The One True Gaming Experience Of 2019 - GameInformer
A Journey From Start To Finish - PC Gamer
That's great, honey! - Mom
at the end of the game, i could see what it said first, but quickly the camera snapped to the top left corner leaving the end text off the screen. i was still able to see the ending so it didn't detract from the experience, which was positive overall!!
i put giant boobies on my character and then found out he was named karl. but he was indeed beautiful.
i've never felt so satisfied to get an iced coffee before.
i am legitimately still thinking about this game a day later.
can you post a spoiler to help my dumb ass find the other extras? i am now also getting the bug kurrik mentioned, but it honestly adds to the surrealism and i liked it.
it was good! controls were definitely a bit off but once i figured it out it was pretty fun
this was awesome, once i realized what to do. not seeing the character is pretty frustrating at first but worth it. i loved the style. you clearly worked very hard on this :)
the style of the game makes me uneasy, but the audio dampens it. the resulting mood is interesting and kept me playing longer, i think. it's a good game. stairs are tricky
@lightwaves just the entire aspect of being able to see nothing is quite disarming, but that's the whole point :) i think it's because it's first person so you get that instinctive idea of danger. i liked having to map out the boundaries of the rooms with hand/footprints.
i'm not sure, i think no footsteps on the ladder actually helped me see the ladder as my handprints stuck to the wall behind it but not the rungs, so i could see more clearly that there was something there.
now THAT's a good idea
i enjoyed playing this :3
sometimes a villager will walk up next to you while you're talking to someone and you are trapped until one of them moves, but it lasts all of 2 seconds so no big deal
i'm dumb and forgot to make it public
i'm dumb and forgot to make it public
thank you so much everyone for playing and rating ;_; ily
@nithin spoilers:
pick up the flower on the edge of the cliff, then there is another path going down, you can talk to a cute girl and give her the flower to get a tiny quest. go to the left, get her some mushrooms (you can give them to the guard too) for the ending of the game
@bryvox haha yeah it was my first time doing anything programmy and i learned everything from scratch in those 3 days which is why its simple and buggy ;w; thank you for your kind words, and i really enjoyed your game
@hyperscope i posted instructions on how to get to the ending in a previous comment if you're interested in trying again!
@ben-ash it might be helpful if you posted your machine specs, maybe i can optimize the video player better? in the meantime you can skip the cutscenes entirely by clicking the triangle in the corner
@roque thank you so much for your kind words!
thank you for playing
@bdelehoy i considered that making "important" things orange would be enough but while playing it i definitely realized they didn't stand out enough. unfortunately at that point i had squandered my time on other things so it didn't end up getting fixed. i will definitely remember that and look into fixing it, so thank you for bringing it up!!
@lucien-catonnet i messed up the camera and i think if it had been zoomed out more and you could see more of the map it might have been easier to find your way around and see stuff, so i'll try fixing that. i'm glad you were able to at least play and finish it!! thank you for your time!
@annie-owl thank you so much! for some reason the video player ended up playing at a faster rate than it did in the engine and I didn't notice. thank you for mentioning it so i can look into fixing it!
@ynneblack thank you for playing through to all the endings!!! it was a wild experience for sure but i'm so glad i did it. i'll take a look at your games!!
yikes i actually looked at that and thought "gotta make sure boundaries are outside that overlay area" and then forgot. thank you for bringing it to my attention!!
@webox he was just doing his job ): hehe thank you for the nice comment!
thank you all for playing
love the art style, reminds me of old 90s click adventure games like spy fox :D
the game won't go past the start menu for me ):
