Controls are a bit awkward on Non-US/UK-keyboards, but quiet fun. Nice pixel style and gore factor.

Hempuli

Haha, funny. I'm not sure how well this represents the theme, but it was certainly fun to play! :D

Tried again, also tried reinstalling Java...

Works for me,..nice stuff! After a certain time no individual enemies appeared anymore. But until then it was a good peace of software...good job

Riley Adams

Haha, that was pretty fun, I liked the particle sort of effect for blood and dirt and stuff.

davecheesefish

Sadly doesn't work for me - I just get "Unable to launch the application" with both versions :(

I'm using Windows 7 and Java version 6 update 18

Cooshinator

Ha. I like the attack sound effects

Looks like you took more than a little bit inspiration from River City Ransom. That's ok, but I was kinda hoping the game would have the open style world from RCR. It was kinda fun anyways though, but a little basic, and it seems like it didn't matter how many times you died, and it also seemed like by far the best way to beat zombies up was to do the flying kick over and over again. I did like that you got friends to help you out when you got further. I think that mechanic could be really interesting in a more fleshed out game. I didn't really like the zombie horde following you. It made it so that I was less focused on fighting and more focused on dodging. I suppose that kinda makes sense though.
I was a little disappointed with your use of the theme. The game could had just as easily been in any other setting, and it seems like I was running along the beach the whole time. It would had been interesting if I had started in a forest or something and made my way to the beach.
A couple of technical things: You should probably look into audio compression with MP3 and OGG. 35MB is a lot to download on slow connections. Also, where's the source code?

Dzarg

The idea is quite good, but it seems that it's not possible to lose in this game? If it's meant that way, then there should be something like time bonus and bonus for killing zombies or something like that. Now it feels like it's the same whether I do anything or not in the game. Still it was nice to play and the audio was good.

Endurion

Was kinda fun but the controls were awkward. I was not sure how to do a jump attack (pressing both Y and X at once?)
After a few minutes more and more allies came in (maybe 10 in all) and the whole thing slowed to a crawl.

SonnyBone

Had that total CRASH AND THE BOYS vibe for me.
Nice SFX and music!

I dig the WAVE OF ZOMBIE DEATH chasing you.

jfroco

It reminded me classics beat'em up's. A lot of potential.

PsySal

Looks awesome, but it seems to run rather slowly on my computer. I won't rate it because it's hard to get a handle. Love the RCR style graphics, and the music/sfx is great too!

Okay, I did enjoy this for a bit. The gameplay and collisions seem a bit slippery. It's cool that you get help, but I had like 20 allies all in one pile until a single zombie kicked them all into the mob. I actually laughed out loud when I jumped while knocked down. That's probably a bug, but it's pretty funny! I'm a big fan of Kunio-kun games, so this was nice to see. There didn't seem to be a real goal, though.

Cool! Beat it, but I just started running in the end. Biggest annoyance was that the enemies would form a point later on, and I couldn't kill a single one.
