| Oct 5 19:27:43 | Stuck in the Office | ♥ 2 | Mechanics are cool, and it fits the theme. However, I did'nt realise at first that the level was looping on itself because of the vignetting. And, like @tigerija I often was confusing Y and B, maybe some option to remap controls could be cool? Good job overall! | |
| Oct 5 19:33:54 | 6m 11s | RbLoop | ♥ 0 | Wooh, that's quite challenging. The concept is really nice and well implemented. I found the music too repetitive, and I had to cut off the sound to play the game. Some kind of simple tutorial zone could be a really great addition. |
| Oct 5 19:45:34 | 11m 40s | VHS Loop | ♥ 2 | The concept is really nice, and... well it's not intended, but it's quite fun to cheat with the wall clipping glitch. The game is quite hard but it's ok for me. Overall it's well done and polished, good job! |
| Oct 5 19:58:28 | 12m 54s | Ghost loop | ♥ 1 | The loop took me by surprise when I was trying to find the deer. I really enjoyed the mood and the graphics. Controls are a bit slow but it works well. It could be really nice with some music and fx. Good job on this one! |
| Oct 5 20:05:37 | 7m 09s | The Grand Torus | ♥ 2 | At first I tried it with a controller, and I was only able to move. It could be nice if you add informations about how to control the game in the game. Overall, the game works quite well and the graphics are nice, however, I thought it was quite hard to perceive the altitude of the ship. And I found the musical "loop" a little too short. (I did'nt rate you on humor and mood, I don't think that's the point of your game) |
| Oct 5 20:28:06 | 22m 29s | Bean Up! | ♥ 6 | I'm REALLY bad at platformers so I did'nt finish the game (I was stuck on the second level, when there's two turrets). Controls/graphics/sound works really well! I found the bullet to be a little too tiny, it was sometimes not easy to spot them. Good job, hope some people will manage to finish it! (you should add a screenshot of the game in the description, maybe more people would want to try it?) |
| Oct 5 20:42:15 | 14m 09s | Hamster's Nightmare | ♥ 1 | I made it until there was less than ten cats! At first I didn't understood that I could dash into the cats, maybe you could add some kind of instructions in the game? Overall all, good job, the theme is here, and controls are great. The music is simple but it works well. By the way, you really should give your game a proper name! |
| Oct 5 20:50:25 | 8m 10s | Endless Night on Galaxy Railway | ♥ 2 | The art/graphics are great! There was'nt any audio on my computer so I won't rate it. Not sure if it is a bug or if you did'nt implement it. The narration is quite cool. I would enjoy a longer and polished version, with a lot more station and dreamy dialogues. |
| Oct 5 21:06:14 | 15m 49s | Stranger | ♥ 1 | The labyrinth is quite hard, but the aesthetic is really cool. I enjoyed the "grain" effect. A game like this with different mini-labyrinth with different kind of mood could be great. I'm not sure the ennemies bring something to the game. Good job with this one! |
| Oct 5 21:18:14 | 12m 00s | The Lone Starmen | ♥ 1 | It's really pretty! There's not so much gameplay, but the mood is there. The artwork/graphics are fantastic. With some kind of variations an more possibilities to "draw" with the stars, you could have a nice little relacing game with this! Good job! |
| Oct 5 21:24:11 | 5m 57s | Groundhog Pepper | ♥ 0 | Is there anything else to do except putting letters in mailboxes? I was unable to interact else. It seems like a good prototype like @cax said! Some collisions are a bit weird but controls works perfectly. |
| Oct 5 21:32:03 | 7m 52s | Captcha | ♥ 2 | Cool idea and neat implementation. The text to speech was quite hard to understand. I love the coffee break. :D It could be cool with more minigames and some music! |
| Oct 5 21:34:52 | 2m 49s | Dopamine Drip | ♥ 0 | The concept is fun and it's a great demo. Not really a full game, but that's really a good job for a ludum dare. |
| Oct 5 21:47:27 | 12m 35s | Mechanic in a Loop | ♥ 0 | Good job! Graphics and speech works well! At first, the goal of the game is not really clear. With a tutorial level, and better visual indication (a different color for the last platform for example), it could be quite cool! |
