :) The sound of returning 20 people at once was addicting! | ||
| Eden Island | Great graphics and interesting gameplay! I'd love to see more plants and animals, though. | ||
| A Practical Survival Guide for Robots | The gameplay elements are a bit thin, but this is sure a good start! The music is also very good. | ||
| Stuck | What eli said, 404'd. :( | ||
| No^Man | Today I Die? :)

I managed to push the character through the ground with the words. Nice puzzles. | ||
| Islands: Through the Sweep of Stars | These are way too hard for me. Nice art! | ||
| The Adventures of Archie Pegalo | Surprisingly large and interesting! Very good graphics, too! | ||
| Island Planet! | I found it hard to figure out how to attack! But the game seemed very cool. | ||
| Eviction | Addicting! It's a bit annoying that the enemies take so many hits that the only way to land enough bullets is to stay on a ladder. I was also surprised by the fact that I could fall through the bottom area of the level. | ||
| ChickenPost! | Great graphics, but a bit clumsy gameplay. | ||
| Radio Silence | It's a shame that you didn't have time to properly polish this out! The radio system was very interesting, and I would've loved to see some underwater scenes or something. | ||
| Mauritius | The movement is perhaps a bit too fast, but overall this was a very enjoyable game! I would definitely have liked some checkpoints here and there, though. ;) | ||
| Artillery Isles | The idea was interesting, but I won all the levels by just spamming rockets. Definitely has potential! | ||
| Pirate Panic | Very hard, but also highly enjoyable! The red guys were a bit unpredictable, but otherwise it was interesting to think of a strategy to beat the levels! | ||
| Island Rescue | It was very hard for me, I couldn't think of a good way to save the villager at all.

Solid concept and good work. Nice musics, too. | ||
| Tropical Vampires | hehe, classy. | ||
| Poke-Slayer | hehe, hilarious. F-secure reported the game as "suspicious program", but I guess there's nothing to worry about? | ||
| Capsize! feat Rep. Johnson vs. DJ Admiral | F-Secure blocked it as a "suspicious program". Probably a false positive, but could you ensure this? | ||
| Hairgel Quest | I think others have said quite much everything needed. The humour was great, but it was a bit of a chore to move around. | ||
| Hula Girl HD | we don't have enough rhythm games in LD, this was a great one! A bit missing the theme, though. | ||
| Iceland and the volcanic ASH of DOOM | Yes, the controls are tricky. Funny idea, and otherwise good implementation! | ||
| Pedestrian Voter | Excellent use of the theme! The game was rather humorous, but lacked a bit in the gameplay department. | ||
| Islands Far Away | I couldn't get anywhere. It'd be nice to get some sort of guide here! ;D | ||
| Zombie Island | Great fun! The movement was funnily retro, and the graphical style stuck me as very cool (perhaps a bit amateurish in the sprites, but the impact added by the noise makes it up very well)! | ||
| Island Airline | It crashes with the default windows crash message as soon as I open it. Darn it, this looked interesting. :( | ||
| SautEUR | Very cool idea! It's adds some cool extra tension to platforming when you have to look out from drowning. I didn't realize though that you could bite with space. | ||
| Baby Leviathan: Eat All Fishies | As others have said, there's not much to play here, but the control scheme is definitely cool! I'd love to see this used somewhere. | ||
