| Jan 9 21:55:01 | Olive Harvest | ♥ 2 | Had a lot of fun with the game. Took me a long time to beat the last level! I really liked the concept and how it looked and felt. The theme was done very nicely. I have only two issues with it: 1. I couldn't understand how to beat the slugs. Hitting space next to them doesn't seem to do anything. At first I thought I was killing them when they explode but then I saw I'm losing health. Eventually my solution was to just drive them around the level and avoid touching them but it wasn't clear if there's another way to handle them. 2. The interaction was a little bit clunky - I got stuck behind the cart quite a few times Still, this was a very well made game for a jam. Good job making it!! | |
| Jan 9 22:31:00 | 35m 59s | Fenasi | ♥ 2 | Hi! I tried playing around 5-6 times but couldn't understand where to get the water so I got stuck without managing to harvest anything :( Can you please explain how to get water? I'll be happy to try playing it again and re-rate. |
| Jan 10 07:22:25 | 8h 51m | Christmas Hustle | ♥ 4 | Enjoyed the game a lot! The three day mode seems a bit too short (not sure how much variation you can have in only 3 days of play - maybe 5 or 6 days would have been more interesting as it would give you some more time to build up a stock? but maybe I'm just not that good :) I ended up enjoying the endless mode more. Thank you for making the game! |
| Jan 10 08:02:40 | 40m 15s | Heart's Harvest | ♥ 1 | Really great game, very cool you managed to put it together in this jam! What I liked: * Characters and mood are great. I enjoyed the small conversations and spending the time with the characters. * Very cozy feeling - I felt like I really got to know this space by the end of the game * Cool concept with you trying to please the residents * Beautiful art and music! What I didn't like: * A few bugs and the interface wasn't very intuitive. For example, I still have no idea how to change the square that is "selected" from your inventory boxes at the bottom of the screen (I always had the left one be the "selected one" and moved things around to make the one I wanted to use the left most one which was really awkward). I also kept accidentally cooking/cutting stuff I didn't want to and there was one specific case where I got stuck because I couldn't pick up something that finished cooking and I had to restart the game. * It took me a while to figure out what the "objective" is, as I kept just feeding them the same fries every day. However after I restarted I got much more into just "role playing" and trying to please the characters and then it clicked for me. Anyway, really enjoyed my time with this game, thank you for making it! |
| Jan 10 08:14:11 | 11m 31s | Real Harvest or not??? | ♥ 1 | I really liked the pixel art style of this game! Great animations and the graphic are very coherent. It's amazing you've managed to make these in such a short time! The game itself was too difficult for me... I tried to get better at these fights but the vegetables ended up killing me pretty quickly everytime. Anyway, thank you for making the game! |
| Jan 10 08:24:13 | 10m 02s | Crop Season | ♥ 3 | I enjoyed the game a lot! The flinging mechanic didn't always work for me but when it did it was really satisfying! I also enjoyed the concept and felt like I really know these characters by the end like they were my "regulars" here for their usual order :) I always had a hard time with the guy who keeps wanting the corn and then the eggplant. I found it super hard flinging the eggplant from the left when he's at the right half of the screen. Anyway, had a super fun time with the game, thank you for making it! |
| Jan 10 08:45:30 | 21m 17s | Editor Gregoritz | ♥ 1 | Loved the concept! I'm not sure if it's endless but I stopped getting letters at some point and the papers to review got repetitive so I assumed there's no ending. Would have preferred to get a more final ending. Anyway, loved the paper reviewing mechanic. Would love to see this continued with more mechanics! A bit sad that I didn't have enough time to actually read the documents :) |
| Jan 10 09:17:48 | 32m 18s | Lunaculture | ♥ 0 | Can't believe I missed the left shift explanation. My finger hurts so much! :) I found it pretty easy to meet the quotas but it was still satisfying to get there. The only thing that bothered me (except for the lack of "sell all" which is apparently just me not properly reading instructions) was that the perspective sometimes made it difficult to tell where the correct place to click was. Other than that this was a super fun game, I enjoyed my time with it a lot! Thank you for making it! |
