Aug 13 18:58:14 HexaGlitcher ♥ 0 Tried playing it now on macOS using Safari, game loaded and music started but no visuals or repsonse after loading. Will try again later on Linux+Firefox. #opensource4life
Aug 13 20:00:54 1h 02m CLAUSTROPHOBOI ♥ 1 That looks brilliant. Sadly, I've only got Linux :(
Aug 13 20:05:17 4m 23s Boxed ♥ 0 Awwwww, really wanted to try this... No Linux version...
Aug 13 20:18:10 12m 53s Plastic Patch Cleanup ♥ 1 Found it a little boring I'm afraid to say, but it is very hard making a game using such basic tools. I liked the fact that it takes real-world problems as an inspiration.
Aug 13 20:29:10 11m 00s Dear Leader's Diet Plan ♥ 1 That was... unexpected? Fun idea, but fiendishly difficult for poor old me. XD
Aug 13 20:43:26 14m 16s Claustro ♥ 1 Hahahahaha, you got my game's name first, mine's under ludum-dare/42/claustro-1, but how different they are! Always nice to hear your not the only one who's new to this. I liked the visuals, although I found the smooth/pixel hybrid didn't quite fit. The take on the theme is very original, although I'm not sure whether it's 'running out' as you still have the same space, just not visible. All in all, good effort, keep on!
Aug 13 20:47:42 4m 16s Boom Boom Farms! ♥ 1 What an odd idea! Looks wonderful with all the coins flying out left, right and center. XD
Aug 13 20:55:56 8m 14s Warehouse ♥ 1 Hahahahaha, not bad, love the fact that I can win easily by putting all the boxes by the exit and just push them on. They even float through each other! Was a little confused by the interface and the camera angle was challenging, but all in all I'd give it a 8/10.
Aug 13 21:07:54 11m 58s Petri Panic! ♥ 0 Brilliant! Everything works really well together. Not great on mood, but absolutely smashing in fun and theme. A solid 8/10 from me. PS: How about adding screenshots to the page. Helps marketing etc. ;)
Aug 14 16:02:53 18h 54m Surrounded ♥ 1 Lovely mechanic, like the fact that the dead cells still have physics.
Aug 14 16:11:55 9m 02s Compression ♥ 1 I LOVE the way the visuals change instead of a standard health/life bar. I found it very difficult, even on the easy setting, but I'm just terrible at these sorts of things in general. XD
Aug 14 16:22:07 10m 12s EPIC THEATER ♥ 1 I do like the idea, certainly quite original. Music and visuals were nicely matched. A few bugs, though.
Aug 14 16:34:19 12m 12s King of Bjorp ♥ 1 Very fun, like the fact that it has a wide range of support, be it input method or player amount. Found the controls rather difficult though.
Aug 14 16:42:50 8m 31s Overwrite ♥ 1 That looks so cool, wish I could try it. (Linux/HTML only :( )
Aug 14 16:52:14 9m 24s Dataphobia ♥ 0 What a smart idea! Like the music, the visuals (although the could be a little more polished) look nice, especially the UI, but I find it a pity that you're almost forced to pick certain abilities... All in all, nice entry!
Aug 14 17:04:07 11m 53s ToFSDfSftPDRRoDwL ♥ 1 THE STUFF HAPPENING!!! Well, 5 stars on the visuals there. Didn't find the concept too inspiring, but it was well executed.
Aug 14 17:58:44 54m 37s Finding the Path ♥ 0 I like the way the fragments crystallise to form a coherent maze, and the fact that there were multiple objects to be brought to their places of belonging.
Aug 14 18:24:11 25m 27s Inventorious ♥ 1 A textbook example of good tutorial design: Introduce one mechanic at a time, and don't let them continue until they've sussed it out. Probably the best game I've played so far in terms of visuals and concept. Well done!
Aug 14 18:31:24 7m 13s MinoFall ♥ 1 Very nice, instant 5 on the visuals. The game is fun, but I find it a little too RNG-heavy.
Aug 14 18:41:14 9m 50s Ice n Fire ♥ 0 Very nice, like the visuals and the concept. My movement seemed to freeze every now and then, is that normal?
Aug 14 19:00:59 19m 45s Grave Heart ♥ 3 Very nice, loved it all, the artwork, the voiceacting, the humour, the contents, everything. I found the anti-aliasing a little strong though and I didn't find it too innovative. All in all, very good entry!
Aug 16 05:55:57 34h 54m SANDSTORM ♥ 1 Wish there were a Linux version. :(
Aug 16 06:02:49 6m 52s Pre Alpha Build ♥ 2 Vigorous visuals, snazzy SFX and giddy gameplay. A good addition to the ranks of LD42! Pity you didn't manage to get all the things you wanted in...
Aug 16 06:08:39 5m 50s Unbelievable Space Runner ♥ 1 A simple concept, not something very original though. The music is brilliant though, and the artwork nice! I really liked the Idea of the player getting quicker step-by-step, instead of gradually speeding up.