| Oct 5 21:52:12 | 4m 45s | End the Rampage | ♥ 1 | It's really hard and difficult to understand how to use the items, but the mechanics are great. A bigger level could be cool, and controls are a bit difficult sometimes! It would benefit to have some kind of sound fx to indicate if the monster is close or not. Overall, good job! |
| Oct 5 22:03:16 | 11m 04s | Escape Velocity | ♥ 1 | Controls feels a bit weird, and everything depends of the beginning. It's a cool concept, and the implementation is nice. I don't knwow why, there was'nt any sound on my computer. Love the graphics, and it's a nice interpretation of the theme. |
| Oct 6 10:48:03 | 12h 44m | Infinite Cycle | ♥ 1 | The artstyle and the concept are cool. I guess that some sound FX could help understand what happens. Some kind of tutorial could be great too. Quite cool! |
| Oct 6 10:55:02 | 6m 59s | The Mysterious Tome: Prologue | ♥ 1 | Nice mechanics with the objects, and the bow is fun. I guess the game could use some music? As @leggy said, the jump is sometime frustrating. |
| Oct 6 11:02:50 | 7m 48s | B.O.M. | ♥ 0 | It works really well! I did'nt experience any bug. Some attacks of the B.O.M. are really hard to avoid, but I guess it's ok because the game would be too easy otherwise. Nice job with this game. (I did'nt rate you in humor, I'm not sure if your game is really meant to be humourous) |
| Oct 6 11:04:54 | 2m 04s | Void | ♥ 2 | This seems interesting. I can't try it right now but I've bookmarked it so I can try it this evening. |
| Oct 6 11:24:27 | 19m 33s | The Innermost Inside | ♥ 1 | Ok that was a nice game experience. I especially like the change on the sound fx on the last level, it's a really nice touch. I can see a longuer game like this, with little puzzles (portals, gravity, etc.). Good job! |
| Oct 6 11:31:00 | 6m 33s | ...a loop is a loop is... | ♥ 2 | That's really great, with very good puzzles. I'm really bad at platformers, so it would have been better for me if the jumps were a little more easy. Nice idea, nice impementation, and artwork/graphics/audio are cool. That's a solid JAM game! |
| Oct 6 11:43:06 | 12m 06s | Seasoned Wizards | ♥ 0 | I did'nt understood the "light" puzzle, but I really enjoy the rest of the game. Clever mechanics, with nice assets and good gameplay! Good job! |
| Oct 6 11:47:01 | 3m 55s | The Hidden Soul | ♥ 1 | Very nice! :) It took me some time to get used to the "swap to move" mechanic, but after that it was fun to navigate in the dungeon and kill some angry mobs. I really liked the audio atmosphere and the pixelated graphics. The game was a bit difficult for me and I didn't make it very far, but I usually almost don't play 3D FPS games, so it may not be as hard for someone used to this kind of gameplay. On the technical side, great job on the engine, it works beautifully! I played on Linux via Wine and it felt bug free. |
| Oct 6 13:11:03 | 1h 24m | Neverending partyween | ♥ 2 | Very nice game! I made it to the end after something like four tries (the time was almost up on my successful attempt), that was cool! The halloween theme was a nice addition to the mood, and the same goes for the piano track. I'm not totally convinced by the 3d and 2d assets mixing, but taken separately, each of the sets were very well done. I particularly liked the characters in 2D and the houses in 3D. |
| Oct 6 13:13:11 | 2m 08s | Looping for lööps | ♥ 2 | Your game is fun but is reaaally hard. I was stuck at where your second screenshot is, not knowing how to disable the laser. But I'm pretty bad at platformer, so it ma explain why I didn't manage to finish the game. Good job on the graphics and mechanics! |
| Oct 6 13:19:28 | 6m 17s | A-Cornered | ♥ 1 | The artwork/graphics are great! The squirrel is super cute. The mini-game is simple, but flawless. Some kind of highscore screen could be a nice addition! |
| Oct 6 13:32:15 | 12m 47s | Electro Dash | ♥ 2 | The art (graphics and sound) of the game are super nice, and controls works well. I would have prefer if the dash were more "energetic". It run perfectly on my computer too (using firefox). |
| Oct 6 13:32:53 | 38s | BULLETS FROM THE PAST | ♥ 2 | Very cool, I loved it! Graphics are very polished, and they remain clear thanks to the present/past contrast, even when it's a total mayhem all around. The music fits nicely, and the gameplay controls are well balanced, not too slow, not too fast. Good job! Screenshot at 2020-10-06 15-27-40.png |