| Jan 10 09:32:25 | 14m 37s | Harvester | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed this game a lot!! It's very refreshing to play a game that's different from anything else. It took a while to figure out what you do with the slider but it was pretty fun, and I enjoyed the mood and the set-up, thinking about the mystery and finding the two endings. Thanks for the game! |
| Jan 10 10:01:02 | 28m 37s | Day of the Serfs | ♥ 1 | Wow, really cool game!!! I enjoyed the humor and the art style. Also enjoyed the stealth mechanic a lot but felt it got repetitive after a few levels. I eventually gave up on the third level after I managed to steal 100 crops but then got caught on my way to the gate. Anyway, had a lot of fun with this! |
| Jan 10 18:20:30 | 8h 19m | Click On Fish | ♥ 1 | Really addictive game. Loved clicking the fish! :) Dedicated much more time to it than I thought I would... |
| Jan 10 18:30:58 | 10m 28s | Harvestigator: An IRS Tax Auditing Game | ♥ 1 | Such an awesome game! I loved everything about it - art / humor / voice acting. Would have played 5 more hours of this :) |
| Jan 10 18:50:22 | 19m 24s | Chicken Story | ♥ 2 | Enjoyed the game! Only complaint is that it would be nice if pressing E while text is showing would show the entire text and not immediately skip. Would make it easier to enjoy the game faster without missing the text :) |
| Jan 10 19:12:43 | 22m 21s | Boba | ♥ 1 | Loved the concept! Really enjoyed harvesting all these civilizations for some nice boba :) |
| Jan 10 21:33:32 | 2h 20m | The Bountiful | ♥ 1 | Cool game! Loved the story and the humor. Didn't expect so much killing :) |
| Jan 10 22:05:22 | 31m 50s | Carrot | ♥ 1 | Really loved playing this. Art is so cute, and gameplay was fun. Thank you for making it! |
| Jan 10 23:23:16 | 1h 17m | Xenorp Replacement Surgery | ♥ 1 | Really simple game but I had a lot of fun with it! Funny concept. Took me a few tries to get it right :) |
| Jan 11 07:28:42 | 8h 05m | Harvest Survivor | ♥ 3 | Super fun game! Obviously it's ripping off vampire survivors but it's a really good implementation of that. I eventually managed to survive using a defense mechanic - I mainly upgraded walking speed and was able to outrun all the vegetables. However, since the enemies kept accumulating, at some point frame rate started to really drop (I played using the web version). After farming 11/15, my frame rate was so low the game was barely playable, and then the enemies won. Still it was a really fun game and I'll definitely play more to try to win it! (maybe using a more aggressive strategy next time). Maybe next time I'll try to download and play the binary version to avoid the frame rate drops. Thank you for making the game! |
| Jan 11 17:29:53 | 10h 01m | Anne & the Carrot Islands | ♥ 2 | Really awesome puzzle game! I loved how it plays and it's super cute. |
| Jan 12 03:55:29 | 10h 25m | Rough Harvest | ♥ 1 | Really cute game! It wasn't very difficult at the end, but I did need to develop a little bit of strategy (e.g. not plant all the corns at once since they killed me very quickly π). I didn't use cooking much except for the very basic carrot recipe. Loved the artwork and music! |
| Jan 12 05:36:31 | 1h 41m | Big Broccoli | ♥ 1 | I really enjoyed playing your game! I liked that you need some strategy for dealing with the different enemy types. I almost beat the broccoli boss but eventually gave up after a few tries because my finger got really sore from clicking the button :) Thank you for making the game! |
| Jan 12 16:54:32 | 11h 18m | TurnUp | ♥ 2 | Really nice and relaxing game :) My only issue was that I went through one annoying section where I accidentally made two power plants before I actually needed the electricity and they started taking away my turnips more quickly than I was selling them (for some reason they kept using turnips even though my energy was full). Eventually I managed to pass through this section by continuously clicking on the shop to not let the power plant take away any of my turnips... In any case I had a really nice time with this game and played for much longer than I expected. Thank you for making the game! :) |
| Jan 12 17:49:35 | 55m 03s | Hex-Yield | ♥ 2 | Such a cool concept! I really enjoyed finding all the different interactions to unlock everything. |
