| Apr 24 11:40:01 | C://TEXTRIS.EXE | ♥ 2 | Wow. This is truly innovative. To be honest, I couldn't finish the story, since it was a bit hard for me to both focus on the Tetris and the word matching plus reading the story so I ended up ignoring the story and enjoying the Tetris. The music was truly fitting for the game. The visual style is simple but works well for the game. However, I like the low pixel font in the in-progress comments above compared to the final version. Overall, it is very impressive. Great Job. | |
| Apr 24 12:58:24 | 1h 18m | Point'n'Kill | ♥ 1 | No Loli No Laifu but this Loli will take your Laifu. Sorry if I made anybody cringe. First of all, I love the mechanics. I was unable to run the web version (loading took forever) so I tried the desktop version which, as you said, was too ez. Still it was hard to know where to click in order to accurately hit the balls. The art style and the music are great. I also wonder where she hides her hands. |
| Apr 24 13:32:17 | 33m 53s | SURVABY | ♥ 2 | Taking care of minecraft babies and fighting zombies is a really enjoyable combination. The first thing I tried was to shoot the babies but it unfortunately didn't work. My only complaint is that there is nothing I can see to track the progress (e.g. time or score) since It would be fun to compare scores with others. The visuals are very nice and the crying was, as it is supposed to be, annoying. Now we need a spin-off where we feed zombies and kill babies, please. |
| Apr 24 14:22:49 | 50m 32s | Gender Circles | ♥ 1 | Nice and simple. I think the control are sometimes too slow to reach the next target. My score was 26 but when I retries, it kept counting from where I stopped. We should make couples play this together. I see that you omitted the graphics rating but I still would express how much I like it (4/5). And the music is truly wonderful (5/5). While it is currently very enjoyable as a single player game, I think it would a great 2 player game especially if there are additional mechanics that needs more coordination skills (e.g. circles that need both genders to be collected). |
| Apr 24 14:42:13 | 19m 24s | Praxre | ♥ 1 | I would give Humor 10 out of 5 if I could, the transition from the dark forest to fishing was really hilarious, and the folk music was one of the main reasons. It is really interesting. |
| Apr 24 15:27:13 | 45m 00s | "You Sunk My Scrabble-Ship" | ♥ 1 | Nice Idea but I wonder: Can't I keep trying till I win? Is there a losing condition? I may be asking ignorantly since I only finished level 1. It was really fun to guess phrase and the simplistic visuals are totally to my liking. |
| Apr 24 16:03:08 | 35m 55s | Ace Golf: Blade Brawlers | ♥ 1 | As if golf wasn't hard enough, now I have to give people concussion. It is really fun, but since I fail hard at golf, I focused on hitting the opponent and we won (1-0). The gameplay, art and sfx is really well done and polished. This game really need a multiplayer mode. |
| Apr 24 19:02:51 | 2h 59m | Crafty | ♥ 0 | That was good, I played till 36/41 but my fingers got tired from the brute-force search. The fantasy part was funny. I totally approve of "Sheep"+"Magic Goo"="Human". The graphics are neat and simple but some effects may have made the game more exciting. |
| Apr 24 19:18:25 | 15m 34s | Match & Shoot | ♥ 1 | I have thought of FPS + Many things while idea-generating but I have never thought of this. It works much better than I initially expected and I totally love it. My High Score is 2960. My only nitpick is that I was expecting the reload to be the right-mouse click. And one more thing, I think adding longer time options would be good since the game currently finishes too quickly. And may be a bigger world with more than one match-3 monolith would be fun too. Great job. |
| Apr 24 19:33:31 | 15m 06s | Maroon | ♥ 2 | This is a really nice and unique mix. I played till I got stuck in an endless revival death loop behind 2 ghosts. It is also hard to kill bees since their shot frequency is too high. Otherwise, it is well done. Good job. |
| Apr 24 19:55:29 | 21m 58s | The Iron Front | ♥ 1 | I had a hard time trying to play this game since I couldn't easily parse things with my eyes. I don't know if it possible but could the ascii be colored in the game? (I know it is possible on normal terminals though). Colors would really help a lot in my opinion. Another thing, as mentioned above, try to use easily distinguishable chars such as '.' or '_' for empty locations. Finally, in terminal, it is common to press up to navigate through past commands which would be helpful. Otherwise, I really like the idea, and hope to see it more polished. |
