Fun little game, though the hula girl is a little creepy :)
A small detail: Since my eyes were glued to the glowing purple orbs, I couldn't look up to see what my streak was at the top of the screen. Maybe move it down near the player's total score?
91% is my best so-far two-handed - I got frustrated towards the end and ended up mashing incoherently. It's fun, though! :D
OH MAN, she freaks me out in a major way!
SUCCESS ON THAT!
It's her face. Grey like a zombie! Hula of the dead :)
Nat particularely innovative, but good fun.
AAAHHH!! Hula girl! The miss noise should be a bit quieter.
Hehe,..nice! Ok,..I was not that as two-handed increpare,... good job
I thought I was good at Dance Dance things, this is crazy. 61%. I agree about the evil miss noise, I felt like a loser getting big streams of CRUNCH CRUNCH X X. Intensity indeed.
Made me crack up!!!
In a ryhtm game, the music should probably by in tempo with the game...
Once I managed to ignore the music, it was actually quite fun. Got to 82% or so.
That was strange. :P
It sepeeds up to quikly, we couldn't get used to that velocityes. But we had fun ;)
we don't have enough rhythm games in LD, this was a great one! A bit missing the theme, though.
Beware Activision... competition arises!
Love the creepy graphics. The game looks a lot like rhythm games, but really isn't; this is misleading, but once you figure out what's going on the gameplay is sound. It's pretty confusing when you miss one of the arrows, since it's not obvious whether you should try again or skip it.
On my sixth try, got 100% FC (537642, which I guess is the maximum score unless I don't understand the scoring). http://islands.spacebar.org/screenshots/hulascore-tom7.jpg
Didn't try two-handed, that's nutz.
Game crashes if you try to close it using the [x] on the window, which is a bummer.
Enjoyed this one! :)
Well, that was kinda funny, but annoying to play. You need to match the "steps" to the rhythm of the music. Otherwise it's just Simon.