| Oct 6 18:29:58 | 4h 57m | Curse of the Time Stone | ♥ 0 | The mechanics works quite well. The level selection menu could be improved, it is not really responsive when we click on a button and, and it gives the impression that it is a a tutorial with 5 levels. Graphics are good, and I did'nt experience any bug (there could be a lot of bugs with this kind of gameplay). Pretty good job overall. |
| Oct 6 18:57:18 | 27m 20s | Hyperloop | ♥ 1 | I saw some gif you posted during the event, it made me think of audiosurf. And there is definitely an audiosurf vibe in this game. Making 2 levels of difficulty and variations during the gameply is a great addition. You really could make a full game with this concept. This is the best compo game during this event I've seen so far. Good job! |
| Oct 6 19:03:48 | 6m 30s | Doodle-Oop! | ♥ 3 | The graphics are super cute! Nice drawing here. The concept of the game is simple but efficient, and well implemented. I guess it would be better if there was more stars at the beginning of the game, because it's quite slow to start. And some collisions (with the birds) seemed a little "unfair" to me, but that may be just a feeling. Overall, that's a good LD game, good job! |
| Oct 6 19:10:38 | 6m 50s | Eat your cereals | ♥ 1 | What the hell is that thing? Ok, that was weird and fun, it made me laugh. And it's actually quite difficult. It's always good to have some fun whith physics! |
| Oct 6 19:14:48 | 4m 10s | Stick-Dem | ♥ 1 | It's simple but it works. The theme implementation is quite thin but it does not really matter. It could be better with some music, I think. (i made 109 points) |
| Oct 6 19:22:16 | 7m 28s | Overrun | ♥ 3 | It feels like a good mix between space invaders and tempest 2000. I really enjoyed the music, it feels like old-school demoscene with a little of daft punk. *Pilot ? Piloooot.* |
| Oct 6 19:35:39 | 13m 23s | Idol | ♥ 1 | Love the indiana jones vibe. Overall, it's a solid entry, nice graphics, nice music, a real ending. Everything seems polished. The puzzles are really well done. The sound didn't work on firefox, but worked on chrome, I don't know why. |
| Oct 6 19:47:18 | 11m 39s | Loop Online Mmo | ♥ 1 | Good job on making a multiplayer game, and on creating bots to populate it. It's not an easy thing to do. It could be improved with some audio, but overall it's a solid entry. |
| Oct 6 20:00:07 | 12m 49s | Eloi's Adventure | ♥ 2 | Explosing the shadows made me think of old lemmings games. Some puzzles are very good, but jumping is quite hard. I really enjoyed the variety of ennemies. |
| Oct 6 20:13:17 | 13m 10s | Looper | ♥ 1 | Woooah, that's a super polished game. Quite incredible for a jam. The music, the UI, the graphics, everything is fine. My brain had some difficulte to adapt to the "left/right" concept on loops, but it's my brain, don't worry about it. I would really play a longer version of this game, with some different mechanics. One of the best LD47 games i've played so far. |
| Oct 6 20:15:05 | 1m 48s | Colorful Memories | ♥ 1 | I loved the experience! The graphical atmosphere (shader, blur, colors, world curve...) is very well made. The music adds nicely to the mood, and it's perfectly in the theme. |
| Oct 6 20:22:29 | 7m 24s | The Hanging Tree | ♥ 1 | It's really good once you know that you can climb the rope with the right mous button. A kind of intro/tutorial could help. And I guess the game could use some music. Good work on the "swinging vibe" with nice 3d work. Overall, that's a fun little thing, good job (and I love your interpretation of the theme)! |
| Oct 6 20:35:01 | 12m 32s | Clockmaker | ♥ 1 | I'm reeeaaaally bad at platformer games, and it seems that the game is quite hard. So I did'nt finish it. But from what i've seen, it's very polished, with a nice art (graphical AND audio), with cute animation, a beautiful UI, and the controls responds really well. I really don't know what to give for advices. And everybody should love clockworks. |
| Oct 6 20:35:50 | 49s | Swing to safety | ♥ 0 | I really liked the overall mood and the game mechanics, but yeah I agree that it is very hard xD |
| Oct 6 20:57:15 | 21m 25s | Aztec Ride | ♥ 3 | This is super super fun. Awesome graphics, and super fun (and immersive) sounds. Love the way we can have more fuel. I really don't have any advice or critism to give. It's one of the most (maybe the most) fun LD47 game I've played so far. (The music and sound fx are really great, and that's rare in LD games) Awesome work! |