| Apr 24 20:12:33 | 17m 04s | Radio-Radio | ♥ 0 | Survival Horror was never and probably will never be a genre I am good at. The idea is really creative but the game is too hard (or may be I am just bad which is very probable). The visuals and the sound effects are awesome and creates a great mood that fits the game. I will try again after collecting some courage... hopefully. Excellent job. |
| Apr 24 20:40:56 | 28m 23s | Shake'n'Shoot | ♥ 1 | So I need to dance while enemy is approaching... I like to live dangerously too. Actually, the game is quite easy and to be honest I quitted before dying (My score was 1760). The visuals and music are great but my only nitpick was that the robot felt a bit out of place. The window was a bit big and unresizable (my screen is not FullHD). It also took me some time to notice that the color of the player determines what bullets he shoot. Overall, the game is really fun and I enjoyed it a lot. |
| Apr 24 21:17:01 | 36m 05s | Dice Poker Chicken Battle | ♥ 1 | It was a bit confusing but I won which is the only thing that matters in the end. The art is totally cute. To be honest, I read the tutorial but was still not 100% sure but I relied on my intuitions since some elements were familiar from RPG games. My main problem was that I were not able to predict how the numbers were expected to change (e.g. how much score will be paid for items for example the first item with price 15 only costed me 10). However, it was fun to play . Nicely done. |
| Apr 24 21:44:58 | 27m 57s | FastMath | ♥ 1 | Nice concept and I love the colored pencil art a lot. However, I am too slow to play this game and I have no one to try playing it with. And I wonder if the man on the left actually have a gun. Well done. |
| Apr 24 22:22:46 | 37m 48s | Tempo Quest | ♥ 0 | The art style and the music are awesome, I can't describe how much I love them. The game idea and mechanics are really great. I noticed one problem on my device where I can't play with "123" so I had to use the "WASD HJK" schema. I wonder if this bug is only on my device. |
| Apr 24 23:51:00 | 1h 28m | Gravity Chess | ♥ 1 | Awesome idea. It was so fun that I played through most of the puzzles without noticing. Now I am stuck on one puzzle so I will try again tomorrow. The levels are really well designed and the mechanics is very easy to pick up. |
| Apr 25 10:46:10 | 10h 55m | A Puzzling Combination | ♥ 1 | Really cute. To be honest, I don't find it innovative but it was really fun and challenging for me. The art is really great and so is the music and sounds. I still love how the theme ties more to the story rather than the game mechanics. By the way, My high score is 106, I thought the game would stop at 100 but it didn't, then it told me that we're incompatible then later that we're compatible... Pffft Women!. The game currently has low replay value but it has a great potential of growth.. especially as a mobile game. Great game. |
| Apr 25 12:32:06 | 1h 45m | Don't leave me | ♥ 2 | Nice game, It ended too soon and I was craving for more. The puzzles are really good and I felt sad when he left, I was expecting a plot twist in later level but then it ended 🙁. The art looks good but some animations and sound effects would be really great. Great job. |
| Apr 25 13:52:04 | 1h 19m | Atila el 1 | ♥ 0 | Nice idea, I like the mix between hacking and platforming but I think that the platformer controller can be polished more since it can be annoying sometimes. For example, when I am on the ground but besides a box, my jumps become wall jump and not normal upwards jumps. I also wonder why sometimes I shot but no bullets spawn. Otherwise, the game is pretty cool and even with my complaints, it was really fun. Great job. |
| Apr 25 15:28:51 | 1h 36m | For The Dog | ♥ 1 | Not sure if depressed or angry. The idea is really fun and I enjoyed most of the games. My main problem is that their health is too big so I had to stay in a distant place for long and keep aiming and shooting till they die which lowered the fun for me a little bit. The art style and sfx are really great and The story was really nice. Great job. |
| Apr 25 16:09:06 | 40m 15s | Last Girl On Earth | ♥ 1 | The art looks great, the music is really nice and the gameplay is fun. My only complaint is that it is a bit easy (the difficulty was rising slowly) so the gameplay felt a bit repetitive after a while. However, this is one of the most enjoyable games I've played. Excellent Job. |
