If you get trapped buy the jukebox its hard to scape. Good job.
@luis-j-benitez Yer level design needed a bit more play-testing - tried my best to foresee any problem areas Thanks though
Pretty cool. I could see it being pretty speedrun-able actually.
@devbat8712 Thanks! This one "World/Level" was all I had time for in the end, so by necessity almost, I had to add a timer for speedrunning
Cute game! I like the concept of using coins (yourself) to create distractions. And yeah it does need more level design but I like what you managed to make. I like that there is some puzzle elements to it too not only moving forward ( the jukebox). I like the art of it, very cute. BGM is nice too but sfx can get a little annoying, they also seem very loud. Overall neat idea!
I liked the Idea and the graphics alot too congrats! I had difficulty to understand the objective, because do not show my progress as visual feedback, anyway I loved it!
@rafael-souza I agree, the "HP" system needed a bit more work so thanks for the feedback, especially the art feedback - spent way too long on that because its not my strong point!
@aqws Thanks that's really nice feedback! This is the first game I ever "finished" and its the only time I've messed around with sfx and music.. much more to learn in that area for sure!
First one finished!? This is awesome! Can't wait to see more; nice work!
@coachsisyphus Yer I've messed about on a few projects before but never really got that far.. this is the first time getting to a point where there is an "actual game" to play - doing it in the 3 days was for sure a challenge! Thank so much for your feedback - really kind
Hey, pretty cool game! I'm like almost everything in the game, only think what I'm don't like enemies catch me almost instantly when I'm entering the room. Well done!
Beautiful graphics, I really like this style ;) It was really fun!
@serious07 Thanks for the feedback! Enemy AI could definitely use a bit more work with more time.
@pablotitan Wow thanks! I really struggled with the graphics it's not my strong point, so to have such nice feedback is awesome!
Well done! Very pretty and quite fun. Overall a real quality entry (especially for your first game jam!?). Also the UI is nice and minimalist as well. My only major feedback is to make that first dialog skippable, as it interrupts the games flow if you are trying to speed run it and get a good time. But well done, keep it up. :D
the graphism are simple and cool ! congrats
@ohfiddlediddle Thank for your feedback! Yer my first game jam and first game finish to a playable outcome. You mean the dialog just before you can take control? or the main menu dialog (as that is skippable by selecting play) but I do agree all dialogue could be made skippable, something for next time
@roxiemoxie Brilliant! Thanks for playing and taking time to feedback!
Very cute graphics and wonderfully implemented the theme. It is fun to roll through the greedy people to reach freedom! :D
@idinakloppstock WOW thank you for the kind feedback! Glad you had fun!
Took me 96.67 seconds - Really good for a first jam! I really like the black and white graphics. One tiny issue I had was sometimes I'd respawn on top of a person, and get stuck in an infinite loop. Besides that, though, I enjoyed it!
@sciman101 Yer I tried my best to fix that with the person placement because I didn't have time to code in an actual fix but I obviously still missed a few places.. simple fix, just don't get caught  Thanks for the feedback though, it's appreciated!
Just loved the game! There are a few bugs, but doesnt ruined the experience, please, keep updating this game!
@iagorigel OMG such nice feedback! Thanks  I might get around to adding/fixing a few bits - but I need a bit of a rest after the intense 3 days (I'm sure we all do)
Yeah! We all need! Do you have instagram/twitter? I'll follow you there to know when you post updates!
@iagorigel For sure: [itsandyjones](https://twitter.com/itsandyjones) :thumbsup:
The music is very fitting for your game. There were some moments where I couldn't tell where to go, or there seemed to be a big wall blocking the path. Was I supposed to use my currency up? Either way, great job! Cute and minimal art style.
@jerrtato It was the first time adding music to a game, but the real credit goes to [WolframTones](http://tones.wolfram.com/generate/GzwEtRbclNiqhYBdMg4y3DREmFulf8g6hhaqqixG6Xp1) and the magical music generating machine - all I did was keep resetting till I found something I liked . The level design does need some more work to make it clearer the direction but there are some areas that purposely lead you to a dead end for hints or as part of a puzzle.
If you use up all your currency you become "Worthless" this was in an attempt to fit the "Your Life is Currency" theme. Thanks for your feedback, glad you played!
