I don't have an ANdroid, can't run.

ronkmonster 2012-04-23 14:46

Not really sure what I am supposed to. Also I can only see the 4 buildings to the left of your screenshot. Using a Samsung Galaxy S with ICS 4.04(unofficial).

Could not run. ADB returned this error :

[INSTALL_FAILED_OLDER_SDK]

Droid 3, Gingerbread

Ah, got it running on my Transformer. It might help if you let us know it's for Honeycomb and higher in your description.

All the graphics seem to be out of alignment from your picture. There's a large open space off to the right of the fifth building, and all the buildings seem to be levatating off the ground. The pixel art is really nice, but the alignment is pretty far off for devices that don't share your aspect ratio and pixel density.

I couldn't figure out what the -/+ buttons were supposed to accomplish. What do they do?

Nice, peaceful loop in the background. :)

Sorry guys, been at work all day, just noticed I had the manifest set for api 13. Im updating some instructions right after this. Sorry about that ;)

dr_soda 2012-04-23 21:50

Thanks, I'll check back later with my phone. I too made my entry as an Android game, so I'm going out of my way to look for fellow Android devs. :)

dansun 2012-04-23 22:13

Just updated with a repacked apk for 1.6 and beyond, tested for several seconds in the emulator. The -/+ changes modifiers for the buildings, what they do is part of the fun to explore ;)

Doesn't work on my phone. It also keeps playing music even after I quit, until I uninstall the application.

Sad. iPhone only here. Frown Town.

pabloam 2012-04-26 17:45

The idea is funny hehe.
Works in Samsung Galaxy Nexus with 4.0.4.

monkeyarmada 2012-04-27 09:02

Sorry, no android to test.

volando 2012-04-28 16:54

I dont have android. :S

sdwil2k5 2012-04-29 13:46

I like that you made an android game.

On my Galaxy Ace I could only see the apartment building, hospital and factory. Played with it for a little not sure what was going on, but looking at your screenshot I see that I should have had a few more buildings to play with. I have scored based on the part I could play.

Nice job though, it's just a shame that I couldn't play it properly.

summaky 2012-05-01 09:47

I didn't know what to do. The first time I tried to run it, I got to the intro screen but couldn't go to the game and the music kept playing until I uninstalled the game. After installing it again, I could play but didn't understood what I am suppossed to do. Trying to click the +/- buttons on the buildings increased the number by 6 or 7 each time, but I didn't see a difference and I just watched the number of humans go up, but no couples nor children.

I think the music is cool, by the way.

jmaasing 2012-05-02 12:27

The music is great, too bad the canvas doesn't fit on the Nexus One :-(

robcozzens 2012-05-06 00:37

I would play it, but I'm on an iMac.

wampus 2012-05-09 01:19

Had an alignment and screen fitting problem. Also, wasn't sure what to do. Nice music.

aramis erak 2012-05-09 07:15

Promising, needs help file and goal. Works on Acer A200 w/4.0 ICS.
Music is nice.

grimfang4 2012-05-11 17:16

Sorry, no Android.

airrider3 2012-05-13 20:59

Try to make a web/Mac version next time! :)