| Apr 25 20:05:55 | 3h 56m | Rex McFury: Public Defender | ♥ 2 | Humor 5/5 without any doubt. The idea is extremely fun but I couldn't get used to the controls. I had a hard time understanding what they were saying but the text was hilarious enough. The art looks really good too. Nice job. |
| Apr 25 20:55:08 | 49m 13s | Cyclevania | ♥ 1 | This has the potential to become a really good mobile game. It took me a while to get used to it but once I did, it became fun. The art looks really good but I didn't notice that they were skeleton till I read the game page. Some place seems impossible for me where two spike pits exist beside each other with a skeleton in between or may be it is just my slow reflexes. Overall, good game. |
| Apr 25 22:06:42 | 1h 11m | Bob Ross Adventure | ♥ 1 | Awesome puzzle game. The idea is really great and the puzzle were fun. I think the level should start as idle so that the player can take a nice look and think about it then he presses play and start the level. The html version was acting weird (jittering when I hover over a paintable block), so I played the desktop version which was working well. Great work. |
| Apr 25 23:37:02 | 1h 30m | Puttsy | ♥ 1 | I finished the game, it ended before I was ready and now I crave for more. The puzzles are so fun and easily one of my favorites. I would like to suggest that retrying doesn't reset the level and only resets the ball since sometimes only slight changes are needed. And the cannon control was not very obvious, so I think it could be enhanced. Otherwise the game is totally great and only needs a polishes to be perfect. |
| Apr 26 00:28:28 | 51m 26s | Shadowscape | ♥ 1 | Wow, that was so trippy. The controls are a bit too floaty which I can no longer decide if that is good or bad. It took me sometimes to understand how the keys and mouse were affecting my view but it became easier as soon as it is figured out. Nice idea and implementation and the music was so fitting. Great job. |
| Apr 26 14:51:18 | 14h 22m | Lost Without You | ♥ 1 | The atmosphere is great and even with the basic visuals, the particles and lighting made it a beautiful experience. I had to go read the particle system code in your repo and I am amazed that game jam code can look so neat (I am struggling to trace my own game code after 2 days only). I enjoyed all 4 mazes although it took me some trials to get the last one done. The music was also so beautiful. When I read "turn-based", this wasn't what I expected, but I like your interpretation and think it can fun to apply to other genres too since it adds some sense of urgency and need for fast actions (for example, a multiplayer online game where only one character is allowed to move at a time for limited span then the turn goes automatically to another player). My only complaint about the game is that it seems to depend a lot on trials and errors and memorizing the dead-end paths the you took in the past to avoid them. This was not a big problem in the 4 levels in the game but I think it can be a problem if there are harder levels in the future since it will eventually lead to frustration. Great job and Thanks for the nice experience. |
| Apr 26 16:00:47 | 1h 09m | Scarry | ♥ 2 | I LOSE HAHAHA I don't know if creepy or funny but why not both. The sound effects both has a creepy vibe but also makes me laugh at the same time. I really love the "You Lose" sound so much. Since I hate shouting, I maxed the mic sensitivity and knocked with my finger to boost. The game game is fun to play but really hard too especially in some places where I keep hitting objects (they looked like graves). The art looks nice especially the ghost car. Great job. |
| Apr 26 16:37:21 | 36m 34s | KEYBOARD WARRIOR | ♥ 1 | Nice game. The game looks great, and I love the pixel art. It was little bit straining for my eyes since the background colors saturation feels a little bit high. The gameplay is fun but it is hard to move, aim and keep track of current letter at the same time. I found it easier to stay still and focus on shooting only and only when I feel surrounded, I start relocating. A score display after losing would be really, since I don't remember my score as I had to focus on surviving. Also I think adding wall around the area and may be obstacles would make it more fun. Great game and really well done. |