| Oct 6 21:18:53 | 21m 38s | STAMP! | ♥ 2 | That was awesome. "Stamping" the boss and the following feels super... good? Well, I guess, working in factories when I was younger has created some predispostion for liking this game. The pixel art is really nice. |
| Oct 6 21:31:50 | 12m 57s | Commuter | ♥ 3 | At the beginning, I did'nt see that I could place some traps and the second level seemed impossible. I guess some little UI improvement could make the checkbock more visible? Except for that minor thing, it was quite fun. The music works well with this kind of game. That's a very good job for a 72h jam. |
| Oct 6 21:41:52 | 10m 02s | Leopold the Lich | ♥ 2 | Very cool! I tested v2, it was nice and smooth, and overall fun to play. I particularly liked the animation with the straw, as well as the win/lose screens :) |
| Oct 7 10:35:03 | 12h 53m | Resurrection | ♥ 15 | @etrealjunior please STOP spamming every game with the same comment. I'll look at your game later. |
| Oct 7 12:06:04 | 1h 31m | Caterpiloop | ♥ 0 | The sound FX made me laugh! Like @denzil-gomes I was unable to launch the game. The web version seems to have really nice graphics. |
| Oct 7 12:08:20 | 2m 16s | EternalLoop | ♥ 0 | It's ok, it happens sometimes. Next time will be better! |
| Oct 7 12:24:49 | 16m 29s | Hanrick Hornigold and the Amazing Toothbrush of Liberty | ♥ 1 | Nice job on this game. It's quite original, I loved the contrast between the silly humor and the atmospheric piano soundtrack. It's not a so easy game, but I enjoyed it. It's always great to see some text adventures. As other said, some parts are a bit too long, but it's hard to write so much content in so little time. Good job! |
| Oct 7 18:58:36 | 6h 33m | Office Havoc | ♥ 1 | Graphism and gameplay works really well. It feels like a bad day at office. As other said, the difficulty curve is quite quick, and a less repetitive music could have been great. I could ad that some kind of highscore screen with the number of tasks done could be a cool addition. Overall the game is simple but effective. Good job! |
| Oct 7 19:05:49 | 7m 13s | Mission ∞ | ♥ 2 | The popping sound of the gun is really fun. As others have said already, the graphics are cool, but the game is really hard because of the dark fog: the only way I found to survive a little bit is to constantly shoot all around me to shoot enemies before I could see them (I have to say that I'm pretty bad at this kind of game, so my comment on this should be taken with caution). Thanks for this game! |
| Oct 7 19:26:33 | 20m 44s | It goes on and on and on Dungeon | ♥ 1 | Really nice game! I've never played *blek* but the mechanics you have put in your game works really well. The graphics fits well with the the gameplay. If I would add little things it would be (but I understand it was not possible with the time you had): * Some simple music (2 channels oldschool chiptune) and sound FX * A kind of intro/tutorial level with a demonstration of a "diagonal" swipe, because I did'nt understood at first I could make some long swaps with different directions * A time/score thing. Some levels can be achieved with a lot of different strategies, it could be great to reward a player that tries to fine the most optimal way to achieve the lvl. I really liked it, good job for a ludum dare game made with "no time". (I did'nt rate the humor, because it does'nt seem to be the point of the game) |
| Oct 7 19:39:02 | 12m 29s | Containment Vector | ♥ 2 | It's simple but it works well! I think that with a few thing added, you could make a cool little game: - More different ennemies - Some kind of upgrade for the stations - A better scoring system (some kind of malus when you shoot nothing, etc) - A soundtrack - Some "quality of life" ameliorations (sound cues for the ennemies that take two hits, "cooldown bar" for the cannon, etc) The concept works really well, and is well executed: i did'nt experience any kind of bug or glitch. Good job on this one! |
| Oct 7 19:48:52 | 9m 50s | Link the Fire | ♥ 1 | Hey, I really enjoyed the mood on this one. The graphics and the "story/world" fits very well together, and the mechanics are flawless. I would really enjoy to learn more thing about the world, it feels like a demo of what could be a cool atmospheric game. The only thing I would criticize is the sound design. Birds and mining sound are too present, and I think a more ambient soundscape would be better with the world you've created. Good job! (I did'nt rate you on humor, it does not feel that this game was meant to be humourous) |