| Jan 13 04:59:41 | 11h 10m | Living as a _ in a Small Town | ♥ 1 | It's a really nice concept and definitely has potential, especially with the mood and the way you interact with people. I was very intrigued the first few minutes of playing this. I think eventually with the contents it currently has it's a little bit too bare bones to be a fun game, but I could definitely see it becoming great with some more work!! |
| Jan 13 05:18:52 | 19m 11s | Arrrrrvest! | ♥ 1 | Fun game, and really cute pixel art! I think one thing that could be improved is that it wasn't very clear which parts of the screen are clickable (I only found out you could plant resources on my third playthrough) |
| Jan 13 05:52:01 | 33m 09s | Hectic Harvest | ♥ 2 | Very nice tower defense game! I enjoyed my time with it but it got a bit repetitive after a while. Would be nice if there was some clear objective (e.g. "survive until wave X" so I would feel motivated to get to a specific target). The game UI feels very good and the art is really nice for a jam game! |
| Jan 13 06:05:45 | 13m 44s | Night Harvest | ♥ 1 | The name of your game had almost the same name as mine so I had to check it out π Really liked how you built the atmosphere in the game, I enjoyed it a lot! My main complaint would be that the lighting was a bit too dark - it was very hard to find the stairs up the harvester every time I had to ride it again (I was playing the PC binary version, not the web version). Maybe put a little more lights specifically on that path to make it easier to navigate? Anyway, really cool work! |
| Jan 13 06:30:51 | 25m 06s | The End Of The Art As We Know it | ♥ 1 | Really cute game. I loved the background music π I beat the AI!!! πͺ |
| Jan 13 08:09:46 | 1h 38m | Charles, the Bee | ♥ 3 | Very cute game! π I enjoyed it a lot, and it was nice to have the variety of different gameplays between the pollen harvesting sections and the dance sections. The only complaint I have is that I think the harvesting sections should have been a little bit shorter. I really enjoyed their relaxed nature but they became a bit too long at some point (and weren't challenging enough to be fun for that long). The art and music were really great! The rhythm sections were pretty hard for me (especially the last one) but it was very fun and I managed to win the dance competition eventually! Thank you for making the game! |
| Jan 13 08:17:05 | 7m 19s | Puzzle game about farming I think | ♥ 2 | Pretty good puzzle game! Not super challenging but fun way to pass the time. I really liked the art style. Very impressive that you were able to make this in such a short time period!! |
| Jan 13 08:32:30 | 15m 25s | Reap what they sow | ♥ 1 | Cool game! Feels very risky to make a card game for a 3 day jam and you managed to pull it off π I really enjoyed the mechanic. The interface could use more work if you make it a full game but for a jam game it's fantastic and feels pretty good. Some of the actions weren't very intuitive (e.g. how to sell cards - had to read the instructions). For some of the cards I'm still not sure what they do (e.g., why couldn't I sell the fruit salad?). In any case, I had a lot of fun playing and even managed to win at the end! π |
| Jan 13 08:58:15 | 25m 45s | Inside | ♥ 1 | Cool game! Jokes were funny and some actually made me laugh which is rare in a video game π Ending was awesome. |
| Jan 13 09:22:28 | 24m 13s | Crowings Do | ♥ 1 | What an awesome game!! I really loved the music and the art style π Gameplay was fun but got really hard after a few levels - would be nice if there was a way to restore health so I could continue playing for longer. It's a mystery why the farmers grow out of the ground looking like corn at first π |
| Jan 13 22:45:26 | 13h 22m | Homunculus | ♥ 2 | Really cool game! Really enjoyed the art style, reminded me a bit of the old Sierra adventure games. Story and setting was really cool, would love to see more in this setting :) I had a few relatively minor issues: 1) Would be nice to get a better "fail" interaction when you do something wrong (even just "I can't use the gear there"). In many cases even if I was holding an object, the interaction just gave the same interaction as clicking on the thing without the object which felt a bit buggy. 2) It was often not clear where the actual mouse pointer position was when I was holding items (since there was nothing pointing towards a specific pixel position), so it felt a bit uncomfortable trying to find the correct place to hold it. Maybe if there was always a small pointer next to the object or something similar? [or maybe if the object itself was highlighted when you were pointing it] 3) The potion book page was super confusing since it has three different arrows (one to go to the next page, one to go back to the table, and one to go back to the room), and I kept clicking the wrong ones. Anyway, really cool game, thank you for making it! |
