This was one amazing experience! The sound effects and voice acting are so well done and fit great wiwhin the game. Think the theme is also implemented quite nicely. One of the better ones I came across so far!

Thank you @bredera!! I will be sure to check out your game also :)
This seems interesting. I can't try it right now but I've bookmarked it so I can try it this evening.
This is an excellent audio experience! Really enjoyed playing through ! Good job!
@chocolat-endive and @peeweek - thank you very much! I'll check out your games now :D
Nice shaders. Great audio quality. Not sure how it relates to the theme.
Specific things that could be improved: - The audio talks about being near a black hole but the sky contains the earth? Maybe a more obviously foreign planet would be good to. - It's easy to look the wrong way in the airlock and look at the wrong door, maybe some sort of basic decoration on one end of the corridor - Couple of cases of z-fighting (two triangles being co-planar) - Try to avoid 100% black rooms makes it difficult to know whether you are looking up or horizontally.
@domnomnom Thank you for your helpful comment!! I agree with each of your points, and I really appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback
I enjoyed it alot. Gave me a good creep.
The atmosphere in this was fantastic, even though the scenes were mostly empty the sound design and voice acting had me constantly on edge. The shader effects around the anomaly were great and made me feel _very_ uneasy, but in a good way. Each time I had to do a space-walk I was spooked! Good entry
Audio and shaders are amazing! I enjoyed the experience. If you are using the flash light inside the base, you are missing the text overlay (you can't see it). Great job, good luck!
It certainly gives off a "2001 a space odissey" vibe, great job! I had a weird issue with lighting: basically the light position wasn't synced with the earth (i'm assuming that the earth is the object giving light), so i was a bit puzzled when i saw light rays coming through the window without an actual source. Maybe it was just my pc tho :)
You made a wonderful work with sound design, binaural effect and voice acting. Shaders are quite great too! @domnomnom advices are great in my opinion.
I would have enjoyed even more abstract scenes.
It's always great to see riginal experiments during ludum dare. Thanks for sharing this little game!
Thank you all, really encouraging words  I'll admit I did the models myself and I am by no means an artist! Definitely a couple of lighting issues, well noticed! 2001: A Space Odyssey was absolutely an influence for us, as was Gravity: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1454468/ and Moon: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1182345/ two more excellent (but less classic) space films. I am very glad to hear that people enjoyed the shaders as well! I will make sure I play everyone's games tomorrow
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
@etrealjunior Thank you!! And absolutely, I will check it out now :D
A really cute experience. My favourite bit is the soundscape at the moment the helmet cracks. The lighting glitching through walls ruined the immersion a bit, but there wasn't much you probably could have done about that. I actually liked how grounded it was quite a bit. If instead of Earth it were some alien planet in the sky, the supernatural element wouldn't have had quite as strong as an impact. The surface of the object you're on could have been smoother for the same reason. The game didn't really hit the theme, but I see how it could. If you are developing this further, the mood would benefit from having a little more humanity in the scene. Something small and routine, like a coffee cup.
Good experience, wonderful audio component, a little mesmerizing atmosphere and great graphics!
It was worth getting my headphones out. Great job on the audio and atmosphere. Bit sad it ended at the void I wanted to see more
Different take on the theme than most games I've played so far. I like the focus on mood. You've done a fantastic job with sound design, animation and VFX and created a memorable experience. A few single deep synth tones of music could deepen the feelings you evoke. Some clearer feedback for the walking could do good in the voidy scenes. Of course I'd love to see more content (but that's no point of critic in a 3-day jam).
Wonderful audio experince! I feel like there was little dymanic through the course of the game, but the feel of loneliness is conveyed pretty well.
Gave me some Space Odyssey vibes somehow. Short and sweet, definitely rough but don't we forget it was made only in 3 days. I loved the quality and detail of sounds, but felt this binaural thing didn't really make an impression that it could - like maybe more whispers from this "monolith" or something else, there is more potential in this tech for sure. Definitely combined with visual effects it made me a little disoriented and uncomfortable around this "anomaly", which is not a bad thing, I loved it :)
I'm really thrilled by this little game. The sound design is outstanding! Congratulations!
The sound design is really amazing man! It gave me goosebumps . Please visit my game too and rate it.https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/the-dumb-robot
Thank you everyone, so great to log back in and read your comments!! @jakob-reborn I agree, I'd absolutely be wanting to take the binaural stuff further in a later version, especially with the whispers (since they're so disturbing haha)! @lumue Also an excellent point regarding some synths - there's actually no real 'music' in it so far, and I think it would be a great shout adding some drones/deep tones to add to the atmosphere. Going to play some more games now so I shall do my best to play everyone's!!
I loved this! Gave me the vibes of all my favourite sci-fi space movies, and some Hellblade type stuff with the voice acting! Definitely 5 stars for audio. I really enjoyed the style and atmosphere of this!
This is really great! Sound design in particular was excellent, all those static noises and whispers were key to creating that lovecraftian cosmic horror. Visuals were really excellent too, loved the visual effects when approaching the void, and that final cube room was made very terrifying with only that single texture. Other than the obvious, it reminds me of an old indie game favourite of mine, 'Good Morning, Commander'. Voice acting was very good too and really complements the pacing of the story.
Wow, your game has an incredible horror atmosphere! I really liked the graphics, and especially the sound. The game arouses you curiosity in wanting to know more, and a lot of tension at the same time for not understanding exactly what is happening (and what can happen). The experience in general is very interesting. I would love to play an extended and complete version. Good job.
Wow I would love to play a full version of this game! Best entry so far for me!
