For a first attempt its a start on the path to a decent platformer - its all about learning! Good effort, thanks for taking time to make this!
Game was fun to play, thanks! I'd change the right click to just a normal left click for infecting cells to just keep things simpler - but that's just my opinion. Good work
I had Peter Griffin moment when Penny said "Your Life is Currency" - I was like "Ahh (s)he said It!!" Great work on the art, lots of variety! Nice work
Firstly: Thanks for putting Mac instructions in the description! Second: This was fun, I liked how each level had a different story, thought it was a bit too easy.. until I had to do 2 at once, then I failed miserably  good job
This was fun! Good ol' simple clicker game, nice art work as well. Good job
Try as I might, I could not get past the Metal Box  Good work
This looks great! Its easy to understand and start - I could get addicted. Good job
Had fun playing this! Really cool pixel art - great work! Great mechanics for a game done in such short time
I think games like this that involve a speed element are perfect for Game Jams - and this is a great example of that! Still working on my highscore.. I'll keep you posted  Thanks for making this game!
This was GREAT! Love the art style/graphics - simple yet beautiful! The controls are just challenging enough at the beginning to make you want to keep working at it to buy upgrades to get better - a really good feedback loop! Thanks for making this - it was great!
Great art and voice acting! Not the game to play just before I am about to go to sleep though.. Great work!
Really loved the graphics, felt like a real GameBoy game really impressive that this can actually be played on GameBoy - way to go above an beyond!
Good take on the theme, very nice! Kept waiting for a wild Zubat to attack me in the cave
Worlds weirdest Tamagotchi! Nice details with the man changing colour as he loses blood. Good job
This was cool, the upgraded flying element was a nice touch and means added puzzle ability! Nice art style as well  Good job
Man I sucked at this game! But it was fun to play, addictive. I loved the pixel art really good work on that! Good work
Love the look of this game! It was fun to play and decode the clues - my one change would be to make the text appear a little quicker but its no deal breaker  Great work
Brilliant take on the theme! Great work and clever word play on the game name. This was really fun and reminded me of playing old school tower defence games back in the day
This. Was. Hilarious. The voice acting was brilliant  The gameplay was actually pretty fun and I like the designs of the enemies - a really good job!
Well I enjoyed it enough to keep playing it after a couple of deaths.. though you can get stuck on/behind doors when opening them (I got stuck in the Pizza on the floor room) Nice Work
Made me laugh! I don't know what I was doing or what was happening but good job
This was pretty fun, good variety with the cards and the dice balanced the choices with a bit of luck. Good job
This was a fun play! The art style was cool! Only change would be to the water effect/reflection effect as some time it made it hard to see the sailors. Great game none the less!
Nice take on the Theme  managed to get myself stuck going up a wall after a while but was a fun game!
This is like a simpler version of "Roy" from Rick & Morty - I like it! It was fun finding all the different options to choose from. Good job
Played for about 5 minutes and don't think I got a single shot off correctly  did make me chuckle! Good effort
The controls were a little slow for me and the knock-back was a bit annoying but all that said I was pretty enjoyable and played well overall! Also the background music was pretty cool and worked well with the theme of the game. Nice work
Was fun to try different combos of stats each time, I liked the fast pace + I though your gameover screen was just fine  nice work
Cool boss designs, and I like that the camera pans out so you get a different view angle. Good world design, lots to explore! Nice job
Enjoyed this! I reminded me of that old helicopter game (I used to play as a kid at school), but in a good way, a better way! Some trippy music in the background and you could get lost in this game
Took me a while to get to grips with it, but this was fun! Looks great as well and enjoyed unlock new choices. Good work
Great fast paced game! The music and the game over reminded me of playing those arcade shooter games, good times! Enjoyed it thanks
Nice idea, good effort
@coachsisyphus Yer I've messed about on a few projects before but never really got that far.. this is the first time getting to a point where there is an "actual game" to play - doing it in the 3 days was for sure a challenge! Thank so much for your feedback - really kind
@ohfiddlediddle Thank for your feedback! Yer my first game jam and first game finish to a playable outcome. You mean the dialog just before you can take control? or the main menu dialog (as that is skippable by selecting play) but I do agree all dialogue could be made skippable, something for next time
@sciman101 Yer I tried my best to fix that with the person placement because I didn't have time to code in an actual fix but I obviously still missed a few places.. simple fix, just don't get caught  Thanks for the feedback though, it's appreciated!
@jerrtato It was the first time adding music to a game, but the real credit goes to [WolframTones](http://tones.wolfram.com/generate/GzwEtRbclNiqhYBdMg4y3DREmFulf8g6hhaqqixG6Xp1) and the magical music generating machine - all I did was keep resetting till I found something I liked . The level design does need some more work to make it clearer the direction but there are some areas that purposely lead you to a dead end for hints or as part of a puzzle.
If you use up all your currency you become "Worthless" this was in an attempt to fit the "Your Life is Currency" theme. Thanks for your feedback, glad you played!
@jerrtato Ermm.. yer.. that's not a bug.. its a Feature! Yer a feature lets stick with that! 78.52 is an impressive score either way, thanks for playing it again  Here are my best times with my [Dev Knowledge](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/coinstory/coinstory-speedruns) of the game (I know the route very very well!
@ionthas Thanks for playing! and thanks for the feedback! I didn't have time to fix the respawning on humans issue with code so I tried to fix it with the placement of walls and their starting points as a quick fix - I obviously still missed some :pensive: but Thanks for your kind words
@antoined73 WOW thanks for such detailed feedback!
There is a goal, in the room where the "wall" objects make a sort of  shape there is a little gap in the wall at the bottom (mean to be a door) it isn't very clearly marked, again, something to do better next time!
- This was my first Jam and first time using any sounds in a game, so I definitely need to learn more around how to choose better sounds / implement them more effectively / consistent volumes
- I wrote the teleportation system myself "to make it easier" to world design - in reality this would have only been needed if the game was more than one "world" - overshot it a bit on this and clearly a bit buggy.. lesson learnt!
- Dying and the Life Bar/Coin Stack where actually the last things I added to the game  I didn't really know how I wanted to handle it so I agree it's far from perfect and is definitely something I would put more focus on earlier in development next time around.
Once again love the detail in your feedback thank you! Will really help if I even decide to put myself though all this again
Cool art style and the animations are really good (swing motion and the spiders legs) also nice take on the theme