| Oct 7 19:57:17 | 8m 25s | Loop Factory | ♥ 1 | Nicely done! The graphics are cute, and the music goes well with the mood of the game. As for the mechanics, it's easy to understand the UI and how to control the robot, and the puzzles look cool :) I haven't been very far (I'm not very good at puzzle games in general), but I spent a fun moment ingame! |
| Oct 7 20:02:03 | 4m 46s | Hell Glider | ♥ 3 | This is a most pleasant game experience. The mechanics and controls works and feels perfectly well. I'm not a platformer-addict but I finished this one because I was having so much fun. Good job on making a redish palette/graphics that does not feel bloody, the game is very pretty. Even the level design is great with a good difficulty curve, and that's a difficult thing to make in such a short time. The only thing I would add is some music! |
| Oct 8 11:04:01 | 15h 01m | Circle Golf | ♥ 1 | The game is quite fun. I used the PC build because there are some issues with the webgl build: - it's a little laggy - there is some issue with a shader, i guess: Capture d’écran_2020-10-08_12-58-02.png The game could use better music. Overall, it's simple but fun. The concept is great and well implemented, controls are flawless. You made some good choices with the level design. |
| Oct 8 11:16:58 | 12m 57s | RingCastle | ♥ 1 | Ok that's a really interesting prototype. As others have said, it has some kind of dark souls vibe. I would enjoy a longue game like this, maybe with some puzzle with the barrels/objects, and some slow combats. I would really enjoy to explore this world a little more. Super moody game, I liked it. |
| Oct 8 11:32:53 | 15m 55s | Stuck In Paris | ♥ 2 | Ok, this game is silly (in a good way) and super fun. You made a great job, it's simple but flawless in the controls. By the way, as a member of the "chocolat-endive" team, I can only approve the name "cocapasteque". |
| Oct 8 13:11:13 | 1h 38m | Loop2Loop | ♥ 1 | Nice visuals! Having several gamemodes to play is unusual for a jam game, that's great you were able to achieve this variety. The colorblind mode and the different color themes is also a nice addition. On the gameplay itself, I found the game a bit slow (controls, animations), with graphical and sound stuttering sometimes, but I played through Wine, so that might be the cause. Otherwise it worked well and I was able to play the 3 modes. A nice entry overall! :) |
| Oct 8 13:27:14 | 16m 01s | Aboard | ♥ 1 | Perfect little game! Excellent mood, very cool graphics, nice choice of music, easy controls with clear gameplay, and all this nicely blends to convey the message. |
| Oct 8 13:40:47 | 13m 33s | A Duck in Time | ♥ 2 | I enjoyed going through the different rooms, and I chose to press the button on the "do not press!" panel xD I had some difficulty understanding how to use the recoil to get out of the room where you have to use it at the beginning, but otherwise it went fine. Having infinite lives that reload the tape gun is indeed quite useful. ... And nice work on the background parallax, it looks cool :) |
| Oct 8 14:34:01 | 53m 14s | Imperial Eggnog Incorporated | ♥ 1 | Really nice! I appreciated the overall humour in the events and the CEO lines. I didn't realise at first that I could click on the screen to get the ingredients for a particular batch, but I finally found out on the second day by clicking all around. |
| Oct 8 14:48:58 | 14m 57s | Lily The Bee | ♥ 2 | Nice entry! I liked the cutscenes telling the story, as well as the palette choice for the overall mood. I agree with the previous comments regarding the bullet size or lack of outline. |
| Oct 8 20:28:04 | 5h 39m | F#@#! Its Christmas Again | ♥ 2 | That was quite fun! It's cool to see other people's score. I really enjoyed that the music gain some speed with the rest of the game. The only negative side for me is that I think the fire's hitbox is pretty unforgiving but that's not a real problem. Very good job on this one, I'm going to watch your making of video. That a really solid jam game! |
