Super Space Goat Thief Standoff!! by Jezzamon 2012-12-18T04:23:00
Reminded me of asteroids somewhat. I didn't even notice the bouncing bullets until later and I thought that was quite novel!

There's a bug where the music plays again after you try another level or restart a previous one due to not meeting the cash goal.
Maybe a secondary thing to worry about would've made things a bit more enticing.
I like it! Very clean, nice music, took some getting used to the system but once I got the hang of it I was hooked.
My only complaint was that the UI sounds were a bit too clicky, and I disabled them.
It was enjoyable, but I didn't find myself making that much use of the stand-back mechanic since I'm too used to playing Super Crate Box.
I downloaded the version with music, but it doesn't seem to want to play. I press Start, it flashes to the screen but fades back to the title, even though there's music in the directory next to it.
What do?
Still not working. I've tried dragging the song onto the EXE, keeping it selected in the directory, but nothing's working.
This should've come with clear instructions on how to get a song in, because I clearly haven't been able to figure it out by myself.
@Dansludumdare: You're probably right. Oh well - I really wanted to see what F-Zero music would do to it. :<
I got caught up on the same thing as Tumoxep, but I was very impressed by the visuals, look, feel and sounds when I was playing!
It was a little tricky to deal with the text parser, but it definitely was a morbid bit of fun. I got him to punch the computer in scenario 2.
I had some trouble figuring out that you had to select move to move first. Why not be able to move first thing rather than having to select it? Pressing attack overrides it anyway.
I also encountered a bug where I couldn't attack the Hero if I stayed still and didn't move. Some sounds might've been helpful to tell me whether I was hitting or not.
Otherwise, you got the idea right. Good job!
I had a go at this game blind, and I loved the idea even though I'm terrible at micromanagement. Although, maybe a way to score myself and try harder would've been nice too.
Brilliant idea. I don't play much minesweeper but its very engaging, even when you have no idea what you're doing!
Holy crap. The loading screen told me I was in for a crazy time. The cover art is amazing, and the graphics are good - but the forground objects really make it difficult to see what I'm doing.
I'd like to play more, but with all the foreground moving so quickly it gets hard to keep a track of what I'm doing.
Oh, and Goats. This game has one. Also, full points for audio and humour.
I liked it! Reminded me of the Lost Vikings. It didn't take long for me to get a hang of the controls and I liked how far you took the core mechanic.
However, I tried putting both portals on top of each other and I ended up hearing a terrible noise. Maybe make a check to see if the other portal isn't right on top of it and deny deployment?
Otherwise, I found it very enjoyable!
Got a score of 274250, but this was hilarious. I had plenty of "Uh oh!" moments, and that kept me engaged! On the second playthrough I figured out that the red trees exploded.
The build-up of the soundtrack is great too, and I found myself cackling as I watched things burn.
Quick and simple, it took me a while to figure out that they were using bananas. A good romp. What happened to the princess?
There might not be much to do here, but its gorgeous! Simply gorgeous!
Very silly - especially once the rock and roll kicked in!
Impressive all around. Great use of theme and very fun!
Enjoyable romp! Nice and simple. It took me a short while to figure out which planets payed the best.
I bagged myself 169 pounds of ... er, Poon? What's the plural for them; Poons?
The sound feedback was very good! It had a lot of black comedy to it and simple mechanics that kept me going.
I destroyed Happyland. It took a couple of goes, but it was a good experience. Perhaps some sound would've been nice...
Great idea, but very difficult, like you said!
Leothecool: Ah I thought I got that one fixed, Thanks for noticing. :)
Brilliant idea behind this game. Bravo!
Gorgeous graphics, and I noted that the character sprite changed subtly depending on whether they were facing 'up' or 'down' - That's polish! Also, the graphics complimented the mood.
My only complaints are that music was a little repetitive and and the AI tended to wig out I started killing. That aside, job well done!