| Apr 26 16:50:19 | 12m 58s | Shuffle Climber | ♥ 1 | It is a really nice game but sometimes it is impossible. The random cards can be totally useless for a few turns. I think the game should either allow the player to have some control or foresight on the upcoming cards or the turn doesn't take a lot of time so that the player can quickly use his cards in hope of getting what he needs. One other option is to make jumping up a different control that doesn't need a card. The pixel art looks so great, I love it. The sound effects and music are also really good. Great job. |
| Apr 26 18:11:37 | 1h 21m | Text-Gen Platformer | ♥ 1 | That was enjoyable but too hard for me. I am slow type-writer so when I am running, I fail to quickly respond. I would be grateful if you could add 'up' for command history and 'tab' for autocomplete. The visuals looks good and the sounds are nice. Good job. |
| Apr 26 19:39:11 | 1h 27m | Alida of Arx | ♥ 3 | Yay, I've always wanted summon some darkness. I am amazed that this can be done in 3 days only, it is missing some polish (especially the walking sequence) but I can't complain given the incredible amount of work needed in so little time. The story was funny and relatable (no I am not wizard but I am a master in the arts of failure too). The voice acting was nice but it needs some editing to make the volumes feel similar. I still couldn't solve that chess puzzle but she will be fine, I think ghost don't need to worry about starving due to bankruptcy. I also would like to praise the music which was so great. Excellent work. |
| Apr 26 20:28:04 | 48m 53s | Age Of Asteroids | ♥ 1 | Nice game. I love the controls, they make the game feel so easy to play. On the other side, the game itself is hard (at least for me). I will try some different strategies later but the one I tried, which is "build 8 scouts to quickly before the 1st wave", doesn't seem to work since the waves get stronger quickly (especially wave 3) and I find myself lacking in resources. I think an in-game description for the buildings would be nice too. Good job. |
| Apr 26 20:53:47 | 25m 43s | Think Before Escape | ♥ 1 | One of the best interpretations of the theme I've seen. Everything is good except for one complaint which that jumps are hard (especially near the roofs) which is sometimes frustrating since the player needs to wait for the correct timing again. I also would like to suggest adding some coyote time where the player can jump after falling of a platform if he didn't exceed a specified small amount of time in the air which makes jumping easier especially near roofs. Great job. |
| Apr 26 21:45:10 | 51m 23s | Fire Duck Football | ♥ 1 | Nice game. The visuals and mainly ducks looks so good and that blue duck that announces the goals is really funny. The sound effects are also so nice. I really like the idea and I think it can be extended to more than 2 players. The game is really fun but it needs some balancing. For example, I can stand in my goal and the ball will never be able to get in it, so if I get the first goal, I can assure my win. The AI acts really weird and I am not sure how it can win with that playing strategy. Finally, the control feels a bit floaty but it is not so bad. Great work. |
| Apr 26 22:20:58 | 35m 48s | SSSS | ♥ 0 | It looks awesome. I had fun playing for a couple of times but I still only understand less than half of what is happening. More indicators and tooltips would be really really great. The art is awesome and music is nice. Some sound effects would be especially great here. However, I really love the idea and would really wish for a more finished version. Great job. |
| Apr 26 23:12:23 | 51m 25s | Jeff From Accounting | ♥ 0 | Wow, I love this game although I make typos a lot. I can't describe how much I love the visual design and the lighting. The music was really great too. One thing I would like to note is that you can identify enemies by how different the lighting looks on them. Since it seems that everything else is baked, the enemies stand out. I wonder if you used light probes? if not, I believe it may help minimize the visual differences between baked and dynamic objects. I finished the game and it was really fun. I lost 2 times till I discovered that I can notice the enemies, get near enough to wake them, then run back a certain distance, write their phrase, and finish them off. Excellent job. |
| Apr 26 23:21:14 | 8m 51s | Grid Gunner | ♥ 3 | Great game. It is really fun to play and looks great. I also love those "healing" red tiles, they were "helpful". My only problem was that in some levels I was having a hard time seeing things in crowded scenes but I think that this may be normal in bullet hell games. |
