I loved that idea!
This was very fun game to play!
1. Camera mowing was wierd.
2. The Cave Man always feld down.
3. Trip from cave to tower is too long.
4. You don`t get it in the first place
You can always buy upgrades wich reduses crafting time, and there is automation too
Thanks for feedback everybody! Going to change some features becouse of this feedback! :)
Very funny and simple game :D Like it!!
What did I just play?? :D. Ending was awesome, and the game made you to make some kind a of strategy. I was thinking like all the time that: Whats next, Whats next??? :D. Great job.
Its very simpple and boring game. You get tired of it in first few attempts.
Hard to understand, there could be some kinda of tutorial.
Very sticky controls
I didn`t see any logic on this game. But I have to say, musics were creat!!!
There could be an tutorial...
Nice game, but would need tutorial.
Love it!
It didn`t felt lika that boost helped anything :/
Music is great. But i`m sad that backround is only black.
Is there any tutorial or "How to play" section. I just feel so confused...
It was a really great and fun to play game. The physics were hard first but after a little time of playing it became more easy. The audio was awesome. I got so scared when I accidentally pumbed that ball on the little kid xd
A very well and cute excecution of a simple game concept. I've seen alot of this types of games before, but I've never seen an option to so precisely tweak the force and angle of an element. Great game with great excecution!
It was a really nice simple pet management game. The dogs looke cute but otherwise the game lacked on the graphical side. Music was nice and the barking at the main menu made me giggle, but the game lacked alot in giving audiovisual feedback. It was not clear alll the time what the dog needed, so I mostly ended up just feeding them and throwing the ball in a random order. There could have also been a timer for when the day ends, as it was really hard to determine how long the day would last. Shop felt like an afterthought. Overall really nice small pet management game, I enjoyed it for a couple of minutes. #TeamCorgi
Nice little puzzle game with an engaging dialogue. You did a great job with the audio and graphics, especially the goblin animations wer really well made. It felt kind of weird having different levers with different functionality although they had the same visuals. Dialogue explained the use of everything pretty well, but if you plan to continue this game, I highly suggest making some different visuals for different functioning levers. Each level felt different, and the game was interesting all the way to the end. Good job.
@gstein We've been thinking of maybe continuing working on the game after ludum dare and perhaps releasing on mobile. But nothing is really set on stone yet.
@neuronezero That's not a bug. You need to move closer to the items with the Paramedic if you want to use them. We should have made that clearer.
Graphics were pretty dull, although they helped to setup a nice athmosphere. (pun intended) The game was painfully easy and very repetitive. I believe that shrinking the time and adding a bit more challenge could have done alot to keep up the interest. The ship controlling mechanic was nice, but I rarely had to use it. I really like the setting and mood of the game and looking out of the ships windows was a great starting experience. Overall okay work, could have used more challenge and time on sounds & ui.
I ended up playing this game for over half an hour before winning. I love it. I really would see this game as a fun mobile game, so I really hope that you keep developing it after the jam. The graphics were awesome and fitted the game well, so did the sound effects too. Only thing I have to complain is the camera: I died way too many times after cimbing a high tree and then landing on a fox because I didn't see the ground. Other than that there is really nothing else I can think of to complain about. Overall really really solid entry, good work!
Could have definetely used some more sound effects. The game felt like it was more based on randomness than actual skill, as the speed of the rocks were way too fast so that you didn't really have any time to react. I loved the player graphics and found them pretty cute, although rest of the graphics had a really cheap feel to them.
I absolutely love the graphics, audio and the general athmosphere of the game, great job @topbraj! My only complaint would be on the difficulty of the game, or more a lack of it. I basically played for 15 minutes and didn't really notice any kind of difficulty curve, so the party never actually ended for me. Overall a really solid game, I love the vibes so much!
Really enjoyable little clicker game. Feels from the start like you are trying to restart a dead ship. Adds really nothing new to the over used genre, but fits the theme very well, good job!
Wow, I can't believe you guys made this during a jam. Definetely a solid entry. I feel like the gameplay itself was a bit unbalanced and there was no direct feedback on the changes that player made, but just the scale of the game for a jam game was awesome and I understand that there might not have been time for balancing. Graphics really fitted in well and very pretty clear, and the music was also awesome. Really solid entry, good work!
I truly enjoyed this game! The simplisity of only having only a few tasks to learn that sped up was really a nice choise. Sometimes when I played for a couple of minutes the screen stopped clearing out completely, but at that point the speed of things was at a point that it wasn't really hurting the experience.
