This is for the 48hr compo, where is the source?

dr_soda 2012-04-23 20:25

Indeed, source please!

But... yay, another Android app! I don't feel so lonely now.

dr_soda 2012-04-23 20:38

Also, why does this app want full internet access?

andrebessa 2012-04-23 20:58

Things SDK, do not worry. He can not do any harm, except fun.

spiridion 2012-04-25 03:30

Fun game, though using your finger means it's hard to see the color the planet wants (at least on my phone). High score of 659.

serilyn 2012-04-25 03:30

Fun little game.It could use some instructions in the beginning though, I didn't realize I had to match the color on the world at first, partially because my finger was in the way.

r3ason 2012-04-27 20:21

Fun break from all the desktop games! Would love to hear some music included. Great job; thanks!

make-a-game 2012-04-28 00:58

Sorry, don't have an android.

robcozzens 2012-04-28 03:44

I would have played, but I'm on an iMac.

namuol 2012-04-28 04:56

Simple mechanic + good controls = fun. Nicely done.

Cool to see Android games here!
If you want to target Android in the future but dont want to leave out Windows/Linux/OSX, try libGDX! It's a great library; I've used it for cross-platform development and it's surprisingly easy. Cheers!

geti 2012-04-28 06:39

Dont have android to run it :(

jedi 2012-04-28 08:01

Don't have an android.

ddrkirbyisq 2012-04-29 07:10

Might work better if you ensured that you got more of the right color, and then gradually increase the speed or something...

scgrn 2012-05-01 03:32

Nice game, it's cool to see Android games on here!

summaky 2012-05-01 10:07

I don't like when the planet changes color without any apparent reason because when the colored part is small most of the time is under my finger and I think that I need a red meteor but it changed to blue, for instance, and
I didn't see it. Some times it even changes just when I am about to collide with the correct color...

Besides that, I liked the game, but I suck at it with only 523 points as high score.

andrebessa 2012-05-02 21:16

Hello Dear!
Thanks for you time, by comments and feedback. I'll upload a version for those who have iOS.

someone 2012-05-03 13:41

Just got an android phone the other day - yay.
Irritating when the planet changes colour right before you hit something. There should be some kind of warning. The game didn't feel particularly engaging.

johnicholas 2012-05-03 13:47

Sorry, I can't run this - no smartphone.

andrebessa 2012-05-03 14:23

Yes, you must have a kind of warning would be better. I'll do it in next update .In 48 hours, it was not possible.

djcsdy 2012-05-03 14:27

Quite nicely put together but it's not very original and it gets boring quite quickly.

It's a bit of an odd idea that it can ever be a good thing for a meteor hitting a planet that looks a lot like earth :).

Some warning when the planet is about to change colour would be nice.

khayet 2012-05-03 17:55

I don't have a smartphone. :(

ratking 2012-05-03 17:57

Can't rate, I don't have a smartphone whatsoever.

demonpants 2012-05-03 21:58

Alas, I have no Android device to test this on.

davedobson 2012-05-04 05:32

Don't got the phone, can't play the game, sorry - but it looks neat.

thotep 2012-05-04 10:23

Gameplay feels too random to be fun.

homelinen 2012-05-04 14:49

I agree with Dan C, I would allows line up for a colour and then the one I needed changed instantly.
Mechanics all work well and could probably be brought together into a nice package.

jmaasing 2012-05-06 19:48

Sorry, don't wan't to judge since the app requires internet access which isn't free for me. Still, cool with an Android game.

asfdfdfd 2012-05-06 20:57

Dudes without phones can use emulator from Android SDK.

dr_soda 2012-05-07 00:20

Dudes with a monster PC gaming rig can fire up the Android emulator and *maybe* get 5fps on a game. It's not a realistic option.

On the other hand there's blue stacks, which might work. Haven't tried it myself.

paulsb 2012-05-07 18:12

Pretty good! The colour change caught me out on many occasions (made more tricky by having my finger over the information), but it was fun. And fair play for going for an Android game!

free_napalm 2012-05-12 17:03

Cool idea to make an Android game, but the gameplay is not really fun. Also, I felt not really as if it was my fault when I lost, it was due to the lack of meteorites of fitting colours.
Maybe you should have added the ability to change the current colour randomly by shaking or something to spice up the gameplay.