| Apr 27 12:08:22 | 12h 47m | Putt Putt Boom | ♥ 1 | I feel sorry for these golfers but it is extremely fun to ruin their life like that. One recommendation I have is to add a fast-forward button or add something for the player to do during the wave (e.g. player can buy and put mines on the field during the wave or something like that). The idea is super creative and really fun, I totally love it. Great job. |
| Apr 27 13:15:06 | 1h 06m | Wordslide | ♥ 2 | awesome.png I love this game. It is not as fast paced as I was expecting but it was still a lot of fun. The art style is so great and visually pleasing and I love you color choices. The music is not my taste but it was nice too. I also love how you mixed the 2 genres. Awesome job. |
| Apr 27 14:22:51 | 1h 07m | Age of Spires IV (Text/Console + RTS) | ♥ 1 | Nice game. I think you really shouldn't have omitted graphics, I love the old style command line aesthetics and would have given it a high score. The game was a bit confusing at first but the interface is good and I got accustomed to it pretty fast. The game is a bit hard but every time I learn more about the game and get better results so I feel challenged rather than frustrated. It seems that I can host a server but I didn't try that yet. I think an in-game tutorial would be great, since it is hard to read and memorize a large text tutorial. Great job. |
| Apr 27 15:17:40 | 54m 49s | ShootEm? | ♥ 1 | Nice game. Although the design is very simple, It is fun to experiment with the mechanics in it and I really like the lighting. The controls are also nice and the rebound idea, while not new, is so much fun to experiment with in here. It is nice to see a LD game with an in-game tutorial but I think it would be better to make it wait for a key or click instead of progressing on it's own, since it can be a bit fast in case you like try things first before reading the whole tutorial. I really think it will be fun when it become a full fledged multiplayer game. Great job. |
| Apr 27 15:39:25 | 21m 45s | TypeRacer | ♥ 1 | Nice game. Although I am slow at type writing, I enjoyed your game because it focused on type writing only instead of asking me to control multiple things at once like other typing LD entries. The concept is simple and easy to understand but challenging. Now we need online multiplayer and it will be perfect. Great job. |
| Apr 27 18:03:52 | 2h 24m | The Bugbear Tavern | ♥ 1 | Nice, I enjoyed the game. I really love the mix between 2D and 3D. My only complaint was that the game was little bit straight forward and didn't feel challenging. May be, the player can be required to solve a puzzle or explore somewhere in order to discover the recipe instead of having it served to him in a book. Otherwise, it was fun and the music is really great. Great job. |
| Apr 27 18:33:41 | 29m 49s | SHIRO NO OJO | ♥ 1 | This game is really fun. I was expecting it to act like Puzzle Bobble where spheres fall when nothing holds it from above but still it is fun as it is. The controls are great and the music is nice. Good work. |
| Apr 27 19:22:01 | 48m 20s | Wreckless Rally | ♥ 2 | Nice, I love both the idea and the execution. I didn't notice that what was happening before the menu was a tutorial so I ignored it and was confused as hell when I started playing but it was easy to grasp after a few missteps. The art is really great too. Well done. |
| Apr 27 19:48:03 | 26m 02s | Tiny Crusader | ♥ 0 | Nice game. I found it confusing at first since I didn't understand what I should do but when it became clear, it was a lot of fun. I like the idea and the art of those tiny crusaders. In some levels, I think it is impossible to get the lost crusader. Also it is a little bit weird when I remove the ground beneath him but he stays afloat, I think it may make more sense to make him fall but only join the crusade if he was touched before leaving the screen. Great work. |
| Apr 27 20:41:07 | 53m 04s | Super Slime Slasher Ultra | ♥ 2 | Played 2 times, 1 before the tutorial which was fun but I was wondering why I am not getting any points, and 1 after the tutorial where I realized how bad I am at this game. The game is really fun and the controls are really nice but the mouse control felt a little bit funky for me (I know a controller is recommended but I don't have one). The art is really great and the voice acting in the tutorial is so awesome. Great job. |
