Interesting I haven't seen more of this classic approach to islands. Ran our of water and died though... Not possible to win. Still I liked what you got so far. I liked breaking the boxes.
Yep, this is a winnable game.
I liked the sounds (drinking, eating) and the music riff that played. I guess more sounds would have rounded it off.
I was going to mention the extremely short look-ahead distance, but seeing as there are no enemies or dangers to speak of, I guess it's not that important. I assume you mean to keep crates and berries more surprising.
Yay, all I needed to do is drink from the canteen often enough and voila, I was suddenly saved :)
I would like to see where you wanted to go with this, more items, more possibilities, etc...
I won easily! I think it's because I happened to stumble across two canteens and a fishing pole in moments. That's one huge island. The thing I really didn't like was that the camera didn't scroll until you were about a millimeter from the screen edge. That was maddening.
I love that you put fishing in your game!! There's something about digital fishing that is just entertaining...