@wtg I played through again and cleared in 78.52 seconds! This time around I got caught by a person somewhere and somehow spawned at the exit place. I have no idea how that happened.. XD
@jerrtato Ermm.. yer.. that's not a bug.. its a Feature! Yer a feature lets stick with that! 78.52 is an impressive score either way, thanks for playing it again  Here are my best times with my [Dev Knowledge](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/coinstory/coinstory-speedruns) of the game (I know the route very very well!
@jerrtato Oh.. I just found the place where that bug occurs :pensive: basically cuts out the last 2 rooms - I just played through Any% Worth in 33.78
I'm worth 10000 Pound and finished in 82.55 seconds (second try, on first I ended up worthless :D).
I really love the game! The super clean presentation resonates extremely well with me. Gameplay is basic, but charming and fun. The Audio fits really well too! Thanks for making this game!
@purrseus That a great score! Your feedback is really kind thank you, made those 3 days completely worth it!
Such a nice little game. Looks great and plays really well. I did get stuck once but those things happen
Loved the graphic style! And had fun been a coin ($w$) Great game!
@jkazuk Thanks for your feedback! Sorry you got stuck, I did try my best to fix those bugs but as you say it happens.. thanks for playing
@oku Wow thanks for being so kind about the style, took me a long time to put it together for this game on account of me being terrible at it  thanks for taking the time to play!
The style of the game looks and feels really consistent. I got a minor bug while playing. I got killed near an edge of a screen and the respawn point was on top of a human, that forced me to restart since I got stuck on a respawn/dead loop. Maybe you should limit how close to an edge humans can move so you avoid this situation? Overall really nice game. Keep up the good work!
@ionthas Thanks for playing! and thanks for the feedback! I didn't have time to fix the respawning on humans issue with code so I tried to fix it with the placement of walls and their starting points as a quick fix - I obviously still missed some :pensive: but Thanks for your kind words
Is there an end?
Also I got stuck by a man because they would hit me, I would re-spawn, then they would hit my immediately after.
@sillyman987 Yer - it's not very clearly mark (but that's part of the exploration ) there is a gap in the wall that supposed to be a door. It ends the he and gives you your worth (score) and time it took you
@sillyman987 This is a known issue - I've said before but I had to try to fix it with positioning rather than code because I ran out for time :pensive:
Cute and very nice work on the art, I like the black and white. I did get stuck once when respawning close to a human but after restarting I completed it with a time of 80.63 seconds. Can definitely be better :)
OK thanks
@svdvorak Thanks for the feedback! Yer sorry about the respawning thing.. that's seemingly a common issue (I thought I got them all.. just goes to show how important play-testing is!)
80.63 is a good time! Thanks for taking that time to play it!
Nice little game ! Graphics are cool and Music + SFX too ! But is there a final goal ? I've travelled all the map and didn't find a proper objective to reach.
Some recommendations : - Maybe lower a bit the death sound, it pretty loud - The teleportation system from one room to another is maybe a bit weird, like I've been teleported too far from the side of the screen I should be - When I died, I had to take some time to figure out where is the coin. Like everything is Black and White, its much harder to find it. Maybe add some color just on the spawn or a big black circle around the player that disappears ? It could be usefull to find the player at a glance ! - The same problem appears with the life bar, it's hard to find it for the same reasons
Anyway nice entry ! :v:
@antoined73 WOW thanks for such detailed feedback!
There is a goal, in the room where the "wall" objects make a sort of  shape there is a little gap in the wall at the bottom (mean to be a door) it isn't very clearly marked, again, something to do better next time!
- This was my first Jam and first time using any sounds in a game, so I definitely need to learn more around how to choose better sounds / implement them more effectively / consistent volumes
- I wrote the teleportation system myself "to make it easier" to world design - in reality this would have only been needed if the game was more than one "world" - overshot it a bit on this and clearly a bit buggy.. lesson learnt!
- Dying and the Life Bar/Coin Stack where actually the last things I added to the game  I didn't really know how I wanted to handle it so I agree it's far from perfect and is definitely something I would put more focus on earlier in development next time around.
Once again love the detail in your feedback thank you! Will really help if I even decide to put myself though all this again
Very fun and well-thought game! The only problem is that you can get stuck sometimes if you are collected when surrounded by many people.
@akagane Yer sorry about that, I really thought I fixed all the places that can happen.. apparently I was wrong!
Thanks for your feedback though and hope it didn't ruin it too much for you! Thanks for playing
I really appreciated the b&w macintosh-style graphics. Fun little game!
@dorkulon Thanks for taking the time to play and feedback