| Apr 27 21:24:18 | 43m 11s | Point-defense Hell | ♥ 1 | I like the idea. Even without a tutorial, it was really clear and easy to master. I lost on Wave 8 but it was really fun. Great job. |
| Apr 27 22:44:50 | 1h 20m | PlatSCII | ♥ 2 | First of all, thank you for making the commands short, I truly appreciate it. The game looks good and the controls are really good but I hate that you need to put focus on the textbox before typing; it would have been a lot easier (especially in the menu) if I didn't need to. The levels are really fun but the game is short and now I need more. The only problem I faced was in the tutorial where I got stuck in the "j+f" part and had to restart the game. The art look really great and so does the music and sfx. Great job. |
| Apr 28 09:23:36 | 10h 38m | Blocks'N'Blaster | ♥ 1 | This is really fun but really hard for me. I really can't focus on both platforming, shooting (which needs good timing and sometimes jumping) and tetris although I truly appreciate the mix. While my complaint is personal and has to do with my skill level, I have nothing else to complain about, I love it. The visuals looks great too. Great job. |
| Apr 28 09:59:41 | 36m 05s | The Imaginary Room | ♥ 1 | The idea is amazing and I love the implementation. The 2D part can a little bit hard though since the controls are bit floaty and it is hard to jump when there are tiles near the characters head. Otherwise, the game is really awesome and I have enjoyed collecting the 8 coins. Great job. |
| Apr 28 10:35:15 | 35m 34s | Dyeswap | ♥ 1 | I played the game yesterday, and even after 1 day, I can't criticize anything (except the "forward with face down" level, felt more like searching the scene and less like a puzzle). This game is perfect. Great job. |
| Apr 28 10:49:52 | 14m 37s | Sky Serpent Paint | ♥ 1 | Looks really good. I also like the idea. However, I felt that the controls are bit annoying. Although the serpent's slow speed makes the game relaxing, it also makes controlling him hard and decreases the excitement in the game. What especially makes the slow pacing hard is the fact that the paint is static in screen space while everything moves backwards relative to the screen so the player needs really good predictions for when the serpent will finally reach the paint. Otherwise, the idea is great, the implementation is nice, the visuals are awesome and pleasant for the eyes and the music is relaxing. Great job. |
| Apr 28 11:24:01 | 34m 09s | Build The Road Jack | ♥ 1 | Wow, I am soooo bad at this game. The graphics looks amazing and the music was ok. The idea is great and I like how it mixes the 2 genres. The camera and controls are the main drawbacks imo; the racing controls needs a little bit tuning and the camera in both the racing and the building part needs to be a little bit more smooth. Otherwise, it was a great and fun experience, well done. |
| Apr 28 11:46:25 | 22m 24s | SCARE-CADE | ♥ 1 | I guess my family will have to find someone else to save them bcz I am not ready to face those lunatics. I was surprised when one of them picked a knife, I felt like "Holy s\*\*t, I am f\*\*ked". The game is fun and the difficulty progresses in a nice pace. The art is really cute and I like the fact that the character slowly turns his face in the direction he moves. The atmosphere is nice, not creepy but has tension. I am just annoyed that I can't attack diagonally while the lunatics can. Overall, great game and one of the rare times I enjoyed a survival horror game. |
| Apr 28 13:07:47 | 1h 21m | Mojojo | ♥ 1 | I truly admire those visuals and music and those characters are so adorable. While I think the game is lacking on the mechanics side (except the exam part), the upbeat and cute experience made up for it. Good job. |
| Apr 28 14:37:30 | 1h 29m | Remote Bot | ♥ 0 | Nice idea but not for a slow typer like me. Reminded me why I make short aliases for my frequently used terminal commands. The ascii-like visuals looks pretty nice and fitting for the game. Great job. |
| Apr 28 20:57:16 | 6h 19m | Carnage | ♥ 1 | This game is really fun. I love the idea and the controls are really smooth. My only complaint is that the bikers are hard to spot (they are small with a lot of gray nearly similar to the road color) and sometimes too fast for me to react (although it may just be due to my incompetence). Otherwise, it is really good. Well done. |