| Jan 13 23:08:00 | 22m 34s | Super Plantoid | ♥ 2 | Wow, this game was so good, almost everything about it was way more than I expect from a jam game! Level design, art, sound, the feel of the gameplay mechanic. It all felt like a fully polished game. Good job! Really hope you plan to continue and make a full experience (either from this game or something completely different) because I would love to play that π Thank you so much for making the game! |
| Jan 13 23:15:53 | 7m 53s | Sizzling Harvest | ♥ 0 | Cool concept. I'm not getting any close to beating it (keep failing at around 5500) but it was pretty fun! |
| Jan 14 01:08:04 | 1h 52m | Sow'n'Reap | ♥ 2 | Awesome game, had a great time farming! I'm not sure if there's a better strategy for the last level (that has the letters LD52 but only a little bit of water at the center) but I ended up ignoring all the crops that were too far away from the water and centering my farm around the water source π |
| Jan 14 01:36:24 | 28m 20s | 7 days to harvest | ♥ 4 | Really cool game! Innovative concept and great idea for the theme. I especially enjoyed the drunk level, and I liked the credits sequence. In general gameplay was really fun :) |
| Jan 14 01:57:55 | 21m 31s | Pumpkin Panic | ♥ 1 | Really awesome game! My only (minor) issue is that the first time I got offered the reaper upgrade was on day 8 (not sure if that's fixed or if I just had bad luck), and I finished the game on day 9, so for most of my game I still had to do the tedious work of clicking the pumpkins... (but it was still fun! π) |
| Jan 14 03:40:51 | 1h 42m | A Conversation With A Stranger | ♥ 1 | Very nice!! I really enjoyed the story and the writing. The "twist" was great and made me rethink the first half of the story. |
| Jan 14 05:37:32 | 1h 56m | The Time Traveler's Garden | ♥ 4 | Really cool game! I liked the twist on the plant and harvest idea. The artwork was great and the music really set the mood. I also like the setting and the implication that this guy's job is basically fighting monsters every time a customer orders a dish (I hope the customers appreciate the dedication though I'm not sure they're aware!) I wonder if anyone managed to beat the super tall sandwich. I got very close but eventually got beaten by a few remaining lettuces. |
| Jan 14 05:45:26 | 7m 54s | Puppet show! | ♥ 1 | Cool game!! I really liked how the hand puppet moves and feels, and the whole experience was really fun. What a unique idea for the jam! |
| Jan 14 07:22:51 | 1h 37m | Cursor Farm | ♥ 1 | Really cool implementation of an idle game! I enjoyed it and played for more time than I feel comfortable to admit π Good job! I also couldn't get the last award, and I couldn't figure out what the farmers were doing. Would be nice if there was a way to purchase something that would automate the planting/reaping job :) |
| Jan 14 07:30:28 | 7m 37s | FarmTaker | ♥ 1 | Cool game, I really liked the tractor song remix (this tractor song was my child's favorite song, I really wonder if you did this remix or if someone else did). I liked the comic book art at the beginning and end. The ending was a bit... surprising π One issue I had - during the action sequence, for some reason the objects scrolling hurt my eye a bit (I had to look away from time to time to relax my eyes). I think maybe it's because the frame rate of the scrolling wasn't great or just that they were scrolling too fast? I don't really know, but something about it made it a bit hard for me. |
| Jan 14 08:27:50 | 57m 22s | Menagerie Street | ♥ 2 | Wow, I really liked this story! Played this together with my daughter and we were both really intrigued by the mystery and liked the ending a lot. Also the different characters and personalities were really well written, especially for a jam game but even just for video games in general. One of my favorite entries so far! |
