Had an awesome atmosphere. Also liked the underwater effect.

Sweet audio experience.

I wouldn't have hated more visual help in regards to finding the sound emitting items, though. It wasn't always clear to me in which direction I needed to go (I was using headphones, better sound setup would have helped perhaps?)

snowyowl

Nicely done. Was there a win condition, or did I just not find all the radios?

pgil

Love the audio, and going for dark and dreary instead of the tropical paradise.

smn

Very dark and atmospheric experience. Also yay for the Cambridge meetup!

increpare

I never found the last trinket - I wandered around but couldn't hear anything. I liked exploring.

shaktool

Just want to say that I did manage to find all the radios, through a combination of headphones, jumping and looking for odd specks in the distance, and avoiding revisiting places I've already been. Nicely done.

brian

I only have one working headphone where I played this and it was probably a better experience than playing with both. Love pretentious art games because they give a glimpse into what could be done with game atmosphere going forward. That said this would've been a much more fun game if it didn't have any visuals and instead used audio cues to signify blockages and whatnot.

I really liked this one, it was definitely a memorable experience. reminded me of WHICH by Mike Inel actually, but mostly because of the dark view when in the water.
I wonder if its odd I found this game quite relaxing...

refrag

Oww my frickin ears! Some of those radio frequencies are brutal! I definitely liked the atmosphere you built up. Great to see you dabbling with Unity. :)

hazman

take that radios!

belbeeno

Sorry to hear you had to essentially lose a day. I really like the look of this game; the minimalist design and flat shading compounded with the ambient noises really make you feel like you're in another world. Also, the sound seek mechanic is cool.

One thing I would suggest: I tried using headphones to help search for the trinkets, but I found that the levels for the water sounds and the radio sounds could have used some tuning (pun); either lowering the splash sound volume or lowering the roll-off factor may have helped, though you want to be careful with the latter as it would cause all the radio frequencies to meld together which could be interesting but would definitely sound terrible at the start.

ExciteMike

Very atmospheric! It got so I was finding them by sight, though. I'm not sure if that was a bug, but there didn't seem to be any sound coming from some of them.

Enjoyed this one a lot. I was very confused at first because I had configured my controls but didn't realize I could use the mouse to look around.

This game is all atmosphere, and well executed. It wasn't hard to find the radios and it was a neat to hear the soundscape (a major part of the atmosphere) change as I did. I wish there had been an "inverted" mouselook; that was actually the biggest challenge for me. :)

pekuja

Very atmospheric. I wish it had a bit more challenge to it, but it was still fun to search for the radios based on sound. Discovering the first one was a good moment.

tembac

Great atmosphere...

jeje, you are not going to do an rpg ever!!!

Is amazing that you managed to do something in only one day. Congratulations.

rogual

Oh wow. I like this; very original. I'm impressed how atmospheric it is for having such simple graphics. It comes off as unfinished, but I certainly like where you were going with it.

SonnyBone

OOH. This fancy.
I liked it very much.

sfernald

Managed to finish this. It is a fun game and I love the atmosphere. Reminded me of some weird old twilight zone or outer limits episode.

Endurion

Love the atmosphere, the non textured low poly area feels quite alien. But why oh why did you put jump on space and not on the mouse. Very unconvenient if you're walking with the cursor keys.
And I didn't find the last radio :(

Almost

This was kind of cool.
I think I relied on audio much less than was intended; I foudn most of them by wandering in a methodical way around each interesting looking island.
And then my screen faded to black. Is this a game over screen? It's kind of like the underwater thing except jumping doesn't make it go away.

jfroco

Great atmosphere. Excellent use of audio. Sometimes and I had to close my eyes to focus on the sound to found all radios. I think it could be better if you die if you stay too long in the water. Great game. Congratulations.

Hempuli

It's a shame that you didn't have time to properly polish this out! The radio system was very interesting, and I would've loved to see some underwater scenes or something.

dertom

Hehe,..yes, really nice! Acually after playing the game the dogs of the neighbor hood came to my house after hearing this "dog-whistle" :D! Nice job...

Jonathan Whiting

Adored the atmosphere. It's a bit of the shame the gameplay wasn't a great deal more than "find the objects" but at least you did something cool with it. I loved the sea radio.

Tozy

WOW! Impresive!

eli

Amazing.
Reminds me of Myst and the new teaser thing they added to Portal. Great game, especially for only one day's work.

I don't really see the connection to the theme, except superficially.

zdanielz

Very odd game, I didn't get what was going on really, I just kept finding these radio tuners.
awesome audio! truly.
