Works for me now. Even with keyboard controls, the controls feel right! Very nice! Unfortunately, the game is unfinished... it's easy to sail off the water area, and there are no goals or islands. It would be nice to have a wind sock or streamer as well. But as a start, it's very good.
Could not get it to run for me... sorry I wanted to play.
Installed the redist. Looks neat. Hopefully we'll eventually get to see what kind of gameplay you had in mind for this, because there's some interesting potential here.
Pretty cool, although obviously not finished. I'd love to see a complete version though, the idea is neat.

The Good - Interesting idea, good looking water effect...
The Bad - There wasnt an island, or gameplay... this was really boring.
The Ugly - the windsurfboard looked like a sailboat... also there wasnt a person on it... also umm...
Installed the runtime, but it now crashes direct after startup. I do have a gamepad (XBox 360 controller).
Can't run it because my Windows is old. Bummer.