| Jan 14 08:58:15 | 30m 25s | Afterlife Assistance Agency | ♥ 1 | Really cool game! I liked the art style a lot, and the face recognition game is fun! Also liked the UI of the paper and the feel of the game in general. The only issue (which I guess you get a lot) is that it's annoying when I see the correct guy but they walk off screen and then I can't click on them. Anyway, really awesome game! |
| Jan 14 10:01:19 | 1h 03m | Harvest Song | ♥ 1 | What a cool idea! Making harvesting into a rhythm game is a really nice twist on the theme. I also enjoyed the art style. The gameplay was short but it was fun to chill out with the music and harvest the crops. |
| Jan 14 10:29:34 | 28m 15s | UFO and Harvest | ♥ 1 | Very interesting submission, I enjoyed my playthrough a lot! What I liked: * I thought the art was really good - I liked the starfield effect, and the way the planets/ships looked * The premise was cute - the UFO looking for its true love. * While the gameplay mechanic still needs a lot of tuning (see my issues below), I think it is pretty unique and innovative and shows a lot of promise. It was really fun zooming through the planets and plotting my route towards my love. What I didn't like: * The upgrade ship mechanic was nice but it didn't encourage you to take any risks. My gameplay was split into two phases - in the first phase I played it super safe and just upgraded my ship. On the second phase, once I was upgraded enough, I started moving towards my love. Would be nice if the gameplay somehow forced you to upgrade while moving to different planets far away from your initial home base. * Also, while there are a few planets that can serve as home bases, they were very hard to find and they were not generally on the way to the love. It could be a nice strategy to try to plot a route that goes through a few home bases so I could refuel on the way. Maybe if there was a way to leisurely examine the map and set waypoints? As the game is now, I eventually solved it by running directly towards the love without using any refuels on the way. Anyway, really cool entry! |
| Jan 14 10:53:59 | 24m 25s | Carrot Conundrum | ♥ 1 | Amazing puzzle game! What a cool idea. I liked the comic book look, and the comic book based puzzles. Everything about this was perfect. Usually I try to give a list of things that were good and things to improve but here I'm speechless it's just incredible. I remember some of your games from previous jams and I would love to see a full project made by you guys. You have so many amazing ideas and great executions. Good job again! :) |
| Jan 15 08:13:18 | 21h 19m | Boar'd'Hell | ♥ 1 | Cool game! What I liked: * Controlling two machines at once. Didn't see it in a lot of other games and it took a while to learn to control. * Once you learn to control the machines the game controls feel pretty nice and it's fun to play. * Art was pretty nice, definitely above average. I especially liked the scenery (road/bushes) What could be improved: * Obviously tough for such a short jam but after a while driving the road I felt like just having the score as the motivation was not enough (For me). I would've preferred to get some new variations on the road (new obstacles, or something that's a bit different). Anyway, I had a lot of fun playing this! My best score was 424,218 |
| Jan 15 08:26:26 | 13m 08s | Scrapped | ♥ 1 | Awesome idea and very nice implementation! What I liked: * Killing the bots by pushing them around into the pile felt very innovative and made this game different from other games of this type. * The "health" mechanic being a loss of a random upgrade also felt unique. * The art looked really nice. What I didn't liked: * I think the upgrade could've come sooner. At least for me, killing 10 robots was really hard, and I almost always got hit at least once before getting the upgrade, so I never actually managed to upgrade anything beyond the initial 2 levels. * The difference between the different upgrade levels didn't feel big - I didn't feel like it actually made gameplay harder when I had firing rate at level 1 vs level 2 for example. * There could be better indication when you get hit (maybe some sound effect or particle effect?) Anyway, had a lot of fun playing this! |
| Jan 15 19:44:22 | 11h 17m | ORGAN GRINDER | ♥ 5 | Really cool game! Music and art were awesome, I really liked the animations (especially the player hands animations). I found it really hard but appreciated the cheat option :) |