I really love the way you approached the game, this game made me smile so much and ahs definetely been best game I've played so far from this jam. Absolutely great work!
The gameplay is painfully slow and uninteresting for the first few levels when you just place all the blobs and wait for them to die out. But when you get to the last few levels, the gameplay mechanics start to show the actual fun in the game. A big improvement in my opinion overall would be to add some kind of "Speed Up" button, so that you as the player wouldn't have to just idle and watch the blobs die. Music was beautiful and I really enjoyed the graphics. Blobs felt statisfying to place and their decay was enjoyable to watch. Overall a solid game on the last level but a boring grind on the first few levels.
I placed the first couple of towers with the starting money, and then waited for the difficulty to rise up, which it didn't. Every wave died to the towers I placed at the start and the game didn't progress almost at all. I loved the graphical style, and the music and sound effects fitted in well. I think with more difficulty and progression this game could have been something really interesting.
This was an interesting game. It really didn't take that long to figure out, but I got to say that it got fairly boring after five games. Most of the upgrades didn't really make sense. I couldn't see any benefit upgrading the attack damage when I could just spam shoot button seemingly as fast as possible. I really enjoyed the wall building mechanic and I found shooting the wave of zombies that breached the wall really statisfying. I really also enjoyed the graphical style of the game, although the generator hitboxes were a bit confusing at times. Overall, really solid work. This is definetely a game that can be played every once in a while for a few minutes.
I enjoyed it. Reminded me of those old PS2 games where you needed to pick up different resources to advance. Sensitivity was way too high and there was no apparent setting for that. Also, I needed to adjust my screens brightness to be able to see anything. Overall solid first entry with just the right scope, good work!
The art was gorgeus, and I really also enjoyed the mood of the game. It really felt like I was running around trying to save something important. The audio and graphics really helped to sell the mood even though the gameplay itself was fairly simple. Really enjoyed playing the game, awesome work!
This was the most fun I've had in a while. Thankyou for making this masterpiece.
Really help me on getting my dating life back together.
Jokes aside it was a great game, and definetely the best game I've played so far. Voice acting was hilarious and the execution of theme was perfect. Thank you, for creating this awesome masterpiece!
Fantastic use of the theme, tho it lacked a little bit with sound and graphics. But for me the gameplay is still the most important.
Good game, with cool graphics and sound-effects. Really nothing bad to say about it. Good job.
It's not a game. It is only a story, tho a poetic and lovely.
Fun and innovative Rogue-like typing game. Really enjoyed playing it, though I miserably failed to finish it. Good job.
Was really fun to play, and loved those graphics! At the end it didn't show me my score, but otherwise a great entry. :)
Really good execution of the theme! Great job! Btw, after a few tries got to a score of 1136. But yeah Great game.
@EddyNeave Thankyou for your feedback :) I should have propably said it in tips, but the shots make blast damage when they hit, and that smiley face was a leftover of a feature I removed in last second.
@kr4ft3r Thankyou for your feedback. I'd like to say that the post-compo version has the infinite zombie spawning bug fixed. So the thing with the houses, is that they give you additional money, every now and then. But you can only buy them when you got yourself a workshop. I hope that this cleared some things out :)
Hey @Erkberg .
I would have loved to add some kind of effect when the player takes damage but didn't really have time to implement that. (Zombies deal ranged damage)
Thank you for giving feedback! :)
@Justintime4u2bu Thankyou for your feedback. Things that you listed came all to my mind, but I hadn't enough time to implement them.
Good job. For some reason, I couldn't kill the zombies, even though I shot them many times.
I'm not sure if it is a bug or something, but I literally won the game by not moving at all, and just placing factories until the tech reached 200, and I didn't really get the rocket. Like why it was there? What was its purpose? I would have loved to get some backstory. And it was a bit wierd to not know how much each building cost.
Overall, not sure if I fully got this game. It was a good idea, that would have had a good chance to be something great. Audio & graphics were good. But my guess is that you spent too much time on those, and really didn't have time to playtest & make gameplay good. But that is just my guess.
Really hard game, but good take on the theme. Really can't say much, cause I didn't get further than the first two jumps. XD. Music and sound effects were not so good.
Really, really good entry.
I'm going to be real: I really didn't enjoy this game, the A.I. was often times stupid, and zombies didn't really have an effect to the game. It was still a nice try :)
Good job for your first ever game. Levels where good, although a little bit challenging. This game could have had a little bit more of those "Turn-Based" mechanics. And it was quite generic game, so that's why I gave it a little bit lower Innovation score.
But yeah, it was ok game overall. And really great if it was your first.