Aug 16 06:09:54 1m 15s Don´t Hit The Ducks! ♥ 0 Awwww, no Linux :(
Aug 16 06:11:20 1m 26s LANDESCAPE ♥ 1 Sorry, can't play without a Linux version :(
Aug 16 17:13:03 11h 01m Bookbinding ♥ 0 My, that was incredibly tough! Wish there were a 'slow mode' for useless people like me. XD Absolutely brilliant concept, though I felt it was almost more running out of time than space.
Aug 16 17:17:46 4m 43s Armageddon ♥ 1 Certainly interesting and suitable for the theme, well done! The visuals look very interesting, though they don't go easy on the eyes, and the audio is very good. All in all, a solid entry.
Aug 16 17:21:22 3m 36s Crumble ♥ 2 Oooh, I do like the visuals, and the music fits so well! I didn't find it too innovative, though. But nice entry!
Aug 16 21:15:38 3h 54m Zachary's Memory ♥ 1 Une joue trés jolie. A beautiful game, not too different from mine in inspiration, but one that tells a story rather than provide you with a puzzle. It's heart-wrenching to get a memory wrong, having it be lost for all eternity... c'est une idée trop triste. All in all, a very artistic game, although I didn't find it 'fun' per say. (Corriges-moi STP, je veux entraine ma francais terrible. XD)
Aug 21 18:14:49 116h 59m Postman ♥ 0 A lovely, nicely packaged game! Beautiful audio, but not too new of an idea. All in all, nice entry!
Aug 21 18:19:15 4m 26s Stepping Stones ♥ 0 An interesting and very challenging concept! Could do with a little polish, but all else is well!
Aug 30 18:19:49 216h 00m Electric Sleep ♥ 1 Doing some last-minute rating, love the look and feel, although I had trouble navigating at first and wasn't sure what my aim was.
Aug 30 19:02:20 42m 31s Datacell: a dungeon crawl ♥ 0 Like the retro-feel, although I had difficulty finding the controls out and the overall game isn't very innovative.
Aug 30 19:06:43 4m 23s Neon Sign Placer Pro ♥ 1 What an odd idea! Has a nice feel to it, although it seems to lack something.
Aug 30 19:13:25 6m 42s Poisoned Palace ♥ 1 I loved the ice boomerang thingy, a great addition. Nice looks, nice sound, quite difficult at times.
Aug 30 19:19:04 5m 39s Get To The Park ♥ 0 Hahahahahaha, lovely animations, nice sound, found the controls very difficult though (almost a little annoying). I would recommend working with transform.translate instead of the physics engine for this sort of thing. If you'd prefer using physics, I might've added more friction to the 2D physics material. Hope that helps you with any future projects ;)
Aug 30 19:23:40 4m 36s Disaster at Starbase 7 ♥ 1 There you go, 20 ratings! Although the graphics were lacking a little polish (good effort, though), I liked the concept and the audio. It would've been niche to be alerted when you're taking damage. All in all, nice entry!
Aug 30 19:27:01 3m 21s Claustrophobic ♥ 1 Sadly the UI seemed to be larger than the screen? Using Firefox. Will try again if fix possible.
Aug 30 19:34:24 7m 23s Take care of her ♥ 2 I believe I've seen a similar game, also from a french developer, this LD. Loved the crisp & clean aesthetics, although reading tons of text isn't really my thing. All in all, une bonne joue avec une air trés plaisant. (Corrige-moi stp, j'ai une orthographie terrible XD)
Aug 30 19:39:32 5m 08s ASTROPOCALYPSE ♥ 1 A brilliant idea, nicely executed, although the instructions were a bit dense. It got very hectic at times!
Aug 31 17:34:52 21h 55m out of control ♥ 1 A nice first entry. Liked the very original take on the audio, but had difficulty understanding the mechanics (what's that thing in the middle? Why are there different files? Are some stronger than others? etc.). Having a huge idea is a very difficult thing to deal with, especially under time pressure, but that's what practice is for ;) . If you get the chance, try improving your English by reading or watching videos with subtitles - it can help a lot!
Aug 31 17:49:52 15m 00s Petris ♥ 0 Like the fact that it had the 'PETRIS' bonus. Good sound and polished graphics, but not very original and a little boring. (Some music might've livened it up too)
Aug 31 18:41:36 51m 44s Brick It! ♥ 0 Nice concept, visuals and audio. Well polished, didn't find it too original though.