| Oct 13 21:09:48 | 120h 41m | Stormy Delivery | ♥ 1 | As others said the balancing of the game could really be improved. I feel the game would be enhanced with some music, more diverse fx and, most importantly some kind of game over screen (maybe with the high score?). I noticed we could go "out of bound". I enjoyed the controls, as @annie-owl said, they are floaty, but it feels right for me. Nice entry for a compo. Good job! |
| Oct 13 21:23:23 | 13m 35s | Horizon Signal | ♥ 3 | The overall mood, gaphics and sound/music is really nice imho. I really love the blips. I think the game would have been better if the different choices leaded to different endings and not just a loop. Also, after the first time, the "cinematic/text" is reeeaaally slow. Some way to skip it could have been great. I'm not sure the boss fight suits well to the game it's to much "space invaders" and not really "atmospheric-sci-fi-dark-horror" like the rest. I really enjoyed the narrative side. Nice entry, and thanks for sharing this little game. I really feel you could build a longer and more "deep" game with this little prototype. |
| Oct 13 21:41:07 | 17m 44s | HONK II | ♥ 1 | Ok this is fun and really polished. I'm not sure I have anything to add that have'nt been said. But it's really a neat jam game. Very polished. The shotgun is really my favorite weapon. :D |
| Oct 13 21:48:16 | 7m 09s | iLoop - the 2D endless runner game of a robot stuck in a loop :) | ♥ 1 | Simple, but it works. With some custom assets and graphical coherence, some more variety and some way to share highscore, it cool be a fun little game. Good job! |
| Oct 15 14:07:00 | 40h 18m | Blobs | ♥ 0 | Mechanics works really well for a compo game! I experience no glitch or bugs. This kind of game could work well with different levels (with or without walls, holes, etc), this would allow for the player to have to make strategic choices about the updates. Limited numbers of round per level and some kind of highscore could be great too. The sound FX are a bit to loud for me. |
| Oct 15 14:19:54 | 12m 54s | The Elder Ruins | ♥ 1 | Nice little platformer! I really enjoyed the music, it's simple, but it really sets the mood. At first, I thought the "blood" particles from the enemies was bullets I had to avoid. I think that more puzzle and less enemies (since they are quite rudimentary) would create a more interesting game, it would work best with the general spooky/ambient mood. |
| Oct 15 14:52:12 | 32m 18s | Driven Round the Loop | ♥ 3 | It works really well! Some levels were quite difficult, but the difficulty curve is really nice. I don't know if everybody experienced the same thing, but for me, music and sound FX stops when I use the pause button. Love the explosion. Overall, it's simple and well implemented, quite flawless. I liked it! |
| Oct 15 14:56:44 | 4m 32s | Into the Portal | ♥ 0 | It's quite hard, but fun. As other said, the direction of the shot is not really intuitive. A simple but cool game. I did'nt experience any glitch. Some kind of introduction/tutorial could be a cool addition! |
| Oct 15 15:03:15 | 6m 31s | Rock of Ages | ♥ 1 | I guess we really are stuck in a loop with this one. The art is really pretty. What did you use to make the music? I don't know if really matters, but I encountered some glitches when being pushed down. Sometimes I was not able to start to climb again for 5 or 6 seconds. And the grass seems to despawn when we go upper and we can see it respawn when we're down. It's simple, but fun. A series of minigames with different mythological mini-scenes like could be a nice strange conceptual game. |
| Oct 15 17:09:46 | 2h 06m | Stuck in the Clock | ♥ 1 | It's a simple and relaxing game. The evoluting music was a excellent idea. There seems to be a little bug: when I jumped on the yellow gear to quickly, the sound FX would not play. And sometimes, when we hit twice the same yellow gear because the transition to the next one is too slow it seems to register it as a "legit" move. If you polish it a little more, it could be a great mini-game. I really enjoyed the simple clock design. |
| Oct 15 17:18:39 | 8m 53s | NightmESCHER | ♥ 0 | @matlab idea for sound and music could be really a really nice thing. Good job with this entry! |
| Oct 27 19:41:42 | 290h 23m | Recycling loop | ♥ 0 | You really should add some kind of shadow, it's pretty hard to see where the drone is. |
| Oct 27 19:49:55 | 8m 13s | Sasha | ♥ 0 | Very nice prototype! The mood is really cool, especially the audio. I hope you'll continue to develop this project :) |