| Invasive | The engine is a bit clumsy, but I loved watching those tiny dots running all over the place, and the kiwi population slowly decreasing. :) | ||
| Island Tour Racing | Beat it. There isn't much here, and the game's very easy, but I guess you could create something fun onto this base. :) | ||
| Island Conflict | I think people have mostly said what I had in mind. I see a very good base to start building on, this could become a very cool game! | ||
| Island Survivor | "cannot download file" | ||
| Isolated Empire | It doesn't open for me. :( | ||
| Every Man Is An Island | I like the simplicity here! The scrolling is a bit of a laggy sort, but otherwise the gameplay felt nice. :) | ||
| Piratey Tycoon | I agree with the others, it was a bit dry as an experience. You had managed to get a lot into it, though! | ||
| Aah Little Atlantis | Very very promising! The game looks great and I think the game idea is very well thought out. It's a bit complicated for me, though. | ||
| Island Balance | Haha, You should totally tell about the jump button! ;D Quite fun, but indeed, requires more meat. | ||
| Hungry Hungry Castaways | Addicting, but quite far from the theme, I think. | ||
| On an Iron Isle | Very hard indeed. The aiming system is quite difficult to use, but the effects sure looked cool! | ||
| Windsurfing ! | I don't have a gamepad. Besides, I couldn't make heads or tails of the download page, because I don't know the language. | ||
| Micro Silent Hunter | Certainly promising, if a bit confusing as it is. | ||
| Voyage for the Queen | For some reason, Silverlight doesn't seem to load properly on my computer, even after I got the newest version. | ||
| Island of Darkness | It's a start. | ||
| Cartograph | Nice multitask-esque idea. I really enjoyed playing this. :) | ||
| Mad Hatter Island | Doesn't really represent the theme, but the platforming was fun for a few minutes. | ||
| Crowned in Doubt | As Zombuster said, the game didn't represent the theme very well. Perhaps "an island of light in the sea of doubts"? I wonder if it was intentional that you didn't have to close your light, shaking it enough made it recharge faster than it ran out. Interesting narration! | ||
| Loneliness | Excellent depiction of the theme! I really loved the message of this. | ||
| a bridge too far | I actually quite enjoyed this! Simple idea but fun to play. | ||
| Simon Haigh's Pirates! | I found the gameplay quite fun! It could be definitely made better with less running around, though. As others have said, this is a solo thing, so even though the musics are great, I guess I can't rate them. | ||
| Awesome LifeBoat Game | There isn't much to do here, but that's definitely still something. | ||
| Giant Floating Island Adventure | Looks great, but the gameplay is quite tedious. | ||
| Dnalsi | This one has a lot of potential! As Almost said, the player is hard to be found, the HUD is hard to read and I couldn't really understand what I was supposed to be doing, but the map generation is very good and I could definitely see myself playing a more worked-on version of this! :) | ||
| Floatation | One of the most addicting entries I've played. The UI was a bit difficult to learn, I disliked the way you didn't select ships but islands instead. I had very much fun defeating the computer player! | ||
| Golden | I suggest using rapidshare - uploading.com had me waiting 70 seconds! :D

