Nice! And catchy music to boot. :) Occasionally some of the sound effects wouldn't trigger but that was a very small thing. Fun game!
I really like this, it's absurd in the best of ways. The sounds are good and the humor is top notch. I must now think on the error of my ways.
Love it! Love the way animations, the cheeky text, subtle things like hearing wind at the top of the map...only wish there was more. :) Well done!
Good work! I love the idea that it costs your health to shoot. A couple audio glitches here and there, and I would have liked to have seen a greater need to shoot the spiky guys to jump off of them than just the one time I had to, but all around nice job!
@selkkie thanks for the feedback! Right now it's just a competition with yourself to see how high you can get your score by the end of a playthrough, but maybe some sort of personal leaderboard would help convey that. :) Glad you enjoyed it!
Man love his little dance, it's so wholesome. Great idea, great use of the theme! Really love the design of the whole thing.
Nice and peaceful, would totally love to see this expanded in the future. :)
Also liked the concept and the crafting component, though I never got the chance to use it. Had trouble actually picking up items occasionally.
Pretty hard but a great interpretation of the theme! I couldn't differentiate between walls that would kill me and ones that just block my way, but since so much of the game involved trial and error anyway I just tried to remember where they were. Love the death sound effect too!
First one I've played with a swiping mechanic so far! And choices! Yay! Nice work. :)
Wow very polished experience! Love the sound design, art and the concept. Could have used some more music, and at one point it even cut out abruptly, but this is very impressive overall!!
I agree with the above comment on seeing the end of a level. Having a visual for what we're working toward would be nice, and I'd also like just a simple sound effect for landing as well as completing a level, but otherwise a good and straightforward entry! :)
Agreed on wanting music to loop and wanting some sound effects, even just a simple cash register sound when getting money/purchasing items, but I really love the design of it all, I really got the impression I was in a larger map than I was. Kudos. :)
Really ambitious! Don't beat yourself over seeing things you didn't have time to fix, 72 hours is not a lot of time for most things! Technical issues aside it had a great atmosphere and you should be proud to have submitted something that works. :)
Not sure if it's the game or my machine but it ran so slowly I couldn't even get out of the intro. :( however, some gorgeous artwork in there! Simply stunning.
Absolutely great design and art! Was wondering why the jump was so powerful but getting to the end I saw you'd need it (though maybe there's a different way around that, it felt a bit silly to constantly be bumping into the ceiling in the beginning). I'm not sure how well it tied into the theme, and I would have loved a longer music loop and some more sound effects (especially on collecting the statues) but such is the game jam life. GREAT job on your first jam!
Classic starting with no weapons, always a good time! I also couldn't figure out when I had won, and the music got pretty repetitive, but I understand that's pretty low priority with the crazy time limits. Great submission!
Nice and relaxing. Took me a bit to figure out what to do, but a nice and soothing experience. :)
Wow great concept! If there were a little more time I would love to hear this tempo synced to actual music, but I love how sleek this one-button game is. Well done!
I also kept dying on round 5 and am not sure why, but that aside, I love the simpleness of the mechanic, the audio contributes to the relaxing feel and all the volumes are balanced super well, the art looks amazing--great job! Would love to see this get expanded on someday :)
Absolutely love the atmosphere; the art and music work perfectly together! Seemed a bit too challenging at first but really love the vibe and it encourages repeated attempts. :)
Loved the way the tutorial was handled, and overall just loved the game. The movement was pretty slow going and you build up momentum that is hard to slow down, but this added to the need to just figure out the pacing and learn the timing of the controls. I did have some issues with audio clashing with itself on occasional loops, not sure what was causing that, but overall fantastic job :D
Love the idea and the art style! Controls were...difficult, and I broke things pretty quickly and was perpetually exploding until the game froze. But definitely potential!
Really liked this! Definitely didn't save ANYBODY my first time, and there was something morbidly hilarious about the goofy background music paired with seeing patients gush pixel blood right at the start.
I liked this a lot!! Simple but fun. Would love to have seen a high-score/leaderboard, keeping track of the lowest number of nudges you needed to save them :)
Nice! All the elements really work together. Only gripe is the death sound is much louder than anything else and kind of painful in headphones, but that's nitpicking. Great work. :)
Wow. In the time I had to play I only just made it outside but I already plan to return to it. The amount of effort put into this is pretty astounding. Love the music, art, mechanics, pretty stellar for a jam. GREAT work!
Really liked this thematic and visual take on the theme! It was pretty fast paced, which took maybe a little too much getting used to, but once you get the hang of it it was fun! Would love to see this polished up :D
Nice! I enjoyed the colorful and exciting font when I killed the first slime. If there was audio in the game it didn't work for me, but the writing was of course hilarious. Good job. :)