| Jan 15 23:42:05 | 3h 57m | A Day in the Life of Death | ♥ 0 | Wow, this was amazing!! I loved the story and dialogs, and the ending was awesome. Art and music were great and gameplay was fun. Thank you for making this awesome game!!! My only (super minor) issue - I wasn't entirely sure what I was supposed to do during the Happy Lala section. I think I eventually got it (just press when the hearts reach the character) but it wasn't very clear. |
| Jan 16 05:32:45 | 5h 50m | Flavors of Victory | ♥ 4 | Really cute game! I loved the art and the concept was fun. I wasn't sure about the game itself - given the chart of who beats who I pretty much managed to beat the opponent every time so I wasn't sure what the challenge was (maybe I was supposed to find out the chart by myself with experiments?) Still had fun with it! π |
| Jan 16 05:59:27 | 26m 42s | CharacteRiser | ♥ 3 | Cool idea! Really liked this game, very innovative twist on the theme. |
| Jan 16 14:24:40 | 8h 25m | The Harvest | ♥ 1 | This is so awesome! I wish I had an actual gameboy to play this on :) (unfortunately my gameboy broke 20 years ago) What I liked: * Adventure-game style gameplay * Intriguing story * Actual Gameboy game!!! * Art and sound were great - this looks and sounds just like real games of the era (or maybe even better than the average Gameboy game π) Minor issues I had: * Would be nice if you would just use the correct key automatically if you had it. It took me a while to figure out that one of the keys are re-used * There's no indication for which weapon should be used to kill which monster. Would be nice to at least get a prompt like "you try using the mallet but it's not tough enough" Really cool game, thank you for making it! |
| Jan 16 14:47:51 | 23m 11s | The Pets Over The Innsmouth | ♥ 2 | Cool game! I really liked the intro and ending scenes. Gameplay was fun. I had a funny bug where sometimes the sleeping sprite was kept on the creatures as they were walking around π Only minor issue is that it took me a few minutes to realize I need to click again to harvest the souls after I kill the creatures. Maybe would've been better for that to be automatic? |
| Jan 16 15:16:46 | 28m 55s | Elonkorjuu - Live Harvest | ♥ 2 | Really cool art and gameplay! I'm glad I've been persistent because some of the later level designs are really good. |
| Jan 17 06:09:42 | 14h 52m | Billiard Hero | ♥ 1 | Very cool game! What I liked: * Great particle effects! The overall feel of the game was really polished and very fun to look at * Very innovative mechanic, and I like how they keep changing throughout the game * Amazingly complex for a compo game! I have no idea how you managed to do so much in 2 days, this is crazy! * Last levels felt very challenging but still masterable. Issues I had (all pretty minor): * I felt the first half was a bit tedious with every time getting a new score objective, and it wasn't clear what the "real" objective is and when the game is going to advance - I think this part could have been much shorter. * I have no idea what's the relation of this game to the harvest theme π |
| Jan 17 06:30:05 | 20m 23s | Doki Doki Ninjin | ♥ 2 | Awesome game!! Some of the carrots were hidden behind really fun puzzles. I enjoyed the level design and the many different interactions. One of the more "complete" games I played on this jam. Had a lot of fun playing it. |
| Jan 17 09:04:45 | 2h 34m | It was all for the Tuna | ♥ 2 | Wow this is really awesome!! What I liked: * The art was INCREDIBLE. I really loved the water effects and the way the ship looked zooming down the ocean. * Gameplay - one of the better feeling fishing mechanic I've played in a game. Gameplay was really addicting and fun. It took me around 20 minutes to finish (partly because I misremembered that the last update costs 500 tunas - I could've stopped much earlier if I remembered it was 300 π) but I enjoyed every minute of it. * Music was relaxing and really enhanced the experienced. Super minor issue I had: * I feel like after the last ship upgrade, you could've made life a bit easier for me by coloring the bigger tuna differently so I won't waste my time hunting down the tiny tuna fish π |
| Jan 17 10:06:05 | 1h 01m | Bloopy | ♥ 2 | Cool entry. It was a bit of a puzzle, figuring out how things work and what does what. I had a lot of fun figuring this out. The one issue I had is that I wish there was better indications of how far along things are in progress (e.g., what level you upgraded each machine to, and what % of the repairs are done on the spaceship. Specifically the first few times I upgraded the machines the effect was so small I thought nothing really happened). Thank you for making this game! |