With some improvements this could become a fairly cool game! ;) | ||
| Hovergirl in Island World | Darn, it looked nice. :( | ||
| Island Abduction | I hope you get a Windows port up! :) | ||
| These cannons fire too fast | I really like the way the cannons work, it definitely adds more strategy to the game! The ship is perhaps a bit too slow in the beginning. | ||
| Island Construction Malfunction | "Your computer lacks direct3d9.dll" I'm very much sure I do have that! | ||
| WeComeFromTheSkies | A bit complicated to play, but the looks are cool and the idea is solid. | ||
| Elementary My Dear Watson | It seems that I can't open the game. When I open the .bat, nothing happens. | ||
| Island Defender | The .zip file doesn't count was a Web application, hehe. ;)

Very ambitious for a 48h compo! Works quite nicely, though those darn enemies just ignored my soldiers while killing my poor peasants! | ||
| Island Warz | Nice touch of strategy. The game wasn't very hard, and it seemed that occasionally the inhabitants on my islands decreased instead of rising as I sent more boats on them. | ||
| Island Towers | It crashes upon opening, no matter what I try. Darn, I like TDs! :( | ||
| Jetpack Island | Couldn't get this to work. The download file says constantly "cannot download file", even after installing the framework. | ||
| AlienIslands | I'd love to explore the landscape with a properly-working platform engine! | ||
| Island Warriors | "Warning: the applet failed to run." | ||
| Whales Deep | There wasn't much to do here, sadly. The whale sounded rather funny, in a good way! | ||
| Islands Survival | Quite simple, but good fun for a while. I couldn't figure out what the upper counter meant. | ||
| Lonesome Flotsam | You've made a good effort creating lots of stuff to do, but I think you might've been more successful if the islands weren't so big and empty. Also I stopped losing energy after a couple cannon hits. Also the axe controls were hard to figure out. | ||
| Island of the Mind | The download link seems to be broken. | ||
| Coconut Island | The engine was quite buggy, which made it hard for me to enjoy the game. | ||
| Island Shoving | I like these kinds of puzzles! It took a while to realize how the controls worked, but after that it was very fun. | ||
| Ilopocalypse | With some optimizing + more content, this'll become great fun. | ||
| Land Ho! | Relaxing. This'd certainly make an interesting game! :) I tried to rotate as fast as possible, causing the boat to effectively fall over and bug, allowing me to move onto the islands. Hehe. | ||
| Arquipelago | F-secure warns about this being a "suspicious program". Yeah, it's probably not true, but I'd like to hear something about this before allowing. | ||
| Floating Islands | the movement mechanic was perhaps a bit too sensitive; I felt I was constantly flying over the islands. Otherwise, solid concept and quite interesting gameplay. | ||
| Napol©on et la punition myst©rieuse ®le du diable | The platform engine was rather counter-intuitive, and I agree with others that the bounding box was a bit fishy. | ||
| Flag Island | The AI was certainly a good challenge! It was very annoying that I couldn't move with WSAD. | ||
| geology | the ship control was quite awful, but I must agree that the water level worked in a very cool way! | ||
| DumDumIsland | Wow, it takes very long time to kill a mook.

There're certainly good parts here, and a nice base, but as it is it doesn't really stand out as very interesting. | ||
| Islands in the Sky | a bit bare-bones, but fun as long as it lasted. | ||
| Pirate | Haha, hilarious. This could become a very interesting game. :) | ||
| Needles | page not found. :( | ||
| Banana Joe | The game lags everytime I jump/collect bananas, and I'm quite sure you've ripped (and then possibly edited) the character sprite from Final Fantasy. The crabs and water also look a bit too familiar. | ||
| Bouncecrab, Starfish Island | The gameplay idea is cool, but the game runs very very quickly, and just holding up + right lets me win every time. Those things together kind of spoil the fun. It's also sad that there's only one level. | ||
| Angry Stan And The Island Of Doom | The game complained about not being able to set video mode, which resulted in the camera being weirdly off.

There isn't much here, yet, but I liked the way you had made there to be a day/night cycle, clouds and other decoration! | ||
| YARGH! Shake Yer Booty! | The controls were a bit clumsy, it felt as if the ship reacted to multiple clicks only after some time, which made navigating slightly difficult. Otherwise a very nice game, you had some great ideas here! :) | ||
| Isle of the Firepiss | Excellent outlook, but the gameplay is a bit awkward. | ||
| NoNameIsland | Cannot open. | ||
| Simulacrum | The movement was a bit too quick for my reflexes. Definitely a solid engine otherwise! | ||
| Zombie Grinder | Haha, funny. I'm not sure how well this represents the theme, but it was certainly fun to play! :D | ||
| Space Island | I get a runtime error as soon as I open the file. It first says that my resolution is too small for the game (1366x768 pixels) and then says that the program tried to act in an "unusual way" and thus had to be aborted. :( | ||
| tailspin | I had real trouble controlling the plane. It went way too fast, and if I let go of the acceleration button, it fell. Otherwise, nice and innovative gameplay. | ||
| Stranded! | I tried all the three files in the folder (the .jar, launch.bat and launch_64bit.bat), but nothing happened. | ||
| Ascention | Interesting way to control the character. The game lacks some meat, but it was surprisingly tricky to realize the order you had to move from platform to platform in. | ||
| Atollery | Cool idea, though I think you could've done the same with much less controls (it was weird to press enter to change between modes). I would never have figured out that you have to go through all the islands. After figuring it out, it sure was great fun! | ||
| 108 seconds of loneliness | Phew! Very hard puzzles, but that is of course a good thing. You had managed to create some cool content in the 48 hours. | ||
| Roach Route | Absolutely fantastic surprise! I was really scared the first time around! | ||
| Ganjisland | I played it for about 10 minutes, but never really figured out how building stuff worked. That said, the idea is really great! | ||
| Islands At War | It crashed upon opening the file. :( |