Aug 31 18:44:52 3m 16s Shrinking Ceiling ♥ 0 Pity I can't try it, I'm Linux/HTML5 only :(
Aug 31 18:51:27 6m 35s Scrap Field ♥ 0 Wished there were a small tutorial or something thereof. Liked the idea, nice feel to everything, audio might've been nice, and I couldn't sell myself. Pity. ;)
Aug 31 19:04:57 13m 30s Squeezed Out ♥ 1 An interesting concept, although I wasn't sure what to do in the beginning and found squeezing anything a challenge with such a small window. I liked the fact that the 'grid' was hexagonal, instead of the classic orthogonal. The squeeze could've been a little juicier (perhaps try recording a tomato) and, purely because I notice these things, I would've preferred e.g. 3/15 compared to 15/3.
Aug 31 19:08:00 3m 03s It's All Falling Apart Like ... ♥ 1 Liked the idea, well presented, although I did find the controls a little peculiar.
Aug 31 19:13:10 5m 10s Bunny Ice Cream Maker ♥ 1 A pretty good game: funny, nice SFX, pleasant visuals, certainly an unusual concept.
Aug 31 19:23:31 10m 21s Summer's Lease ♥ 1 A nice and relaxing game, although I found it a stretch with the theme and would've liked some music to go with it.
Aug 31 19:31:55 8m 24s Spaced Out ♥ 0 An interesting concept, like the challenge of finding 'the perfect planet'. Would've liked some audio though.
Aug 31 19:35:36 3m 41s Bunnymark ♥ 0 A fun little entry, missing audio and some more structure though.
Aug 31 19:40:16 4m 40s Achtung die Schlange ♥ 0 A challenge! Thought the controls were like snake at first, but got used to it quickly. Not so fun on your own, an AI might've been fun. The idea of putting it on an obstacle course is very original.
Aug 31 20:41:33 1h 01m Gone Rouge ♥ 1 Not a bad entry, liked the visuals and music, controls were rather difficult and a little boring. Liked the procedural generation, although wasn't easy when the exit was near the edges.
Aug 31 20:45:23 3m 50s AsterVoid ♥ 0 Nice game, liked visuals and SFX, music might've been nice, controls were very hard but could get used to them, could've been a little more innovative.
Sep 1 10:05:55 13h 20m Rick Dervish - Space Cadet ♥ 1 What a good idea! Needs some polish, but nut a bad entry all-in-all.
Sep 1 10:14:17 8m 22s Ludicrous Lift ♥ 0 Well suited to the theme, but you get blocked in very quickly with no where to move...
Sep 1 10:26:07 11m 50s The Gargoyle Landing ♥ 1 A very fun and intuitive game. Love the visuals, the animations and the concept. Would've preferred the block locking into a larger grid (instead of having half-block differences), as the shifting was difficult.
Sep 1 10:36:22 10m 15s Qix ♥ 0 I recognise this concept from somewhere, but it's nicely done and fits the theme. Would've been good to point out that your vulnerable while drawing.
Sep 1 11:35:17 58m 55s Zombie Wackers ♥ 1 Pity I couldn't try this game, HTML5/Linux only :(
Sep 1 11:40:40 5m 23s Follow Line ♥ 1 A really nice entry! Good concept, well delivered. Liked the procedural generation, although I didn't notice that the spikes were deadly. Would've been nice to have home-made visuals to fit better and some music to capture the mood.
Sep 1 11:41:38 58s The Last Robot ♥ 1 Wish I could play, HTML5/Linux only I'm afraid :(
Sep 1 12:36:14 54m 36s Blowup ♥ 1 A very nice entry with a clever twist on a classic game. Liked the fact that it had music, although I think the art could've fitted together better (e.g. faster music, as it's got a lot of movement in it).
Sep 1 12:44:53 8m 39s Breathing Space ♥ 0 A pretty neat entry, liked the writing and the idea.
Sep 2 06:42:21 17h 57m Greenie Goes Right ♥ 1 A very nice, simple game with surprising depth and nice polish. Can't think of anything I would improve, apart from perhaps some music. Well done!
Sep 2 06:48:04 5m 43s Colony Builder ♥ 1 Would've liked a little more description, was rather confused by the mechanics. Things like 'oh, there's a limited amount of ore? Why?' or 'Is the red stuff corruption?' or 'Why is my oxygen going down?'
Sep 2 06:56:21 8m 17s Knight's Crush ♥ 0 Jumping is impossible! And fun. The idea is nice, though not very original and, in browser, it would be good to capture the mouse, so you cloud turn around freely. There was also quite a bit of lag, and the pictures could've been more suited to the other visuals (which are very nice).
Sep 2 07:01:28 5m 07s Robo Revolt ♥ 0 I found the attack charge very slow, which made the game focus on navigating the terrain. Liked the idea of compression, and all was well communicated. Some music and more polished visuals would've done it a service.
Sep 2 07:05:54 4m 26s Get Off My Space ♥ 0 Like the artwork, both visually on audibly, nice premise, found the tractors rather tank-like (could perhaps take fewer hits).
Sep 2 20:49:03 13h 43m Gravity Hook ♥ 0 Would like to play, but I'm currently having difficulty with flash >:( Will try out tomorrow, if all turns out well...