| Jan 17 18:03:16 | 7h 57m | Harvey D. Bones | ♥ 1 | Cool game! What I liked: * Music was really good! * Gameplay was pretty fun, and it took me a while to figure out the trick to avoiding cthulu * Atmosphere/art is nice with the 3d maze Issues I had: * Would be nice to get an indication for the number of cats left in the level (especially on the last level I spent about 2 minutes looking for the last cat and I started thinking there might be a bug) * I had a bug on the first level, the first time I played - after catching all the cats, the next level didn't start (I was stuck in an empty maze). |
| Jan 18 04:50:49 | 10h 47m | Cardwork Cycle | ♥ 1 | Wow, I liked this a lot! Very nice rhythm to the game, I got very relaxed and absorbed while playing it. Music and art are simple but perfect for the experience. |
| Jan 18 23:07:35 | 18h 16m | HaustmΓ₯ne | ♥ 1 | Awesome game! It took me a while to figure out that the vignette effect means I'm in the shadows and that I can possess people when I'm there, but once I figured these out the stealth/possess mechanic was really fun! π |
| Jan 18 23:59:55 | 52m 20s | We Harvest as One | ♥ 1 | Cool puzzle game!! There was a big difficulty spike on that last level, but it was very satisfying to finally solve π I liked the "control everyone together" mechanic. |
| Jan 20 01:15:01 | 25h 15m | Gogo Rabbit's Trap | ♥ 1 | I think I found the 4 endings (SPOILER WARNING: killed by god, sacrificing yourself, sacrificing enough souls, sacrificing manager). Very unique and interesting idea. I had fun experimenting and finding all the different combinations! |
| Jan 20 01:34:03 | 19m 02s | Nesting | ♥ 1 | Very cute game, and really polished for a compo game! I had a lot of fun flapping, though it really hurt my finger by the end after a few playthroughs π The best I managed to get is 50. |
| Jan 21 17:44:31 | 40h 10m | You Got Served! | ♥ 1 | Cool game! I liked the graphics and I really enjoyed the music that played during the level (I saw you opted out of audio so I assume you didn't make it but it's still a great choice!) Gameplay was fun - it took me a few tries but it was satisfying to finish. A few issues I had: 1. Camera was too sensitive - it was hard to maneuver around the enemies because my camera went berserk every time I tried to avoid their missiles. 2. The alien ufos sometime come down by surprise and kill me immediately. There should maybe be a few seconds of "invulnerability" when they first appear to allow me to see where they are coming from. 3. You can also cheese the enemies by approaching them super slowly and shooting constantly - I noticed this way I kill them before they even appear on the screen and they never shoot at me :) 4. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to use the tractor beam for - there was never a situation where I had to pick up the humans. Thank you for making the game, I enjoyed playing it! |
| Jan 22 11:04:49 | 17h 20m | Hermesh | ♥ 2 | Very fun game!! The animations look really good, and I liked how the story is told through the in-world titles. The music was great as well. Some minor issues I had: - Would be nice to get a better tutorial for harvesting souls from ducks (e.g. if the first time you see a duck you are required to harvest it to proceed). I got pretty late in the game without harvesting any souls and that was a bit confusing. - Took me a while to figure out that the number above the cats are the number of souls I'm missing (and not the number of souls I need). That also confused me for a while. Anyway, great entry! Thank you for making it! :) |
| Jan 22 20:19:49 | 9h 15m | Acornville Escape Room | ♥ 0 | Very cool escape room! Enjoyed playing through it, and the puzzle progression was very nice. I did encounter one really minor issue where the "puzzle solve" music kept playing repeatedly while I was standing in the room where you throw a ball at the teeth (didn't matter to my experience at all, just thought you might like to know π) |
| Jan 22 21:13:33 | 53m 44s | Brains | ♥ 1 | Really cool puzzle game! The 2nd level (I think it was second - the one with the girl and the one loose tile at the bottom) was actually the hardest for me. After that the rest of the levels were solved pretty quickly. I really enjoyed the art style and the little animations!! |
| Jan 25 16:50:22 | 67h 36m | Fast Aerial Harvesting | ♥ 1 | Really cute game! I like the concept, and could imagine many ways to evolve it into a full game π I managed to get to 5 harvested plants! πͺ |