| Apr 29 12:14:54 | 15h 17m | Witch's Escape | ♥ 2 | Nice game. I like the idea but the game mechanics are easily exploitable by clicking randomly on all arrow buttons. I think it would be nice to either add a penalty on wrong key presses or make the spells consume mana which can be recharged by drops coming after defeated puzzles. The art is really nice and the music is really good. Great job. |
| Apr 30 11:38:04 | 23h 23m | Snail and Salt | ♥ 2 | I underestimated it when I started playing but it turned out to be a nice and fun challenge. The mechanics are really well made and the difficulty curve is really well balanced. Well done. |
| May 1 13:50:46 | 26h 12m | Eyes on the Prize | ♥ 1 | Nice but too hard. I went on crafting randomly since I didn't have time to see what I have to do in the crafting menu. The enemy count become overwhelming after the first respawn. Otherwise, I really like the idea. I didn't try it in multiplayer mode but I think it would be better since the player can cover each other during crafting. The visual and audio aspect of the game is nicely done too. Good job. |
| May 10 15:59:01 | 218h 08m | Hyper Simox 3000 | ♥ 1 | Nice game. I skipped the description and kept dying a lot without understanding why. Now after reading the description, I still die a lot but now I know why. The "Simon Says" part was confusing because I initially didn't notice that the color sequence in the level splash screen was what I should follow. Despite my initial confusion, the game was really fun and the music is so great that I could play any game just to listen to it. Great job. |

The game mechanics is very simple but so fun to play. I think some expansion in the game mechanics would be nice (some suggestions: moving blocks, white blocks, speed up/down pickups, pickups for level rotation where the blocks stay the same but the wall and ball directions rotate 90 degrees, may be holes in the walls to other rooms). Still the game is great as it currently is. Great job. |
| May 12 20:05:24 | 6h 42m | Officer Pain - The Smash Cop | ♥ 2 | So this is what Joseph was doing between JoJo part 2 and 3. I wouldn't have been surprised if the charged shoot was actually Hamon. The game idea is really nice and the story was funny but the game mechanics needs a few enhancements. I finished the game without moving or blocking and only focusing on charging attacks. Some visual representation for the charged attack would be great too. The character designs are great but they feel a little bit out of place in the environment. The music is really nice too. Good job. |
| May 13 19:08:27 | 23h 03m | Wasted Warlocks | ♥ 1 | I am really sad that it is unfinished. I played till five of my cards reached the dead end at other side. I love the idea and the visuals look great. The game initially reminded me of Yu-Gi-Oh since the character cards reminded me of monsters and drink cards reminded me of spell/trap cards. It took me some time to understand how to use the drink cards. After finishing the game, I think an in-game tutorial would be greatly appreciated. Great job. |
| May 13 20:08:21 | 59m 54s | Memories ~ of a Gacha Tale | ♥ 1 | That was really fun. This is the longest game I played in this jam. The story was really cute and I love the art style. To be honest, I don't like the dice roll idea since it can be annoying and takes away the enjoyment of making choices (even if the choices didn't affect the story). Otherwise, everything else was great and I hope for an expansion and some audio. Also, these math problems are easy, I wish to see their faces when they start studying integration 😆. Great job. |
| May 15 11:41:40 | 39h 33m | Self Golf | ♥ 1 | Nice game. I hate golf but one good thing about this jam is that I found many fun golf combinations that I enjoyed a lot. I actually like the controls a lot and like the nice mix between golf mechanics and simple 2D platformer movement. I just wish that the hold right click was cancellable (or that the power keeps oscillating instead of saturating at maximum value). I also had some problems with clicking out of the game bounds on the browser. I also found the physics of hitting a ceiling a bit weird since I was expecting to bounce at reflection angle but the ball just bounce downwards instead. I also wish for a way to take zoomed out look at the whole level in order to plan my shots. Sorry for complaining a lot but I really enjoyed the game a lot so I couldn't help but nitpick at every little problem I had. The other aspects of the game are really great. The graphics is great, the subtle CRT effect is nice and the music is nice and calm. The levels are also fun and well designed. Great job. |
