Exactly, you have to point at a drop then hold down the mouse button, while still holding down the mouse button you can press a or p (or space) to jump.
And I agree completely, it isn't that much fun and certainly lacks feedback of all sorts (like sound) :-) Thank you for taking the time to both try it out and comment!
I agree, it is very hard to aim since you have almost no feedback on direction, strength and so on. The jumps needs to be more predictable and "feel" more natural.
Currently refactoring the code, hope to produce a second version (out of competition) since I want to get it right :-) I'll announce it on http://jmonkeyengine.org/groups/free-announcements/forum when it is done.
Thank you all for rating and commenting!
I like this game, it has a nice feel to it. Slow moving ships is ok, the trick is to multi task. Point the ship in the right direction, switch to another ship and so forth. But yeah, they shouldn't really go faster backwards :-)
Worked fine on my Mac. Nice graphics and story, leaves you wanting to know what happens :-)
The music is great, too bad the canvas doesn't fit on the Nexus One :-(
Sorry, couldn't judge since I don't have windows.
Worked well on my Debian machine. Nice little game. A bit hard to control.
Sorry, don't wan't to judge since the app requires internet access which isn't free for me. Still, cool with an Android game.

A bit difficult to control but otherwise really nice, enjoyed this.
Can't rate it, using Mac :(

Liked the graphics and sound, the graphics is so "ugly" it is cute :-) Rescued 48 person, on my way back with the last two when I ran out of time - now that is balanced game play!

Thank's to all of you that have taken the time to try out this game. As you say, the sounds becomes bugged after replay, didn't manage to nail that bug before submission. Also, I totally agree with all the comments. More GUI elements would be nice, a bit of tutorial, fine tuning the simulation numbers and some more effects.
It is open source, if anyone want to continue building on it you are welcome. I don't plan on doing so but I'll help out if there is interest.
Weeee particles :)
I think we broke the server, it does not respond so I can't download the game.
That was funny :)
Nice gfx :)
That was fun :)
Had a bit of trouble understanding the mechanics but otherwise really nicely done.
Sorry I can't rate, I don't have windows.
Yeah, running from inside blender worked on Linux. Thanks for the instructions.
Sorry, can't rate, do not have windows.

It didn't agree with my linux (not your fault, I didn't have the right versions of needed libraries). I'll come back for the OSX-version later and play that :) Thanks for making a linux version.

Sorry can't rate since I don't have windows.
All your download links seems to point to the windows distribution and my linux can't load the DLLs :)
I tried pointing to a linux version of LWJGL-2.8.5 natives. App started, a black screen that said "Hallo welt" and "Made by.." then nothing happens.

Sorry, can't rate since I don't have glibc 2.15 but Yay linux-version :)
I can't seem to interact with anything, I see the playing field and the carrots but wherever I click, nothing happens :(
Chrome on OSX crashes with the "oh snap" error on the page. Safari's just a white space where the game should be.

I agree, repeat jumping on the yellow dudes was pretty fun :) I liked the sounds and music the best. Oh yeah, hard level is really hard. All-in-all a complete little game that is rather fun.

Sorry I can't rate. I get the "This Site44-hosted website has been temporarily suspended due to excessive usage".
It ran fine on my Mac OSX 10.9. It crashed on a shader (NOT the same as eralpkaraduman reported) but that has been fixed.
