It was fun! I definitely had to come back and read how to play. The music brought a lot of excitement.
This was really fun! Just simple, no nonsense, functional jam game. The art style was good, and the music was banging, but I felt it could have been louder or brighter. I wish there was a category for "The game worked all the way through so it gets 5 stars here".
I liked the art style a lot, it's a shame you didn't get to finish it. I had fun flying about and shooting the little dudes.
FUCK that was really, REALLY good! I'm almost annoyed by how well that came together. The sound reminded me of the original Alien movie, the visuals put me in mind of Limbo but not in a rip off kind of way. It just WORKED. It was so good I didn't even mind how long it took me to work out how to get up the ladder. Seriously, well done. Also, points for being the first game I've played thus far to actually label their Rar file with something non-generic.
This was really fun! I didn't really understand what was happening right away but once it clicked I had a great time. cool little puzzles, cool design, and a really great twist on the theme. The music got a little annoying a little quickly though, but that's my worst criticism. The glitch effects were a really nice touch too.
Way fun! I know you didn't make the music but the choice of track was really, really good. I loved the mechanic and the feel. It's not a flashy game but it just works as a whole, so I gave it a good score. Nice job!
IDK why but it really made me smile inside. Mouse movement was definitely nauseous though.
It was pretty fun. I'm not a huge card game fan but I liked the art of the characters a lot. The music was OK but started to feel samey pretty quick.
@tomssuli I've never listened to them before but I love them! Thank you!
@tomssuli you know, it's funny, we were all thinking of The Trammps' song from the 70's, and my wife heard the name and said "Like the 50Cent song?" Now I know this one!
So sweet. I really like simple games done well and this is that.
This was actually super cute. The design is great, from the menu, to the characters, the music, it all vibed nicely. The only thing was it seemed unplayable because the levels just aren't long enough for you to get going. You already lose a chunk of worm before you can get near anything. The shop music is a bop, btw.
Amazing, great, amazingly great. The best game jam game I've ever played I think. Well done.
I loved it! It's a great vibe, I love the game, graphics and music, and it's a great combo. My only gripe was it was a little too easy to send many cubes yeeting into the great yonder with a little flick of the wrist. Amazing job!
I liked it, it had a cool little world going on. Really silly, fun game and good use of the theme. The thumbnails for the characters are great too.
I really like the music and the energy embodied in the walking animation. The whole concept is dope, well done.
Oh man, I am so bad at regular tetris but this was fun! I think the core concept is really really good and you could probably make a killer app off it. I liked the way it looked and the colour scheme, and the music was fun too.
I thought the art and music was cool, it had a very genuine retro feel. It reminded me of games I played when I was a kid.
I found the game unplayable though, on my first attempt, because I just didn't get how the mechanic worked. I thought I'd give it another try because no one else had that problem in the comments, and I did get it, but my character didn't spawn in the second level. I played a third time, and it took forever to give me the RNG to get across, and I didn't spawn again.
Props for using Godot btw.
I liked the gameplay and the use of the every 10 seconds to create a cool mechanic. The characters were pretty cute too and I dug the zombies. I didn't love the constant sound effect of either some sort of alarm or gun.
Art is so cute, and so is the music. I love the gameplay too, cool idea!
Great art style and music! Deserving of a very high score. The downsampled, crunchy sfx plus the nostalgic top down perspective really took me back and the 10 seconds mechanic is very well executed. Won me at the title, good job!
I've literally only played to the point where I ate the first berry, and I'm here to give you an almost perfect review.
The opening cutscene already broke my heart. I would die for this bat. The way they ate the berry, I'm like tearing up. I'm a sucker for red black and white artwork and this is such a good use. And the music in time with the lightning, it's such a nice touch and the chords you chose are lovely. The way the start of the level is set up to show you the mechanic is just GOLD. Well done, it was way better than the start of that one Mario level everyone crows about.
Well done.
It was fun, and a really good concept, great job!
I really wanted to play this but it straight up did not work for me, I'm not sure why. The framerate just got slower and slower until it just didn't do anything. I'm on Windows 11. Sorry I don't have a better review! I didn't leave any stars because it wouldn't be fair.
Good effort!
It was pretty fun, but I wasn't sure if I was playing it right. I think it's a great idea for a game though and liked the little bits of art and text in all the posts.
Fun cute little game, I liked the music and the whole vibe.
From someone who logged a LOT of hours on Nokia 3310 snake, this was a really fun and fresh take. Good job!
It was just hard enough, really enjoyed it!
Really fun and addictive, ended up playing for like 15 minutes!