| Jan 26 16:35:19 | 23h 44m | tomato harvester | ♥ 1 | Looks cute but I couldn't figure out how to play it (maybe because I was playing it on my laptop with trackpad and not an actual mouse). Am I suppose to press the right mouse button while holding the left mouse button to use objects? (that's not possible with the trackpad). Would be nice to offer key bindings as well so that it would be easier to play with trackpad. Other than that, the physics were a bit clunky and specifically the watering can fell into the ground a few times π I'm not rating it yet because I assume I couldn't play it because of the trackpad. I'll try it again with an actual mouse once I get home. |
| Jan 26 16:47:32 | 12m 13s | The Domino Surgery | ♥ 0 | Very fun puzzle game, had a great time with it!! Would be nice if the "page the doctor" button had a confirmation before the doctor gave you the hint. I ended up getting a hint once because I accidentally clicked the button. |
| Jan 26 23:27:03 | 6h 39m | Frozen Dragon | ♥ 2 | Really nice, relaxing game! I had a lot of fun time with it. Some notes: 1. Would be nice to get a clear objective (even if it's just something like "clear up 80% of the snow on the screen"). I played around 10 minutes of the game and I really enjoyed it, but would've enjoyed it more if I knew I'm playing towards a specific goal. 2. Encountered some bugs (couldn't pick up the radishes at some points). See the video below for the examples. 3. Some interface choices made it hard to figure out how to play (e.g. it wasn't clear why you need to select a vegetable to be able to breath fire, and you need to select the fire icon to harvest vegetables). Nothing too critical, and once I figured it out it worked fine. 4. Loved the art and the music/audio for the game! Some audio cues were a bit confusing (e.g. when you try to harvest an empty spot it still makes the harvesting sound as if something is there). Overall, really great entry! Here is my playthrough and commentary: https://youtu.be/aCvKPr5JyEM |
| Jan 26 23:32:13 | 5m 10s | (Test) | ♥ 0 | Cool prototype! Would be nice if there was a clear objective / end-game but I know it's hard to do during a game jam. I think if you even added something really tiny (like after you harvest 30 plants the game gives some kind of "good job" title to wrap the prototype up) it would be a little bit more satisfying way to end the game. Still I really enjoyed my time planting and harvesting crops in this game :) Here is my playthrough: https://youtu.be/AOIqcU3vjjM |
| Jan 26 23:52:33 | 20m 20s | Forget-Me-Not: Harvesting Memories | ♥ 0 | Cool entry! What I liked: * Story idea with the memory flower is really nice and would be great to expand it * The music was really good! Amazing that you've done this during the jam. * The art style that mixes 3D and 2D was really cool (reminded me a bit of the Milkman level in Psychonauts π) Some issues I had: * Was very confused with the interaction interface at first since you pick up items but they are also left in the store. * Was even more confused about interactions at the client's home - since they only add to the journal but there's no indication (maybe just getting a text prompt like "Hint added to journal, press <TAB> to access" would have helped a lot) * Would be nice to add a way to skip dialog (I had to replay through the game after I got stuck on my first playthrough and playing through the beginning dialog took a long time). Great job overall on making a complete game in only 3 days! π |
| Jan 27 00:01:07 | 8m 34s | Farming For FUn | ♥ 1 | Wow, 4 hours? Not sure if I'd be able to make anything in 4 hours π It's pretty simple but a nice game. Too bad you didn't have time to make anything more complete, I remember the last time I played a game you made was in LD43 and it was great π |
| Jan 27 00:22:14 | 21m 07s | They Hide in the Fields | ♥ 2 | Great game! It was a bit too stressful for me and I bailed out after a few failures but I'll definitely go back to it in a few hours once my heart rate goes down a bit π Loved the mood and the art style! Audio was incredible. Here is my playthrough: https://youtu.be/NRoDYQUyQFg |
| Jan 27 00:42:23 | 20m 09s | Harvest Hewn | ♥ 1 | Cool game! I really liked the upgrades and the feeling that I'm getting stronger as the game advances. One (minor) issues is that in some cases it wasn't clear why some upgrades are offered and some are not (e.g. for some reason the shotgun was only offered on some days). |
